They bought him expensive brands so that even if he opted for the simpler outfits he still exuded the wealth they wished to represent. He preferred simple slacks, slip on shoes and cotton button downs. He didnât like to have to think about his image too much, even his hair was low maintenance.

s u n d r i n kx // x He seems to radiate the sunâs energy, his skin always had the heat and glow of someone whoâd been out in the sun all day. When he touched others, he could fill them with feelings of calm and contentment as if theyâd been resting on a beach for the last twelve hours. Still learning his powers, at times he can use this accidentally or overshoot making the individual sun drunk â making them loopy and compliant. Navi feels guilty when this happens, making him hesitant to use this power.
d i v i n e t o u c hx // xIn past lives, Ra could heal humans with their touch. Navi is still very new to his powers, afraid to test their limits. While thereâs been no record of him healing any major illnesses, many humans who have interacted with him claim to feel a general overall increase in wellness. Itâs as if his touch enriches them with a sense of wellness that stays with them.
d i m e n s i o n c r e a t i o nx // x As a major god, he can create pocket dimensions within the patheon â though he hasnât quite figured it out yet. He mostly stays within his own, but heâs learned how to navigate to the ones that he needs to get to.
s e m i â i m o r t a lx // x Heâs told that only another god or god-killing weapon can kill him, though heâs not sure how far thatâs been tested.

k i n d x // x Navi had always been a kind boy as a child. His family always had staff in the house growing up, they ended up raising him with their own. Despite his wealthy background, Navi never considered his class status. He would often prefer the company of those who had more humble beginnings, taking care of his staff and friends in any way possible. He liked to assume that most people were capable of being good, that they just needed a helping hand.
i n t e l l i g e n t x // x His parents prioritized education from day one. His mother was a surgeon and his father a professor and writer, there was no limit to their expectations of him. Luckily he loved reading from a young age. They made an entire library just for him when they moved to London. He had many interests ranging from botany to computer science to astrology. Most of his fondest memories were on days that heâd spend laying in the sun reading all day.
p r a g m a t i c x // x One of the traits that Ra had most admired in Navi was his pragmaticism. Major gods came with great power and responsibility, they needed to have a strong mind and the ability to make difficult decisions for the greater good.

n a i v e x // x Navi wanted to believe in people. He didnât doubt someone unless they gave him reason to. Often people tried warning him of who to trust, whispering rumors of their unsavory behavior. He knew people made mistakes; he tries not to hold peopleâs past behaviors against them.
b o o k s x // x Much of Naviâs life was spent buried in books. He was easily distracted by them, often reading as many as five books at a time. His parents would always encourage him to read, but they just pushed him farther away from independence and making friendships. Since heâs arrived in the Pantheon heâs spent most of his days reading, too afraid to wander beyond his pocket realm.
c o n f r o n t a t i o n x // xNavi was never the sort to argue. He found most of the time only the loudest were heard. He often shriveled beneath confrontation, more likely to appease the other person so that he may move on then to try to win an argument.

l o s i n g c o n t r o lx // x This new god thing was pretty overwhelming at times, and while Ra took the back seat to allow Naviâs mind to adjust. Still figuring how to use his powers, he has immense feelings of guilt and shame when he can not control them. When he first emerged, he had made so many humans he encountered drunk on sun â he was afraid to touch anyone that first month. He keeps to his pocket dimension mostly, though he doesnât mind stepping out if he has someone who doesnât mind holding his hand a little.
g o d s x // x Navi doesnât yet understand them, but he can sense that there is something stewing beneath the surface. It was all too apparent during his ceremony of introduction. As one of the only attendees that didnât get absolutely wasted, he was able to witness many of them in full form. It seemed to be complicated politics at play which he didnât have the time to begin to understand.
u n c e r t a i n t y x // xRa doesnât seem to have many answers, more like a distant whisper than the essence of a major god. Navi doesnât understand what exactly falls under his domain or how to use his powers or how to navigate the politics of it all â itâs a lot to adjust to all at once. He doesnât even know if heâll be able to maintain his sanity or sense of self, and everyone seems to have a different but equally vague answer.

Ra had always been known for being selective with their vessel, making them jump through hoop after hoop. Navi had been no different. In this world so few were uncorrupt, always painted with streaks of greed, hate or jealousy. He had a heart full of light, something Ra did not want to quell with the burden of godly knowledge so soon. Gods were so jaded, it was the cost of eternal life. Ra believed that Navi had to learn his own way, even if he had to watch him fumble a little along the way.
It wasnât that he struggled in social situations, but he was never the type to demand attention to deliver rhetoric. He did better with smaller one on one conversations. It was easier to really understand another personâs perspective that way. He was addicted to context, often delving into details that others overlooked trying to understand every facet of an issue. As an academic it was his duty to pursue the truth.
Many gave him more credit than he thought he was due. Silence favored him, adding intrigue to his rare wisdom. He never gave the impression that he believed to know more or that his knowledge was better. When he spoke it was in such a way that anything that might be perceived as a slight by someone else seems like a gentle suggestion coming from him. He didnât have the energy for judgement, too preoccupied with himself to worry about what others might be doing. In fact he is often in awe at the resiliency of others, especially those less privileged than he who have since made something of themselves.
Often trapped in his own mind, Navi often found himself questioning the morality of his very existence daily. He could do nothing without analyzing his own intentions beforehand. He knew that the human ego had a way of influencing your subconscious to dictate your decisions. There was no decision he could make without having a small existential crisis.
It was easier to ignore his own issues if he could help someone else. Often chasing the hellish internal dialogue, he seeks out opportunities to help others. When people share with him, he remembers what they tell him and asks them about it â follows up and offers to help. This could be something as simple as rearranging your bedroom to writing your fatherâs eulogy. He enjoys helping others, believing deep in his core that a little bit of kindness has the capacity to change the very order of our world. Otherâs call him naĂŻve, but he just considers himself hopeful.

H I S T O R I U M
Navi had a laughably cushioned life. His parents had immigrated from South Asia to England for Uni. It was there that they met. Both of them coming from wealthy and ambitious family it seemed like the perfect match. His mother went on to become a world-renowned surgeon, his father an esteemed professor at Oxford University.
They lived in a beautiful estate, tended to by an entire staff. In the summers theyâd vacation to Sri Lanka to visit family. They lived as the elite in England but in Sri Lanka they lived as kings. Still, it never mattered to Navi how big the house was that they lived in. All he wanted was an expansive library and a sunny spot to sit and read.
He never made many friends in school, thereâd be an occasionally best friend but theyâd usually move on to someone who did something more than just lie around and read. In all honesty he preferred the company of books. It was easier to just be an observer, if he wanted friends he could find them â in the Iliad or Peter Pan. There was a friend for every kind of mood or scenario you could think of.
Then the dreams began. They always felt too real, like he was living another life when he went to sleep. He kept seeing the same symbols showing up in his dream, he began journaling his dreams in detail deciphering them. He believed that he was being circled by the Essence of the Sun God, Ra.
Ra only took the vessel of a champion who passed through their challenges, proving that they were pure -of heart with a sharp mind. Navi was soft, but he had a light inside him that resonated with Ra. Navi told his parents who were resistant to the idea. They wanted him to become an engineer or something in medicine, not a god. It scared them to think about losing him while he was still young.
