Introduction

When you’re born, your true love has already been made for you. You just don’t know it yet. At the time of your birth, your Guardian is created. The one person who understands every aspect of you. They grow with you and guide you down the right path. They are there for you in flesh if they need to be, or they follow you in spirit. There are times when the Guardian may not find/ or meet his/her charge until they are older.

The Guardians are angels who hide themselves from the humans. They stay invisible from the humans to safeguard themselves. They reveal themselves to their charges sometimes. Usually, the Guardian and their human fall in love, but sometimes the humans don’t fall in love with their Guardian until after death. The Guardian will always have a bond with their charge, whether the charge recognizes it or not. The Guardian will always love and be attracted to their charge and no other. Guardians appear to be human-like in appearance, as they can hide their wings. The only person allowed to see their wings is their charge. They interact in the human world, but usually lay low.

The Guardians do have supernatural abilities. They have super strength and speed. But other than that, they have the ability to sense the emotions or atmosphere of the air. They can usually communicate to animals. Sometimes, which is very rare, a guardian may have such a beautiful voice that is so hypnotic they can command others to do their bidding. Of course, Guardians don't do this.. But those that have fallen may.. You can give your Guardian a supernatural ability, but it must be SUBTLE. And it should be emotionally or spiritually related. It can also be nature related as well. I will let you know if you have to change your powers.

Basic Rules

Anything that has been put in bold letters is something new that has been added. Please check the rules or plot regularly to see if anything has changed. Ignorance will not be excused.

In the synopsis of your character's biography, PLEASE put what species they are. You may put whatever you want after that, but put what their species is first. This is a great help when I'm filling in the slots. Thank you :).

Please keep everything PG-13. Please keep cursing to a minimum. I don't want people dropping the f-bomb in every post. If your characters are getting intimate that's fine, but please remember that this is public and when things start getting detailed the clothes start coming off please take it to private messaging, mmkay?

Please use correct grammar and spelling to the absolute best of your ability.

Role Play Rules

Guardians choose their humans. (You can debate in ooc who gets who without arguing.)

Humans and Guardians only.

Guardians can choose when they reveal themselves to their charges. There are occasional cases where the charge may find out before the Guardian is ready, but that is rare.

Guardians can make themselves invisible, as they are guardian angels.

Guardians and their charges are the same age as the Guardian was created the same day as their charges birth.

Guardians and charges are the opposite genders of each other.

Guardians guide their humans by talking to them telepathically. For example: Sally was about to turn a corner. Her Guardian, John, foresaw danger. Stop. Sally decided to look at a window display that caught her eye and whirled around when she heard tires screeching and metal crunching. Two cars had just collided where Sally was about to have gone if John hadn't guided her. She thanked goodness for her good luck and John watched her, relief in his eyes.

Guardians don't usually reveal themselves to their charges until they're between the ages of 15-25, but usually they will reveal themselves when their charge is even younger.

Once the Guardian reveals him or herself to their charge they begin to form a bond with each other. It can get to the place where the Guardian and the Charge can hear each others thoughts and feel each others emotions. Sometimes it is so intense that if one is hurt the other can feel their pain. Guardians can put a wall up and block out their charge and vise versa, but they usually never do that as it causes emotional and physical pain for both of them to be separated like that.

If Guardians and their charges have a child, the child is human. There are rare cases where the child will be half human or even a Guardian. For cases like that you must obtain permission to have a character like that.

Death can separate a Guardian and their Charge, but usually if a Charge dies their Guardian will willingly give up their soul so that way they can join their Charge. Neither can truly live without the other.

Guardians can’t fall in love with each other, humans can’t fall in love with another's Guardian, but humans can fall in love with other humans. There are cases where a human will refuse to accept its Guardian and fall in love with another human. In instances like this the Guardian suffers the most horrible heartbreak and physical illness. What is worse of all is when a Guardian is rejected by their Charge they no longer are able to die when their Charge does. They are damned to live life forever, alone. There are very few times when a rejected Guardian will eventually find some one else with whom they are able to bond with and die with. Sometimes there have been Guardians who will literally forsake their Charge because of rejection.

On second thought.. Put "Love Unknown" there instead ;).

There are Fallen Angels. Fallen Angels are outcasts among their kind and are damned to be alone for the rest of their existence. If a Guardian were to fall to this rank their Charge will be taken away from them forever. Because of this there are very few Fallen Angels, as Guardians would never desire to have their Charge taken away. There are three ways one can fall to this position:
1. If a Guardian forsakes his Charge he is damned to be a Fallen Angel.
2. If a Guardian were to shed innocent blood he falls to this position.
3. If a Guardian were to kill another Guardian or another Charge without a just cause.
