Undine's Story

Undine wiped her eyes and stood up. No words came out of her mouth. Only a sigh was escaped as she looked down to the ground before turning around. “There is nothing more we can do here” Undine said “let us go back and regroup with the others”

Bryce’s false hope has disappointed him. For a moment, he was silent. Then, bowed down and spoke “the followers of Shiva, shall be waiting for you and your companions to return, Goddess Undine”

Mitei nodded, she was upset by her failed mission, " Thank you for your assistance when you could " she said as she bowed slightly before walking back to Undine not sure how to get out. She looked over at Shiva and nodded before Reiko just linked arms with her since she could. They waited fro Undine or someone to bring them back to the altar.

Bryce guided the twins and the goddess back to the main hall of the Temple of Shiva where he teleported them back to the altar they before. Undine was non-speaking since she, Reiko, and Mitei left the goddess of Ice. No smile could be seen from her, an unusual sight as the goddess of Water usually put on a friendly cheering smile.

Once they reached the altar, Undine frowned. The frigid coldness of the mountain is starting to freeze her. Seeking for warmth, she walked slightly faster through the waist deep snow and ice storm to get to the small aircraft which was parked a few feet from the altar, leaving Reiko and Undine behind her, under the altar. The hatch opened automatically and Undine started to jump in. That was when frozen ice started to spread from the craft. Still disoriented after the upsetting sight of Shiva, Undine wasn’t fast to react properly. She only managed to cover her face with her arms in reflex but it did nothing. She and the craft was already encased in ice, frozen.

The storm is just what a right hand man of a mad scientist needed to conceal himself from the sight of the group and do a surprise attack. With amazing speed, great skill of controlling Ki and care, Ora Yue soundlessly dashed to Mitei’s back and thrust his electric taser blade with fast as a moving bullet’s speed towards the mage’s rib. The electric taser blade would shock Mitei with incredible electrical surge and cause her to fall unconscious if it touched her even the slightest.

Mitei noticed the spark and almost immediately jumped and sent a Judgement bolt at the attacker, she didn't know or really care if she hit, she just wanted to show her strength to intimidate the enemy, she noticed the person, " Reiko, go get Undine, I'll handle this. " she said as Reiko nodded and ran to the Ice block controlling the Fire Mitei conjured before she ran to assist. Mitei looked at Ora, " Well Ora, still being Gen's lapdog? " she said smirking a bit knowing she's just trying to piss him off, since she knew Ora hated Mana users, the fight though, was going to be a pain to her since Ora's a fast bugger. All she could do was charge a bit so if she hit, she can at the least immobilize.

Because he already in a momentum of thrusting his blade, Ora wasn’t able to dodge the spells from Mitei and were hit with the judgement bolt, staggering him for a second. Fortunately, the spell from Mitei wasn’t casted properly enough to do any real damage to the demon. Thanks to the great durability that most Daughtrisians have, Ora Yue was able to stand upright and still, turning his head towards his opponent.

“It seems that the military training serve you well, Mitei” Ora said while watching Reiko jolted to help Undine “I am surprised you were able to move fast… for a mage”

Without waiting for a reply, the dark haired demon suddenly dashed forward through the waist deep snow. It didn’t slow down his movement but it probably would slow down Mitei’s. The freezing temperature and snow storm of the mountain didn’t bother Ora as he had already gulped down a bottle of potion to resist cold condition. When the distance between him and Mitei were only a few inch, he feign an attack. He faked a thrust attack towards her and in the last minute, dashed passed her, towards Reiko who was in attempt to free Undine and swung his electric tazer blade in an arc at the unsuspecting victim. If the blade make even the slightest contact with Reiko, she would instantly fall unconscious

Mitei knew the feign since she's fought Ora before, "No you don't!" she yelled as she sent a Firaga after Ora, which Made Reiko notice and move out of the way of the swing and fireball. Reiko stayed a distance away and Mitei soon joined her, " Nice try. " she said smiling with a cocky tone, " W- Who are you? " Reiko asked curiously, " I... Thought you could... Introduce... yourself... " she said quite nervously, Mitei prepared another attack though.

It was a little troublesome how Mitei could immediately cast any spells without any delay but Ora were already prepared for it. His reaction to the fireball was jumping up, rolling in the air, and avoiding the fireball. Reiko managed to dodge both his blade and the Firaga spell. By now, the two has already joined together once more.

"W- Who are you? ”Reiko asked curiously, " I... Thought you could... Introduce... yourself... ”she said quite nervously.

No answer was given by the demon. While still in mid-air, Ora spread his arms and released thirty small white spheres to blend in with the falling snow. The spheres were actually high voltage thunder device and it moved fast to surround the twins. If the twins were to move around carelessly, they may hit the spheres and get knock unconscious.

Ora Yue’s mission is not to kill the two but to capture Mitei. Now frowning of the trouble he has to go through, he threw four kunai from his left hand and four more from his right to force the girls to move. Hopefully, they would collide with the high voltage thunder devices.

Meanwhile, the block of ice that was encasing Undine cracked a little.

[OOC: by now, Mitei and Reiko are already surrounded by thirty small and round devices that release electricity. The spheres are hard to see because of the snow storm. If the twins were to jump left, right, or up to dodge the 8 throwing daggers that Ora threw, there is a high chance that they would get shocked]

Mitei laughed, "Throwing your kunai's again?" she asked as shesent a few ice spells to knock them around and off course, "Reiko, I suggest not moving, the balls he just threw are of high voltage." she said as Reiko nodded before speaking again, "How rude of this man, throwing things like a chile, and not even introducing himself?' she said mockingly as she raised her nose to him to taunt, Soon Mitei responded to Ora attacking, another Firaga, except she added a Judgement bolt after to make it explode and have a large area to hit by, it was all she could do since she couldn't move much.

{OOC: Mitei is smart enough that she knows Ora's tactics while she was brainwashed by Gen, she knows Ora's fighting style (mostly) and has the capability to stop projectiles from hitting her with her training.}

Ora didn’t expect the fireball to combust when it was hit by lightning. The force sent him flying backwards and hitting the thick snow underneath, bouncing helplessly twice on the ground. He managed to flip his body just in time to land his feet on the altar’s column and pushed himself off it to the deep snow which caused a white explosion, concealing the demon from the twins. When direct attack wasn’t working, it was time to change to stealth once more. Making sure that he was out of the twins view, Ora jumped high up. While once again in mid-air, he placed his hand on circular device with a hole which was hung on his hips. The device was a dimensional bag which could store a lot of thing. One of those things was a pair of heat vision goggles. He took them out and dashed to the sky behind the twins. Still hidden by the snow storm, with the help of the heat vision goggles, he shot electric wires from a watch like device on his wrist. By controlling the wires using his Ki, he was able to move the wire in an arc, surrounding the twins. When the wires made a triple loops around the twins, he pulled it to tie them up and shock them in the same time.

[OOC: Ora is hidden in the snow storm. His body isn’t effect by the cold condition of the place because he consumed a potion to resist cold. While hidden, he attempted to tie the girls up with electric wires. The electric spheres are still around the girls]

Mitei noticed the wire, "Gale Winds!" she yelled as a torrent of wind surrounded her and Reiko blowing away basically anything not bolted down and doesn't weigh more than about ninety pounds, now Mitei knew that she'll be able to move more freely and she charged, she was going to find Ora in this blizzard or so help her she'll take the mountain with her. She looked around, and finally felt something inside of her, and this she smiled to, she had revealed a new ability, and almost immediately changed her -Spirit Bomb- Firaga to the new spell, "Devine god of the space, I call upon you to lend me your strength." she said in a murmur as she charged and soon yelled, "Stars! Rain down upon my foe!" she yelled as the clouds separated around her area stopping the storm and she saw her target, "Meteor!!" she yelled as meteors rained down at Ora.

Ora separated the wires from him as once again his attempt failed. He sigh before looking up, noticing the multiple massive meteors falling from the sky. It isn’t something that escape someone’s sight especially when it is only a few hundreds meter up. While still in mid-air, he unsheathed both his katanas and free fall motionless. Three seconds later, a blinding flash was produced by his lightning fast wielding. Multiple blue coloured forces from the slashes was headed towards the meteors and suddenly disappeared when they were a few feet close to it. Nothing happened. Ora landed gracefully on the snow in a crouching position. He stood up and sheathed back his weapons. Suddenly, the meteors in the sky exploded into smaller meteors which landed on the mountain but missing Ora completely. It did not damage to the demon but the snow storm had stopped. No more snow was falling from the sky in the mountains. Ora were no longer hidden. He turned around, looking straight at the twins.

[OOC: Okay, next time, we are using the battle system to fight… No one is getting beaten up without it O_O … BTW isn’t Mitei’s MP supposed to be depleted by now~ You said she only had a small amount of MP left >:-3]

Mitaei looked at Ora, "Well... Thats unfortunate..." she said scoffing looking at the destruction she had caused. But she seemed content that the heat from the explosion had melted a good amount of snow and ice. She still glared at Ora, she was growing more tired due to her power spells being used constantly. She stood there and charged.

There was only the whistling sound of the wind and some crackling of the burning meteor as none of them spoke. Both he and the twins did no attempt to attack each other. A slight smile was given from Ora to the twins.

“You are getting better, Mitei” he said, still smiling “enjoy this short freedom of yours… you will be back with us sooner or later”

Without waiting for a respond, the right hand man of Gen leaped up where an upside down scooter swooped over to pick him up and flew away in a flash. In a blink of an eye, he was out of the sight.

A second later, the frozen Undine glowed bright in the block of ice that was encasing her and the aircraft. A loud roar could be heard before the ice shattered which sounded like a car crash. Tiny cubes of ice flew around. Fortunately, the aircraft doesn’t seem to be destroyed. A second later, another roar, but louder, could be heard before a full sized leviathan was seen spinning around in the free blue sky. It growled and looked around before locking its eyes on the twins.

“Where is he?!” A telepathic echo of growls from Undine could be heard, furious.

Mitei smiled, "We'll see about that Ora" she said as finally she was knocked off the aircraft by Undine whom seemed furious because of Ora, which Mitet responded, "I fought him off, if he comes back please do have at him, but I want the dog to tell his master of what happened." she said confidently as Reiko checked on Mitei from the battle, "A-are you okay Undine?" she asked as she helped Mitei get up.

The large leviathan roared once again, shaking the mountain. Blue light was collected in her mouth before she tilted her head up and shot high velocity water to the sky which parted the clouds. A few seconds later, droplets of water dropped from the sky, making it looked like it was raining. The leviathan also burst into tiny water droplets, joining the rain, melting the ice and killing the fire from the meteor on the mountain. Puddles replaced the ice and suddenly started to shape into a figure of a woman. When it fully took shape, it was revealed that it was Undine, looking pale and sad, non-speaking.

“let us go back to Woodacre…” She said while looking down to the ground.

Mitei nodded, "Yes..." she mumbled as she and Reiko walked into the airship with an upset expression. Mitei sighed a fair amount, "Damn... I can't believe we failed..." she muttered as she flew throughout the mountain range and into a plained area of Lightwake, "Well... It wasn't exactly our fault Mitei. We can't melt the ice" Reiko responded as Mitei nodded, "unfortunately..." Mitei mumbled as she flew.

Undine did not say anything along the way flying back to Woodacre via aircraft with Mitei as the pilot, her sad eyes looking out through the window, thinking of what happened to Shiva. If she only knew, she would attempt to find Sylph earlier. The twins seem to be minding their own business. It’s as if the goddess wasn’t there at all. Undine thinks they would not even notice if she suddenly disappeared, and that was just what she did. Clear water enveloped her and just like that, she was gone.

Undine was in her cave near Amara. She heard Reiko calling. Still not in a good mood. Her body changed shape into water and moved to the healing spring. she teleported herself to the waters where Reiko is and saw everything. The twins didn't even talk to her much in the past, she could not consider herself good friends with them. At that moment, she questioned herself.

Are they worth helping?

~Twins: Reiko
Reiko noticed Ora was moving, "I'm not falling for that!" she yelled as she pulled the water drill towards Ora, "You're not getting away!" she yelled as she pulled out her bow and fired several arrows towards Ora, leading him as she charged over the water she noticed Undine, and nodded, "Thanks for being here at the least." she said towards her as she noticed the blinding light of Hikari, she looked away, and dove herself into the water, "I'm sorry... For not talking to you much..." she said with a nervous tone.

~Twins: Mitei
Mitei noticed the attacks and blocked a couple with her staff, though, one hot through and hit her clothers she noticed the Sigil and now was even more pissed, "You aren't going to let that happen!" she yelled as she started her Blizaraga.

~Lufia
Lufia noticed that Mitei was surrounded, he now rose and charged, "Hell no!" he yelled as he fired three arrows at the circle of red demons, and then began throwing knives for the finishing kill to the circle, soon he had reached Mitei after slashing a home in the circle from behind and swept her up, "Time to fly" he said as he focused and soon jumped into the trees, hidden.

Lufia failed to escape and hide

Mitei's attempted to cast a Blizaraga spell failed as the sigil under her prevented the use of any kind of spells. Reiko redirected her giant water drill from hitting Mitei and headed towards Ora once more. He noticed the move and swung his katana, causing a sharp wave to shoot out and hit the giant water drill. The two attacks cancelled each other out. Ora continued to swung his katana, cutting off any arrows from Reiko. While doing so, he noticed some different kind of arrows that headed towards his men. Instinctively, he cut them off before they managed to hit. When he turned to look where the arrows came from, he saw a man continuing to throwing knives at his men. He also saw some of his men are already unconscious and Bella has been saved by Gabe.

"Careful men!" He warned "there are others helping the twins!"

But the warning was too late, the knives hit his men at the back, injuring them severely, causing the sigil to be disrupted. The attempt to bind Mitei has failed and she can now use her spells. Lufia jumped towards Mitei and carried her, attempting to get her away but Ora wasn't going to let them succeed easily. He would've cut them of with a barage of powerful sharp waves but fortunately for Mitei, he needed her alive. Ora dashed in Lufia's way, cutting him off his track and barraged him with multiple lightning blade attack.

To heal themselves, the injured Red Demon's pulled the knives from their back and poured red potions over the wounds. In just seconds, they were all good as new.

"Let's try again, men!" the 2nd in command ordered

Once again, they casted the same sigil under Lufia, Mitei, and Ora, preventing the three from casting any spells. The light rise up from the sigil. In a second the binding process will occur.

"No!" Ora yelled to his men while exchanging blows with Lufia "teleport us to Pruwas, along with these two! We can't handle the goddesses and their comrades all at once!"

As much as he hated the use of mana, he knew it was needed to win this battle.

"Yes sir!" they all said in harmony and started the teleportation spell
