Delicate, warm, striking features, Aurelia has always been a regal beauty. Her hair — which is naturally a dark, silky black — reaches just past her shoulder blades although she's contemplated cutting it shorter. She can often be seen with it styled in a ponytail, otherwise it's left hanging haphazardly. Her striking hazel eyes are usually accentuated by some sort of makeup, catching the attention of anyone who happens to gaze in her direction. Aurelia has very few markings on her skin save for a few beauty marks on her shoulders. The dark clothing she wears only serves to emphasize the best qualities of herself, contrasting heavingly with her eyes and her lips, which are usually outlined in bright red lipstick. Even her pale skin seemingly serves this purpose, and Aurelia is sure of using it to her own advantage. She likes to keep her outfits clean and to the point, rarely seen wearing anything that's too gaudy.

Growing up with a single father who was always at work Aurelia is very much a person who is overtly independent. She's not exactly adverse to taking help, she simply just doesn't want to rely on someone who may be there one day and not the next. Aurelia doesn't want to feel that pain again.
Even though Lia appears to be a slightly steely shut-off person, it's actually quite the opposite. She's got one fiery personality. Aurelia is rather passionate and has a short fuse at times. She get’s in a lot of arguments and never really lets up. If she feels someone is doing her or her loved one’s wrong or is manipulating them, then she has no issue speaking up for what she believes in. She’s always got that spark.
It takes a lot for someone to gain Aurelia's trust. She doesn't let them see what she's really like and the dark parts of her life. However, when she does trust someone, she is fiercely loyal to them and it it is incredibly hard to lose. She may not always want their help, but she'd willingly do anything for them. Whatever they need. Though she seems semi-open, Lia has a truly hard time letting people in. She's a cynic, and until someone proves they are sincere (or in other cases just simply wiggles their way forcefully through her walls against her will), she probably won't trust you.
Aurelia isn't arrogant. However, she is proud. While she does have high expectations for herself to fulfill, she is proud of what she has achieved and what she has earned with her own hard work. Lia isn't the person who'd shrug off her friends' victories; yes, she'll be proud of them, although not in a parental sense. She's not the more humble or self-depracating person, but what sets her apart from egomaniacs is that she can be proud while keeping her feet on the ground.
While Lia does have friends, she's not the most friendly person. She isn't a total bully, but is definitely unfriendly in some regard to those she doesn't know, regardless of social status or wealth. She can act a bit rough and hostile on the outside, and definitely does not radiate a warm demeanor. She is neither the most charming nor welcoming person you could meet, that's for sure. Obedience has never been Aurelia's strong suit. Following rules has never been her thing, to be honest. Lia is a free thinker, and is relatable to an untamable creature of the wild. She tends not to follow order if order does not benefit her, and can be rather disruptive. Her unruly nature refuses to be controlled.
Although she can come across as cold and vain, that's not all there is to her. She can be witty, friendly, and a protective shield to her friends. All you have to do is give her a chance and perhaps she'll give you the time of day too.

LIKES. Aurelia likes reading things she considers useful or interesting (especially in foreign language), nothing like something boring like space technology or something. She rarely ever reads for fun. Lia also likes bubble tea (specifically jackfruit and mocha flavored). Her favorite seasons are autumn and winter as they have the coldest weather. Lia is also a night owl.
DISLIKES. Lia detests english literature class, perhaps the most boring thing she's ever had to take. She hates when people are late, almost as if they don't value her time. Aurelia has never seen the appeal of flowers, all of them smell nauseating to her. Not to mention she has the opposite of a green thumb. Rom coms, no explanation needed. Lia doesn't like the feel of sweating. She also hates people who portray themselves as "innocent", we all have our demons.
QUIRKS. Aurelia fidgets a lot, although she hides it very well. You will never catch her in the color pink. She also prefers the cold and keeps her AC blasting during all times of the day.
STRENGTHS. Aurelia is rather flexible individual and can adapt to the situation. She doesn't falter at breaking the rules, or feel squeamish about getting her hands dirty. Lia is quite knowledgable when it comes to scholarly topics. However, she is also really street-smart as well as being a good student (the young woman is clever as a fox). Her ability to work under pressure is amazing, considering she only ever takes into account herself. Her self-sufficiency allows her not to have any strings attached when going into things.
WEAKNESS. Lia certainly doesn't break the rules all the time - she simply disregards them. She'll follow them unless it doesn't benefit her to (which can happen a lot). Academically, Aurelia is a good student, but her citizenship needs some help. Whether it be sports, group projects, or anything else, Lia has horrendous teamwork skills.
FEARS. Lia thinks she's pretty well-rounded, but she has a fear of being weak. Even though Lia is pretty self-sufficient, she's terrified she will spend her whole life being alone. Aurelia has one of those mundane, "normal" fears. She has never been stung by any insect - ever - and would prefer to keep it that way. She also is deathly afraid of water, and never learned how to swim.

KHONSU. One of the oldest Egyptian Gods, Khonsu is ruler over the Moon. Khonsu is featured in several myths, often gambling light and time, although wise he tends to be rather solitary in nature. After becoming the Host of Geb Lia was marked on her clavicle with the symbol of a moon.
CHRONOKINESIS. Aurelia is able to decelerate, stop or even accelerate time around her body, as well as a form of retrocognitive projection that allowed her to replay the recent pasts as short bursts of ghostly images. By focusing carefully, she is able to slow down and stop objects entirely, enabling her to freeze projectiles in mid-air, immobilize her enemies, and various other effects. This as a whole takes immense concentration and she is never able to go back farther than a minute, although she's never pushed herself past that.
INVISIBILITY. A simple ability, Lia is able to render herself completely invisible to the naked eye. She is only allowed to do this for five minutes before she begins to fade back. Lia has also discovered that she is able to render others invisible with her but the time she is able to do this decreases drastically.

Aurelia's life has been nothing less than complicated from the start. It all started when her father was twenty-four and living in Seoul with what seemed like a promising future. The Jeong chaebol definitely wasn't the biggest out there, but it was enough to be considered a chaebol and keep the family afloat. However, her father was young, handsome, and reckless, and didn't care for the family business. His two younger siblings - the only Jeong sister still in high school - were brilliant, yet forced to clean up the mess her father left behind. There were many times when he nearly destroyed what his family has worked for, but his two younger siblings managed to fix everything he did before it became fatal.
Her grandfather was eventually sick of her father's behavior - sleeping around with girls, and leaving them out to dry. So eventually they pawned him off, marrying him off to the daughter of a slightly less wealthy, yet promising businessman. Her father hated it; he was horrible to his wife, a demure woman, having her bear two boys - and stayed with her for a few years - before leaving her side to flee to the smaller city of Daegu.
It was there where, in a very cliche manner, her father had fallen in love. Or so it seemed. Her mother was poor but immensely hardworking and brilliant woman, with features that seemed to be carved out of marble, and a fire in her belly behind her disciplined facade. Lia's father grew into a more responsible, caring man as he spent more time with her. Finally, they married in private and had their first child and only child, Aurelia. Unfortunately due to complications with Lia's birth her mother passed away leaving her father with a child he knew nothing about caring for. He tried to give Lia back to his siblings or parent's but they denied angered that they had left his arranged marriage for another woman, scolding him for only putting hardship on their family name.
Eventually her father found work in another, new world in the States and with nothing but a few hundred to their name her up and moved to America when Aurelia was only six. They eventually settled in a small town in Colorado, and this is where most of Lia's childhood came to light. Of course, it was anything but pleasant. Her father had become a bitter, unruly man and largely blamed her for the death of her mother who was the love of his life. Their relationship was strained, and the happy moments they shared were few if any. Lia learned to cook clean, and enrolled herself in the public school in town by herself. She rode her bike to school everyday, and cooked dinner every night for her father who worked 12hr shifts and was barely ever home when she was there. It was then that she largely leaned how to be independent and became into the hardened young woman she is today.
Everything she accomplished she did by herself and she will never not be proud of that fact. Her acceptance to Lindenwood was a godsend, anything to get away from her father. Thankfully they offered her a full ride so money wasn't an issue. The day they left her father told her that she loved him for the first time, that she looked just like her mother, but Lia couldn't find the heart to say it back - after everything he had done. At Lindenwood she's been something of a loner but she doesn't really mind, it's how she's lived the majority of her life. The opportunity to go to Cairo was required which is the only reason she went, she's never really had a desire to travel.
