Guild of Nine Swords

Guild of Nine Swords

0 INK

A guild-based roleplay in a fantasy setting with a not very restrictive class system. Go on adventures and achieve glory and honor! But be wary, a dark evil looms on the horizon for the land of Anissa...

2,388 readers have visited Guild of Nine Swords since Ranos created it.

Introduction

Welcome to Anissa, a land of great magic, great mystery, and great adventure. It's recorded that the founding of the Guild of Nine Swords was 200 years ago. The guild was created as a result of the Necromancy War, in which an army of rebels, tainted by dark magic and their ranks bolstered by the undead and demons, were led by the evil archmage Lemkey to conquer Anissa. The coalition of the country's lords and greatest warriors combined their powers to defeat Lemkey at the gates of the capital city, sending all of his hellspawn back to the darkest depths of their evil realms. Lemkey was executed in the town square the following day, and he ceased being a threat to Anissa, and the nine warriors who had brought him to justice gained renown all over the world. After founding the Guild of Nine Swords to carry on their legacy, it eventually rose to greatness as the best band of fighters ever assembles.

As generations died and leadership changed hands, however, the guild has fallen into a state of disrepair. They no longer inhabit a castle atop a mountain peak, but a wooden guild house in the slums of the capital city of Umbryn. As the last leader, a wizened mage, succumbs to old age and the body that betrayed him, new leadership comes into the guild...and the new guild master has big dreams for the historic Guild of Nine Swords. Will the guild ever be restored to its former glory? Only its members can make sure of that.

But the guild has enemies too, including the Cult of Lemkey, a shadowy organization spread across Anissa dedicated to bringing about the old ways of dark magic and destroying the legacy of the Nine Swords. The guild is also opposed by the greedy lord Harelm of the king's court, looking to seize the guild and use them as a puppet to further his cause. So far the guild has been able to fight off these physical and political attacks, but it's an uneasy war that not everyone in the guild thinks they can win.

Toggle Rules

1. When a game master makes a decision, that decision is final.
2. You are allowed to leave the guild or roleplay outside the guild if you so wish, but we'd like to keep most of the roleplay guild-centered in the beginning.
3. No powerplaying. Not to say you can't become powerful, but if you immediately start out as a godlike destroyer of worlds, you're going to get a swift kick to the ban.
4. You don't have to love every player, but there's a zero tolerance policy on flaming.
5. Every class picks a major, general, and minor proficiency. Of course, they can do other things, but they excel in their proficiencies.
6. While the proficiencies are there to help make combat simpler, this game involves NO DICE. Full RP fighting.
7. Proficiencies mostly affect combat against NPCs. Though, as I write this, I can't wait to see how they clash in player fights.
8. There are only four ranks in the guild; in descending order of authority they are Guildmaster, Guardian, Journeyman, and Recruit.
9. Put proficiencies in the EQUIPMENT section of your biography.

ARCHTYPES
---------------
They say there are three archtypes to combat; The Warrior, The Rogue, and The Mage. While you're not limited to a stereotype of each, you must pick one patron archtype and pick three proficiencies for your character.

WARRIORS: Warriors are directly involved in the combat, whether acting as a shield for their allies or a harbinger of death for their enemies. They pick a major skill, a general skill, and a minor skill to shape their character's combat identity.

BLADES (Proficiency with swords and the like, single or dual wielding.)
BLUNT (Proficiency with hammers and blunt objects. Polearms fall under this category.)
SHIELD (Proficiency with shields and shaking off damage with them.)
ARCHERY (Proficiency with the use of a bow and arrows.)
LEADERSHIP (The ability to inspire those around you and raise morale.)
INTIMIDATION (The ability to inspire fear in opponents that feel fear.)
FORCE (The ability to shatter enemy blocks.)
FIRST-AID (The ability to heal injuries with makeshift medical equipment and natural ingredients.)
FORTITUDE (The ability to stand your ground and resist stuns, fear, or attacks that would overwhelm others.)

ROGUES: Rogues are more creative with their combat tactics, relying on cunning and guile to get them through a fight, whether they're an assassin or a thief. They also pick major, general, and minor proficiencies.

DAGGER (Skill while using one or two daggers or short swords.)
POISONS (Skill used to make quality poisons to be applied to weapons.)
INFILTRATION (Skill used for picking locks and getting around barriers to reach your goal.)
SNEAK (Skill used to bypass an enemy's awareness, whether it's to spring a sneak attack or steal a trinket.)
PERSUASION (Skill to manipulate NPCs into doing what you wish.)
STUN (Skill used to impede enemy movements, attacks, or halt them completely for a post.)
TREASURE HUNTING (Characters with this skill have a knack of finding some neat goodies when they search for them.)
CRITICAL ATTACK (Can deal great damage to compromised or unaware enemies.)
DODGE (Skill used to improve evasion of attacks.)

MAGES: Mages are practitioners of magic. They can learn up to three of the schools of magic, choosing a major aptitude, a general aptitude, and a minor aptitude. Two or three schools of magic can be combined in a spell. Magics marked as (BLACK) are perceived as wicked or tainted, and the land has outlawed their practice. However, this may change over the course of the roleplay. (They can still be picked, of course, but be wary of the roleplay effects.)

FIRE (The art of conjuring flames.)
FROST (The art of conjuring solid ice or blizzards.)
EARTH (The art of manipulating the earth.)
STORM (The art of manipulating the winds, the rains, and yes, powerful mages can shoot lightning.)
LIGHT (The art of mending wounds and smiting "evil" creatures with light magic, as well as conjuring light.)
DARK (The art of summoning demons and raising the dead.) (BLACK)
SHIELD (The art of casting protective wards over yourself or allies to mitigate damage at the expense of your magic energy, and if persisting, health.)
CHAOS (The art of dominating the minds of men and beasts and driving them to the point of insanity, whether for torture or battle confusion. Can be deterred by strong minds.) (BLACK)
ENCHANTING (The art of imbuing objects with magic to serve an extraordinary purpose. Enchants must be done with game master approval, and effects must be taken from either of your other schools.)

Ranos smirked slyly;
"Thanks for finally joining us, oh high and mighty monk," he chuckled. "Alright, now that he's weakened, I'm sure he'll get back up, Anil can cast a protective ward over me, Sylar will back me up, and while the beast is distracted, Yuhra will take its left flank with her naginata. The demon dog can be positioned on its right side, ready to charge its back if it turns to attack Yuhra. Now that we've got this plan, may as well charge it..." He said with a grin, unsheathing his long sword adorned with a single topaz; "...let's do this!" He finished, taking his large iron buckler off of his back and sprinting forward at the great monster.

Anil smirked at Ranos's comment, "Well, had I known this would be such a problem for you I wouldn't have been so leisurely in my pace." the monk replied as he cast a hardening spell over the guild master making his armor, clothes, and even his skin as hard as granite despite retaining their respective forms. The half-giant was struggling to his feet as the guild master charged it. Anil conjured an aero-blast that hit the beast in the head with the force equal to that of any maul, knocking the creature off-balance again while Anil himself followed his guild master.

Sylar listened in pensive silence to Ranos' plan. It seemed solid enough - they always seemed solid enough. That did not mean that nothing ever went wrong.
Oh well, there was no time to worry about that now. He gestured Gethin off to his position on the half-giant's right. Gethin obeyed his master silently, as ever - he had been commanded to speak only when necessary, for his voice was terrible and seductive and simply an inconvenience for Sylar. He shifted around, maintaining his human shape, and dropped into a crouch. For a beast so weak there was no need to take full power.

Sylar backed off a step, putting himself quite a distance behind Ranos, and began to whisper words of magic, twisting his way into the half-giant's mind. Working on its sanity. Displaying visions to it that would frighten the skin off of even the most accomplished and intelligent warriors.

The half-giant slowly pushed itself back up from the ground, rubbing the sore spot on his forehead from the vicious impact on the ground. Ranos had just arrived to greet him with cold steel when it seemed to have a great panic attack, swinging his boulder-sized fists around and letting out blood-curdling screams. Ranos seized the opportunity and lunged with his blade, turning it sideways before it sank into the leg of the beast. The creature felt it as your average pin-prick, turning around to swat the fly that bit him. Ranos leapt back and took a half-step to the right, dodging an incoming fist, before he took another slash at the same leg.

The half-giant was still having the most horrid visions in his head, and that was the worst of this fight for such a nervous beast. Unable to maintain calm, he thrashed and spun in an attempt to control the tormented screams inside of his mind. He swung and knocked Ranos back a few meters, being mostly okay due to the protective wards. The creature shrank to its knees and cradled his bulbous head in his hands for a few seconds before standing back up again, eyes completely white, and letting out a roar of bloody murder. Oh dear.

Master, Gethin called out to Sylar, but the mage was deeply absorbed in his casting, working the spell deeper into the half-giant's mind. It took time to rot away the mind, and a great deal of concentration went into feeding the images to the great beast. Gethin knew that as well as anyone, for his mind was linked to Sylar's, and he could see the mage's thoughts as he chose what he should show to his victim, but not for the first time Gethin found himself wishing that Sylar would put just a little bit less concentration into his magic. With Ranos tossed to the side, Sylar was exposed to the madness of the howling giant, and entirely unaware of his own danger.

Slowly, bit by bit, thought by thought, Sylar broke his way deeper into the half-giant's consciousness. If he worked at it long enough he knew he would be able to cause permanent damage, and there was no one who knew him who could deny the fact that he enjoyed the pain his powers dealt. That was why, in the end, he and his demon got along so well - they both enjoyed the screaming.

Master, Gethin repeated more insistently, his word cracking through Sylar's spell. The mage's brow furrowed with the effort of maintaining his spell through a split consciousness. Gethin gave a snarl of frustration as the half-giant began lumbering towards Sylar, the first person he saw. His voice took on different tones, dissinant and inhuman as his frustration broke through. It had been his intention not to attack unless ordered to do so, but his prime command was to guard Sylar's life until the very end. And unaware as he was, the mage's life was very much in danger.

Muscles surging, Gethin launched himself from the ground as the half-giant passed him, latching his claws into the great creature's back. His form seemed to morph as he struck, half-hunched, half-furred, his muzzle lengthening, caught between wolfish beast and fanged human. His white eyes came alight with lust as he burried his fangs into the enemy's flesh.

But the giant kept moving, roaring in rage, and Sylar remained unaware.

(Yuhra will be inactive until about now every weekday.)

"Have fun in hell!" Yuhra shouted, charging head-on at the giant, holding her weapon by the very end, giving her massive leverage on the blade. She swung the weapon only once, her heartbeat racing as the blade easily slid across the giant's body, leaving a long, shallow cut. That should slow him down, she thought, hoping that Sylar could bring it down with the added time from her and the demon.

(Well, that's about when school ends, so it's not a big surprise. I'm a student too.)

The half-giant stood idly, its white as snow eyes now host to branching veins of scarlet and a dark sanguine stream pouring from its nose. The slashings of Yuhra combined with the vicious bites of the demon hound brought the creature to its knees with a resounding "thud." The creature on its knees was now, in essence, dead. Now just moments from the grave, the half-giant fell down to the ground, its face buried in a pool of blood and saliva.

Ranos took a few steps forward to the great beast, sliding his sword into its scabbard, checking for the thunderous pulse usually present in its neck.
"Dead," He said brieflly, taking a step back as to not dirty his boots further. Taking a look at the town of Nalyn in the distance. "Good battle. And now we move forward." He continued his walk to the village with minimal pause and a smile.

(This is about seven hours AFTER the time I would normally have been home. I had work and then I had a special unplanned baby sitting job... my schedule's a little irregular, sorry guys. >.< But I do post every day!)

As the creature died Sylar came back to the real world, blinking rapidly and lowering his hands, now empty of the buzzing power of his magic. He gave his head a swift little shake - it was not the most comfortable thing to have a spell broken off in the middle - and pulled his robes more tightly around him, falling into step with Ranos and Yuhra. Gethin took up his place once more at Sylar's shoulder, wiping away the stain of the giant's blood.

By the time Anil had reached the half-giant it was already dead, it's dark blood pooled about it in the aftermath of the Guild's vicious attacks. One thing about the Guild of Nine Swords that was forever enshrined in Anissa's oral history was their effectiveness. They got the job done, and they did it cleanly which is probably why so few people were purchasing their services recently. The highly political realm of subterfuge and intrigue was not clean, it was in fact very dark and dirty. No employer wanted any ill work traced back to their ink, and the Guild of Nine Swords was a very public institution that displayed a great deal of transparency. Too much for most.

Anil chanted an assessment spell around him, surveying the lifeforce of his companions. They all seemed to check out, Ranos and Yuhra may be a bit sore later from the sudden exertion but that was to be expected of warriors. Sylar was sound in the body, if not necessarily in the soul. Anil had no ill will towards the dark mage; in Kal'ha they had been taught to accept that everybody walked their own path to enlightenment and no matter how wayward that path would seem to an outside observer that very observer should recognize that there is more than one way to live. Anil remained unjudgmental of the young man. Anil hadn't had time to take account of Sylar's entrance appropriately as was due to another Guild member.

"So then, how is our prince of darkness doing today?" Anil inquired with thinly veiled satire. Okay, so maybe he was a little judgmental, then again that was expected for one who did not complete his spiritual training at the monastery. The silvery-black haired man appeared to be occupied at the time anyway and paid the meddling monk no heed.

Anil turned to the other two of the troop, Ranos and Yuhra. Lords how lovely she looked with a weapon in her hands! Anil smiled at the girl as he approached the two warriors and produced the silver coins given to him by the tavern keeper's daughter. With his hand outstretched towards Ranos, Anil pinched the coins between his thumb and index finger and said, "Although I may be tardy, I never fail to deliver."

"Someone's been working hard." Yuhra looked at Anil. That monk had always seemed somewhat odd to her, how he should seem very wise and pragmatic-instead just goofy and unpredictable. She felt somewhat uneasy about the giant that was killed. Are there more nearby? How are we sure it's dead? The questions rang in her head.

She began to feel light headed. "You three keep going. I need to sit down for a second." She crouched to the ground, holding her hand against her head. Her forehead was throbbing for some reason. She untied the cloth from her waist, and pressed it against her head. Did i eat something bad? She tried eating some herbs she had packed, but nothing changed. Now, she felt like she was about to pass out. She fell to the ground from her crouching position, and started to groan in pain.

No, no, not again. I don't want to see father again...

It was at this time that the party had reached the wooden gates of Nalyn; greeted by two guardsmen clad in armor made of hides.
"Halt, travellers. What is your business here?" The taller guard asked gruffly, boasting an iron battleaxe that looked like a child's toy when held by the brute.

"We have been summoned by the village elder," Ranos said, holding up the worn parchment he had received hours earlier, the elder's seal occupying the page's lower half. "I am Ranos Tarran of the Guild of Nine Swords, and my friends and I have been hired to investigate your little ghost problem." At this, the guard busted out with laughter;

"I'm not sure what constitutes a less dignified response in that statement, the Guild of Nine Swords or ghosts," with a mocking expression of thinking on his face the guard shortly followed up with "yes, definitely the Guild of Nine Swords." Flashing a condescending grin to ice the metaphorical cake, the guard silently stepped aside and signaled the guards to open the gates.

Ranos faked a polite smile, and with a heart-warming and friendly tone replied;
"You have a good day as well, sir. May the gods bless your path."

Sylar paused as they drew into view of the town walls, glancing back at the demon who towered at his shoulder. He hardly noticed anymore how tall and muscled the demon really was - he was far too accustomed to Gethin's presence - but he knew that normal townfolk would think him odd. Especially considering the dark mage's robes of the one he followed so closely.
"Keep your head down," he commanded evenly, holding Gethin's eyes steadily. Or he assumed he held his eyes. It was difficult to tell with the demon. "I would not be stopped for questioning."

"Yes, Master," Gethin agreed, hiding his pointed ears in his hair and closing his lips tightly to conceal his fangs. He rested one hand on Sylar's arm. Suddenly the demon seemed nothing but a large blind man, lead by an... oddly considerate mage.

Sylar stood in silence, listening to the exchange between Ranos and the guard without the slightest twitch. He felt little attachment to the guild's reputation, and it was no secret. It would have been easy to believe that he said that sort of thing about the guild himself... if he ever bothered to talk to anyone outside of the guild.

Anil had opted to stay behind to make sure Yuhra was feeling alright. "Yuhra, what ails you?" Anil inquired as he took a knee beside the stricken warrior. Yuhra simply grumbled in pain to the monk's query. Kneeling beside her and waving his glowing palms about her at a distance Anil conducted an evaluation of Yuhra's life force. Based on his assessment aura and gut instinct the monk was puzzled to find that nothing was physically wrong with the girl, yet clearly she was experiencing great agony.

What could possibly be the matter? Anil thought as he lowered his hands. He had to do something, but what? It was then that Anil's other training at the Kal'ha came to mind. In the study of the martial arts one learns a great deal about human anatomy and within this knowledge is that of pressure points. Pressure points--highly sensitive areas on the body that react strongly to stimulation--could be used to redirect the flow of energy with in the body to induce pain, paralysis, pleasure or as the case was needed now, serene calm. Carefully weaving his hands behind Yuhra's fiery hair, Anil placed the middle finger of his right hand on the girl's temple and the other at the neck-shoulder junction and applied slight pressure. This would hopefully slow the flow of energy within the body, calming it down. Anil just hoped that Yuhra didn't cut his head off in response to his possible intrusion.

The large, looming figure loomed above a small red-haired girl with a wooden mallet above it's head. "I told you, do not leave the house without my instruction!" The man brought his arm down, the mallet colliding with the girl's head, and sending her to the floor. All the young girl on the floor could do is sit back up, cowering in fear. The man issued more blows, each one leaving a horrible mark on the girl's body.
Is that me?

"Please, dont!" Yuhra suddenly wrenched herself free from the grip of whoever was holding her. She looked back at who was holding her, and it was just Anil, adjusting her pressure points. "I am so very sorry for worrying you. It was just a little episode that I have sometimes. Thank you for helping me snap out of it though.I guess we need to catch up." She then started walking towards the town.

Ranos Tarran strode across the quaint village, checking to make sure his companions were behind him. Scanning the area for potential pickpockets and cutthroats, the peaceful community proved to be trustworthy. It wasn't long before the party stumbled upon the great wooden lodge that was the elder's home. Curious about the lack of guards around the hall, Ranos swung open the large door of gilded designs on oak, allowing his friends entrance.

Sylar scanned the little village of Nalyn through mistrustful eyes. Certainly, it seemed peaceful enough, but first impressions had often proven wrong in Sylar's memory. One could never judge a place by their first sight of it.
As such, he made the choice to keep Gethin as close to his side as possible, even as he strode past Ranos and into the elder's house. The demon did not want to stray from his Master's side, any more than his Master wanted him to. An obedient dog - that was what he had become.

At least, for now.

"Looks peaceful enough" Yuhra commented on the village. For once, not every young man was looking at her, and she was pleased by this little observation. She took a look at Gethin, and to her suprise, everybody was falling for the 'Blind man and nice mage' act. Of course, that wasn't the issue here. She was starving. She ran down to the nearest shop and bought some meat with the last of the contents of her coin purse. "Man, am I hungry." She practically inhaled the meat, needing nourishment to keep her stomach from growling. If I keep eating like this, I'll need to do more work to get enough money to pay for it all. She thought about her voracious appetite, yet how she almost never gained weight from it. She sighed -all of this thinking about food is just going to make her hungry again soon enough.

Anil stared in befuddlement for a few seconds as he watched Yuhra walk off towards Nalyn. Every time he talked to her there was always something new he learned about her. Curious creature...Anil thought as he caught up with the girl. Anil stared off towards the town and thought about conjuring the air pocket again to increase speed, the same trick that worked for one could work for two, but he decided against it. Nalyn wasn't that far away and he would need to save his willpower for whatever challenges lie ahead of them.

As the odd couple made their way to the wooden stockade of Nalyn and one of the guards there uttered a cat call. Anil was fairly sure who the crude guard was calling. Your funeral, friend. Anil thought with a crack of a smile. The pair stopped before the guards as the taller of the two asked, "Halt, travellers. What is your business here?".

"We are a detachment of the Guild of Nine Swords come to settle some accounts on behalf of the village elders. I believe two of our party have already passed through here. A large, bearded man and a diminutive, dark ha-" Anil was rudely interrupted by the guard's collective guffaw.

"Oh yes, the old, broken down war axe and the girly man! Yes quite a laugh they gave us. I would say the same of you Guilders but then again, you are far easier on the eyes." The taller guard said with a lustful stare at Yuhra.

This was getting out of hand. Anil's face hardened into his battle stare and demanded, "Let us through the gates. Our comrades are in there."

"Hm? Oh yes of course, you two don't seem like much of a threat." The same guard said as he banged his fist on the oak gate which then cracked open and slowly parted. Anil and Yuhra made haste to the elder's home.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Ill guess I just give you all a short synopsis considering that the admin has been away for so long

My charater (Who for now Ill call Bilva) is a essentially a fisher men that just happen to have a knack for magic. I imagina him using illusion and ball of light to make/force fish to jump into nets that he set up across the span of the river. Imagian little balls of light hovering over the surface of the water like lightning bugs, the fish would jump up the catch the "bug" and end up geting caught in a net. Or perhaps creating illusions of larger fish in the deeper sections of the lake so as drive the fish to both the surface and closer to the shore.

I want him to be more of and everyman that just happens to weild magic, not a enlightened monk like Anil, nor a scholarly sage like Sylar. Just a simple guy using magic to make his life easyer. Now for his being a person I would like him to be a more playful, almost jester like personality, full of good nature ribbing. Physically I would like him to be slightly plump seeing as his use of magic and fishing would keep him well feed. Simply imagian a place like india, a tree casting shade over a bend in the river, a well tanned man sleeping under the branches surrounded by mangos and fishing robs with bells on them. that is Bilva.

his Proficancies would be Chaos (for the illsuion, mental capabilities), Light (most for the optical aspects, not the holy part), and Enchanting (mostly to make fishing lures more enticing/effective). As for what order theyll be in I have no clue as im still working that out.

Now obviously this being a guild of fighter the man would need to enter battle from time to time. He would be more of a support role, using flashes of light and illusions to hinder his opponents. Perhaps doing some light healing, not a terribly offensive person usless He coudl abuse lights healing propeties can cuasing the opponents bones to continue growing and lead to the eventully calcification of soft tissue (but even I think that would be strenching it).

P.S. English isnt my first language so if there are any spelling mistake and/or grammatical mistakes that i make, I wont take any offense to you pointing them out. But being gentle about them would be highly appriciated.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

A synopsis in my mind would actually be most appreciated. It would give us an idea of how your character operates in whatever environment. Of course Ranos has the final word and I have no idea where he/she has been these past five days.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Would it be taboo for me to post a rough synopsis of my potential OC (on teh condition that I have permssion to join) so that I may see what you all think.

As all of your are for more experienced roleplayers than I, your input would be high appreciated.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

I personally think the ghost scenario is getting us nowhere. Maybe a little fun in the arena?

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

The very concept of magic requires a suspension of disbelief, or a hyper-rationalization. The mechanical properties of how magic "works" in this universe is left undefined so my assumption would be that you should feel free to imagine that it functions in any manner you see fit. Then again, I'm not the GM, so my assertions are not final.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Im aware that this RP has already started, but would you happen to have room for another RPer.

On the off chance that you do have room for me can I ask what speciflty would allow illusion magic? Heat cuases air to have different refractive indexes due to so that can create illusions, but then on the other hand you do have the light school(?) of magic, granted it seems to be more concened with holy or anti-demonic properties rather that literal photons.

P.S. Im and engineer so I may over complicate things, please tell me if i do.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

This is going to die if somebody dosent post soon

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

I don't have a clue what's going on. I made the most recent IC post, I thought I should wait for some one, anyone else to post.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Are... you waiting for me?

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Good to hear, Anansi! :D

Well it looks like we've got a really scattered roleplaying schedule so far...I'll PM everyone asking for there active times.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

I'll probably apply soon with a storm mage, with enchanting skills, and some earth skills.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Given the post rate during combat thus far, I suggest that we schedule some IC chat periods specifically for combat.

No character skeleton, just the default boxes that RP gateway gives you. And there are no specific spells, just freeform magic, whatever your brain can come up with using your schools of magic. Whether you want to use fire as a shield wall or as a hurtling ball of destruction is up to you.

EDIT: The only rule I have is that you should put proficiencies in "equipment."

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Is there a particular character skeleton we are meant to use? And are there spells within each area, or is there just... a general sense of magic?

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

My Apologies >,< I put my post in the wrong area

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Glad to see the interest, guys! We'd love to have any of you! And, by the way, mages who practice black magic ARE allowed in the guild, even though guild members still have an uneasy disposition with black magic, it's the law you must look out for.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

Interested as well will be replying soon with a character.

Re: [OOC] Guild of Nine Swords

I am interested. I will likely send in a character after I finish reading the rest of the description.
