Charlotte lives with social anxiety, as well as a number of phobias. Because of the constant nagging voice in the back of her head, sheās never been much of a social butterfly. Although she may not appear shy, she always has a stoic facial expression and keeps to herself. Sheās not the easiest person to approach because she may come off as tough and dark. When meeting people for the first time, she rarely speaks, for she is afraid she may stutter or make a bad first impression. It isnāt until Char becomes very close friends with someone does she really open up, but until then, she is rather distant.
Once you break through Charās tough, silent exterior, you will find a very different person. Charlotte is amazingly kind and generous and will offer her help whenever she can. Even though sheās so helpful, she almost never accepts help due to her massive pride. Char is an amazing listener and is great at giving advice on almost anything. Sheās always had this motherly instinct to protect her friends and family.
Char is the purest definition of dorky. She loves to read and watch tv and movies and plays video games and spends a lot of her time blogging on tumblr. Sheās got anā¦ interesting sense of humor and absolutely loves making others laugh.
All of Charlotteās friends know that Char is extremely emotionally unstable. Its easy for her to get rather angry or break down into tears. The thought of being forced into an embarrassing public situation can send Charlotte into a full-blown panic attack.

āThere really isnāt much for me to say hereā¦ I had a genuinely normal childhood. I grew up in a rural area of Massachusetts, but I was only about a twenty minute drive from the city. I have a loving mother and father, with an older sister.
Growing up with anxiety was tough, but I really wouldnāt know was growing up without it is like. I meanā¦ I didnāt die! Iām still here! All is good.
My childhood was relatively normal, except for one thing. My neighbor had a big dog, a massive German Shepherd. Massive. One day I was playing around in the backyard, and I guess their dog got loose. To this day, I donāt know why it attacked me, it just did. It bit the spot connecting my shoulder and neck, an inch to the left and it wouldāve snapped my neck. My screams caught the attention of my parents inside. My dad ran outside and yanked the dog off of me, kicking and hitting it. He probably wouldāve killed it if it hadnāt ran away. I had to have dozens of stitches on my back, neck and shoulder. My parents wanted to press charges and have the dog euthanized, but even at my ripe age of twelve, I told them I didnāt want them to do those things. Ever since that day, Iāve been scared of dogs. Itās not like I start screaming when I see one, but I canāt relax if oneās around, and I refuse to touch them.
Other than that, everything else was uneventful. Well, except getting the invitation to this bucket-list-type-show-thing. It sounded like fun, but Iām still reallyā¦ nervous. I hope things will go well and I can make some new friendsā¦ā
