Bella Hemmingway's Story

Mitei had rose late from her early bedtime that she had the previous night, she knew why she did so, she drained her Mana lately and was hurting herself because of it. She was sitting up in almost a panic from the nightmare she had that night, she was short of breath and looked terrified. Mitei looked at Reiko's bed, she had already left and was probably up on the upper deck since she liked it up there. Quickly Mitei rose and washed her face off so she didn't look as bad. She looked at her face and she was paler than usual, it was slight, but noticeable. She walked back into her room and changed out from her usual clothes into an outfit she liked,
She didn't care if others didn't like them, because to her, they can go to hell. As she was walking out she Heard Bella's announcement and went to the dining room to eat breakfast. She wasn't hungry to say, but she needed the energy. As she goth there Reiko had just arrived, she had sat next to Reiko and looked at the table.

Bella waved and smiled at Reiko as she saw arrived. Gabe helped Bella with her seat and sat next to her on the dining table. Not long then Mitei came through the dining room door. Bella did the same gesture while Gabe nodded at the young woman.

"Should we wait for the others?" Gabe questioned

The carrier finally descended into the ground. Medics started to pour out, they were everywhere, taking care of wounded soldiers as well as citizens. Myria stepped outside, the ground general approached her and spoke "Its over my lady, we've won", she looked at him, trying to hide her happiness "it may be so but how long will it be until there are others?" Myria examined the field, looking in every direction trying to figure our what had happened. The two airships were burning outside of town, more crew ran out of the carrier to try and calm the fire. The citizens were peering through their windows trying to figure our what had happened. Her radio crackled and a man spoke "All clear" he said. She smiled and stood in the town center, someone ran out and brought her a speaker and microphone. She spoke loud and clear. "We have won. There is nothing to fear, you can come out of your homes, your king has sent forced to your help, and we succeeded in driving Sylverana off." within seconds hundreds of civilians ran out of their homes, cheering and clapping. All hail the king they were yelling. Myria couldn't help but laugh. When the last of the wounded was on the carrier and the last soldier boarded myria was ready to leave. Looking back and what had happened. The broken airships were left in place, no doubt the citizens would create some sort of monument or building out of the broken ships. The mayor ran up to Myria, "Thank you my lady, everyone here thanks you." Myria looked at the man "Thank your king." she walked away then stopped "Your town is on the edge of lightwakes continent, King Kage is going to build defenses and send troops all around the outer edges of Lightwake. I hope you don't mind?" the man stuttered "No, no my lady! we will being to build homes for troops, no one will get inside light wake anymore." she nodded and walking inside the airship.

Entering the ship was followed by more clapping and cheering. Myria couldn't get her mind off something, where did Sylverana go? It didn't matter to her at the moment. People ran out of their temporary quarters with champagne and beer to celebrate the recent victory. Myria made a toast and the drank. They arrived in the capitol after about an hour, the carrier was slower then the airship. The radio crackled, "Prepare to board" the ship landed on the runway and engineers ran everywhere to see if there was demage to be fixed. The doors opened and Myria walked out, she was immediately greeted by Kage "Dear sister!" He laughed "Your victory i sure something to remember, Come, we have things to discuss" Myria followed him.

Kage walked and sat on his throne. There were a few people in the hall, he told them to being construction. He looked at Myria "Let me tell you what were doing, all around the outer edges of Lightwake were going to build outpost's, with gunners and cannons and the top of the towers, no enemy will enter Lightwake for as long as I live." Myria looked at him "I would've done the same" he looked at the contractors still in the hall and waved them off, they bowed and left. "Now for more pressing matters. I am going to announce my claim to Vanesh's throne today, announce myself as his son. I'm going to announce that there will be no more territory disputes, i'm prepared to take care of brothers and sisters. Oh and i'm going to send troops to aid with the destruction of bahamut.

After that a TV crew ran in, cameras and computers were placed on the throne. After a few minutes of preparations it was ready. A man at the console said that he would be able to hack the Daughtris TV's only for a short while, only until the end of the speech. Then a man yelled action and the cameras were on Kage. "People of Daughtris, you are all probably wondering why you're seeing me on today, I have an important message to announce. My name is Kage, King of lightwake. I'm here to announce my claim to Vanesh's throne for the reason of being his son." Everyone in the throne room were in shock "Today i have successfully fend off an attack by my sister, Sylverana. Furthermore, with this message i announce that the fight to rule daughtris will end today, i will personally take to it that my brothers and sisters are back to their town and everyone else is left alone. The next message is to the Avory ship. I will come to your aid, i will send my best commander, Myria, my sister. That would be all" He waved his hand and the man at the console said that in a few seconds the message will air all around Daughtris. Even in airships.

When Rixator got the call for breakfast, he was meditating outside on the airship's deck, the dark sand in the formation of the planets and stars around him. Eyes shut and in a position suspended in the air by more solid sands, he seemed tranquil and almost godlike, until the call came. One eye popped open as he listened, then the other, the sands retreating into nothingness as he lighted onto his bare feet. Adorned with only a sleeveless shirt, dark baggy pants, and a sash bearing his clan's symbol, he was extremely different from his normal, hidden guise. Wavy black hair shifting with the breeze as he walked, the tan male scratched at his cheek as he walked to the railing to look out into the distance.

It was when he looked down that he noticed the news crew below; a young woman with a few others. All he heard was something about possibly getting aboard, and that was all the invitation Rixator Falmona needed, conjuring up a thick and compact cloud of dark sand, which he rode down to ground level. He planned to approach this news crew and question them; Rixator knew that one had to be wary in who was trusted when it came to war.

Ringo started to dream of his past.

He saw a cloaked figure with a mask on the figure was saying “You think you have a chance of all the children Solomon, you are the runt you have no special skills. Go run and hide if we ever meet after the battle starts I will kill you.”

The vision changed to the cave he had woke up in. There were many followers bowing to him suddenly they all started glowing at the eyes and mouth and the life was ripped from them molding into an orb. Then the orb spoke in Tony’s voice “You have called the lord of gluttony but you have not the strength to control me and you have protections so I can’t control you, I’m guessing you want me to kill someone” he heard his voice “no I want your help to kill my siblings and rule the kingdom” the orb laughed “well then I think that we will have to make a trade, this will profit both of us we will meld souls it will take time but once it happens I will kill your family and you will free one of the celestial kings” then as he reached for the orb he woke up.

He unwrapped Tony and asked him what a celestial king was Tony grinned and said “your remembering good, well to your mind it would be a dark god, remember when you said your gods were celestials that’s quite true except these gods will kill the old ones. Except they are like eggs you eat one you become the new one, I would say somewhere the dragon you’re hunting ate one” the speakers announced breakfast and he wrapped Tony up so that he could not say anything that would get him killed. He would have to announce this to the others not all of it just enough that there would be no surprises if Tony opened his big mouth. He walked into the kitchen in time t hear Gabe say “should we wait for everyone else?” He walked in sat down and said “ok, what’s for breakfast I say we eat before we get down to business that way we don’t lose our appetite if we get upset by any bad news you’re going to give us.”

Mitei nodded as she saw Ringo come in, "It'd be polite to wait for the others before we eat." she said as she crossed her arms and looked down a bit, "So we don't looke like ignorant people to our allies." Reiko nodded as Mitei spoke since she was in agreement, she looked over to Mitei and noticed how pale she was getting. She thought and remembered the last time it had happened. When she nearly killed herself from mana drain she was worried about that, since, her sister did almost die from that and is feeling it again. She rose , "I need to go think for a few minutes." she said hesitantly as she left, 'How could I let that slip again?!' she thought as she walked off an leaned against the wall, 'She's been bending over backwards fighting for my protection and mana transfers.' she punched the wall causing a small clank, "Damnit!" she yelped as she had hit the wall. She had to stop Mitei from using any more mana for a while. And she knew how.

There was chaos in the throne room people ran all around doing various tasks for the king. The king made one final trip to bedroom. He hugged her. He smiled at her, it was a warm moment, one that might not happen again for a long while. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. He spoke softly and calmly "I'll be back before you know it. But its something i have to do." He glanced around the room looking at his children. He approached them and embraced them, the younger one was weeping. "Now you listen to your mom" he said as he walked back to his wife. He gave her one last kiss just as a steward knocked on the door. "Are you ready sire?" Kage looked at the scrawny steward and said "Yes" with a more harsh tone, to show authority. He gave one last look, "Listen to Syrion, hes one of my best." and like that he was off.

Myria was in the control room with dozens of generals. She was frantic at preparations. Kage was about to send off 5 destroyers, a bomber, and a few more carriers. The bomber and 4 airship destroyers will be going around driving back his brothers and sisters, while the last airship and a few carriers will go help the cause aboard the Avory ship. Kage made sure to leave lot's of power at the home metropolis for any attacks. The wall was going to be built as an extra precaution. Myria will board the ship being sent to the Avory ship and command those forces, while the king himself will lead any attacks with the fleet he commands. Soldiers boarded carriers and airship's, ranks of generals and cew boarded the bomber. There was chaos in the hanger, but also in the Control room.

After a few hours everything was ready to go, Myria and Kage met with Syrion, the general who is left to take care of lightwake. "Make sure my family is watched and no one gets through are borders." Kage said, "Will do my lord." The man replied and saluted his king. Myria and Kage walked to their selective ships, "Be carefull sister" he said as he was boarding "Oh brother, your the one to be careful!" she said laughing lightly. The first fleet boarded and flew off, Myria's ships waited until the fleet was gone to send off her carriers and single airship. Once Kage was out of sight Myria gave the signal, and they were off.

On Kages ship the destination wasn't clear yet, but he knew that it would take a day to leave lightwake territory. Myria left off in the direction of the Avory ship. Myria needed to get there fast, so she didn't mind exhausting the overdrive. She put the airship and carriers in overdrive and within an hour they were in view of the Avory ship. She spoke to whoever heard her on the giant ship in-front of her "Permission to board, reinforcements from Kage, King of lightwake" she waited for the permission.

Gabe sigh and stared at the ceiling when Ringo came in. He felt his anger coming back but quickly took a deep breathe and relaxed. Just like that, his anger slowly disappeared.

"Well... only Rixator is left" Gabe said as he lay his back to his chair and held his hands together, close to his chest "I'll try contacting him through the communicator". Gabe took out his communicator from his shirt's pocket and held it near his mouth "Calling Rixator... Calling Rixator"

In the dining room, Gabe sighed. He has been sighing a lot since they started their quest and it was starting to be a bad habit. It was taking Rixator a long time to get there. Reiko has left moments ago to do something but hasn't came back. Gabe looked at Mitei and Ringo then to Bella.

"We should start eating... the food is getting cold" He said to Bella with a smile

Bella smiled back and nodded at Gabe. She turned her head to look at Mitei and Ringo then spoke "well, let us start. The two can start right away when they arrive"

Reiko saw the woman struggle, "Well if thats the order you've been given" she said as she looked at her, "Wait..." she said. Meanwhile over where Mitei was, she had risen from her chair and turned to the door, "I'm gonna go get my sister" she said as she walked out seeing a Demon-like human run by, "What the...?" she asked as she gave chase.

With great skills of stealth, the real body of Aya managed to get into the airship. Inside, the drew a quick sigil and summoned one of her video camera. The camera was set to invisible and it followed her around as she ran across the corridor of the airship, looking through every door to find the princess. When she reached the dining room's door, Mitei was looking directly at her. Aya reacted as how any normal person would react. She stared back at Mitei then to the people behind her. She bowed slightly, showing respect while hiding a smirk.

"my name is Aya and I am a reporter" She introduced herself and continued to greet "Good morning to everyone"

Mitei nodded, "I see you're a reporter, but it is unwise to be here" she said almost irritatedly as she saw the camera, "And if you are going to be here" she aid as she took the camera, "I'll be taking this." she was annoyed by the sudden creature's presence, to the point that she damn near broke the camera that she had in her hand, she decided to send a minor electrical current through it to fry the tech inside it. She then stopped the creature gain, "If you want an Audience, you'll have to check it with my ally first." she said as she made sure that the woman-thing could not get through.

Gabe jumped in shock when Aya introduced herself and claimed to be a reporter. Fear fills him that their intention on finding the gods and goddesses might be jeopardized. He quickly moved from his seat to Mitei's side, frowning.

"Why is a reporter here?" Gabe questioned, unintentionally filled a little hint of rage in his tone.

Bella looked at Mitei which had grabbed the invisible video camera and destroyed it with her lightning element ability. The video cam became visible once more after it was broken. Bella could help but feel a little excited seeing how Mitei could know that there was an invisible video camera hanging about Aya the reporter. In that moment, Bella decided that later, she would ask Mitei whether she would want to be her teacher, but for now, it's time to deal with the reporter.

"How is the progress of the search of the gods and goddesses? Were you able to find any of them by now?" Aya questioned directed towards everyone

The thing that Gabe dreaded would happen has happened. If one reporter knows of their quest, everyone in the world would probably know it by now. Even the children of Venash. Gabe was stunned, speechless.

Mitei glared at the reporter, "That is information that isn't of your concern!" She snapped taking aim at the reporter with a thunder charged, "And if you continue to prod about this I will put you down myself!" Mitei was FURIOUS about this "reporter" asking about on what they've done since to be exact, who the hell does she think she is?! Mitei was fet up with this reporter, "Out you go." she said as she lifted the reporter, "Now I'm done with this!" she said as she put the woman on her shoulder, "I'm gonna go dispose of the trash here."

"oof!" The air was knock out off Aya. This is the second time today this has happened to her. She sighed and let herself be carried. A frown appeared before she raised one of her hand near her ear which had an earpiece. Her expression turn to look surprised. While still on Mitei's shoulder, she tilted her head sideways and looked at Gabe which was beside Mitei.

"The pilot of my news helicopter just told me something... It seems that there is one Lightwake's aircraft near this airship. It seems to be sending flares up to signal of their existence..."

Gabe's eye widened. "What?!" He said surprised before turning to the group. "we should check that out"

Bella took her eyes off Mitei and looked at Gabe with a feeling of panic. She nodded, rose from her seat, and quickly ran with him, following the corridor to the upper deck.

Aya pushed herself out of Mitei's hold and rolled down the dining room's floor. She smirked at her before running pass her, out the door.

When Rixator passed the fake Aya to Reiko, Reiko did not receive her. She quickly got loose from Rixator's hands and ran away in to the airship.

Gabe and Bella finally reached the deck. The fake Aya and Reiko passed them but they had other important matter to attend to. There was a news helicopter on the deck and a flare shining up the sky. Quickly, they ran beside Rixator and watched the Lightwake's ship.

"I don't think they are here to fight, Rixator" Gabe said while leaning on the railing of the airship and paused for a second before he continued "Lightwake has been a friend of Avory for a long time. they must have heard about our search for the gods and goddesses" He explained before running to the nearest airship's P.A system board.

"Lightwake's Cavalry. You may board our ship" Gabe voice echoed from the airship's speaker when he spoke through the P.A system.

Meanwhile, downstairs, The real Aya was running away from Mitei and had stumbled across the other Aya along with Reiko. The real Aya free ranup the walls to the ceiling and grabbed the fake Aya's hand, pulling her up to the ceiling. They both hung there for a second before sprinting along the ceiling towards the door leading back to the upper deck.

"Actually there isn't any captain. The airship is on AI" Gabe explained and paused for a second before speaking once more "You are Myria, one of Lightwake's general, aren't you?" He questioned

Mitei saw the reporter run on the ceiling, "Oh now it runs on the ceiling?" she asked as she and Reiko stopped, "No point running after a breaker of physics..." she said as she walked up to the bridge where she saw one whom looked like a general, she just couldn't put the face to the name. Soon Reiko caught up with Mitei and saw the Lightwake general in the bridge, "Well at least she's friendly..." she sighed in relief so she could protect Mitei, since Mitei's mana is beyond drained, and drains the whole body. She was more shocked at the general and bowed with Mitei as a sign of respect, "Sorry to interrupt, We're searching for a nuisance" Mitei said apologetically as she rose.

Gabe looked at the one Lightwake's airship and two carriers beside their airship that Myria mentioned. While the Avory airship they were on was a mobile home, Gabe could see that the Lightwake's are meant for battle. Gabe and Bella started their quest hoping to find the gods and goddesses in peace with only some battle from hostile animals and the usual pirates but now that the whole world knows of their quest, danger may arise from mostly everywhere. The children of Venash may attack them, more pirates may come to rob them, curious people would come just to see, more reporters would arise to ask questions. The small army that Lightwake has presented them would be useful but it would be hard to hide with large quantity of creature and air-vehicles around them. Navigation of the airship would be difficult. Gabe ruffled his hair and sighs.

"Well Bella, what do you think?" He asked Bella.

Bella switched her gaze from Myria to Gabe. She shook her head knowing not what to do and a little panicked. That was when a flash of soft blue and white light shined in the middle of the deck. When the flash dimmed and fade, two large sized glowing women appeared, hovering in mid air. One of them had glowing blonde haired and wore a white dress which was glowing softly while the other had hair that kept changing color and wore too little clothing. It was Hikari, the goddess of Light and Undine, the goddess of water. Hikari had a serious face on while Undine had a friendly smile.

"Greetings" Hikari spoke while she descended down to the floor of the airship's deck.

Reiko nodded to Undine as a hello and Mitei just looked away to not get involved, she had not much say on this type of stuff to her, Reiko did since she soul-bonded with Undine. Reiko stepped up next to Mitei clutching her arm, she hated to say, but Reiko depended on Mitei since Reiko's ability is more passive and defensive than Mitei's high calibur offensive black magic, and her judgment bolt isn't something to laugh at. Mitei looked over at Reiko and just stood there looking at the others. Waiting for the communication to start.
