Phoenix Dragomir streatched as she got out of bed. She shivered as the cold air touched her skin. Her tank top and red shorts left her skin exposed to the cold air.
"Brrrr." Phoenix said as she sat in front of her vanity mirror. Phoenix pulled her hair out of her pony tail. She looked at her reflection as her calico kitten Kallie hopped onto the table top.
"Kallie how should I wear my hair?" Phoenix asked. Kallie looked at her and shook her head. Phoenix decided on putting her hair in a ponytail at the top of her head. Phoenix then got dressed in a black button-up t-shirt and a red mini skirt. She walked out over to her mirror again and started to apply her makeup. She dusted on foundation, some pink eyeshadow, mascara, and a soft pink lipstick. She then walked out of her room and looked at her mother.
"Good morning Mother." Phoenix said.
Her mother inclined her head.
"Your father and I have meetings today so we won't be home until you kids are in bed." Marie said.
"Yes mother." Phoenix said. Phoenix walked toward her older brother's room and knocked on the door.
"Joey get up." Phoenix said.

"Go away." Joey muttered before he stood up. He walked over to his closet and pulled out white button up shirt and a pair of jeans. He stood in front of the mirror his green eyes looking back at him. Joey spiked his hair and put hair gel in it before he walked out of the door and ran into his sister almost.
"Hey Phoenix watch where you're standing." Joey said.

"Shut it Joey." Phoenix said as she grabbed the strawberry muffin that was sitting on the counter. Phoenix walked back into her room to get her shoes. She put on her stiletto boots. She then walked back to the living room her Gucci Joy Boston Bag slung over her shoulder. She looked at her brother.
"Let's go." Phoenix said.

"Keep your shoes on we'll go when I'm ready." Joey said.

Eddy Navarii was never the type to want to get out of bed. He slapped the alarm clock from the shelf beside his bed, but it just ended up still ringing under the bed. He groaned then leaned down the side of the bed to retrieve it, turning it off as he placed it back on the shelf. Yet to open his eyes, he pulled the covers back up to around his chin resisting the onset of the morning, but of course, resistance is futile.
He threw back the covers and let them fall off of the side of the bed. There would be no swift way back to the warmth and comfort of waking up in the morning. Looking around his bedroom he realised that he'd actually remembered to shut the blinds for once. That or he just sat on the remote when he wandered in tired and a little worse for wear. Groping around the floor for it, he hit the button which opened the blinds again and felt the light flood into the room.
His eyes weren't quite awake enough to deal with the sudden influx of light, but he kept them open just the same. He got up from the bed and kicked the quilt away, not wanting it to get splashed while he was in the shower. He threw his shorts back onto the bed and pressed the button. The great thing about open plan living was the way you could never forget to take clothes or towels into your bathroom.
He stopped the shower, dried himself with a towel and grabbed his robe, wandering around the glass wall to where his clothes were neatly filed by the maid, Andrea or something.
He grabbed a pair of jeans that looked vaguely less than normal and added a shirt and tie, the latter of which was tied correctly but left loose so it dangled like a pendant necklace. His bag was already packed and left on his desk. Late already he grabbed two apples and a banana from the fruit bowl, took the cash from under the chopping board and grabbed his jacket from the hall closet. He pushed his feet into pre-laced shoes and headed out the door, letting it slam shut behind him.

"Joey anytime would be nice because we're late." Phoenix said.
"Phoenix σκάσε και να κρατήσει πολύ, είστε που μου δώσατε πονοκέφαλο." Joey said.
"Joey please try to be nice to your sister." Marie said.
"Has he started again?" Demetri asked.
"Yes but it doesn't matter, hun your tie is crooked." Marie said as she adjusted his tie.
"Thank you now you two get off to school before you're late." Demetri said as he looked at his kids.
"I would like to but you only let Joey drive." Phoenix said.
"Maybe because they know I won't crash." Joey said before he tied his black sneakers on and grabbed his bag. He picked his jacket up from the back of his chair at the dinning room table and put it on. The keys to the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT already in his jacket pocket.
"Come on Phoenix maybe you'll get your licence before you're twenty." Joey said with a smile as he walked out the door.

"What is the reason I can't drive?" Phoenix asked. She was tired of being bossed around by her older brother.
"We'll think about getting your licence soon but now you should get to school before your brother leaves you." Marie said.
"Fine." Phoenix said as she walked out the door and walked to the garage. She opened the door of the car and got in.
"Hurry up." Phoenix said.

Joey smiled as he took his time heading to the car.

Eddy had walked to school eating for as long as he could remember. His headphones blarred the words of his favourite musicians into his ears in a magnitude of tones that let his mind race through thoughts, emotions and daydreams. He ran or walked to the beat of the music. Today he was jogging to avoid another "punctuality meeting" with the principle, since most weeks he was late four days out of the five he was expected to attend the school. He chomped his way through his breakfast, depositing the cores of the apples and the skin from the banana into the nearest avaliable trash receptor. He was bored of the usual walk in. When he arrived home, he'd plan a new way on Google Maps or something. It would add a little more flavour into what always turned out to be an uneventful day.

"I swear you're doing this to annoy me." Phoenix said as she looked at her brother.
"No just because I like toying with you." Joey said as he started the car. Joey reached over and playfully tugged on his sister's hair.
"Joey stop that." Phoenix said as she picked up Joey's CD case to pick a CD.
"So what do you feel like this morning?" Phoenix asked.

"Hm put in something with a good beat." Joey said as he pulled out of the garage and headed toward his sister's school first.
Phoenix shrugged as she slide a CD into the player. She zipped the CD case up and slipped it back under the seat. Her fingers tapped to Something In Your Mouth by Nickelback.
"Mom and dad would kill me if they knew what we listened to." Joey said as he wove in and out of traffic.
"Well there's nothing we can change about that." Phoenix said.
"I have a test first hour today." Phoenix said.

"What class?" Joey said. He like to know when his sister had tests.
"French." Phoenix said. She loved that her brother wanted to help sometimes.
"You want help with that?" Joey asked.
"No I've got it covered." Phoenix said with a smile.
"J'aime cette chanson. Faites-vous maman de chose et papa laisseriez-moi obtenir un tatouage sur ma hanche gauche?" Phoenix asked.

"Excellent and maybe depends on how much you beg." Joey said.

Arriving about five minutes early, Eddy sat on the steps at the front of his school building and put away his iPod, wrapping the headphones carefully around it. He couldn't be bothered ordering more off the internet and being music deprived as he waited for them to arrive. He took out his notebook and pencil and attempted to regain the train of thought which had let his page become filled with moons, stars, dresses and coats and sparkling rivers, but it was gone. He tore the page out of the book and shoved it to the bottom of his bag, knowing that in an all boys school things like that could put a major dent in your reputation.

Phoenix sighed as her brother pulled up to her school. She opened the car door.
"You'll be here after words right?" Phoenix asked as she stepped out of the car her bag slung over her shoulder.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Joey said.
Phoenix closed the door and watched her brother speed off. She walked toward the school and decided to hover on the steps and wait for the girls to show up. Phoenix pulled her I-Pod out of her purse and put the headphones in her ears. She pressed play and soon "Return the Hitman" by Jim Johnston was playing through her ears. She raised her face to the sky as she waited for someone to show up for her to talk to. She listened to the music in silence. She decided to sit on the steps so her feet wouldn't be killing her before the day ended.

[[OOC: I love how we're the only ones actually posting. :')]]

Eddy waited around for the school bell to sound, knowing that his friends would have to turn up soon. He was sat in a draft, but couldn't be bothered moving. All he really wanted was to skip algebra and his other classes and just go back to bed. His mother was home though, and he'd only end up with a huge rocket up his butt if he did. It just wasn't worth the hassle of it. All the extra relaxing sleep he would get would be destroyed by a stressful arguement with her.

Joey parked his car a few blocks from school in a business's parking lot. He turned the car off and grabbing his bag got out of the car. After closing the door, locking it, and turning on the alarm he headed off toward school. After his short jaunt he smiled when he saw Eddy sitting on the steps.
"Hey you have anything better to do then sit on the steps?" Joey asked. Of course that is what Joey would have done if he had to get her early enough but of course having to drop off Phoenix meant he was later then he would if she drove herself.

Eddy laughed as he looked up. "You know I have no social life, so no, I don't have anything better to do." Eddy got up and dusted himself and his bag off. "So what's your first class today then Joey?" He leaned against he wall now so he didn't need to strain his neck to keep an eye level conversation. He thougt it was rude not to keep eye contact when he was talking to people, but that was probably just a habit drilled into him from younger years.

"Hey you have a social life just nobody is ever here this early." Joey said.
"I have to sit through math first." Joey said with a shutter.
"I don't see how they want us to pay attention to math so early." Joey said.
"So what do you have first?" Joey asked. He wasn't overly tired because Phoenix had kept the music down but still like any other teenager he hated getting woken up to go to school.

"I know it, I know it. I've got Algebra. As if Math weren't confusing enough as it was, they mixed it with English and a sprinkling of ground hell powder and got my beloved lesson. Lame part is, teach believes he's hilarious. I'm telling you Joey, funniest thing in that class is the fact that the title contains the word bra." Eddy pulled his bag onto his shoulder and began to shuffle in the direction of his class.

"Yhea that is the funny thing, I remember when I had Algebra it was so much fun." Joey said.
"Of course we were all laughing behind the teacher's back about the title." Joeys said.
"I get stuck in Calculus." Joey said.
"You have a social life speaking of which Phoenix and I are throwing a party." Joey said. Of course Phoenix didn't know it yet but when he told her she wouldn't mind. Phoenix liked parties most of the time.

"Oh and I suppose Phoenix has helped you in planning this party?" Eddy knew she probably wouldn't have. Joey always seemed to plan everything alone. "When, where and how many parents are going to be there? I'm sick of adults ruining the show so don't lie to me about it. Oh, and who else is coming?"

"Phoenix doesn't know yet." Joey said.
"I'm thinking no parents what so ever...mine are going out of town in a two days." Joey said.
"Saturday, my house, I haven't decided who else is coming yet." Joey said. He needed to get his sister to help him plan it first. If he used enough motive he was pretty sure Phoenix would do it.

"Just remember, the way to win a girl over isn't saying how it benefits you or how she needs to help plan it. You just include all the new stuff she can get for the damn thing. Like new dress, shoes, jewellery. She'll be running over hot coals to help you then." His sister had taught him how to minipulate people easily, so he knew that what he was telling Joey would work. "Man this class is gonna be boring." Eddy said again as he sloped off into the running. He dropped his jacket across the back of his chair, deposited a notebook and pen on the desk then kicked his bag under the chair. His phone buzzed in his pocket to tell him he had a message, but he ignored it.

Joey laughed but he knew Eddy was right. As he walked to his Calculus class he was coming up with ways to blackmail his sister into helping him. Their biggest problem was to get the kids out of the house for the time being. It shouldn't be that hard just send them to a friends house because that always worked well at least part of the time. He trusted that someone would want to take in the other Dragomir kids for a night. Besides the boys had a lot of friends that they could stay with.
"This is going to be so sweet." Joey said as he walked into his class.

Eddy sat of the back of the class, half listening, drawing the whole time. He wondered if Joey could pull off the party, although he already knew he could, so he went on to thinking what he could wear. He was as bad as his sister sometimes. He spent practically the whole class mentally emptying the contents of his wardrobe across his mind. It didn't work. Nothing would do. He'd simply have to go shopping, which he hated, and find a new outfit that he'd love. The boy from the seat next to him passed over a print copy of the notes from their last class, promising he'd be emailed the ones from the current before their next so he'd have time to revise. He almost scoffed, but for the sake of manners, held it. He pulled out his wallet and handed over forty dollars to the guy.
"An advance payment for the email." He smiled, then walked around him to the door as he waited for his friend from across the room.
The girls school studied the exact same as the boys, and he's briefly met a girl who was up to the task of copying down her notes and then making another for him.
Even when he bothered in class and took notes himself he paid her to copy up her own and provide them for him. It wasn't just that he needed the notes, she needed the money. Her family consisted of her working mother, four siblings, drunkard father and herself. Her dad drank all the money he earned by being a handyman at the weekend and her mother had to work two jobs to keep them in their crummy flat. He knew she made money from babysitting after school and had to take her siblings to the homes she sat for too. She wouldn't take charity. He'd found that first hand, after he'd spent a while having Phoenix post envelopes saying 'Buy the kids a treat or something...' into her locker with twenty dollars a day. They just got put in a box in the school's main reception until Phoenix refused to do it any longer and brought him the box. The notes were an easy way of him giving her money for doing practically nothing. He knew that sixty dollars a week (they had three Algebra classes) wasn't much to someone like him, but it might have been to her, so he kept it up.

Joey hummed to himself as he did his assingment. He pulled out his phone and fired a quick text message to his sister. Everyone thought this math was hard but it really wasn't that's why he had his sister in case he didn't get anything she could probably explain anything. If she couldn't explain it there was always his mother.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Phoenix was sitting in her French class taking her test. She didn't know her phone had just flashed a new text message from inside her purse. She started putting her phone on silent for a lot of things. This class was so quite you could hear a pin drop in another classroom.
