Gardevoir's Story

"Hey step away from her!" Pichu suddenly shouted once he saw the other Pokemons slowly surround his trainer. He knew full well what happens to Kaia once she gets overwhelmed from the attention of others. He placed his small self protectively over her and when he turned back he was silenced. Kaia was looking at him in amazement, her eyes wide as saucers. "Pi-chan! You can talk!" She stated the obvious, pointing at him still gaping.

"What's your name, strange one?" The pink-haired girl was ready to answer Gardevoir but then they saw the Eevee trip on its feet and because of that Kaia can't help but giggle. "Cute!" She squealed her shyness momentarily forgotten, she still hid partially hid herself on the tree though. The small electric Pokemon sweat dropped at the sight of his master laughing at the smallest things. He then turned to others.

"My name is Pichu and she's Kaia, a Pokemon Trainer," Pichu gestured to the quietly giggling girl once its obvious that these other Pokemons doesn't mean them harm. "Who are you guys, why can Kaia understand us?"

Kaia was surprised to hear that he can't speak. Her eyes widened with every words that come out of Pichu's mouth. Her mouth formed into an "Oh" and she gazed quietly at the other trainer. It was good of him to heal Eevee, when she saw his injured leg she was ready to bring out her bandages and alcohol but he got to them first.

She then turned to the angry Umbreon. "U-um... U-umbreon," she started stuttering. "Eevee will be fine," this time she tried smiling still seeing the hostile expression. "Pichu, tell them she'll be fine, right?" Kaia asked her small electric Pokemon, nudging him lightly.

Pichu who was just resting his throat, nodded affirmatively. After that intensive explanation to his pink-haired trainer, he thought he deserved some rest. Good thing she didn't rush him or anything. "Yeah Umbreon! She'll be OK!" He stated enthusiastically, approaching Eevee and lightly patting her head.

"I-I don't know what is happening with here, but I want to let you know that we're not you're enemies," the pink-haired Pokemon trainer proposed raising out a hand, "It may seem weird but I really think something fishy is going in this island. If you want we can help each other figure this out" She stood up and approached the fallen Gardevoir and reached out her hand to help her. "Are you hurt somewhere?" Looking around she asked again showing her white clean bandages and a couple of medicines, "Are any of you hurt? I-I have bandages and some antiseptic..."

Pichu smiled widely at Eevee, "Glad to hear that, Vee-vee!"

The pink-haired trainer looked at the musician and turned reluctantly to the other Pokemon. They're somewhat part of this mess too! Her mind was confused. When she got to Hitory Island the only thing she thought was gaining new Pokemon and showing the world what Kaia Hanami can do. She was really weak in character and as a trainer. She believed that by winning this contest may change her and how she face life as a Pokemon trainer. But now, now that she's in this strange land... she wasn't sure.

Discovering that the Pokemons can talk in here was such a shock! "Are you guys gonna be fine here? Do you want to follow us? We need to know what's wrong with Hitory! And the announcer," she stated trailing at the end as she turned to them, looking at their wondering expressions. When she saw their blank faces, she was suddenly reminded that these Pokemons knew nothing. They don't even know the existence of humans. They thought she was a Pokemon too! Remembering what the announcer said, she told them quickly about it, "A new generation of Pokeball was made just for this challenge. These Pokeball's make the Pokemon feral and the urge to fight overcomes them. This my friends is the ulitmate challenge. Catch a Pokemon, make it fight until it's down, and then the victor takes home 1 million dollars!".

When she was done relating it to them, never stuttering or pausing to take a breath, she felt a shiver ran down her spine. While the prize looked worth it, it seemed that the announcer had other things planned. For one million dollars, the life of these Pokemons will surely be greatly endangered!

Kaia's heart also went out to the other trainer, as he spoke she can see how hard it was. With a gruff and obviously painful voice he then stated: "they will be fine if we must we can bring them with and protect them"

She knew that his idea was the best plan they can think off. Until things get clearer and they figure things out, its better if all the other Pokemons will be with them. The pink-haired girl knew that it isn't an easy task though.

For one, these Pokemons don't trust them yet. What makes her hope that they will come with them? We almost broke their trust when Eevee got injured, surely proposing that they leave with them will be much harder. They'll certainly protest! Kaia thought despondently casting an inquiring gaze at them.

And two, where will they go? Even if they can protect everyone, they still don't know who are their enemies yet, where are they, or even what are they. She knew how much this contest was being broadcast all over the different regions and islands and because of this she can't exactly estimate how many trainers are planning to enter the said contest.

Third, what are they exactly gonna protect the Pokemon for? Trainers? Because that is going to be so hard. At this she can't help but sigh. That will be really a huge number and a very big trouble not just for her, but also for the others. Or are their enemies the other Pokemons? Looking around and seeing the camaraderie between the Pokemons of Hitory island made her think oppositely though. Dropping the last idea from her list, seeing that it looked impossible in this scenario, she stared at Pichu reflectively.

Raichu had been searching through the wooda for two things. One was food and the second was the roumored new pokemon things. As she walked she saw lots of bug pokemon. But the odd things started happening when she heard a sweet tender sound comeing from her right. She began trotting twards the sound when it suddenly stopped. She listened for some sort of sign there was somthing there but she only heard the craxking of undergrowth. She continued in the direction of the sounds direction and suddenly came across a group of pokemon. Raichu walked out to talk to this strang group that was gathered here. "Hi, might i ask what you pokemon are doing?"

"Oops! Sorry to scare you! I really am not here to hurt anyone i just heard something coming from this direction." Raichu spoke calmly. She had noticed how he scared the strange Pokemon and felt a little guilty at just barging in like this. "Excuse me, I'm sorry to have scarred you" she casual said while peeking around the Pichu at the other pokemon. "Might i ask, what is your name?" She asked rather curiously.

"Nice to meet you two" she said. Even if the question wasnt really directed at them, it was still nice to know who/what they were. She noticed how sleepy the eeveelooked. Suddenly she noticed how tired she was as well. "Um... i know i am new to your gang but, might i be able to rest with you?" She didnt want to put pressure on the group butshe didnt think she could make itp back to the cave she had been staypin in latley.

Raichu was about to reply to the pokemon, Kaia, when (out of nowhere) Pidgeys flew out of the tree's. This spooked Raichu and she did a little jump in the air. Suddenly she turned her attention to a newcomer. "Hello m'lady I am Grovyle and you are" spoke the Grovyle. OH NO! thought Raichu remembering how easily Kaia got scared.

When the couragous Pichu was picked up, Raichu got angry. "Put... him.... down" she said with a warning tone. She glared at the Grovyle. "Leave them alone Grovyle, i am positive Kaia doesn't want to fight" She said glowering at him. She was kind of frightened but she knew that there where other pokemon right behind her and she sucked her fear up.

Grovyle gave Raichu an ice cold stare that froze her.Shivering slightly at how intense his gaze was, she shook herself awake. She walked over to Eevee and picked Pichu off of Eevee. "you ok?" she asked the two of them glancing over her shoulder to watch that the Grovyle didnt do anything to scare the.... to scare Kaia any more.

Raichu was worried. She wanted to help but unless Pichu or Kaia asked she would not jump in. She knew that it would be rude to take someone else's fight, so she sat silently to the side, waiting for the right moment to help.

Raichu had been watching the smaller pokemon fight when suddenly Kaia asked her "Raichu... I... Um... Can you do something about them? I know my Pichu is strong... far stronger than what can be compared to me. I don't want Pichu to get hurt. Please, can you do something about that Grovyle at the very first sign that he starts to do underhanded methods in the fight?" Raichu was somewhat suprised but turned to Kaia and nodded her head. If Kaia asked for it then she would definetly help them out and she got into a battle ready stance.
