Continued stories of the abandoned characters. Stories of new and powerful sons and daughters of Venash. Dedicated RPers are welcomed to adopt or create and shape the characters to their liking.

Introduction

The sons and daughters of Venash. They are prince and princesses of a the king of Pruwas which have lived for only hundreds years but his powers of shadow and darkness manipulation are non as any other has seen. He has bestowed five spheres of darkness, some containing powers while some containing mighty shadow creatures to aid his children in the conquering of Daughtris.

The summary of episode 1 and episode 2 can be found in the OOC's information board.

In this RP, I will be using the combination of T1 and my own rating system. Your attacks and defend are your own but the outcome of it will be determined and posted by the GM. For more explanation about this, ask me through the OOC.

Every NPC and the environment are controlled by the Manager which is shadereen. To manage the story, whenever I find your stories are illogical, unrealistic, and unsatisfactory, I will edit them as I see fit with my own words, even if you have spent many hours of your day to write it. If you scroll way down, you'll see more guides and rules. You'll also see beautiful pictures of how I imagine Daughtris to be.

The continents in Daughtris

Avory

The capital of the continent of Avory is named Bright Port Metropolis, located beside the sea and is home to many kinds of races. Bright Port Metropolis is the largest trading city and owns the largest port in all of Daughtris. Almost everything can be found in the market place sold by merchants and travelers from every corner of the world.

The king of Avory, Judan, his queen, Xandra, and their daughter, Bella, lives in the castle which is located in the west side of the metropolis. As the rulers, they govern the continent.

Pruwas

The sky in the continent of Pruwas is always grey. Rarely does the clouds part. Pruwas is inhabited by a lot of dark creatures because of this strange phenomenon. The capital of Pruwas is named Dark Wing Metropolis for how the metropolis seemed always to be shadowed by a gigantic dark wing. The castle of Pruwas is located in the middle of Dark Wing Metropolis and the king is Venash, an ancient king who lived longer than anyone in Daughtris. He has many sons and daughters from his many mistresses. In the center of Dark Wing Metropolis is the power plant, built on the largest energy pool in all of Daughtris. The power plant powers Dark Wing City’s advance machineries which were bought from Brunoma and Demotia, making it the most powerful metropolis compared to the others. The continent supplies many kind of energy filled objects and dark artifacts to every region which does not own their own vast supply of energy.

Brunoma

The original population of the region of Brunoma are dwarves but as time pass, many more kind of races inhabits it, learning their ways of designing and producing machineries. The continent that Brunoma does business most with is their neighbour, Pruwas, as the metropolis is closer. The capital of Brunoma is named Boltcrusher after the dwarf founder of the metropolis. Boltcrusher has two sectors. One is above ground and another is in the grounds beneath which are called The Mines. Boltcrusher has lots of earth crafted artefacts, weapons, and machineries made from the bountiful materials and ores found and mined from the mines underground. The machineries made and produced in Boltcrusher is the best in all of Daughtris. The energy pool of Boltcrusher is located in The Mines. The power plant is combined with the machines factory which serves to produce power and manufacture machines both.

Lightwake

The capital of Lightwake is called Ostwyn. It is located on one of Lightwake’s hovering island. The current ruler of Ostwyn is Kage, a half elf which inherited the throne by assassinating the last king. Most of the inhabitants of Lightwake are great in controlling mana, making up for the lack of energy pools on the hovering islands. The highest mountain in Daughtris is located in the centre of the continent of Lightwake. The goddess of ice’s altar can be found one top of one of the snowy mountains. A lot of wind, ice, lightning, and light enchanted artifacts as well as enchanted weapons and mana filled vials can be found in this continent. They supply these items to the world.

Afukira

Afukira is the where most land beast-men came from. Many warriors that prefer using Ki inhabits the region. Lots of magnificent creatures live and can only be found in this region. The capital of Afukira is named Sandsummer. Some of the houses of the villages in Afukira are built in strangely shaped rocks that hang in the air. Afukira supplies many kind of animal meat to the other region in Daughtris.

Clearwood

The capital of Clearwood is named Woodacre. There is a gigantic tree in the middle of the metropolis that serves as a power plant. The tree itself has great amount of energy that it collects from the earth and spread to the entire metropolis. There are also other smaller trees that function the same as the gigantic tree all over Clearwood. The continent of Clearwood has lots of water and light element crafted artifacts and weapons. The buildings are made of strong Mana imbued trees, enabling it to withstand attacks from hostile destructive creatures. Clearwood is the supplier of great quality fabric materials to all of Daughtris.

Demotia

Demotia is the name of the island and the name of the metropolis built on it. The inhabitants of this island are mainly demons and other darker creatures but there are also some other non-dark creatures such as angels and fairies. Demotia has great machineries comparable to Brunoma's but it has a more stylish looks. Demotia is the metropolis to be celebrate. The metropolis concentrates more on entertainment and pleasure which is why it has countless high class night club lounges that are scattered throughout the metropolis. The streets are filled with thieves and assassins but the metropolis itself are governed by yakuzas. In Demotia, anyone can easily find fire, lightning and dark artifacts and weapons.

Fishan

Coldhollow is the capital of the continent of Fishan. It is located deep under the sea. The inhabitants of Daughtris use submarines to go to Coldhollow and the other city and towns located under the sea. Coldhollow has countless tubes that serve as walkway or roads to the non-water breathers. Fishan main population are beast-men of the sea but other creatures also do inhabit it. Some of the inhabitants that can breathe underwater can swim to Coldhollow but it would take a long time and it would be dangerous for all the monsters lurking around. Coldhollow has bountiful lightning, water, and ice crafted artifacts and weapons can be found in Fishan.

Bestia ruins

A long time ago, Bestia was once a high technology continent filled with powerful creatures. A few thousand years ago, it was destroyed and turned to ruins by a legendary dragon by the name of Bahamut. Today, the region is filled with dangerous beasts and monsters. This is where treasure hunters go to search for ancient powerful artifacts.

Toggle Rules

- Be kind and patient. Don't ever be rude.

- No metagaming. If you describe your character as trusting and naive, you will not 'feel something off' for no reason when a different character is lying to them.

- No godmoding. Don't even put other players someplace without their permission: if someone only provides that they are walking down a road, PM them to ask what country they are in before having your characters meet. If you've had private agreements, let me know in the OOC or I might prematurely flip my shit.

- Grammar, spelling, punctuation: I will not demand perfection, but I am expecting it. Spell check, people. If you're not sure how a word is spelled, JFGI.

- There will be no time skips or time jumps because on episode 1 of Gods of Elements, there were some time skips that made the story disoriented. If you wish to time skip, please inform me and I shall work something out. Example of time skips are: A few hour later, A day later, etc... the passing of time in Daughtris will be determined by the quantity and length of posts made.

- Do not auto and control any NPC that aren't your underlings or subordinates. Every NPC in this RP is controlled by me. Do not suddenly create a new subordinate for yourself. I'll edit him or her out without regards of how hard you work on your post.


Guidelines

- Quality over quantity: no word minimum. If you can be concise while still maintaining a proper flow in the story, excellent. If you can write thousands of words without making other players feel left out, also excellent. If you want to write a chapter on how your character absentmindedly takes out an army, seduces a princess, then wrestles a dragon into submission, please proceed to the nearest exit. Remember, the NPC and monsters are played by the GM.

- No Mary Sues: Not in character creation, and not in storytelling. If you are trying to make their character more important than those of others, or are unnaturally forcing people into a story arc centered on your character, see ya.

- Do not break character: story advancement is great, but not when it's forced. Collective writing is like romance. Keep it subtle, find the right moment. Don't make a grab for a lady's tits.

- Post frequency: once every 3-4 days is a good guideline. I do not intend to enforce this. It is fine to post once a week, but if you plan to do so, please try to avoid back-and-forth interaction with players that want to post daily.

- Writing format: write in past tense. Out of RP necessity, your narration will not be omniscient. Keep in mind what your character can reasonably have knowledge of. A first person perspective is allowed if you choose to use it – it can be more comfortable at times.

- OOC activity: please be active in the ooc chat. I don't require you to socialize or post every day, but interaction keeps roleplays alive, and it lets people know you're still here.


I am the GM and I am the Dungeon Master. I expect many battles and drama. I will conjure monsters along the journey and role play as them. I shall role play as every NPC so that nobody knows what is going to happen in the future, thus maintaining the suspense of not knowing what is going to happen.

You don’t need to type long and lots of paragraph. Imagine yourself as the characters and write on how you’d react and wait for someone else to post. If a character interacted or asked you something, respond to it. Just write what your character would do and say. Be your character. If you think that your character could only say "yes" or "no" in a post, just post it and then wait for someone else to post.

When your character enters a new area, I shall write what your character will see because the stage is already set.


It seems that people prefer to have teleportation and summoning abilities so I’ll allow it but there is going to be a rule for it.

The rules for teleportation and summoning in Daughtris:

Summoning and teleportation is considered controlling the time and space. To control that, you need to manipulate and combine all the elements into one. So in order to use that ability, a lot of energy or a rare item is required. Remember; using spells require mana, not Ki. If your characters are Ki user, he or she will have to use an energy or device of some sort.

You can only have your character teleported back to where he had placed a sigil in the past. To place a sigil, someone will have to travel to that place first. You can summon things and people to your side but in a battle; you need to have a success charge to be able to use that ability.

Arkantos tried to pull back his katana. Without any results, he decided to leave the sword and fall back before the situation could get bad for him. He didn't expect that action but he had to admit it was quite clever: Arkantos looked at the beast-man as he unsheathed his second katana. It would be impossible to win that creature in strength, but he was pretty slow in movement: this was the key to win the battle, atleast by Arkantos. He looked at the beast and quickly gained an attack stance, inviting the beast to attack.

While Arkantos faltered, the goat beast-man pulled out the katana out from his body, groaning from the pain. More blood spurted out of the now open wound. He now had both eyes set on Arkantos, seeing the Clearwoodian assassin has already set footing on the ground with his Katana drawn, ready to intercept attacks. With his left hand pressing on the open wound, the goat beast-man unsheathed his axe with the other. Instead of attacking, his axe moved towards the terminal of the airship in attempt to activate the alarm and warn his fellow crew of pirates.

In Zephyr's piloting station, Captain Neil and the pirate's captain met face to face. All of Zephyr's crew is gathered in the piloting station, guarded by the pirate subordinates.

"So," said the pirate captain, "what does a rusty metal airship like this have to offer, hmm?" queried the captain.

Captain Neil eyes did not met the pirate captain. Instead, he looked blankly forward. "Zephyr is just a low cost transport airship. You won't find anything of value here."

"Oh really? Then what is this?" he waved an object over Captain Neil's gaze. It was the Cerberus explosive. "My crew found these in your airship's weapon storage. Explosives like these aren't cheap."

Captain Neil's expression remained unchanged. He only hopes that Arkantos doesn't fail them.

Arkantos looked at his katana, Dawn, arc and fall on the metallic floor. "What in the name..." Arkantos muttered while looking at the beast and finally realize the beast-man's plan. Arkantos seemed to loose control for half second: these beast-men weren't that dumb. I underestimated them, huh? Arkantos thought, taking out a small aerodynamic dagger, built to be thrown at medium range and with transcendental precision. "Maim the beast" He said while targeting the beast's right hand and throwing the dagger. "Too scared to face a little human alone?"

The axe dropped on the floor with a clanking sound as the goat beast-man howled in pain, looking at his hand with the dagger still lodged in. Then alarmed voices in goat beast-man's language could be heard coming from the airship's corridor outside the piloting station. Sounds of fast foot steps followed after.

Mund began to plummet to his own death. he assumed he would die. As far as he knew there was not town, not city, nothing below. No one to save him. Mund would want Rasbar to save Clanwind, but then again, a captain always goes down with his ship. Mund would be no different. Mund did nothing. He let himself enjoy the descent once again. the air tearing at his face making his eyes water. his limbs behind him and face towards ground he plummeted. He was accepting his fate, it was cruel, but it was real. Mund wouldn't complain that he was going to die.

"Today's a good day to die brothers!" Guy shouted to the militia of Clansmen. Guy walked back and forth in front of the small army braced for battle with the vile Dracains. Mund wouldn't let them take his island. The Echanii wouldn't win. They couldn't. ``It`s a good day to die! Be ready to die! For your family, for your home!`` Guy raised his ax to the air an released a blood churning war cry. Mund and the other Clansmen did the same.

Rasbar saw that they were defeated. But not for long. ``Descend.`` Rasbar said. A siren rang through the air. The cold stale air rung with that erie siren as the crew all rushed to strap themselves in. Then in thirty seconds the ship stopped and began to plummet. Their pursuers may just think they will crash and die and let that happen, nobody would be stupid enough to pursue a ship travelling that fast strait down. It would be a death wish.

The three Afukira military airships mimicked the movement of Clanwind and descended down, matching it's speed and attempted to block it's path out of the spell nullifying sigil. "The raider's airship is not slowing down, sir." informed the Afukiran crew member to the captain.
"Slow our airships down just before we meet a thousand meters off the ground, but make sure to block them if they try and maneuver below or above our airships," ordered the captain. "But for now, fire the lasers at them!"
"Firing lasers!" exclaimed the crew members
All three Afukira military airships shot multiple red lasers at Clanwind using their artilleries. The laser's speed are as fast as lightning, meant to hit its target before even producing any sound. The lasers would at least cause turbulence and difficulty in Clanwind's flight.

Bullseye... Literally! Arkantos heard the beast howl and saw it stepping away from the panel. Few moments later, Arkantos heard the sound of hooves stomping the metal floor toward him. Arkantos was surprised since he didn't heard any alarms... But Then, he noticed how loud was the howl of the goat. "Oh... I never thought you beastmen are mobile alarms... Well, I believe I have to go now..." Arkantos said while rushing toward the beast and delivering a kick followed by a quick sword slash both aimed at the goat beast-man's arm holding the wound inflicted by the second katana. Then, he managed to get out Dawn from the floor. "Oh, before I leave, you better try to die. For your friends I'll have an ace up the sleeves." Arkantos picked up the axe and drenched it with the blood of the second goat beast-man and placed it near the small goat beast-man. After that action, Arkantos ran away from the terminal and checked inside his bag for smoke curtains.

Two more goat beast-men entered the piloting station and was shocked to see tree off their comrades injured. A bloody axe was on the floor but they couldn't make out whose was it. The large goat beast-man was on the floor, laying unconscious in his own pool of blood, hanging by a single thread of life. While one of the goat beast-man took a look around the piloting station, the other helped his injured comrades, healing their wounds with a healing potion and regaining their consciousness.

Rasbar sighed. He could see Clanwinds impending doom. "Flee." Rasbar said. That was the command for abandon ship. The raiders would man air speeders, like flying motorcycles and fly off in all different directions.

Mund kept falling. Maybe someone there would save him. "Help!" Mund shouted as loud as possible, he couldn't hear himself because of the air rushing past him. He sent out a mental cry for help, but he didn't know if it would be answered.

The shooting from the three airships of Afukira shook Clanwind terribly when the lasers collided with the barriers. When the shields was destroyed, the lasers proceeded to pierce through the walls and also some people.
"Their escaping with multiple smaller crafts, sir," informed the crew member.
"launch the homing missiles at them."
"Yes, sir." After locking on to the smaller aircrafts, the missiles was launched while the lasers continued to barrage Clanwind. A minute later, Clanwind caught fire, followed by an explosion which reduced Clanwind to variety of small pieces of scrap metal. The homing missiles hit one of its target, causing a large explosion which destroyed the aircraft instantly. The rest of the homing missiles chased after their other targets.
"Redirect the lasers to the aircrafts," ordered the captain.
"Redirecting lasers," stated the crew member.
At last, some of the aircrafts manage to escape the spell nullifying sigil.

A few meters of the ground, Milla, a pink furred rabbit beast-woman was riding her sky hippopotamus to the next town to sell her wares. The explosion from above attracted her attention to the sky. She saw the battle of airships and aircrafts. What was more surprising was the large man who was falling. She watched him, studying him with her eyes, thinking that Mund had his own way of landing properly. When Mund didn't slow down, it rose the feeling of worry in her.
"Go Pompomi!" she instructed the hippo. The hippo flew up towards Mund. When it reached Mund, it descended at the same speed as him and caught him on its back. Mund's large body and heavy weight troubled the bison but it managed to carry Mund nonetheless and landed on the desert ground. A minute later, bits and pieces from the explosion above reached the ground. Fortunately, they were far away from where it hit. What shocked Milla was, among the metals and shattered wood, there were also limbs and body parts. She also noticed that large man that Pompomi rescued was bounded by shackles and a restricting collar. "What have I gotten myself into?" she voiced out her thought.
