Wings
Katherine has two large, powerful wings that sprout from her shoulder blades. They reach about 20 feet across that help her fly at the speed of a jet.
Not only are her wings her greatest strength, they are also his greatest weakess. In extreme weather, she cannot fly, for her wings do not generate very much heat. So if its too cold, she could possible crash. Plus, her wings are also very fragile. If broken or even dislocated, it causes extreme pain and leaves her ultimatly vulnerable.

Super Sonic Voice:
Katherine can release a bird-like screech that can destroy plaster, shatter glass and deafen people. Sometimes, on accident, she taps into her superpowers and breaks something on accident.

Heightened Senses:
Katherine’s senses of sight, hearing, and smell are heightened.

Personality:
Katherine is the strong, silent type. She carries a powerful aura around with her. The kind of aura that can silence a crowd with one cold glare. She’s also very tough and stubborn, and never gives up. To strangers she comes off as cold and monotone, but when you become her friend, you will learn that she loves to joke around and just hang out. Her temper is also not something one should play with. She’s quick to snap and is known for causing trouble and starting fights.

Katherine is also very athletic. She’s much strong than many other girls and can run very fast. Her heart is also more efficient and her lungs are stronger, they need to be for her to be able to fly. She likes to swim, but when her wings get too wet, she cannot fly. But, to fly, she needs lots of sugars and calories. Her metabolism is off the charts high, and she is constantly eating sugary things.

She’s also musical. She can play the guitar, electric and acoustic, the electric bass, drums, flute, violin and the cello. She’s a beautiful singer, knows how to rap, and even knows how to dance. Katherine is into rock/electric bands like Three Days Grace, 30 Seconds to Mars, Evanescence and Skillet, but she will sing the occasional catchy pop song. She’s good at break/hip hop dancing, but she took ballet for a few years, but refuses to tell anyone. That’s her little secret… shhh…

Katherine does not know how to control her emotion of love. When she likes someone, she stumbles over her words an blushes a lot. She's really prideful and never excepts help from anyone. She hates being called Kathy. Just don't do it.

History:
Katherine doesnt know who her parents are. When she was six weeks old, a mysterious group of people dumped her and her three year old brother onto the front steps of a couple that lived in Miami, Florida. The couple found the small children and took them in. They paid little attention to the two children’s' wings. They were happy they could finally find some kids who were special enough for them. It was not only two weeks ago did their new adopted mother find out that she was sterile.

The winged siblings grew up together in that house. Noah (Her brother) learned to fly at age four, and loved to do it. After Noah learned, he taught Katherine how. As soon as she learned to fly, her inner competitive spirit showed itself. They raced outside in the sky above their backyard for hours on end. Katherine was naturally faster than him. His mother always scolded her for cheating when Katherine never did. Her mother just liked her blonde haired, blue eyed brother more than her. This made Katherine cold and bitter, never receiving praise from her mother. Her father was almost always gone for business.

As they got older, their second set of powers emerged. Katherine was sent to juvie for three weeks for accidentally deafening six of her fellow students in middle school. Noah (who can absorb and control electricity) knocked out the power in the city for two days. Soon the two began arguing. Then their arguments turned to fights. These fights got so bad that they destroyed their house not once, not twice, but six times.

Katherine had few friends, and went into music. She taught herself how to play many instruments and sing. Sometimes, when that beat drops, she can’t help herself. She discovered her passion for dancing when she turned fourteen. Long story short, she beat one of the cocky bastards at her old school in a dance off when she went to a party with her boyfriend. Oh, and that boyfriend dumped her when he found out about her wings. She now thinks love is nothing but a fault in her DNA.

That was when her mother discovered Greenfield. It was perfect; the siblings could learn to harness their powers together. Noah refused, for he thought going to a school just for freaks is prejudice. Plus he had a girlfriend he was very happy with. Katherine thought the idea was a rather good one. She was picked on quite a bit at her high school when the word got out about her powers. So, it ended up with just Katherine going and Noah staying back. Noah hates her for agreeing to go. He truly did care about his sister, and didn’t want to be separated from her. But nothing could stop Katherine. And Noah knew he wouldn’t be able to convince her to stay. So it was decided. She was leaving to learn how to control herself and her powers, and possible be able to use them for the greater good.
