Lucas was always teased for being the 'baby face' he could easy pass as 15 and after a while he learned to get used to it. He has never really considered himself to be attractive, if at most he considers himself average. Pale complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, the occasional smatter of freckles across his cheeks. Growing up, he was always looked over, he was too skinny to ever build any muscle and his height passed him off as lanky. His mother however has always told him that he has the kindest face of anyone she's ever met, which he guesses is a good thing?
Lucas doesn't have much of a style. Whatever his mother can afford really. He's mainly stuck to jeans, plain shirts, old sweaters, and beat up canvas sneakers for the rest of his teen years.

Ever since he was a child Lucas was a very intelligent child. He surpassed his peers and had nearly skipped 4 grades during his elementary years. This has developed a sense of thoughtfulness in him. He was never very good at making friends, due to them all nearly being three years older than him. This developed his shy and quiet personality. He didn't mind it though, the silence provided an acceptable work environment for himself.
Lucas is naturally kind-hearted, optimistic and good-natured. He has a tendency to be socially awkward and clumsy, to let his emotions get the best of him. He has always been very driven with almost everything he does, and hates the thought of anything messing up his life plans.
You could say he was the child, that would map out his entire life on his bedroom wall, staring out the window waiting for purpose to hit him clean in the face. Ever since he was little, Lucas was the definition of a 'wannabe miracle'. He was that kid raised in a hell, just wanting to grow wings and fly away. This is what created his kind-hearted nature, to always want to help others, because he never had someone like that for himself. While he is kind, when others get in the way of his plans or goals he becomes quite harsh, and blunt. He never likes lazy, egotistical people, who hold themselves higher than others.

He grew up on the poor side of Augusta, Maine living in a two bedroom house that only had cold water. His mother barely got by and struggled with three jobs to make sure Lucas got what he needed. Even though he was poor, Lucas wouldn't have traded his life for anything. He loves his mother dearly, and with no father in the picture took care of her as well. In addition to his school work he took up two jobs to relieve the stress on his mother, until he was asked to attend St. Judes. At first, he was reluctant to leave his mother but she insisted, she scolded him for even thinking about turning up this opportunity.
ACADEMIC CAREER
Academics is everything to Lucas. Quizzes and Tests were his source of fun growing up. He skipped nearly four grades, and by the age of ten was a prodigy. Geometry, Science, Calculus, English, Spanish, French you name it. Any class Lucas was placed in he passed with flying colors. When he was in seventh grade he was offered his scholarship to St. Jude's School for Boys and he was ecstatic at the opportunity. He currently is top of his class, and has won many achievements at competitions across the state.

Lucas is a vegetarian, and he devoutly never eats meat. He has a habit to always drums his fingers when he thinks. He also tells god awful jokes when he gets really nervous. Secretly, Lucas is terrified of salamanders, the little slimy devils just creep him out.

Lucas has also acquired the taste for coffee and normally has to have at least 2 or more cups of coffee that morning for him to have a good day.
