Doodle Burnes's Story

Doodle got off the bus, their plaid shoes hitting the pavement as they walked. A backpack was slung over their right shoulder, and Doodle avoided the eyes of people wondering whether they were a boy or a girl. Doodle didn't identify as either and felt like an outsider because of it.

Doodle walked inside the gym to hear announcements for the beginning of school, and took a seat in the back. Then Doodle opened the sketchbook and began to draw. Some boy tried to talk to them, but they didn't listen.



He got out of the car and walked inside, sitting down near the front of the gym. The announcements would start soon, and he hoped there were some new girls in town that didn't know about his reputation. No new girls walked inside yet, and he was beginning to doubt that there were new girls.

There was a person he hadn't seen in the back, but when he said hello to them, they wouldn't respond, just draw in their sketchbook.

Caryan sighted it was the first day of school always the most horrible day everything that could go down on southpark usually did and today wouldn't be different. He looked at the other students new faces that mean something certain, he walked his books tuck between his hands close to his chest. He looked down and made his way down to the edge of the gyms and sat down by himself watching the clock waiting for it to pass and for him to be allow to leave the gym and go to class. He saw the sketch book kid and smile faintly another new comer but this one seemed different like it had not decided what it was it wanted.

The boy attempting to talk to Doodle turned back around as the announcements started, and Doodle almost sighed with relief.

The principal explained the rules and soon everyone was released to class. Doodle walked out after everyone else, and went to class. Doodle wasn't paying attention and bumped into someone. Books flew everywhere.

"I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" Doodle held out her hand for the person on the ground. Was that a boy, or a girl? Doodle was confused as to the gender, but didn't say anything. It would be rude to say anything.


Gregory went to his first class, and sat down in a desk. There was a few minutes until the bell rang and class would begin. He took out a book and began reading.

Startle by the impact he scramble to pick up his books. He look at floor his nouvel was in there at plain sight he quickly pick it up and hid it under the rest of the books. He look up it was that other one the sketch person, " i..i.. no is my fault im sorry " he said picking up his books and left to his class leaving a book behind how to talk to people. He watched as he was late and the teacher didnt hesitate to make it clear he heckled him into the class and he sat down in the back chair next to the window. He looked outside another sunny day urgh too nice to bright and too perfect for something to spoiled.

Doodle finished picking up their books, and noticed a book that wasn't theirs. The title was "How to Talk to People". The person realized that it was the other's that they bumped into. They picked up the book and walked to class.

"Ah, you must be Ms. Kirsti! How nice of you to join us!" The teacher said sarcastically, and the class snickered. Doodle's face went red and Doodle felt anger boil inside of them as they looked the teacher in the eye.

"... I'm not a boy or a girl, and I'd prefer you just call me Doodle. That may not be my given name, but I am gender-neutral." Doodle said, and the class stopped snickering and looked at the person wide eyed.

The teacher went quiet, and Doodle scanned the room for the person they bumped into. Soon they saw the person, and they walked over, placed the book on their desk, and sat down in the desk in front of the person.

The teacher began speaking, and class started in the room. Doodle looked down at the sketch book and began drawing.

He saw the student and he blushed they were in the same class, the teacher being an ass like he was to him. He saw the book and smile happy he whisper thank you to the student. The class was getting started and just like that old magic southpark charm happen busting Through the door was a weird teen Blonde blue shirt" fellers fellers guess what " he yelled disregarding the teacher, he was all agitated " the new law is finally pass it means gree joints for everyone!!!" He said as the teachers and students began going while, he sighted it was starting something probably was going to come with this he just new it.

Doodle looked around at the students going crazy over the new drug law. "Dammit." They swore under their breath. Even the teacher was happy for the free joints of marijuana. Everyone, including the teacher, began rushing out the door to get free drugs.

Soon, there was nobody left in the school, and school was dismissed. Now Doodle began walking down the empty hallways of the school. Everyone was getting high, except for Doodle and a few others. Doodle now began to walk home.

" yeah this how it starts then something happens that's attached to this..." He whisper opening the small note book with scribbles all over the cover and began taking notes, " The last time weed was brought to south park it was accompanying with a certain disease.." He blushed thinking of the horrible joke that was, he stood up and continued walking home as school ended abruptly thanks to the new announcement. He watched as the drug was already taking its tolls everyone high mean everyone was mess up, cars flip people partying in the streets kid looking for their dads to come home an feed them, and then it was the 12 graders who love nothing more than get high and pick on the freshman, and now walking by himself home he was surely going to be a target.

Doodle finished walking Melody, their sister, home. Cars were flipped over outside, and everyone was smoking weed, plus school was cancelled for the next day. Wonderful. All thanks to some political dumbos who decided everyone smoking pot was okay. They unlocked the door and walked their sister inside from the bitterly cold, winter day. Now, Doodle was exhausted and shivering. They got a cup of hot chocolate and sat at the computer in their bedroom as they played a video game.

caryan hurried his speed as he tried to get home before anything could happen to him, he knew south park well things always went good before the catch made itself know he looked around vigilant of who may come his way.
