HEIGHT
      5'5"
WEIGHT
      107 lbs.
HAIR COLOR
Honoka has lofty, medium-length, light brown hair that falls into curls when let down naturally. She usually ties them up into a pair of short braids whenever she goes out.
EYE COLOR
Honoka has dim-brown almost beige-tinted eyes. The beige really shows whenever they're shone upon by direct sunlight. Her vision isn't the best, as such she requires glasses to see pretty much anything. Whenever she doesn't feel like wearing them, she usually just puts in a pair of contact lenses.
SKIN TONE
Her skin is surprisingly well-toned, given how little time she spends outside. While she does go out in irregular intervals, the time span usually only ranges from twenty minutes to an hour. Her skin is fairly malnourished and somewhat dry.
GENERAL APPEARANCE
Honoka is a fairly small thing, for her age that is. She is often dwarfed by most other girls her age by at least a couple of inches, which only adds to her list of insecurities. She has an overall petite figure. Signs of malnourishment show all over her body. She often has to cover up any obvious signs she can with baggy clothing and make up. That said, she is very weak physically and has trouble dealing with anything that requires extensive amounts of upper body strength. It would appear that all the strength from her arms, instead went to her legs. One could say Honoka is fairly attractive. No matter what looks she decides to go with, she has the air of a natural beauty about her.

PERSONALITY

      Image
      ✦ Flirtatious ✧ Mischievous ✦ Devil-May-Care ✧ Outgoing ✦
At first glance, one could definitely tell that Honoka is very ditzy. She's as carefree and easygoing as they come. She doesn't seem to think too much with her head, preferring to tackle things head-on. That said, Honoka doesn't exactly have the greatest attention span. She tends to flirt a lot with boys, earning her a couple of unsavory titles during her school years. Even so, she couldn't care less what others think of her. She only wants to do things that interest her and to hell with the consequences. Honoka isn't above pulling pranks or teasing people. She actually finds it quite fun to see their reactions. All-in-all, Honoka is a very friendly individual, who can get along with anyone willing to handle her overbearing presence.

      Image

      ✦ Timid ✧ Docile ✦ Distrusting ✧ Lonely ✦
Everything in the previous paragraph is a lie. Here is what Honoka is really like. The 'real' Honoka is a socially awkward, jobless Neet. She prefers not to interact with other people for fear that they will hurt her. Even online, she veers away from social media and forums. She doesn't trust anyone other than her parents, and even they are barely within her circle of trust. She knows that her parents care for her, but sometimes their love just isn't enough to cast away the doubts in her mind. She isn't one to say no, if someone has a request for her. She would rather be someone's servant rather than anger them. Honoka is a nice, humble girl. She wouldn't wish ill fate on anyone. Despite her antisocial tendencies, what Honoka really yearns for is a friend. Someone who won't abandon her or betray her trust, as fragile as it is. She has made attempts to make such a friend in the past, only to have them laugh in her face and disappear from her life. Even so, she hasn't given up hope. This is the reason for the fake personality. She has become so used to acting in this way towards others, that this outgoing person who looks her in the mirror has become a completely different persona that Honoka can use at her beck and call. It acts as a shield towards Honoka's true self, as well as a filter for her negative emotions. The fake Honoka often says things that she normally would be afraid to, most often things that have preyed on her mind for a long time. Ironically, she is much more honest than the real Honoka. However, Honoka can only keep acting in this way before the constant disappointment breaks her. She has already neared that limit.

ImageLIKES
✦Swimming || One of the few physical activities she actually enjoys. She finds being submerged in water in general to be very therapeutic. She particularly enjoys floating on her back. This makes her feel as if she is lighter than air.
✧Art || Photography, painting, etc. She likes all of it. Drawing in particular is one of her favorite hobbies.
✦The Internet || She always feels at peace, browsing the internet instead of dealing with real life situations.
✧Video Games || A minor hobby compared to her other ones. But every now and then, Honoka gets the urge to smack a few noobs around in fighting games. She also has a couple of eroge's that she keeps secret.
✦Manga || While she also enjoys watching anime, she's finds the experience of reading the story herself to be more fulfilling. Plus, she's learned to appreciate the mangaka's art style.
DISLIKES
✦Insects || She doesn't find them scary or anything. She would just rather they not touch her.
✧Strenuous Physical Activity || She isn't one for sports or athletics. Even so, she'll still participate if she feels so inclined.
✦Being Seen Through || There is a reason that Fake Honoka exists. Honoka doesn't like people seeing the fragile part of her that can be easily manipulated. If someone were to see through her façade, her initial reaction would be to exit the scene as soon as possible. The more someone looks into the real her, the more self-conscious she becomes.
✧Mean People || Those who demean others or show any qualities resembling a bully are at the bottom of her list of people to interact with.
✦Eating || The concept of eating just seems mundane to her. She has to force herself to eat in order to keep her blood sugar in check.

ImageTALENTS
✦Helpful || While there is a limit to what she can do, Honoka loves to help people, as little a task at it may be. Doing this gives her at least some sense of self-worth.
✧Strong legs || She could be a powerful runner with the right amount of training and exercise.
✦Drawing || If there is anything that could be considered a passion in her life, it would be her drawings and interest in fine arts.
✧Computers || Spending years doing nothing but playing on the computer all day, Honoka has become an adept keyboarder, as well as a programmer.

FLAWS
✦Insecure || She doesn't see herself as very talented, and thus hesitates to actually do anything with the talents that she does have. She has numerous insecurities ranging from what people think of her to her height. One might say she is overly conscious about these things.
✧Near-sighted || Unless something is right up to her face, she is relatively blind without her glasses or contacts.

✦Antisocial || She doesn't like interacting with others, as she isn't very good at it. She often mumbles her words or shuts down completely when spoken to.
✧Weak upper body strength || Her upper body leaves much to be desired as far as muscle goes.
✦Easily Oppressed || Honoka will do whatever someone says, without resistance. Although she will hesitate, if she is asked to do something of immoral value.
✧Hypoglycemia || Honoka's blood sugar levels are extremely unstable. Thus, she has to keep them under control, but struggles to maintain a steady diet. Or any diet for that matter.
✦Fasting || Honoka tends to forget to eat, or rather tries to avoid it altogether. She'll go up to 4 days without eating anything, before symptoms start to kick in and her Hypoglycemia gets the better of her.

FEARS
✦Abandonment || Having people she considered important come and go from her life, Honoka is afraid of being alone. Even more so of being abandoned by those she cherishes.
✧Bullies || Honoka has a natural fear of bullies, having been bullied throughout her childhood. Even if she sees someone else being bullied, she will flee the scene out of freight. She still shrinks back from simple things like a raised hand or loud, angry voices.
✦Crustaceans || She doesn't like the look of them. Even if someone were to place a dead one near her, she would eye it suspiciously as if it was going to spring to life and pinch her. The only exceptions are small crustaceans like shrimp or krill.
✧Low Blood-sugar || Honoka is very conscious of her Hypoglycemia and fears that she may one day push the limits of its effects. She has already had several close calls and many minor ones throughout the span of her life, up until now.
✦Hospitals || Her semi-frequents visits haven't been the most fun. She hates hospitals with a passion and would prefer never to visit one again, if possible. This also includes medical clinics, wards, dental offices, and really anything remotely close to the atmosphere of a hospital.

BIO
Born the to a pair of college sweethearts, Honoka had a fairly easygoing childhood. Her mom and dad were doting parents, who never let her out of their sights, until she was old enough to go to kindergarten. Even as she grew older, they always had time for her. It was rare for her to have a moment to herself at home, until she started maturing. She never experienced any kind of hardship beyond scraping her knee.

It wasn't until her first year of high school, that things started to get out of hand. At the time, Honoka wasn't very popular. She was already naturally shy and introverted, and had only a couple of friends. One day, she met her first crush. She had sprained her ankle during gym class and had to be sent to the infirmary. There, sleeping in a bed next to her was Rito Hideyama. He was one of those guys that seemed nice on the outside, but were natural womanizers. Being as inexperienced as she was, she fell for him after he complimented her upon waking up. She thought it was like a scene ripped from a shoujo anime. Before she knew it, she began trying to get close to Rito. Little did she know that her friend, Satomo also had a crush on Rito. As she began her meager advances on Rito, Satomo's resentment and jealousy grew. Eventually, Satomo had enough and straight-out asked him out. Being the way he was, he said yes. This left Honoka confused and a little heartbroken. Satomo regularly mentioned Rito around Honoka and gloated about how in love they were. After hearing these things, Honoka thought it would be best to give up on him for good. Only a few weeks later did Rito come around and confess to Honoka. He was still dating Satomo, as well as three other girls at the time. Sheltered as she was, she still understood the concept of cheating. She rejected him and then proceeded to confront him on his relationship with Satomo. Eventually threatening to tell Satomo the truth, Rito took immediate action. Finding Satomo first, he told her that Honoka had thrown herself at him and tried to seduce him. With that, Honoka's friendships slowly began to break apart.

Rumors quickly spread throughout the school, and everyone began calling her a slut. Honoka decided that instead of running away from their insults, she would give them what they wanted. This is how the birth of "Fake Honoka" began. It was tough at first, but eventually Honoka developed a secondary persona to act out exactly the type of person everyone thought she was. This backfired, however. Her newfound behavior got on people's nerves. Some girls even bullied her on a regular basis, finding enjoyment in making her show her true colors. This bullying included public ridicule, verbal abuse, and more generic forms of bullying such as physical abuse and swirlies. One time, she had gotten beaten so badly, she had to be sent to the ER. After that, Honoka couldn't hide her bruises any more. She was forced to switch schools and move altogether.

Even in her new habitat, the bullying didn't stop. By then, Honoka was already used to tapping in to her second persona. She decided that it would be easier to fit in and make friends if she acted that way, rather than be her usual self. This had exactly the same result as with her last school. Already in a fragile state of mind, Honoka became extremely depressed. After a while, she began showing up at school less and less. Eventually, she stopped coming, altogether.

Upon realizing that she didn't belong anywhere in reality, Honoka sank herself into the internet. This is how she began her life of neetdom. Her parents became gradually worried for her condition. Honoka rarely let them into her life, anymore. She was difficult to approach, as if she were a completely different person. Lost in her loneliness, Honoka only became more depressed as the months went by. She stopped eating for days on end, finding things like food to be bland and unnecessary. She only saw it as another annoying reason to come out of her room, which had become a sanctuary for her.

Never quite being the healthiest child, Honoka didn't last long this way. One moment she was staring at her computer screen, watching some video, the next she had awoken in an ER with an IV stuck in her arm. Her initial thought was how freaky it looked, nearly causing her to panic and freak out then and there. Honoka had apparently lost consciousness due to low blood sugar and had been asleep for nearly a week. She had been in danger of going comatose. After her release from the hospital, her parents tried to use this experience as a chance to make Honoka rethink her life style. Despite their efforts, her little spill did little to change her ways. This cycle continued for several more years. Honoka had a few more similar spills, as well as minor ones. She attempted to pursue regular eating habits, if for no reason other than to avoid going back to the ER. Every time, she failed miserably. Most of the time, she couldn't even stomach the contents. Her parents, having no where else to turn to, decided to send her to the Hope and Haven Rehab Center. Honoka was completely against the idea, as the thought made it seem like they were sending her off to a mental ward or something. Unfortunately, she didn't have much choice. This place might be her only chance at recovering from her deplorable condition.

'Oh geez. Is it too late to turn back?' This single thought echoed in Honoka's mind as she waited at the bus stop. Her parents had already wished her good luck and said their goodbyes only a few minutes earlier. They didn't want to embarrass her with their smothering affection in front of potentially new friends, so they left early. Her nose and eyes were still a little red, but she managed to get her appearance in order after blowing her nose. As the minutes went by, she kept looking behind her, as if expecting some sort of sign. Something to tell her that it was ok to turn around and go back to her current state of living. Doubt upon doubt continued to swirl in her head.

Eventually, she came to the decision that the rehab center really couldn't help her. As she turned to walk back, the gradual decrease of a motor, accompanied by a loud tire screech resonated behind her. A knot instantly grew in her stomach. Things had to get better somehow. Delaying it would only earn her more visits to the ER. The very thought made her shudder. With a sigh, Honoka slowly made her way up the steps and tensed when the twin doors suddenly closed behind her. She knew there was no going back now. Any remaining doubts she had, she would have to cast aside. Holding her carryon bags close to her body, Honoka cautiously made her way through the bus until she found an empty seat somewhere in the middle. She rushed over and hurriedly sat herself next to the window.

The bus ride was more or less uneventful. Sticking to her usual roots, Honoka had spent most of the ride avoiding other people. No one had sat next to her, which both saddened and relieved her. She had even spread her body out to cover most of the seat, as insurance should someone attempt to sit next to her. She considered the possibility of befriending these people, who were like her in a way. Of course, there were certain factors to put into consideration before doing so. The mental stability of the other party is always in question, for one. She had also taken note that she had been acting how she normally would if she was alone or at home. If anyone had been paying attention to her, she would have to try extra hard to put up her act later. She began devising plans on how she would interact with people, only to be interrupted by the abrupt stop. She had been concentrating so intently, that she hadn't even noticed the bus nearing the facility.

Upon laying eyes on it, Honoka could definitely tell she wasn't going to like it here. That knot in her stomach had returned, only to double in size and intensity. She felt like puking just by laying eyes on what she could only describe as a ward. Honoka funneled out of the bus along with everyone else, appearing as meek and out of place as she felt. Partway towards the main building lobby, she readjusted her posture to appear more confident. She would have to make a strong first impression, after all.

The Nurse didn't leave much of an impression on Honoka. She had been too distracted by her humorous appearance to catch a word of what she had said. Her eyes followed her like a cat staring down a laser pointer light, completely entranced. The spell was only broken by a sharp chuckle that boomed throughout the lobby, following the Nurse's exit. Honoka visibly jumped out of her daze, her heart skipping a beat. The sudden bout of laughter had startled her. Feeling relatively embarrassed, Honoka looked around to see if anyone had noticed her jump. Finding that her role as a background character was being sufficiently carried out, she decided to focus on the object of her momentary fright. The man who had been so heartily laughing earlier now seemed to be in some sort of pain. Honoka thought for a second to ask what was wrong. She caught herself, before impulse could make her carry out said action. She had to treat this new environment carefully. She instead decided to stay still and observe the rest of the bunch to decide who she would prefer to keep company. The whole time, a mischievous gleam shone in here eyes, as she looked from group to group.

"..."

Forehead pressed into the soft cushioned back of the seat before his, silvery bangs becoming slightly ruffled, and the headphones that were draped over his ears and effectively drown the noise of the world and replaced it with Frederic's sweetest symphony. He was at peace for the moment, though wondered how long it would last without his siblings. His mismatched eyes were staring into the brown leather of the bus seat, the corner of his eye catching sight of the few whom walked past him to sit further back on the bus. As far as he could tell from the people he's seen so far, this place he was going to seemed to be a place for children. He was relatively much older than some of these people he has seen, and felt a little odd. It was like an adult going on the school bus to high school. He didn't mind it though, as he had signed up for this. He couldn't rely on others to know what was real or not, so he had to figure it out somehow.

Muffled shouting came from behind him, and without much thought he glanced back. He saw what seemed to be a red haired young man on the verge of tears, though once the boy noticed his staring, he seemed to yell at him. With an apologetic look, Sei turned his head to face the front, fixing his bangs with his fingers. Had he really heard the boy yell or did the boy scold him for staring at him with no reason? He quietly wondered that to himself.

The bus lurched to a stop, all the people began to funnel out of the bus except for Sei. He waited until he was the last one remaining before he departed. As he stepped out, he pulled the headphones down to his neck, placing his hands into his pockets as he walked a bit of a distance from the group. He wasn't slowing down to admire the scenery or anything, he was just checking for any stray cats.

After the 'Nurse' had given her spiel, it seemed like no one was all that eager to socialize. Sei offered a gentle chuckle at that, it seemed like the enemies were eyeing each other down. How typical. He walked up to the first person he was closest to, offering out his hand.

"Hello, my name is Seishinbyō Odayakana. A rather long name, so you can just call me Sei. It's a great pleasure to meet someone as lovely as you."

The bus ride had been, without a fraction of doubt, downright horrendous. Luna found herself seated at the very front of the bus, a bus that was occupied by people whom she had no prior connection to. She had no idea whether or not anyone was looking at her, nor could she check as that would involve turning around and, potentially, meeting someone's gaze. What was more horrid was, whenever a new person embarked on the bus, she was among the first couple of people they would see. It did not help quell her fear to hear another person, a male voice by the sounds of it, already yelling at other people.

As though to escape the terrifying reality Luna had found herself in, granted it was also she who brought herself there, she reached into the small bag she had placed beside her and pulled out a portable game. The game itself was of the arcade fighting variety, one genre that Luna, among many, absolutely sucked at. Nevertheless, she played the game and enjoyed herself all the same. It wasn't long before she had lost for the thirtieth time and the bus had come to a full stop in front of what appeared to be their destination. "Well... it looks like a haven, I guess? Maybe a little hopeful?" She thought to herself, although she couldn't help but make a worried expression.

One perk to being seated towards the front of the bus was that she could be one of the first people to exit the bus; meaning she wouldn't have to look at people as she walked through the aisle. As soon as the entered the building, she claimed a seat off to the side as her own. She put her game back into her bag for the time being while nurse Nurse had addressed the new arrivals. Once the Nurse had made her exit there was a booming laughter which echoed across the room, making Luna let out a soft, strangled breath. She glanced at the source of the laugh from her peripherals and saw a male clutching his head. She quickly glanced at the others in the room, prepared to only look for a few seconds, lest they make eye contact.

There was another male located towards the door of the building who had light colored hair. There was a bespectacled girl standing off on her own as well, looking as though she were sizing up the others. Then there was the male, definitely looked a lot older than everyone else present, who seemed to be already introducing himself to others. There was also a late arrival who, aside from wandering the reception area, was also keeping to herself. Uwaah... Everyone seems rather... unapproachable. Luna thought to herself, pulling out her game once more. As her game booted up she couldn't help but think that Solum would have a better time in this situation. She was always friendly and social. Maybe even Sol would be better, being energetic and stuff. Letting out a sigh, Luna started up her game and waited for whatever would come next.

Talk about late. Like... really late. And on the first day, too. Peachy. Why was she even going though? Just for... one person, she supposed. Truth be told, she already 'graduated' from highschool, online. Of course, the rehab idea? Now that was all Rin's fault... And she hated it. She hated the idea of putting trust into people she didn't know- to put the trust she no longer had in the hands of strangers... It sounded like a lot to ask.

Wasn't she doing good on her own? Hadn't she made good progress even leaving her apartment on her own? Sure, the 'house' phone was unplugged from the wall, considering he had the number to it... but hey, she was doing alright. No nightmares, no constant reminders she was honestly unwell. This was just all part of the 'recovery' from the latest attempt on her life. She had begun bleeding out when Rin Sawamura found her, a knife twisted into- happy thoughts, happy thoughts.

Right, she needed to get moving. Bandages wrapped around her upper abdomen, clothes thrown on, and she was out the door. This was just going to be fine, everything was okay. Her stuff would be there, so all she had to worry about was getting there, and it wasn't like she was going to walk there herself. Despite him being an eccentric mad-man, he was still the closest thing she had to a 'friend'.

"Sangooo~! Let's get a move on, you're late!" Rin bubbled, seeing Sango as he formed that of a giant grin. She could only imagine how bad each attempt left him- how it left his state of mind.

"I know! I'm coming... Is it too late to back out, to go along with that?"

"Sango, you promised." The older gentlemen scowled, watching as she got into the car as she let out one of the softest sighs he ever heard.

    "Once again, I know."

And just like that, besides the small talk along the way, her fate was sealed. Walking into the building, Sango carefully eyed everyone before... suddenly relaxing. They looked no different then her. "This is actually a little bit relieving." Sango mumbled to herself, sending off a smile to everyone in the room before taking a seat. It was like the glares everyone sent simply... went right on over her head... But there was a certain tension to the situation she didn't like.

A introduction to everyone would get it out of the way, no doubt. "Sorry for being late. I'm Sango Fujiwara. It's a pleasure to meet all of you."

"I've cried tears you will never see, so fuck you you can go cry me an ocean and leave me be."

Kaede was suddenly shooken from his thoughts of self pity by the words of another. It took him a while till he snapped out of his daze and looked around for who could have said something to him. He met eyes with the same man from the bus, the one he yelled at for no reason. Now that Kaede was more or less in his right mind he waved his hand at the guy to get his attention. "Hey you! Sorry for freaking out at you on the bus like that." He felt silly and turned away from the man in embarrassment. He scanned the crowd with his harsh gaze, he spied a mousy girl who seemed rather timid and to be making her best effort at socializing. A strawberry blonde who, like himself obviously didn't want to be there. Even a few introduced themselves Kaede figured he better should too. "Yeah so I'm Kaede Kurosawa, nothing real special about me." He said in his casual yet still loud voice.
Kaede then realized a girl who just introduced herself invited him to sit next to her on the ground. Though Kaede thought it silly to invite someone to sit on the ground he wouldn't deny such a humble offer from a lady. "Oh thanks, so does this place blow already or what?" This question was aimed towards Astrid but his voice prejected it to everyone close. He could care less if the 'Nurse' could hear him, he could deal with a little action.
'This place could be pretty cool anyway, I just take it one day at a time right?' His thoughts did little to encourage him, he felt lost. Hopefully he could make friends here though that seemed unlikely. His thoughts were once again broken by a female voice. This voice came from a redhead like himself, she seemed pretty but damaged. Kaede could visibly see her despair no matter how well she hid it. Kaede felt dumb, hell, he almost broke down on the first day. The people around him seemed stable for now which was always good. He sat next to Astrid for a bit before getting bored. He issued another "thanks" to her before walking around the yard and finally seeing someone who looked rather out of sorts. A girl with blonde hair who seemed to be paying more attention to her handheld game than the others. He walked over to her and peeked over her shoulder. "You good at this game? I really never could afford video games myself but a few of my friends did." Kaede being Kaede he had gotten up in her business without even saying hi.

Alice felt as though she were floating, watching the bustling world outside compared to the nearly dead atmosphere around them. Thankfully Alice was not the last to show up and she was relieved to see that she was not the only one to receive a lecture from the nurse. The lobby was filled with a whole bunch of kids being social with one another. She stood in the corner, feeling rather self conscious and awkward. Alice was never good at making friends, the few she had, had as a child abandoned her as soon as they found out there was something wrong with her. Parents warned their children to stay away, they taught them that different was bad, it was dangerous and Alice was different. So she was shunned. These kids here, they were all like her, different. They too, had been products of a neglectful society that failed to see the abuse in their heads, the premature warning signs of danger before it was too late.

Alice turned away from the window, there was no use dwelling on events she couldn't control, battles she couldn't fight. The world had turned against her, or perhaps she had turned against the world. She scanned the spacious lobby, wondering if this would be a good opportunity to make friends or if she should wait. Maybe she could start over here? A clean slate? Yes, that would be nice. So who should she converse with? Alice scanned the lobby, her eyes resting on a boy with dark red hair who was standing over the shoulder of a girl with some sort of gaming device.

Then there were two other girls, one that was sitting on the floor, the other had just walked in and introduced herself. Alice figured she would have a good shot there, when suddenly a boy with hair so light it was nearly white and two different colored eyes strode up to her, "Hello, my name is Seishinbyō Odayakana. A rather long name, so you can just call me Sei. It's a great pleasure to meet someone as lovely as you." Alice's cheeks flushed bright red, for some reason she had an unsettling feeling in her stomach. Plus, how could anyone look lovely with an NG tube? "Hello," her words were cautious, she did not know under what conditions this boy was here for and so she would take things slowly. Alice may not have been ever present in the real world, but she was smart enough to know why people were sent to a rehab center. "My name is Alice, Alice Baskerville. It's an honor to meet you as well Sei," a slow smile slid on to her lips, warmth radiating from the child. Alice could tell she was younger than him, but by how many years she couldn't fathom.

After a good five minutes, Honoka was beginning to lose hope. Everyone in the area seemed to keep to themselves for the most part. No real interaction other than an awkward glance here or there. While she was good at easing her way into a conversation between other people, Honoka always had trouble starting a one-on-one conversation with someone else. This wasn't good. Just as she had all but given up, her spirits were lifted as something caught her eye. Could it be?... Yes! The first budding signs of social interaction had finally bloomed.

She beamed at a pair who were off, further down the lobby. The male seemed to be fairly older than the girl he was talking with, as well as the majority of the rehab center's new occupants. The girl however, seemed to have something coming out of her nose, which dazzled Honoka for a short time. Or maybe it was going into her nose? It was hard for Honoka to tell from the angle she was viewing them from. She scanned their facial features, curious as to how they were interacting. 'Ooooh! She blushed! I ship them already.' Honoka thought, already delving into her habit of shipping random people, because they look good together. Her own face began glowing a light pink at the thought. While a small tinge of mutual interest did seem to spark between the two, Honoka judged that they most likely had only exchanged greetings. It would be difficult to engage in their conversation, if there wasn't already some sort of common interest she could use to her advantage. Ultimately, Honoka decided to leave them alone, while still keeping an observant eye on them.

It was then that the ever-familiar click and clack of a control pad could be faintly heard amongst the chilling silence. Turning her head towards the direction of the sound, Honoka could make out a blonde girl, who at the moment seemed to have immersed herself in a game of some sort. 'So I'm not the only girl here who likes video games, after all. That's a relief.' Curious, Honoka began edging closer and closer to the girl, until her screen came into view. A smile presented itself on Honoka's face as she realized the game that the girl was playing seemed to be one that she used to frequent a few months back. She had gotten quite good at the PC version, but eventually grew bored of it and moved on to another game. Honoka couldn't help but notice that the girl wasn't exactly doing too well. She could barely take out a third of the opponent's life bar before she got K.O.'d. 'Uwah... You would have been able to do a grapple combo if you had countered there...' Honoka couldn't help but feel disappointed, every time the girl missed a chance to turn the fight around. After watching the girl get the snot beat out of her several more times, Honoka felt a sudden urge to do something. At least start giving the girl pointers, while struggling not to unleash her full inner geek.

As she opened her mouth to do so, she was cut off by the boy who she had seen laughing earlier. She was at least relieved to see he wasn't in pain anymore. Not only that, but he also seemed to have an interest in the girl's game. There it was. Honoka took decisive action and crept closer to the pair, before speaking. "Ooooh! That's a fun one. Tell me. Which character do you main? My favorite one is Hidesaki, but Blaze Kitamura is a close second." Whoops. Honoka began to panic. Despite her efforts to restrain herself, it seems that her inner geek was simply too much to hold back. In an attempt to revise her earlier question, Honoka decided to introduce herself. "Ah... My name is Chitaba Honoka, by the way. But you can call me Chi-chan. Or whatever you want, really." She gave the two a playful smile, that didn't seem sincere in the slightest. Internally, she was freaking out, hoping that she hadn't already screwed up her chance to make friends.

Luna was ever so engrossed in her game, she had not noticed the sound of approaching footsteps. Granted, the reason for her being so focussed was her inability to defeat her opponent even once, getting in only one or two hits before getting KO'd. "You good at this game? I really never could afford video games myself but a few of my friends did." said a voice from over her shoulder. Luna, having not expected the sudden encounter, let out a small yelp and nearly dropped her game. After fumbling with the console for a bit, she finally managed to secure a hold on it and held it close to her chest with a relieved sigh. However, Luna found that sigh of relief was let out too soon as she turned around and came face to face with the male who had previously laughed loudly after the nurse's welcoming speech.

After immediately coming to the realization of who had just approached her, Luna felt her face drain and the hairs on her body stand up. Eh, eh?! He never could afford games... So is this extortion? Am I being robbed?" Luna couldn't help but run straight into worst case scenarios. Looking down at the game which she had held tightly to her chest, she considered the possibility of her being shaken down later and it being taken forcefully later. Having come to the conclusion that this was in fact an act of extortion, Luna had reluctantly readied herself to hand over the game to the male.

Before she was able to actually hand over the game, another girl had come over and introduced herself as Chitaba Honoka. She was giving a rather insincere smile, though Luna was unsure why. However, what she was sure about, was that if someone else was watching, the male wouldn't be able to take the game away at this moment. About to, once more, sigh a sigh of relief, she realized that he might find another time to take it in a more forceful manner. It was at this time that she recalled that the girl, Chitaba, had asked a question. However, she had no idea how to answer. While she had been playing the game for a while, she didn't take the time to learn any of the characters or how to play well. She attempted to reply, but felt her voice falter. Instead of forming words, all that she did was slowly flap her mouth open and closed without any sounds.

Kaede approached the girl with no foul intent and all of a sudden this girl seemed scared. He guy rowed his brow. Then this other rather mousy girl came up outta no where and started talking like a nerd. Weird she doesn't seem scared of Kaede, and that's cool maybe they could be friends Kaede really needs to make a friend. Honoka smiled at the two of them, and Kaede gave a grin in response. A typical Kaede smile, all teeth and purely honest. The two girls seemed to be freaking out on the inside. The blonde looked at the game almost nervously which Kaede picked up on. "Hey you aren't scared of me are ya? Listen I'm not gonna take anything from you, just here to take my life back you know?" He asked the lasted part rubbing the back of his head laughing rather loudly but not rude this time.
Kaede focused back on the video game, "Well, if you ever want to hang out maybe we can, could I play the game with you some time?" Kaede wants to put his best foot forward on his first day.
