Having only one thing on his mind, which is fulfilling his duty to the kingdom, Jason has little time for anything else (this includes but it’s not limited to romance, family and hobbies). He’s one of the best guards in the realm, having both the wits and the physical strength to carry his missions successfully. Knowing the ocean like the palm of his hand, Jason is often called in front of the King for tactical plans against the slow, but undeniable future human domination.

What Jason hates most than humans for polluting the oceans and taking away their food, is human pirates. He lives for the hunt and for the battles, never making use of his charms when he can stab or pull them into the water in one swift move. He’s a born leader and he cares for his soldiers just as much as he cares for the land. Nothing will enrage him more than seeing his fellow companions killed or caught on land, forced to age and die.

Romance-wise, Jason never felt in love and is quite possible he never will (at least as far as he’s concerned). He is always looked upon with desire and yearning by a lot of mermaids and with envy by a lot of mermen, but romance is one thing he never gave thought before. His parents and also the King are currently searching for a “good catch” on his behalf in order to see him married so he can continue the line.

Just like his sister, Amber, he likes to talk only when it’s absolutetly necessary, being more a man of action than of words. He’s not particulary keen on learning either, but he studies a lot about humans in order to know his enemy better.

Unique Powers: Jason has inhuman strength and he’s one of the most powerful guards in the water kingdom. He can’t lift a whole ship with his bare hands, but he can crumble it’s deck in one blow without getting hurt. He can also kill a man just by hugging him too tightly, giving him the “deathly embrace” as his subordinates like to call it.
The oldest child out of five, Jason hasn’t been raised like his younger brothers and sister in the Springleaf home. He’s been sent away at the age of ten to become a soldier, receiving training and guidance from Nazca, the general at the time. He got his first battle at 15 and killed his first enemy at 16. By the time he was 20, Jason already received a high rank in the army, along with the respect and consideration of his King.

This year he was named General of the Guards and received a new mission: guard the treasure at any cost. For this he gathered a group of soldiers that met all the qualifications necessary for such a task.
He often goes pirate hunting and he likes to explore the ocean for secret passageways.

He has little contact with his family and barely knows his younger sister, Amber. They meet once or twice a year at the King’s court when he’s appointed as personal guard to the royal couple, but they never talk much.

Although not known to others, he has a deep connection with his King. The man often seeks him for advice, valuing both his wits and his loyalty. Receiving the highest honor, that of gurading the treasure, Jason trains daily with his men, sometimes even on shore. His motto is “Know the enemy like you know yourself.”

So begins...
