Introduction
This stone held the power of the universe, and upon receiving its protectors, it gave them each a Zodiac Sign, and a power that went along with the sign. Leo, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Each symbol had a Guardian to protect it. Each Guardian had learned how to harness the element of the Zodiac sign, for their own advantage. For centuries, these twelve have protected the Zodiac Stone with their lives. Until the day a demon had emerged from a parallel universe known as Ioka. This demon and his followers tore through the village of the Zodiac, stealing the Zodiac Stone from the Guardians. Tearing away memories. The Guardians of the Zodiac, were left with no memory of anything.
For a thousand years, the Zodiac Stone laid in the hands of the demon. The demon, trying to use the power of the Zodiac Stone to kill off Earth. The Guardians have all had families, died, and let the next generation do the same, all while the powers of the Zodiac get passed down from generation to generation, just waiting to be called upon.
Now the year has come, it is 2012, and the Zodiac Stone has chosen it's new Guardians. Sending out powerful signals, the stone has activated the Guardian's powers, calling to them, calling them to Ioka. But the demon knows about the reawakening of the Guardians, and has sent his followers to stop them at all costs, and to gain the Guardians' Powers to use the Zodiac Stone. Only the Guardians can see these black figures, and only they can kill them, but the followers, known as Demoirs, can kill humans, and other mortal things.
It is up to the Twelve Guardians to stop the demon, but will they be able to figure out who they really are in time, or is Earth doomed? You make the story.

He looked over at his charge again when he heard her groaning. Mistelle woke up with a major headache and was feeling totally out of it like she hadn't slept in ages. Where in the world was she? She opened her eyes slowly and saw she was in her room. The next thing she saw was James on the phone with someone. She recognized him immediately for he was one of the family's loyal bodyguards. She frowned as she looked at him. Seeing how she was the target of one of her father's enemies once, she should have known she had a bodyguard. Still, it irritated her to have one because she wanted to live a normal life without her parents' influence. They discarded her so easily so she figured she could do the same.
James ignored Mistelle for a moment and focused on the conversation he was having.
Taylor smiled Evergreen Park was a good idea. “That works great with me.” Beth has packed some supplies for Vade in a small duffel bag. “I suggest we try and avoid any fights while we try to meet at the park, sound like a plan? I hope my grandson will wake up around the time we enter the park.” His wife gave him a nod indicating that Vade has everything he needs right now.
Hoshi smiles briefly when Lexi says, she's babbling, but she's not an idiot. She's relieved that the woman isn't annoyed by her drumbeat of worries and concerns. Most people tend to find her talking to be grating, wishing she'd just get to the point and move on.
Hoshi nods when Lexi says, "it was terrifying yet... exhilarating." though she finds it more the former and less the latter. She feels as if she's carrying the weight of the entire world on her shoulders. No worse, she's carrying the hopes and aspirations of the entire Order on her shoulders and that's her biggest fear. If she fails, she fails them as well, and that's something she just can't do.
Hoshi listens silently nodding as Lexi explains her take on the situation and then, "How did you discover what you were?"
Hoshi blushes at that question. Of the many things that have happened today, that's one of the most annoying. "Hold on," she says reaching into her bag and pulling out a hand mirror. She climbs out of her seat and kneels closely to Lexi, "I'll show you. Thought I'm not sure it'll work."
Hoshi takes a deep breath and slowly slides the cover off the mirror revealing her reflection. For a few brief seconds Hoshi just stares nervously at her reflection, "She's gonna think I am crazy if nothing happens." And nothing does. Hoshi makes a couple of silly faces in the mirror, "Come on." she mutters. Finally she gives up, "I guess it's not gonna do anything." she says looking at Lexi.
"Haaaaeeeeeeeeeee!" a voice comes from the mirror. "Those faces were..."
Startled, Hoshi drops the mirror and it lands face down, silencing the reflection.
"I saw that in a river and it talked to me." she says carefully sliding the mirror closed. "Sometimes it talks to me, sometimes not. I don't know why." she slides the mirror in her uniform jacket pocket. "But, it's creepy."
"I guess it's not gonna do anything." Hoshi says looking over, causing Ciara to smile back and relax. Just before she opens her mouth to reply a voice comes from the mirror "Haaaaeeeeeeeeeee! Those faces were..." causing her to jump slightly and laugh.
"I saw that in a river and it talked to me." Hoshi says carefully sliding the mirror closed. "Sometimes it talks to me, sometimes not. I don't know why." she slides the mirror in her uniform jacket pocket. "But, it's creepy."
"It certainly gave me a start there... But what did it mean about those faces? They were what?" she asks, confused but interested. "I'm not really too sure about my 'gifts' but I know they're not exactly something I want to try using when I'm in a plane." she giggles nervously, the idea of causing a windstorm within the compartment terrifying her.
"I think, if I understood Master's Kuromiya and Agi, that my 'gift' has something to do with wind and fog." Hoshi sits a little closer to Lexi, "When I was little and I was hiding from work and stuff sometimes a fog would appear and hide me from the monks. And sometimes a breeze would appear that would kill all the torches in the room to hide me in the dark. So, I think my gift has something to do with air." she pulls the mirror from her pocket making sure not to open it, "This is not a gift. I think it's a curse of some kind. And even if it isn't, I hope it goes away."
Hoshi slides the mirror back in her pocket. "I think you're an air person too. I can sense a scent, kind of like a pure mountain breeze running through the trees. IF I'm wrong, I apologize. I just sensed it about you. Maybe...maybe that's why we wound up together?" she asks an air of uncertainty and hop in her voice.
Astrea had not noticed the cut along Skye's arms if not for the paramedics tending to it and now she felt really bad having made Skye use her injured arm to help her out of the bus. "Well it's a good thing your family is picking you up. You are very lucky.", the tinge of jealousy still fresh in her heart, "Though if they're coming by car, I think you'd be better of seeing them in another street.", she continued. The street is, to put in a delicate manner, ruined to the point of being impassable. How the paramedics were able to squeeze though steel, earth and asphalt debris was beyond her.
"Well... I guess I'd better be off then.", tucking her feet beneath her to get a good kick to stand with her back now aching terribly, "I can guess you don't like doctors or perhaps the hospital but...", she noticed Skye's immediate deflection of topic when Astrea asked her inquired about her well being, "But it's better to be safe than sorry. You never know if had yoiu not seen a doctor you would have found out that your backbone was injured because of this and because you did not see him your back bone might develop into a slip disk at the later stage of your life. Or it could lead to some nerve problems that might later leave you handicapped below the waist. Or the bones are of-placed causing you to walk abnormally and because of that you are shunned by society for the rest of your days.". Her worrisome min d returning back to normal as her unusual calm demeanor melted away. "I'm going to see the doctor soon and I really hope you would see one too."
As she struggled to get up her arms grabbing the bark of the tree now blooming with life as it's bald canopy is now filled with leaves, the concrete flooring beneath her began to rumble as like before and the earth sprung out from beneath her in an instant. Pushing her off the tree and almost to a standing position. Unlike the other spikes however, this one was half the height of Astrea and didn't have the sharp edges of the others but at the top had the form of a chair except that the base of it was angled downwards. Almost as if it was made for someone who wanted to lean against something or sit but not really sit or to support someone to get up. This caused another mass panic as the small crowd that had gathered, curious of these earth made road traps, scatter away. Even the police and news reporters that had just arrived did a full one eighty and drove far from there. It was however the only earth 'pike' to form as the rumblings had stopped as quickly as it started.
Her dave deathly pale, "I'm dead...", she thought with her body now paralyzed with fear as she leaned partially against and on this earth formation. She could never have imagined what it meant when someone was having a near death experience their life would flash before their eyes. Now she does. It was almost as surreal as when she saw the vision of the life of the tree she had rested against. "Who's going to take after my plants back at home? Who would take care of my home? Who would answer the doorstep to accept the delivery of her white persian melon tea that she had ordered online?", such thoughts were amongst other things floating about her worried head. What brought her to her senses however was Skye. Here was a young girl with her whole life left to live, unknowingly was of the same age, and if she was going to die then at the very least she would save her life from her fate. After all, who would miss an orphan.
"Skye...", her voice soft before she cleared her throat, "... you see the bakery shop a few blocks from here? I want you... to run for it!", she exclaimed. Astrea too attempted to make a bolt from there but the earth made deformed chair grew and pushed her off, making her trip over the cracked concrete flooring. Her blouse at her back ripped slightly to expose the the mark of virgo along her lower back and curved along her hips. http://www.tattoojohnny.com/product/AXF-01185/2a212a0343d1824b2a847c0955bf89de/searchpage/1/image/22/prods/JJF-01322,AAF-00287,AAF-00285,JPF-00487,SOF-00290,SOF-00284,DPF-00194,PVF-00775,JJF-00237,DPF-00198,AAF-03995,MUF-00027,PHF-00487,ANF-00034,PHF-00922,AAF-00290,AAF-00291,TDF-00041,LAF-00057,AXF-01098,PVF-00811,AXF-01185,PSF-00026,BIF-00115,
"When my power manifested earlier, I got a few cuts here and there and was knocked out" she pulls back her hair slightly to show some faint cuts and spattering of blood. "Didn't have time to clean much of it up, but anyways when I woke up I hit my head on these. Honestly don't know where they came from but..." she pauses feeling a little uneasy for a moment "It feels like its part of me, and I'm part of it."
She smiled a little as her focus became entirely directed at the scales, both of her eyes flickering as they seem to drift away before closing completely while her hands rest against the surface of the scales. As her right hand rests against the light side and the left rests against the dark side both eyes suddenly snap open revealing that her right eye is a dark emerald green, while her left eye has brightened to become an almost ethereal sapphire blue.
"Balance in all things, that is what we strive for. Yet we never attain it." Her voice sounds as if its coming from nowhere and everywhere within the cabin as a light breeze now fills it, blowing Ciara's hair back and forth. "We are a child of the Zodiac, we are Libra. The eternal balance."
Her body shakes slightly as the scales are each filled with billowing clouds "Maybe you're right..." her hands pull back as if burned by the scales as her eyes return to normal and she flashes a crooked smile, seeming as if not entirely aware of what just happened. "Our signs complement each other, as well as being Air signs we're able to offer each other what our signs lack in ourselves. At least that's what I hope. Us two meeting can't have just been chance, can it? It being us two, I mean out of all of us."

The street looked like something poked it all over, like a pencil going through paper. But this was something way stronger than a pencil. What could it be? She ran to the scene, looking at everyone. The Paramedics were there, making sure that everyone was okay. Suddenly the ground started to shake, Isis falling on her but. Looking over she noticed two women by a tree, a tree that should've been dead. Narrowing her eyes, she noticed a large pillar of earth ascend into the air, almost like it was helping one of the girls up.
Then, they ran. Something must be happening. Taking no time, Isis followed the two girls. Something felt familiar about them, and she wanted to know what. Curiosity killed the cat, but maybe this time it will save a Leo.

Officer Harris answered each phone call with a calm and poise that should be expected from a 911 operator. He collected as much information about each person's trauma as needed then gave them an assurance that the police would be on there way and that everything would be alright. The man found it rather naive to promise such a thing but a person in need treads a thin line between panic and sanity. It was better to give out meaningless promises then to instill fear. Harris was becoming accustomed to odd complaints and disturbing reports, this was St. Louis after all... one of the top five most dangerous cities in the world. So when a young woman called screaming into the phone about a murder near the river, Harris reacted as he should... with a calm precision and evaluation of the report.
"Sergeant!" Harris called over to the gruff looking man named Sgt. Cooper. The sergeant approached Harris, his bulky frame towering over the young officer.
"I have a call in for what appears to be a homicide near the south bridge. It's apparently a mess there."
"Usually are... Ok, send a patrol over and lets clean it up."
Harris began to make the call when another operator yelled out a similar report. Then another... and another. To the men and women in Precinct 8, it would appear as if East St. Louis was being attacked by wild dogs. All the reports were of people being torn to shreds... horrific murders that made no sense. Sgt. Cooper's eyes were fierce trying to analyze the situation. Harris was the first to speak up,
"Sir. If these reports are true... then we need help now."
"Get your gun. Everyone get your damn gun!"
"Well it's a good thing your family is picking you up. You are very lucky. Though if they're coming by car, I think you'd be better of seeing them in another street."
Skye shrugged. She had never really considered herself 'lucky' to have a Mum that would come to the rescue after a bus accident. She wondered if she would still be as close to her family when she moved out, as she presumed Astrea had. She had always presumed she would be closer, seeing as she saw them less, but that might not be the case.
"Probably," she agreed, looking around at the broken pavement. "I can.." she was about to say take the bus home, but quickly stopped herself. "I can meet up with them somewhere," she finished.
"Well... I guess I'd better be off then," Astrea said, and a tinge of sadness swept through Skye. Even though she didn't know the woman, she seemed lovely, and she supposed bus crashes tended to bring people closer. The next thing Astrea said surprised her.
"I can guess you don't like doctors or perhaps the hospital but... But it's better to be safe than sorry. You never know if had you not seen a doctor you would have found out that your backbone was injured because of this and because you did not see him your back bone might develop into a slip disk at the later stage of your life. Or it could lead to some nerve problems that might later leave you handicapped below the waist. Or the bones are of-placed causing you to walk abnormally and because of that you are shunned by society for the rest of your days." Skye blushed, as she didn't know she had made it so obvious. The net thing she realized was that the girl as pretty smart - Skye certainly didn't know that much fancy words off of the top of her head. Skye finished her sentence with a, "I'm going to see the doctor soon and I really hope you would see one too."
"Thanks, I will," Skye replied, smiling at Astrea.
Astrea slowly got up, and Skye reached out to help her, but she managed to get up by herself. The earth began to rumble and Skye pread out her legs slightly and held her arms apart to steady herself. A shard of earth sprung from the ground, though smaller and not as sharp as the others. The crowd soon noticed, and panicked slightly, but the rumbling had stopped and no more pikes sprouted.
Astrea's face grew pale.
"Skye..." she said, her voice soft but cautious. "... You see the bakery shop a few blocks from here? I want you..." she paused for a moment, before yelling, To run for it!" Skye didn't have a chance to react, as Astrea bolted off, and Skye quickly followed her orders to reach the bakery. She turned around half way and saw Astrea bein half-flung by the newly formed pike. She stumbled and tripped over the concrete floor.
"Astrea!" Skye called as she ran, turning back. She skidded to a halt and turned around, hoping nothing more eventful would happen.
Then it started to rain.
Skye wanted to curse the weather, curse Scotland for it's terrible weather, and curse everything at that point. Though it did help to make it seem more dramatic as she ran through the rain towards the stranger.
Though drama wasn't what she really wanted right now.

This was different though, no crying, no yelling, and (hopefully) no drunk mother. Walking up the couch, she cleared her throat, breaking the awkward silence. Her mother didn't look at, but instead handed the book to her. "Read it."
That was all she said. And with that she grabbed her glass and head into her bedroom. Looking down at the book, the Leo symbol was burned into the leather that bounded it. She sat down, and carefully opened the book. Inside, a letter fell out, addressed to Isis. She opened it;
My dear sweet Isis.
This may come as a shock to you, but you must read this carefully, taking in each word thoughtfully. Do not put this down, and do not, whatever you do, ignore what you are about to read. This is your life that I will be speaking of.
You are the Leo Guardian. I know that sounds stupid, but you must believe me. Your mother does not know this, but you are destined for something great. I am not sure what it is, for I never knew myself. I am a Leo as well, but this came after my time. Something is going to happen Isis. I am not sure when or why, or even what; but I do know that you will read this when the time comes. This book, this book of Leo, will tell you about yourself. Tell you of something great. You are a Pagan, so you know what great importance reading is. This Magic is something that we Pagans can not achieve. This is something bigger than our magic. This is Demon working. This is something known as Zodiac Power.
Isis, you must be careful. Read this book, and be ready.
Blessed Be,
River.
River...her father's Magic name. If he signed with his Magic name, than that means this was important. Isis's heart was beating. She grabbed the book and started to read. Leo was the fire sign, which would explain the fire that she suddenly could control. A demon had stolen something known as the Zodiac Stone. There it is again, but what exactly is it? She kept reading. The Stone was what the Guardians of the Zodiac protected, a powerful stone that, In the wrong hands could cause the death of an entire realm, or planet. In the right hands, could keep away evil if used to the right potential. The stone harnessed all the power of the Zodiac. Controlled all elements. It was the most powerful stone in all the realms. But it was missing. Demons known as the Demoir, stole it, wiping away the Guardian's memory. Until now.
"It's calling for us. Twelve of us." She slammed the book and headed out the door. She had to find the others.
Hoshi can tell she's fumbling with something. When she turns around, she's carrying a set of scales, not the modern kind you use to weigh yourself with, but the kind that merchants used to use to weigh gold or something else of value to determine the cost. "When my power manifested earlier, I got a few cuts here and there and was knocked out" as she gets back to her seat, she pulls back her hair she has some cuts and small bits of dried blood. "Didn't have time..." Hoshi briefly misses the last few words as she tunes out the woman focusing only on her face, she's sonfused as to why the woman hasn't washed off the blood. Her distraction is momentary and the woman's voice seeps back into her head, "It feels like its part of me, and I'm part of it." Hoshi nods as if she has been listening and understands every thing the woman has been saying.
The woman closes her eyes and lowers her hands onto the scales. As she does. Hoshi notices for the first time that the scales seem to have a dark side and a light side to them. Hoshi leans in a bit to get a better look, her focus shifting back-and-forth between the woman's face and her hands. The woman quickly opens her eyes and Hoshi leaps back, partially shocked by how quickly her eyes opened and partially because of their change in color; one eye is now green, while the other blue. "Whaaaa!" she silently releases in amazement.
"Balance in all things, that is what we strive for. Yet we never attain it." She says, her voice possessing an almost mystical quality, as if she is in some sort of trance and a supernatural being has taken hold of her. "We are a child of the Zodiac, we are Libra. The eternal balance." Hoshi slides a little further away from her as she speaks.
Then as suddenly as she entered her trance, she seems to snap out of it, "Maybe you're right. Our signs complement each other, as well as being air signs we're able to offer each other what our signs lack in ourselves. At least that's what I hope. Us two meeting can't have just been chance, can it? It being us two, I mean out of all of us."
Hoshi nods in agreement, staring at the woman, her mouth agape. Then she shakes her head a bit, "Right." she says shaking it again, "There's probably a reason why we met. I guess you could say we are similar." she says beginning to unbutton the cuffs of her long sleeved white uniform top, "Do you have anything like this?" she says, finally unbuttoning her cuffs and lifting them up, revealing the two signs of the zodiac, one on the back of each wrist, "Do you have a birth mark similar? Not like mine, but like yours?"
She moves a little from side to side, clicking her tongue for a moment as she thinks "Well... Yeah... Kinda like that" she mumbles before sighing and turns round so her back is facing Hoshi and lifts up her shirt till her back is showing. "I used to get nicknamed Athena because of my balanced view and this birthmark didn't help" she grumbles, jabbing her thumb at the Zodiac sign for Libra that was squarely placed between her shoulder blades.
She lets her shirt fall down again before leaning back in the chair.
"Yeah that's mine, bit out of way but its nice enough. um, is something wrong? You've seemed a little, well different since I showed you the scales? Whats up?" she asks, genuinely concerned, her brow furrowing slightly with worry.
Astrea may have had a head star but her legs were still weak and it didn't take much for Skye to outrun her to the bakery. She had chosen the bakery for the simplest reason. In an earthquake the only thing you want to fall over your head is soft and when you compare the other shops that sells appliances, furniture and antiques, bread is the obviously choice. And should you be trapped under the rubble when the shop collapse, at least you are surrounded by freshly baked bread. Delicious, delectible, captivating, soul reviving, soft and crunchy bread. It's also healthy unlike those fat filled greasy burgers.
In any case, Astrea thought her life was over when her face met the cold concrete pavement. Instead all she felt was pain, fear and now humiliation as rain started to pour. Having survived the bus crash and with the whole place starting to clam down Astrea would thought the worst was over. At the very least she would have helped a young girl live long enough to see her family and the next sunrise again. That was until she looked up and saw Skye running back towards her. No one could tell at that moment which could be more redder, her face or her bruised and probably broken nose from having met with the pavement.
"What do you think you're doing?! Run to the bakery! Save yourself!", she exclaimed as she clamored to get to her feet. She was happy that Skye came back for her no doubt but only a brave soul or a complete idiot would run back to save her now especially when no one knows when or how these spikes would appear. In a battle where victory would cost half an army, it is acceptable where a losing would result in the lost of the entire army. Oh she could see it now in her mind, a news report on television of two girls dead along a cracked pavement filled with rubble. A shot of a girl falling and the other girl that had ran ahead of her turning back to help this fallen girl. They both however died as a multiple earth formation rose and smack them about like a rag doll. "You're an idiot you know that!", she exclaimed, surprising even herself with her loud voice, " But thanks... for coming back for me.", she ended with a rare smile. She would have looked cute if not for the wound at her eye brow opening again with blood dripping along her cheeks.
(ooc Its okay if you guys decided to meet now. But just know that in the news there is an earthquake of small magnitude happening in Scotland where Skye and Astrea are in the middle of. Its funny cause the misery they are in are cause by themselves. And UniqueYetUnoriginal, I don't mind if you take control over what happens to our characters. I feel bad having to lead the way. Feel free to do what you wish to my character. XD)
"What do you think you're doing?! Run to the bakery! Save yourself!" Astrea yelled, but Skye just took a deep breath and shook her head as she ran. She probably would have found it humorous, if it were a different situation, how Astrea had said Save yourself! like in the movies. Astrea hakily stood to her feet, Skye skidded to a halt beside her and grabbed the girls arm to help her up. She hadn't even known it was possible to get earthquakes in Scotland, since they weren't at the edge of a plate and all that stuff. Proves how useful school is, she thought smugly.
"You're an idiot you know that!" Astrea exclaimed loudly. Skye just smiled at her lightly, trying to ignore the blood running down the girl's face. Yes, an idiot she may be, but since she controlled that water, and probably the earth beasts - as she had just nicknamed them - they probably wouldn't want to hurt her.. right? Well, that was her excuse for turning back.
" But thanks... for coming back for me." Skye smiled at her warmly, before shaking her head lightly, as if to say, No bother. She then took a deep breath and grabbed the girl's arm, "Let's go!" she said, running towards the bakery. A giggle escaped her lips, a habit of hers in scary situations.
(OOC: Haha, it's completely fine! I didn't go futher, because I'm not sure how long we can stretch this until we all meet up. XD)
"Yeah that's mine, bit out of way but its nice enough. um, is something wrong? You've seemed a little, well different since I showed you the scales? Whats up?" the woman asks.
"Oh...ummmm..." Hoshi stammers briefly trying to collect herself and think of something to say, "It's...well...it's probably nothing. Well, nothing you don't already know." she releases a nervous, breathy exhale. "It's just... well... your eyes." she stops, shakes her head slightly, thinking about what she just saw, "It's just that... Your eyes changed color." she pauses, looking back at the woman, "I think... I think your eyes changed color." Hoshi ponders that thought briefly, "Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's the stress of the day. Do your eyes change color like that a lot?" she blurts out. She is sure she saw the woman's eyes change color, whether it was because of the mists on the scales or a clever parlor trick she is sure the woman's eyes changed colors.

"Do your eyes change color like that a lot?" she suddenly blurts out causing a slight giggle from Ciara.
"um... not that I've ever noticed... I wonder if that is part of my power? Did anything else happen?" she asks, her excitement overriding her confused fear at these things having happened without her knowledge, sitting with her legs crossed in front of her on the plane seat.

Her mother gave her a plane ticket, "You are Aquamarine... the Pisces Guardian." With that she walked out of the cave, leaving Aqua there to ponder what had just happened. She looked at the plane ticket. Scotland was the destination. She sighed and rubbed her hand through her head, what on earth was she going to do. So many questions and her mother didn't know that much, just she was a guardian...of the Zodiac?
((sorry for not posting... been on vacation... [still am] and has had writers block... so sorry its so short~~))
Mistelle doesn't lose her frown. She had no idea what James was talking about but assumed she was leaving soon. Something had to be serious if he was having her meet up with someone unknown to her. What in the world was happening? She would find out soon enough. Getting up, she walked over to her closet and placed her hand on the doorknob of the door. However when she did this, the knob instantly crystalized. Mistelle, shocked beyond belief, gasped and walked backwards until she sat down on her bed.
~This can't be real, this can't be real!~ she thought to herself.
James saw what happened and was glad he came prepared. Mrs. Ordana had similar troubles when her power first came out. Pulling out a couple 'special' gloves from his pant pocket, he placed them on Mistelle's lap. However, she was still too shocked to do anything.
Vade didn’t have the most restful sedated sleep anyone can have, ever since he lost conscious he kept hearing the thundering sound of a horse running around in his head it was quite irritating. He moved his head around and open his eyes he still saw blackness right I have a bandage over my eye. Vade still felt a bit groggy in this state I doubt I can resist much right now Moving his hand around blindly he hit something right next him, curious of what it is he continue moving his hand all over the object what is this some sort of bag? He heard his grandpa talking to someone on the phone “What is going on…” he'd whisper to himself.
Astrea thanked the baker multiple times and apologized for entering the premises all drenched and bloodied before he cowered back under the cashier counter to hide. Honestly she wanted to join the poor bald man but she doubt the three of them could fit in there. So she had to put up a brave front for the young girl next to her. Their race to the bakery, if you call being dragged a race, was uneventful if not for the prevailing rain and Skye's giggling. Why she even had the nerve to giggle at the situation they were in, Astrea thought angrily but she could not stay angry at her for long. She may be a stranger but she grew to like her. Maybe it was because they escaped a life endangering situation together she thought but regardless of the reason, she knew if she sould spend more time with Skye they might be the very best of friends.
Leaning her small frame against the wall, she let her bruised nose be filled with the smell of freshly baked bread. Rubbing it, she knew it wasn;t broken and the smell of butter, flour and everything in the bakery helped rejuvenate her senses. It help reminded her that she was alive. The warmth from the oven also helped warm her wet and shivering body. Once her wound had stopped bleeding, she payed for a croissant, "You want one?", Astrea asked as she took a nibble. 'Sweet nectar of heaven. It taste so good!', she thought and handed the untouched side of the croissant to Skye. Having drank only a tea for breakfast it was understandable now why she was weak and slow to recover from the crash. Walking to the store window, she watched as the police slowly inching their way towards the wrecked bus.
She was about to take the next bite when something hit her. She could feel the earth pikes or earth mounds as she decided to call it or earth beasts as Skye named it. Not the pain that is associated from having been thrown from it but more like a feeling of control. When she fell she felt pain, but that was not what she started to 'feel' about the earth mound that threw her. Still very weak when she wanted to get away from the tree, she silently wanted help to get up and somehow that particular earth mound felt as if it rose up to help her up. She couldn't describe it other than it felt as if those earth mounds were like her hands giving her a gentle push. Picture if you could your whole body tucked comfortably under a bed cover with only your toes sticking out at the other end. You can't do anything but wiggle your toes. That is more or less what the earth mounds felt like but she couldn't figure out how or why. She must be going crazy she thought cause it just doesn't make any sense. It's illogical and that would have meant that the whole cause of the accident was her fault. She giggled at the thought that her worrisome mind was concocting up.
The fall or the bus crash must have caused some cerebral damage to cause her to have some continued hallucination ever since she rested against that dead tree she thought. Now she knew she had to go to a doctor. Taking the next bite as she stared towards the earth mound that threw her, she reached her hands out towards it with her palms open. As if playing with the thought that she had control over it, she imagined herself crushing a soft fruit of some kind as she closed her hands into a fist. At first nothing happened and she giggled, laughing at herself for coming up with such a ludicrous thought but then the earth mound blew into smithereens. Dropping the unfinished croissant to the floor she stared at it in disbelief. Turning to Skye, "Did you... see that?...", she asked before turning to the earth mound that stopped the bus dead in it's tracks. Unlike the one that exploded this particular mound was big. Reaching her hands towards it as before, she closed it into a fist. Like before nothing happen but then it too blew up into pieces. "No... No... I can't... That doesn't make any sense... I can't...", her breathing now quickened as now with both hands she reached up to two other earth mounds on the road. Closing her hands into a fist, they too burst into rubble. "I... have control over these things?...", she spoke in nearly a whisper as she watched the policemen scatter like before. "What is going on?... What am I?".
(Sorry it took so long to reply. I honestly thought I killed the RP with my post when no one replied. And I wasn't trying to stretch it, was just trying to build up the suspense and getting her to realise this was all her doing.)

She kept running. After a while, she stopped and took a breather. She leaned against a tree and closed her eyes. Images of the stone started to flash through her mind. What did this all mean? Suddenly, faces of eleven people flashed through her mind. She opened them...their faces looked familiar. The girl that she had just met was there. They all were connected by one thing... Zodiac.
Suddenly, Isis opened her eyes and stepped away from the tree, she whipped around and gasped. The tree was on fire!
She backed away as the tree engulfed the next building, a small department store. Isis screamed, "NO!"

Sliding to a stop, she saw Isis. She grabbed Isis back. Aria thought about what to do. She felt something behind her. A flora shoppe. It was calling to her. Her eyes turned to it and she felt a connection. She allowed her instincts to take over and her hands rose. Soon large vines slid out from the windows and doors. She noticed a fire hydrant. The tough vines wrapped itself around the screws and unscrewed it. Water sprayed from the hydrant and she willed the vines around the spout and the water aimed toward the building and the fire. Aira's head hurt but it was working.
Setting

Closing her eyes, she imagined the fire going down. It was working, she could feel heat all around, almost like it was going into her. Water was going everywhere, making it easier. When she felt cooled, she opened her eyes and let out a sigh of relief. She looked at the girl, "Thank you so much! You saved my life and probably many others!"
She looked at the tree and the shop, yes, they were burnt, but it could've been a lot worse. Sirens filled her head as the fire fighters arrived and the police. Isis looked at the girl and gasped. "C'mon, we need to get you out of here before they notice you have horns!"
