Personality
Hiroshi, to most people he is just an other friendly wealthy business owner. He is quiet and tends to be charitable and helpful to those in his community. For the most part he is a welcomed friend just about every were he goes. However behind his kind public standing, he is the father of death. Whether it is assassination, smuggling, racketeering or other questionable business, except drugs, he has his hand in it. Not afraid to get his hands dirty, with his own body count around Error Data not found in Japan.

When not being the people person for the public, he is a fun traditional protective father figure. Not just to his daughter, who is his whole world, but to all of his friends and Yakuza members. He is extremely protective of those close to him. On top of his power, love for family, and his over protectiveness, his wife past away which left him broken hearted, which lead to him being more protective and more vengeful. Cross him and death will most likely be the last thing he will grant you, instead he will probably have you tortured, up to and including going after your entire bloodline regardless of age.

【Armed And Dangerous...】
“Do anything for family... ANYTHING.”

Style
Since taking control from his now disease father, he hasn't done much kill. On the occasion were he does get to dirty his hands, it depends on why he is killing but most of the time, a bullet to the head tends to do the job. Or a knife to the throat, but his favorite, the "accidental" death, including a trick from the Russians, Ricin. One fun one is 10CCs of oxygen into a patient IV.

Load Out
Simple, my guards, a trusted custom colt 1911, and a knife. Who needs more when my guards and I are weapons.

Skills
Martial Artist, trained by some of the best Japan has to offer before coming to the states. He also fell in love with horses and mounted combat including mounted and non mounted archery. As part of his training Hiroshi learned several meditation techniques. To help with his meditation he learned how to play the Shakuhachi Flute. Not that it needs to be mentioned but with all the training and the family business, he is also pretty good at a range of firearms, and even some big toys. (artillery, tanks and the like, thanks to his family connections to the Japanese defense force.)

Equipment
Driven around the city in a black Panamera Turbo S Executive AWD. To special events a custom black limo. and for the out of town trips, a custom black Land Rover LR4. The second most important thing he owns, his ancestors samurai weapons and armor.

Weaknesses
His dead wife
His Daughter
His honor

【Rap Sheet...】
“All I have left is family, attack one of us you attack all of us. Attack my daughter you attack me.”

History
Hiroshi Yukimura was born to a wealthy family in Tokyo, Japan. His childhood, if you can call it that was short lived. From a young age he was training in mental conditioning, and martial arts. His parents always told him it was to prepare him for the cruel world ahead. The first job was at age 12, a young boy from the school was causing to many problems for the family, including disrespecting and trying to shame Hiroshi. His parents had him beat the kid as he and his family were camping, then cover it up by pushing him down a hill. Turns out it was a rival family and this was a way of sending them a message, the kid died by the time he reached the bottom of the hill.

This sort of conditioning continued into adulthood. As he got older his training, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, intensified. His days as a teen and young adult were spent training or on jobs as his dad slowly brought him through the ranks of the family business. Between the training and the jobs it helped Hiroshi distance himself from the job and then deal with any effects afterwards. One lesson he learned real well was family comes first period. Every thing in life can be overcome if a family stands together. On one job he encountered something his years of training never prepared him for, a chaotic soul in the body of a goddess. The job should have been simple, get into an rivals casino, burn it down well making it look like an accident. On the way to the kitchen he spotted a beautiful girl about his age sneaking around. Instead of finishing the job he followed her, and as they left out a side door the police move raid the casino.

Over the course of the next few month Hiroshi spent as much time as possible with her. Even though it was against his fathers wishes he married her a year later, with his father's support. (Only cause of how good she was for him and that's what you do for family.) Two years after the marriage they gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and named her Momoe, "a hundred blessings". Unfortunately those blessings came at a cost, at Momoes fifth birthday, her mother was attacked and killed. Fortunately the attacker hit a party of yakuza, and was swiftly taken care of. To protect his only son and granddaughter, the family moved to New York City. Three years after the move Hiroshi's father messed up a job that got most of the people involved killed or captured, due to this dishonor he did the only thing possible, he committed seppuku.

This of course left Hiroshi to raise his daughter and run the yakuza. He did everything he could to be the best father he could to her, getting her the best education, having her guarded, tending her events, etc. But being a father was not the only job he had to focus on, he now had to pickup were his father left off. He started by ending their drug business and setup an alliance. Running the family in the states took a lot of time away from his daughter, so to try and balance it out, he brought her to a lot of his parties and other events, keeping her away from his real work. Now that she is older he has decided to start letting her in on his work. Letting here seat in on some of the meeting and ride along on some of the smaller jobs.

So begins...

As he put on his tie, Hiroshi couldn't help but remember how hard it was for him when he first got married, and how she used to have to help him. But that was years ago, now its just an other everyday thing. While he put on his jacket, he noticed the clock in the mirror, time for the party, time to act like dad and force Momoe to yet an other event. This is going to be the worst part of the worst part of the night, to make his daughter go to something she has no interest in going to. Dad always said it was good for the family, and his wife was normally their to be with Momoe.

He walked slowly to her door and with a heavy sigh, he knocked "Yukimura-san, Daisuke desu." "And What did I tell you about that formal stuff. What?" She asked as she opened the door, leaning against the frame with a frown and a hand on her hip. "Its time to go." As she rolled her eyes. "Terrific." She said and kicked the door closed behind her with a loud slam, he looked at her and smiled. She was so beautiful, as always, a spiting image of her mother. "Anata wa totemo utsukushīdesu. When the party is over I will take you anywhere you want to go, do anything you want to do, Yakusoku shimasu."

He understood that she didn't like this formal events that she was always being dragged to but he couldn't wait. This was going to be a chance to talk with Ric Don Falcone in person, Hiroshi had grown to respect him a lot. Shortly after forming the alliance Ric took a bullet but fought through it to complete the job and help his men. Now is the time to build on the respect and move forward with this unheard of two family alliance. Then there was Mrs. Falcone, Ric beautiful wife, the few times he has met her, she was always so kind and welcoming. She never seemed to judge, or be off put by him or the added work this new alliance put on her husband. Growing up he always know that it was the women in the family that were the stronger ones, always taking care of everyone and worrying if their husbands/sons were coming home. Other then them, he hated these events, to many people, to many chances for things to go wrong.

He then made his way to their private parking garage and to his limo were his men were waiting to escort him and his daughter to the party. The driver was already in the limo ready to go, and there were two men flanking the open rear passenger side door with two ladies flanking them. The ladies are Momoes guards for events and time were male guards cant or shouldn't be with her. The guards bowed as Hiroshi neared, he then turned and waited for his daughter to get in first.

Though the trip would be short he dreaded it cause he would have to she the pain it brought his princess, which broke his heart every time.

"Anata wa totemo utsukushīdesu. When the party is over I will take you anywhere you want to go, do anything you want to do, Yakusoku shimasu."

Momoe rolled her eyes, hearing her father's voice behind the door. She completely missed him show up, "Nan demo...." She muttered as she slipped on her shoes. He was being extra nice today she noticed. Telling her how beautiful she looked and promising to take her wherever she wanted. That worked when she was a kid, she used to love spending time with her father, whether they were walking through the shops in Harajuku or practicing sword fighting in the mountains in Okinawa she was a really daddy's girl, but as she got older, she realized all of it was just a way to ease the guilt for what Grandfather would do or say.

She grabbed her purse, and before slipping it inside, she sent a quick text to Ivan.

[[In to the fires of Mordor...]]

She gave herself a once over and sighed. This was so not her.

She walked out and to the limo where Father and her detail were waiting. Kanna and Hitomi, two not very pretty women, but lately her father wanted only women guards, which worked for her, that was something he did differently the Grandfather, she was stuck with Daisuke, who, while the two women weren't much for conversation, was about as interesting as a puddle of water. Always so formal. At least the women actually listened to her when she asked not to be so formal, they even dressed in casual clothing when she was out on normal days, Daisuke was always in black, like the damned secret service, and as subtle as a train wreck. Thankfully, he was at home now, and didn't follow her around anymore, the last time, he'd 'lost' her in Chinatown.

A subtle smirk touched her lips at the thought of that day, she'd took off full sprint when he offered to take her for ice cream and wound up finding the love of her life. Funny, she never did get that ice cream.

Her expression darkened with one look at her father as she ducked into the limo.

it was quiet for a moment, as her father climbed in and the began to ride toward the party.
Image

"Anata wa, watashi wa kono koto o migi ni ikitakunai shitte iru?" She asked, her face screwed up a bit as she spoke but they both knew it was rhetorical. Of course she didn't want to go, and of course he knew it.

"What is this party even for?" She asked looking at him folding her arms, as she leaned back in the seat, wishing there was something stronger then champagne in the minibar beside her.

He studied Momoe for a few moments quietly well they rode towards the party. Then in as loving of a voice as he could, "Momoe, my sweet, strong, beautiful daughter... I know you hate going to these things, and I know you must hate me for acting like grandfather. Dragging you around like this..." He sighed as he remembered how his dad had treated her, then remembering how his wife had always been the one to give the emotional support. "Its times like this I miss your mother, she always know what to say. But I am trying, I want you to know I do what I do for you. If I could I would leave all of this behind to give you the life you deserve... But I cant, you don't just leave a life like this, that's why I do this. I must keep up the image and reputation. Please forgive me... you are the most precious thing in my life. Give me this one more party and I will do... As he tried to get his thoughts out his phone goes off. He holds up a finger and opens his phone.

A text from one of his Shateigashira, "I just got back from that new comic book store, you know the one everyone is talking about. Well it lives upto the hype, owned by a young man, who is very kind and professional. I would recommend you check it out, it maybe a good investment opportunity." He quickly text back "Mark it and I will look into it in the morning. On my way to a business party. Keep an eye on the place, I want to be the first investor."

He then put his phone away, "Sorry about that. As I was failing at saying, I love, and want to be the best father I can for you. So after this party, not only will I take you were ever you want to go but, I will owe you. I will take you any were, do anything you want." He grabbed a bottle of champagne and two glasses. Knowing they still had a little while before they arrived. He poured a glass for both of them, trying to get her to relax and tying to get a real smile from her.

"Momoe, my sweet, strong, beautiful daughter..." Momoe rolled her eyes, Here we go she thought as she looked at him, wondering what colorful amount of bullshit he was about to feed her this time.
"I know you hate going to these things, and I know you must hate me for acting like grandfather. Dragging you around like this..." Momoe could have laughed. So he knew! He knew he was acting like Grandfather, yet he did it anyway. She shook her head. She missed her mother so much right now it hurt. She would stroke her hair, sing her a sweet song, tell her everything would be alright, and not to blame Father, that he was a good man. How wrong Mother was.
"Its times like this I miss your mother, she always know what to say. But I am trying, I want you to know I do what I do for you. If I could I would leave all of this behind to give you the life you deserve... " He paused and she winched. That was the first time in a long time that he mentioned her out right. Maybe there was some merit to what he was trying to say. "But I cant, you don't just leave a life like this, that's why I do this. I must keep up the image and reputation. Please forgive me... you are the most precious thing in my life. Give me this one more party and I will do... She chuckled, tears working in her eyes as he stopped to check his phone. For a moment there, she really believed he wanted to change. He was going to be a better father, but no. Case and point, he stopped his little heart to heart for a text. "Shinjirarenai" Momoe spat, refusing to let her tears fall.

She took a note from his book and checked her phone.

Ivan missed her as much as she missed him. It's only been two weeks, it felt like forever since last she was in his arms, something she wished for desperately now.
[[Don’t worry, Baby, I’ll see you soon, I promise. ;D]]
She rolled her eyes so not to let her tears fall. She wanted out, she wanted to be done with this, she hated him, almost like she hated Grandfather...well perhaps not as much, Grandfather did things to her that even her father didn’t know, so maybe that much but still. She was beginning to hate him.
"Sorry about that. As I was failing at saying, I love, and want to be the best father I can for you. So after this party, not only will I take you were ever you want to go but, I will owe you. I will take you any were, do anything you want." He said after putting his phone away and offering her a glass of champagne and she shook her head in response. Her hand clenching her phone so tight, she thought she would break it, her foot tapped against the floor, a clear sign that she was far from happy.
Image

“Do you even hear yourself, Father? Anata wa, watashi wa anata ga watashi no shakkin ni naritai to omoimasu ka? Watashi wa anata no musume, kusoda yo!” She spat, frustrated, she smacked his hand away, causing the champagne he offered her to spill some on the carpeted floor. “I don’t want you to do anything, but to be my father, that’s all I’ve ever wanted, but clearly you’ve not had a good frame of reference.” She said bitterly. She typically didn’t act this way with her father, but the combination of her missing Ivan, sexual frustration and these old wounds, she just couldn’t hold back. Normally, she would have eased this by a little puff compliments of Kanon but she hadn’t had the time. Ornery didn’t quite cover what she was right now. "I'll go to this party, as that's what Ive always done, and I do it, only because, for some stupid reason, I still love you, that's what you do, when you love someone, you do things for them, for that reason alone, not because I owe you, or have some sort of angle, you do that with assets, Father, and contrary to popular belief, I'm not an asset of yours, I'm your daughter."

She was not going back home with him after this party, she was going somewhere, where someone knew how to love someone else, wanted her to be around, for no other reason then to be in her company, no angles, no pretense.

[[How about tonight? After this party?]]
She gave her father a spiteful glare as she sat back, turning away from him.

[[You can tear this stupid dress off me with your teeth]]

“Besides, you’ve owed me for a long time.” She added quietly as she looked out the window, watching as the city blew by, tears streaking down her face, pissed she allow him to see her cry. Grandfather would have slapped her by now for her tears alone...
She calmed herself enough after a moment, but she didn't look at him, she wouldn't.

*You think I want you to be in my debt?
**I'm your daughter, Dammit.

"I'm not an asset of yours, I'm your daughter." That felt like a dagger to Hiroshi's heart and made him speechless. “Besides, you’ve owed me for a long time.” For the first time in a long time he almost shed a tear in front of his daughter, but luckily she turned away. Unsure how to respond he sat there staring at the bad of his daughter as if she just shot him. Against his professional instinct he hits the com button, "Driver stop the car." As the limo pulls over, he puts the glasses away and turns to Momoe. "I'm sorry, enjoy your night." With that he left the limo and hopped into the back of the lead escort SUV. They then rode on towards the party. The driver lowered the divider, "So ma'am, were to? You want to go home and change before you go out?"

Hiroshi arrived a few minutes early to the party. As he left the SUV he looked down the road and sighed, his only daughter hates him as much as she hated his tyrant father. He walked into the mansion accompanied only by two of his trusted guards. Once inside he looked around for his host, and not seeing Ric, he walked over to a window looking out at the side yard. His men stood a little ways a way.

"I'm sorry, enjoy your night." Momoe watched as her father climbed out of the car. She didn’t know if she wanted to run after him, throw her arms around him and hug him, apologizing, or push him into traffic. She shook her head. She hated this, now he made her feel guilty. How unfair?
"So ma'am, were to? You want to go home and change before you go out?"
The driver called from the front and Momoe didn’t answer for a long time.
“Take me to the party.” She said after a loud sigh. She said she’d go, so she’d go. Whether she liked it or not. Maybe he really did want to change. She’d give him a chance.
The driver seemed not to understand.
“Ikimashou.” She urged and the driver nodded, sliding up the divider and pulling off to the party. Once there, she plastered on what she called her ‘dead face’ a mask of smiles of someone that she wasn’t. She spotted her father immediately, looking out of a window, forlornly.

“Father.” She said, guilt evident in her voice after she touched his shoulder. “Perhaps I was a bit harsh.” She said, nodding at a few of the people as they passed. “I mean, I meant what I said, but I know you’re not actually like Grandfather, he wouldn’t have cared how I felt, so this is a start.” She told him. “So, maybe...you could change my mind.” She said. “Prove me wrong.” She told him, her eyes watching the crowd, keeping her lips from moving too much just in case they were being watched.” Besides, I said I’d come, and you taught me that my word is my honor.” She said and flashed him a smile; it was small but genuine. She hooked her arm around his and pat his arm. “Maybe we can go for ice cream after this, like we used to?”

The mansion was quickly filling up. Guests from the top one percent of the city seemed to fill Ricardo's home like water from a rushing dam. A part of him hated this. All the faces, all the names, people he had to pretend to be happy to see. In truth there was maybe a dozen at best he was actually happy to see and most of them were related to him. Carrie hadn't gotten there yet, he'd told Wesley to alert him the moment she arrived, if she arrived. Then there was Hiroshi, the only man of honor in the den of thieves they called a profession. Ric admired and respected Hiroshi immensely. He wasn't like anyone else Ric had ever done business with let alone met. He felt almost like a relic, a hold over from a long forgotten time hidden in mist where samurai walked down the street with their fabled katanas hanging from their hip. Just, honorable, fair and loyal, all things Ric wished he could be. It was Hiroshi that showed Ric that there was a way to live this life and not be a monster, he showed him he could be a killer when he needed to if it meant saving his family.

As Ric spotted Hiroshi he wondered what he'd think, of what he had in mind. He wanted to bring him in but he needed to be sure, he couldn't risk losing a friend and ally like Hiroshi Yukimura. Beside him was a beautiful young woman, of japanese decent. It wasn't difficult for Ric to discern who she was. Hiroshi brought his daughter which was a surprise to say the least. He'd heard about her in great length, Hiroshi being a very proud father enjoyed talking about her, but he'd never actually met her. As proud as Hiroshi was, he was twice as cautious. Her being here was a great sign of respect and trust shown to him.

"Yukimura-san."

Ric said in polite greeting as he approached. Hiroshi had been quietly speaking with his daughter but turned at his approach. Ric gave a short, polite bow as was custom before raising and shaking his hand. A bow for the east and a shake of hands for the west, the union of two great men from opposite sides of the world.

"Doa de anata o mitashite inai tame no shazai wa, watashi wa anata ga kon'nani hayaku tōchaku suru yotei shite inakatta."

Ric apologized politely, in perfect Japanese. Ric remembered the day the two men shared tea shortly after Ric took power. Hiroshi was impressed he spoke his native tongue so well. Ricardo knew several languages but was proud Hiroshi approved of his pronunciation, he had never used it in conversation before that first night. Since then he had gotten plenty of practice working so closely with Hiroshi and his men.

"And this must be Momoe, your daughter?"

Ric said, turning to the young woman at Hiroshi's right. Hiroshi had told him many times how his daughter was the most beautiful woman in the world, like her late mother had been. On this night Ric would have been inclined to agree. He offered her his hand and she shook it politely.

"It's nice to finally meet you Momoe, your father talks about you often. I've been told many times how beautiful you were, words don't do you justice Yukimura-san."

Releasing her hand Ric turned back to her father with a grateful smile.

"Thank you both for coming. Since I'm being honest Hiroshi, you were probably the only person I was looking forward to seeing tonight. I hate these sort of parties but with you two here maybe we might have a good time after all."

"Excuse me, Sir?"

Ric paused as his assistant approached with a tablet in one hand and his finger to his ear piece.

"Yes, what is it?"

Ric asked, somewhat perturbed for the interruption.

"Sorry sir but there is someone at the door for you."

Ric blinked somewhat dumbfounded at what the usually so intelligent man just said.

"Yes Wesley, it's a party. There's a lot of people at the door."

"Yes sir but this one asked for you by name."

"Carrie?"

Ricardo asked, hopeful his sister had decided to come. Wesley shook his head, aware of how desperate his boss was to see his little sister.

"No sir, I'm sorry."

Ric took a slow breath but nodded.

"Alright, thank you. I'll be right there."

Wesley took his leave as Ric turned back to the Yukimuras

"I'm sorry, please excuse me. If either of you are hungry or would like something to drink just let one of my people know. My home is yours."

With a polite nod Ric left Hiroshi and his daughter to mingle on their own for the moment while he saw to whoever was calling for him at his front door. As Ric reached the door he had to wade through the greetings of every guest in attendance his eyes lit up when he saw who was waiting for him. Long, shoulder length brown hair like a lot of the women in his family. Hazel eyes, his mothers, so different from his or Carrie's. Her body was different, so changed from when he'd last seen her, she had a fighters build now.

"Bri?..."

He said in shock.

"Brianna, holy shit is that you?..."

He broke out into a wide smiled and ran the last few steps to her before scooping her up in a big hug. The first truly good surprise he'd had in a very long time. She laughed before he put her down, his smile seeming to be glued to his face now.

"When did you get back? I didn't know you were home? Are you on leave?"

*Apologies for not meeting you at the door, I had not expected you to arrive so soon.

"Yukimura-san."
Momoe turned from her father to find the illustrious Ric Falcone standing before them. Momoe plastered on a smile.

"Doa de anata o mitashite inai tame no shazai wa, watashi wa anata ga kon'nani hayaku tōchaku suru yotei shite inakatta."
He said and Momoe arched an eyebrow. She hated to admit it but she was impressed, Japanese was her first language, there was too many times, white men would try to impress her or her father, with shotty Japanese. Ric's enunciation on the otherhand was perfect.
His attention turned to her.

"And this must be Momoe, your daughter?"

Ric said, offering her hand, she gave his hand a gentle shake and a respectful bow.

"It's nice to finally meet you Momoe, your father talks about you often. I've been told many times how beautiful you were, words don't do you justice Yukimura-san." He said and Momoe resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "IT is nice to meet you too, Mister Falcone, you honor me with your kinds words." She said with a practiced grace. Dropping her hand, Ric turned to her father while Momoe's eyes darted around the party.

There was a reporter here by the looks of the red hair woman.

"Thank you both for coming. Since I'm being honest Hiroshi, you were probably the only person I was looking forward to seeing tonight. I hate these sort of parties but with you two here maybe we might have a good time after all."

He said and Momoe smiled graciously as he excused himself and she turned back to her father. "I really want that ice cream." She said but she was smiling.

Walking into the party was the easy part, staying away from the alcohol was another. Dressing in a simple grey dress, her hair in curly crimson waves pinned to the side, and cascading down her shoulder. A martini glass in her hand. It was days like these that she missed her husband, Tony. He always dragged her to parties like these, and often would leave her there to do whatever it is that the Family needed. She used to hate him for it, resent the family for it, early mornings and long nights, she hardly was able to see him but as it turns out, he wanted what she did. He wanted out. Tony was trying to make it out. That's what Ric told her that day...

Fiona sat at her chair, thumbing through her phone, and the seemingly endless picture of her and Tony. Tears glossing her blue-green eyes, as she watched how happy they were. She thought she missed him before, she'd complained, bitched even, about how often he was gone, but that was when he came home. She closed her eyes. Now he was gone forever.
Image
The bell to the shop door chimed and Fiona stiffened. "We're closing." She said and then turned to see her brother in law standing at the reception desk.

Fiona got to her feet, believing that he was here for what she'd said at the funeral. She was drunk, and hurting, and that was never a good combination.

"He's dead because of you! He should have been home, with me, but no, he was off doing god knows what for you! He died, for you! It should have been you!" She'd cried, in front of everyone. That was probably not the wisest thing to call out the Don but she had, and now she just knew he was here to 'handle' her.

As he approached, she backed against her work desk, where the 9mil Tony had bought her rested under the table. Just in case.

"What do you want, Ric?" She asked him, there was fear in her voice as hidden behind anger and sadness. Ric looked tense and that did nothing for Fiona's nerves. He shook his head. "I'm not going to hurt you, Fiona." He said somewhat exasperatedly. She didn't relax though. She merely swallowed. "Then what do you want?"

His blue eyes darted to her chair, or more correctly the wall behind it, where her work was on display. Fiona frowned. "You want a tattoo?" She said in disbelief. "Now, for what?"

"Tony." was his answer and there was a silence that fell between them while guilt washed over her. She may have lost a husband, but he'd lost a brother, blood brother at that, someone he'd grown up with, looked after, and here she was acting as if she was the only one that lost someone.
She looked at him then, the pain and grief and guilt in her eyes that matched hers. He blamed himself too it seemed.
"Alright." She said and allowed herself to relax and come forward.
After a long while, they didn't speak of Tony, the night he did, nor his funeral, instead they worked on his piece.

"he loved you, you know." Ric said as she worked on the sketch, her back was too him as he sat in the chair. "I know." Fiona lied, she didn't know for sure, he was gone all the time, and sure when he was home, he barely kept his hands off her but that didn't mean love, hell she was a stripper once, she knew better then anyone sex didn't mean love. "That night..." Ric began and Fiona shook her head. She didn't want to hear about how he died. "Please, Ric, not now." She said, tears glossing her eyes again as she looked at him, but Ric's eyes were steady, "I'm sorry for what I said at the funeral, that wasn't fair, it wasn't your fault so you don't have to explain." She said, her Irish twang dotting her words, a clear sign she was upset. "But I do, he wasn't there for a hit, he was there speaking with some executives, trying to find a way for us to go legit, He loved you, and wanted to focus on you." He said and Fiona dropped her blue pencil, shaking. "What are you saying, Ric, that he...?"
"He wanted out, Fi, he was trying to get out."

Fiona rose the glass to her lips, as tears lined her eyes again. Not here, not now, she told herself. Not today.

"Father... Maybe we can go for ice cream after this, like we used to?” As Momoe spoke his heart both hurt more and yet at the same time was filled with a joy he had not felt in a long time. This was the first time in along time the two of them had as good of a heart to heart. It made him fell that for once that things between them were getting better and that everything was going to be ok. When she hooked her hand around his arm, all he could do is gently place his free hand on her hand. He had to muster every ounce of strength not to shed a tear or show any weakness. But Hiroshi did smile, the biggest most genuine smile he could.

Just as he was about to respond to her he was cut off by a familiar voice, "Yukimura-san" Hiroshi turned to see none other then Don Ricardo "Ric" Falcone, their host and a man he respected very much. The two bowed to each other and then shook hands. It was always a pleaser and an honor to have Ric around, even though he was an outside, Ric had impressed him and earned a lot of respect and trust not just from him but his men too. Again before he could get a word out his daughter stepped up and impressed him with her polite response. "IT is nice to meet you too, Mister Falcone, you honor me with your kinds words." He know she could be polite at these events regardless of her feelings towards it, but to brake from their conversation and be so polite was impressive. As he opened his mouth to greet his friend Ric was rather rudely interrupted by an aid, which put him off alittle. Didn't Ric train his people better then this, but watching his friends response he could tell this was important and let it go. As Ric left Hiroshi nodded and then turned to Momoe, "I really want that ice cream." she said smiling.

He looked her in the eyes with the most loving and prideful fatherly look he could, a look he hadn't given her since she was young. Equally as loving, "Of course we will go for ice cream, it would be my biggest honor and pleaser. And Momoe... my daughter... It is I who am sorry. I am so sorry for the way I have treated you. I have not been a good father to you in long time. You are the single most precious person in the world and I have been to worst to you. You were right to be angry with me and every thing you said was true. I have been treating you like my father treated you. If you can ever forgive me, I promise to be the best father to you I can. On my honor and my life I promise to make things better for us, for you." He was so proud of her by couldn't bring himself to say it for fear of becoming to emotional for public. It was true he had been an awful father and from that moment on would do everything he could to make it right in her eyes.

"Of course we will go for ice cream, it would be my biggest honor and pleasure." He said and Momoe smiled, there was a look in his eyes that she hadn't seen in a long time, it was almost, pride. Not only that, her inner child was screaming 'Yay, Ice Cream!'

" And Momoe... my daughter... On my honor and my life I promise to make things better for us, for you." He said and she sighed. She would have to tell him about Ivan, at some point, but she didn't want to ruin this, she got the cold deathlike feeling that if she told him now, it would ruin the progress they were making.

"You're nothing like Grandfather, Grandfather was...."Momoe paused and swallowed, keeping her face even, she didn't want to tell him all that Grandfather really was, though she was fairly certain he had a pretty good idea, the extent of his cruelty towards her was another matter she didn't want to bring up right now. "You're a good man, Father, Mother always said so, and now I'm starting to believe her." She said, and was cautiously optimistic, she hoped she was right to let him back in, but at the same time, she wouldn't be surprised if by the end of this, he would become reclusive again.

"Anyway, what is the party exactly? I'm sure there's something we're supposed to be doing?"

"You're nothing like Grandfather, Grandfather was... "You're a good man, Father, Mother always said so, and now I'm starting to believe her." Had he really fallen so low that his owe daughter was just now starting to see him as a good man? His wife had always been an amazing person, standing by him or some times standing up for him through everything. Then there was Grandfather... Hiroshi know some of and had a good idea of the rest of how he was, and it was good to hear she really didn't see him in the same light. He looked at her for a little while longer then, "Thank you. And as far as this party, its get together for our two families and some of our... business associates. At some point I will need to meet with our host but till then, its just a normal party for us to have fun, enjoy ourselves, relax. Drink, mingle, dance. If you want we can share a dance like we did when you were really little back in Japan." He remembers having her stand on his feet as he danced when she was very young, and as she got a little old she no longer needed to stand on him. They also moved onto some harder and more traditional dances. But sadly as she grow even old they stopped dancing together. He then waved for a red haired maid to bring them two glasses of champagne. When she brought the glasses, he respectfully nodded his head at her, "Thank you miss.?" He took out his wallet and handed the help a fifty, then taking both glasses, offered Momoe a glass hoping that it would go better this time. "To us and to a new and better beginning."

Her Father looked at her for a moment before answering.

"Thank you. And as far as this party, its get together for our two families and some of our... business associates. At some point I will need to meet with our host but till then, its just a normal party for us to have fun, enjoy ourselves, relax. Drink, mingle, dance. If you want we can share a dance like we did when you were really little back in Japan."

Momoe wanted to squeal with delight. She hadn't danced with her father in God knows how long."Hontōni?"She asked just as he waved a server over for a drink. This was the second time tonight, but this time, Momoe took the glass with a smile.

"To us and to a new and better beginning." He said and Momoe giggled some. "To us and a new beginning." She cheered and tapped her glass to his before taking a soft sip. This was the first time she was grateful for a light alcohol. This night was going much better then she ever expected. She'd get to dance with her father, and then after the party, he'd take her out for ice cream, just like when she was small. before Grandfather dug his claws into both of them. She knew it was wrong to speak ill of the dead but she hoped he was looking up at them, watching as he burned.

They still had things to work out, and she was still nervous about telling him about Ivan, but this was progress. Progress is good.

"To us and a new beginning." Hiroshi tapped his glass to her before taking a sip. He then turned to the help, and asked if they could play Momoe's favorite song from when she was a kid. Before he could do anything his phone beeps again. He simply takes his phone out and drops it into whats left of his drink. "There, now no one can interrupt us. He then motioned to an open area in the middle of the room and extended his other hand to Momoe, "May I have this dance?" As he did that he noticed a man walk in, which it normally would matter seemings it is a party after all, but something about him didn't sit right. Then it hit him, this new guy was Johnny Law. "Would Ric really let a cop in here without a heads up? Was he on his payroll? Either way if he was invited why wasn't he warned? Do I leave my daughter that I'm finally breaking through to, in order to confront this or leave it to tend to her? Wait why is this even a question, of course I pick my daughter." he thought and then pushed it to the back of his mind. Right now nothing was more important then Momoe. Then turned his attention back to her.

Momoe was so excited, she was going to dance with her father again, something she hadn't done since before her mother died. She wanted to cry for her happiness.

His phone went off and Momoe stiffened. Don't answer it, don't answer it, please don't answer it., it was something she used to chant in her head when she was a kid. He'd read her a story for bed or they'd be eating dinner and his phone...or pager at the time, would always go off. She would pray he didn't answer but he always did. She still never stopping praying.

Disappointment washed over her as he pulled out his phone. "Please, Don't answer it." She thought again and to her relief and surprise, he dropped his phone in the glass.

Happy tears welled up in her eyes. "There, now no one can interrupt us." He said and gestured to the dance floor, Momoe gathered up her dress with one hand and took her father's extended one with the other. "May I have this dance?" He asked and she couldn't help a small giggle. "I would be my pleasure." She said and placed her hand on her father's shoulder, making sure to avoid his feet, though her inner child wanted to step on them. She noticed her father's attention was drawn to one of the men that had entered but he seemed to ignore it, which made her all the more happy. Ironically, it was then she felt her phone vibrate in her purse at her hip, smiling at her father, she too ignored it, nothing was going to ruin this for them. Even if it was Ivan, which was more the case. She didn't know how long this would last.

Marley had spent the beginning of the evening listening in to snippets of conversation, curiously picking up tidbits of info left and right. One girl chatted casually about her brother 'disposing the body' of her ex in the river. Another giggled about the rapid speed that the drug trade was moving at. Huh. That was worth another listen. Marley edged closer to the group, only to glance up when she saw none other than Claudia Falcone walk up to her. "You must be new." Her voice was riddled with suspicion, but Marley detected a hint of humor in her tone. Messing around with the help, huh? Talk about a bully. Why, Marley might just have a word to Mr Falcone about this mistreatment of staf- Oh. Right. She didn't actually work here.

Reaching to her back, the woman tore off the price tag still attached to her uniform. Oops. "Better fix that." She said with a smile, before disappearing into the crowd once more. Marley took a breath of relief before glancing upwards to her cherry locks. Urgh, she knew she should have worn a wig. But she wasn't all that big of a reporter, so she hadn't bothered. Moron. Oh, well. Claudia had more than likely been simply teasing. And there wasn't really anyone else here that she kne-

Suddenly, her eyes fell upon a handsome, slightly underdressed individual. An individual that, frankly, had no right being here. Well, technically, she didn't either, but that was different. Kind of.

She ducked behind a plant pot, glimpsing at the cop through the green foliage. Yep. He was definitely a policeman. But what the hell was he doing here? Part of Marley, -the enthusiastic, gutsy, reporter part- felt a thrill, itching to find out exactly how the man was connected to the most powerful family in New York. The other part, however, -the smart, survivor part- saw things differently. In a 'well, shit. If this guy recognizes me from my having snooped around the precinct in the past, I am pretty darn screwed.'

She bit her lip, continuing the play the part of the harmless maid, as a gentleman she noted as the leader of the Yakuza took a drink from her, and gave her a fifty (Sweet. At least this night wasn't completely useless. Unless, of course, she gets murdered. But whatever) all whilst staying out of view of the cop. Yep. I should have definitely worn a wig.

Time passed, and the sound of music and laughter grew louder. Alyssa had just finished going over all the paper work, when the grating voice reached her ears. She smiled almost bitterly to herself. Cruel wasn't a strong enough work to describe Claudia. Yet, Alyssa was not one to back down. Both women had been rubbing each other the wrong way since Claudia had clawed her way into Ric's life.

"Claudia." Alyssa smiled overly friendly, turning to face the poignant woman. "Now, now. Green really doesn't suit you." Alyssa moved towards Claudia stopping before her. "Crass as always. It's nice to see you too." She continued to smile before her expression turned to that of mock shock. "You're wearing clothes!? Lovely dress. What is it? Walmart? Target? Definitely, a step up from the Thrift shop were you must of shopped before Ric decided to . . . Well," Alyssa continued with an amused twinge to her lips. She was not in a mood to take Claudia's shit tonight. "Ric has always had a place in his heart for the less fortunate. Charity starts at home after all. Downstairs did you say?" Alyssa brushed passed the absinthian woman, knocking Claudia's shoulder.

Alyssa was sure Claudia knew after her feelings for Ric. Maybe, she wondered as she made her way down the stairs; Claudia and she could have been friends, if they had not been in love with the same man . . . Alyssa smirked, realising her ideal thinking was exactly that. Ideal. And untrue. Claudia was gauche. She was so very . . . common. And nothing could ever change that. No matter how much she may try to elevate herself in the world. No matter how she tried to play the gracious hostess; what was out of Claudia's power to change was where she came from.

Standing on the fringes of the clamorous room, Alyssa grabbed a glass off the tray of a passing waitress. She was going to need it by the looks of it. The look of disgust of Nick Quinn's face as he entered matched Alyssa's own thoughts. What had she walked into? It was like she had walked into the Twilight Zone. Yukimura was there dancing with his daughter as if they were at her cotillion.

Her eyes searched for Ric but he was nowhere to be seen. Claudia's words rang in her ears. Claudia's jealousy did not give her the pleasure Alyssa had always thought it would. Because Claudia didn't matter. She was just a blip. And blips faded, in time . . . Or disappeared.

As they danced he couldn't help but smile as he stared in to the beautiful eyes of his daughter. "How is it that after everything I put you through, you, are still so beautiful and strong? You are so much like you're mother, strong independent, loving and free spirited. I'm sorry I have always been so controlling, you deserve to be free, free o live your life the way you want to." Just as he finishes saying that, over Momoe's shoulder Hiroshi noticed a 'pretty boy' walk in. Not only did his 'pretty boy' entitled attitude rube him the wrong way but Hiroshi recognized him right away, Mark Hartmann, DA. So now they had a cop and a well known DA at the party, what was Ric up to inviting these two to this party? "Great. Now, do I find Ric and look into whats going on, or do I stay with my daughter? Its possible this DA is on the payroll along with the cop, though that seems unlikely, so why are they both here? To protect my daughter it looks like I'm going to have to break her heart... again." He thought as he let out a slight sigh with out changing his facial expression but he did lower his shoulders slightly. Talking softly enough so only Momoe could hear him, "I love you. I always have and always will. I want you to know that what I do, I do for you my daughter. If anything goes wrong I want you to run. Go to any of our building and tell the guards that we have an Omega level code red. They will take care of you. I want you to promise me that you will do as I ask. And once its over, forget out this life, forget about me and live your life, free, happy and safe. Promise me that you will do this for me?" Though he said this with a smile on his face its clear how serious he is.

I'm sorry I have always been so controlling, you deserve to be free, free to live your life the way you want to." Her father said, taking Momoe by surprise. He wanted her to be free? To live as she wanted.

She looked at her father, and it was right on the tip of her tongue to tell him about Ivan. "Father...?"

Her father's expression when dark for a moment, his shoulder's dropping and Momoe knew that something was wrong. "I love you. I always have and always will. I want you to know that what I do, I do for you my daughter." He said and Momoe barely had time to blink before he went on.

"If anything goes wrong I want you to run. Go to any of our building and tell the guards that we have an Omega level code red. They will take care of you. "If something goes down, I'll run, but only to get more men. Go find out what's going on." She said with a nod, it was clear in the look in her eye's that she was the Dragon's Daughter, whether she knew it or not.

He smiled at the strength and amount of care in daughter even as horrible of a father he had been towards her. He contiued to dance as he looked her in the eyes, and in the sternest voice, "No my daughter promise me. I will be fine." He turned to her two female guards, "You two if things go wrong level omega code red and get my daughter out of here. And don't let her out of your sight for a second." The guards nod as he stopped dancing and bowed to Momoe. "Thank you for the dance." Hiroshi and his two male guards walked over to Ric.

In the polities and most respectful voice possible, "Pardon me." He bows, "I am sorry to interrupt but Mr. Falcon I was hopping that we could talk... In private." He looked at Brianna, clearly a close friend... No family, this must be his sister, the soldier. "I'm sorry, were are my manners. I am Hiroshi Yukimura. It is an honor to meet you ma'am." he bows to her.
