Andros Yamato-Clyne

"So what if I'm Kira Yamato's direct descendant? I'm still me."

a character in “Gundam: Infinity Generation”, as played by ZacharyTC

Description

Name: Andros Yamato-Clyne
Role/Rank: Federation Gundam Pilot 1/Sergeant
Image
Home world: Earth (the PLANTs are colonies orbiting that planet, and have been ever since the Cosmic Era)
Background: His family lineage is a long history of excellence in military service, starting with his direct ancestor, Kira Yamato. To better understand Andros, it is important to know about Kira Yamato and his wife, Lacus Clyne. (a picture of the couple is shown below)
Image

Kira was not like ordinary Coordinators (Coordinators are humans whose genes were altered in the pre-birth stages; this can also refer to the offspring or pure-blood descendants of such; an individual, in Cosmic era terms, whose genes were not altered is called a Natural) in that he was turned into the Ultimate Coordinator by his biological father, against his biological mother's protests. His potential was beyond that of regular Coordinators of his time. Tragically, while he and his twin sister, Cagalli (whom was a Natural), were still infants, both his biological parents died in a fire caused by a young Rau Le Creuset. His mother, Via Hibiki, entrusted him and Cagalli to the mother's younger sister, Cardiad Yamato (along with her husband, Harumo), so that they could live, since Blue Cosmos wanted to kill the children, especially Kira. (Blue Cosmos, formed by a weapons company named Logos, was an organization out to kill all Coordinators.) Cagalli was later taken in by Uzumi Nara Athha, Chief Representative of the Orb Union at the time (hence why Cagalli's full name is Cagalli Yula Athha).

During childhood, Kira went to school while on a colony at the surface of the Moon (Colonies on the Moon have soil, trees, and everything else to replicate life on earth, to some degree or another), where he met the Coordinator who would ultimately become his best friend, Athrun Zala. Tensions between the Earth Alliance and the PLANT orbital colonies (The PLANTs were mostly or entirely populated by Coordinators, plus they were an independent nation) forced that area on the Moon the two boys were at to evacuate, but not before Athrun gave Kira a robotic bird named Torii (literally translated from the Japanese word to mean, "Birdy") as a gift as well as a sign of their friendship. Athrun left for the PLANTs while Kira moved to Heliopolis, an orbital colony that belonged to the Orb Union.

This parting would ultimately result in the two friends being pitted against each other. The reason being, the Blue Cosmos leader at the time, Murauta Azreal, launched a nuclear missile which destroyed the largely agricultural PLANT colony Junius Seven, killing Athrun's mother along with everyone else that was inside. This was what caused the First Bloody Valentine War between the PLANTS and the Earth Alliance, in addition to being a major motivator for Athrun to join ZAFT (the PLANTs' militia-based military, its official term being Zodiac Alliance of Peace Treaty); the Earth Alliance's cooperative military forces were called OMNI Enforcer). Orb Union remained neutral, at least officially. Some officials within Orb secretly worked with the Earth Forces (as OMNI Enforcer was commonly called) to create powerful Mobile Suits that would later be called Gundams, as well as a ship called the Archangel.

This was what made Heliopolis a target for ZAFT, since the machines were manufactured and harbored there. The Team that operated the attack on the colony, the Creuset Team (led by the same clone of Al Da Flaga who caused the fire that killed Kira's biological parents) was the same militia Athrun was a part of during the war. During the attack, Kira managed to get Cagalli (both he and her unaware of being twins) to one of the shelters which doubled as a means of escape in case the colony were to be in danger or being destroyed before he intended to head to another. What stopped him was witnessing one of the Earth Forces Officers, Murrue Ramius, winding up injured during the gunfight where the mobile suits were being kept. (Kira did not know why Heliopolis was being attacked, let alone why the Earth Forces were present, in the first place, as he only found out about the mobile suits during the fighting.) This prompted him to jump down to try to tend to her. to his surprise, the ZAFT soldier to injured the officer was none other than Athrun himself, whom was charging at his own friend and the Earth Alliance soldier when Kira found out it was him. With both friends realizing who each other were, that was the only thing that made Athrun stop his charge at Kira and Murrue, the latter pulling out her pistol and forcing Arthrun to evade the shots and get inside one of the Gundams, dubbed the Aegis.

Kira did not even have a choice in this scenario, as he was immediately shoved by Murrue inside one of the other Gundams, a multi-purpose one called the Strike. Murrue initially had control of the Strike, but when Kira saw his friends on Heliopolis in danger of being killed in the crossfire while the mobile suit he and Murrue were in was attacked by a GINN operated by one of Athrun's comrades, Kira immediately stepped in and took control, the tide of the confrontation immediately turned in Kira's favor due to the fact the mobile suit had a too complex a system for a Natural to use to its fullest potential (hence, a Coordinator was needed since there was no AI to assist a Natural; the Earth Forces were basically a cooperative military coalition of Naturals). Even without prior knowledge of the machine, he was able to put up a fight against his opponent, forcing the GINN to fall back along with Athrun and his fellow Red Uniform Ace pilots still alive (four, in all, counting himself (the fifth was killed in the gunfight)) who managed to capture the other mobile suits, the Strike the only one not in the hands of ZAFT at that point.

His friends came along to him with giving Murrue medical attention, but they were all forced to help that same officer with the Strike due to the fact it was a military secret of the Earth Alliance. The second wave of attacks within Heliopolis ultimately shattered the colonies infrastructure, despite Kira's best efforts to defend it (his main motivation, though, was to protect his friends, as it was throughout his time piloting the Strike.) Confrontation led to a major misunderstanding between Kira and Athrun, a misunderstanding which they carried throughout the time they had to fight each other in the war.

Kira met Lacus during the Archangel's to try make it to either the moon or an Earth Alliance Fleet, where the ship accidentally ended up at the ruins of Junius Seven, where Lacus intended to attend a memorial event for the people who died there when her ship (a civilian one) was ambushed by the Earth Forces. Kira was the one who retrieved the life pod she was in long after the incident. The talks between the two were one of few times during the war Kira had any sort of peace of mind, since Lacus, unlike the many Coordinators within ZAFT, did not hold any hatred at all and was actually a kind person, which helped greatly once when Kira ended up breaking down into tears at the thought of all the "Naturals versus Coordinators" comments he received up till that point. Details cut short, it was when he made the moral decision to make it possible for her to go home that the hatred between Kira and Athrun was sealed for the duration of the time they had their confrontations in the Second Bloody Valentine War, because Athrun still insisted that Kira had no reason to stay with the Earth forces, whereas Kira felt obligated to protect his friends that were still on the ship. This resulted in the two teenage boys swearing they will kill each other the next time they fought. Surely enough, their final confrontation in the war almost killed them both, their machines destroyed in the fighting. Ahtrun, despite the fact he considered Kira an enemy up until then, felt deep regret at the thought of actually killing him after the battle (he had no idea Kira was still alive, let alone taken to Lacus's home in the PLANTs).

It was during Kira's time with Lacus at her house that he decided to try to find a way to end the war and avoid further needless deaths. With her help, he obtained the Freedom, the Strike Freedom's predecessor. With it, along with the aide of Athrun, the Archangel, Cagalli, Yzak Joule, Dearka Elsman, and Andrew Waltfield, Kira was able to intervene and bring an end to the First Bloody Valentine War at the Battle of Jachin Due. It was during the Second Bloody Valentine War that Kira obtained the Strike Freedom, after the Freedom was destroyed at the hands of Shinn Asuka, whom initially piloted the Impulse but then obtained the Destiny. Once the Second Bloody Valentine was over, both Kira and Lacus moved to the PLANTs (Kira and Lacus were both at Orb after the First Bloody Valentine War), where they eventually settled down and started a family. The lineage spawning from that was what Andros came from and is directly descended from.

Age: 19
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 140 lbs
Hair color: brown
Eye color: brown/purple (his left eye is brown, his right eye is purple)
Picture: Image

Gundam Name: Strike Freedom II (named after the original Strike Freedom, the parts of which were used in this model's construction)
Original or Newtype/Fanmade: Coordinator (refer to the Cosmic Era)
Image
Weapons: Like the original Strike Freedom, it has two Beam rifles (each hand-held) along with funnels which are used as additional ranged weaponry, plus a shield projection in place of a physical shield.
Weapon Explanation: In the atmosphere, the funnels stay attatched to the wings at all times. In space, however, these same funnels can be shot out and operated to close in on targets before sending a barrage of laser shots the enemy's way.
Picture of Weapons if possible
Skills:(Flight, speed, Attack, Defense) Pick one.
Point allocation:

Flight: 200. The Strike Freedom II has about average flight maneuverability in air and space, making it possible to function well enough in battle.

Speed: 200. This rather average speed helps him evade some things, though he would have to intercept others.

Attack: 300. While the original Strike was more accurate, the Strike Freedom II can still hold its own with the weaponry it has, still containing rather impressive accuracy. Add that to the rapid fire capabilities of both the rifles and funnels, and you have something difficult to withstand against Andros. Up in space, the funnels can shoot away from the wings and close in on targets before sending laser blasts their way, adding to the Gundam's deadliness.

Defense: 300. The Phase Shift Armor that activates whenever the Strike Freedom II is being operated enables it to completely resist metallic weaponry. This same Phase Shift Armor also makes it capable of enduring most laser blasts, the defense capabilities doubled by the arms' ability to project particles into a shield, making a physical one not necessary and thus enabling the Gundam to hold two ranged weapons at once.

Personality of Pilot: Andros is generally kind and a gentleman, yet he does not have much faith in humanity. He has seen much of the hatred within, which he knows is human nature, as are other corrupt feelings. He simply does not believe that peace will ever be permanent.
Likes: peace, nature, literature
Dislikes: Killing, having to kill, the hatred within humanity, war, disrespect towards anyone
Favorite whatever: His favorite sort of scenery would be one with plenty of flowers, since he grew up hearing about how Kira and Lacus, his ancestors, spent time at what was once her house in the PLANTs during the First Bloody Valentine War, where there was a garden.
What makes him different than other characters: Andros, like Kira, is skilled at ranged combat, especially when it comes to disabling enemy mobile suits without killing the pilots.
Thoughts on each side: "I can't really determine whether Revelation is a grey area or just insane. Not that it matters. The PLANT colonies are where a lot of my family have been for centuries, just like a lot of family is at Orb, so I want to protect both territories of the Federation. As for the Alliance, well, I just explained why I side with this faction in my earlier statement."
Sexuality: Straight
Single. taken, or a player: he is single
Ideal partner: His ideal girlfriend would be someone who is sweet and kind, a sort of light in the midst of the darkness within the solar system that comes with war.
Race: He is a human, specifically a Coordinator.
History: The gundam is pretty much made from the parts of the Gundam Kira Yamato, his direct ancestor, piloted during the Second Bloody Valentine War, the Strike Freedom. Thus, why Andros calls it the Strike Freedom II. As far as what he did before winding up with the Federation, well, he was a college student in the PLANTs, his relatives there recently freed from slavery. Thankfully, his family still had possession of the parts for the Strike Freedom all this time, plus the simulation machine for training on piloting the Gundam was still intact. He would oftenh go to it when he had time, which impressed Revelation recruiters, even with his continued refusal of joining due to hating war; he merely wanted to get in his ancestor's shoes for a bit by getting a feel for how he fought. There was another reason he trained on the simulation and in guns: he has a younger sister whom has been given trouble by the local Revelation Garrison, harassing her verbally. If the abuse were to become physical, he would not hesitate to step in with weapons of his own (that time never came, possibly because it was no secret that he was training himself so hard.) He ended up using his skills another way some time after his relatives managed to rebuild the gundam, him deciding to rename it Strike Freedom II. Revelation was issued a decree that if anyone in possession of a Gundam outside the military did not join, they would be branded traitors and turned into slaves as punishment. That was the final straw; instead of joining the military, he grabbed his sister and fled aboard the Strike Freedom II. The trip was perilous, but he eventually reached Orb, where Federation recruits awaited.
Strengths: Capable of swiftly adapting to various environments, fast learner, ranged expert.
Weaknesses: does not always go for the kill, not particularly skilled at melee.
The one thing you love most in the world: the good in people
The one thing you wish was just gone from the world: hatred and malice
I can't think of anything else, but if you can by all means, go more into detail.
Last thing. Make sure your gundam mechanics make sense. Weapons cannot pop out of thin air. You can have weapons in the hanger bay but can't access the bay mid fight unless its against an NPC.

Space. Being as vast and black as it was the stars have always lit up the area. However, there was one place where the stars wouldn't reach. Tomier, the Revelation work port and home to many slaves with Federation background. This was a place of sorrow and fear. One person especially had lived 19 of his years in the sorrow of this place. The artificial dome cut all ties to space and only the red light placed at the top of the place shined down on its inhabitants. This place was ran by non other than 4th fleet Captain Glurdleworth, a man who took pride in causing the suffering of many. He was such a foul and disgusting man that not even the current Revelation leader would enjoy his company. He ravaged slave woman and tortured and executed the men who spoke words against him.

"Get over here you scrumptious wench." His snake like voice called to one of the women.
"Please. I don't want to." She said back.

Most of the workers had their backs turned and those who couldn't ignore the act that was taken place etched their eyes secretly over to the Captain. As the woman trembled in fear, it seemed her fate for the night was filled with the company of this snake of a man.

He curled his hair with his finger as he confidently looked at the woman. "Now now. You know what will happen if you disobey me. Come quietly with a nice smile and I might forgive you."

At his words and the sound of machines tinkering back in forth a single sound echoed throughout the warehouse. "Tch."

The Captains calm face exposed his true colors at the sound. "Who was that. Who sucks their teeth at me?"

Out from the workers, one man stepped back with his head down.
"I'm tired of it." He said quietly.

"What was that slave?" The Captains eyes twitched.
"I said. I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT!!!!" The boy yelled, glaring at the Captain with his red firey eyes.

"You might want to watch your tongue insect." The Captain said grinding his teeth.

"Shut up! I'm tired of you coming here everyday, making the lives of these people who work for you impossible. My own father.... he."

The Captain had enough. At that instant he pulled out his gun ready to fire. "I guess we have to make an example out of you." He hissed. "One less worker wouldn't be any load off of my..." BAM!!!

The thunderous sound wasn't the pull of the trigger but something even more grotesque. Everyone jumped in fear of it. The boy grabbed his chest, thinking he had been shot, but quickly sighed in relief to find he was okay.

"What the hell was that?" The Captain asked one of his guardsmen.
"We seem to have been infiltrated. I've never seen this type of enemy before, but there seems to be many of them. What are your orders sir?"

Glurdleworth bit his thumb.
Damn. Out of all the places for something like this to happen.
"Have all personnel on standby for defensive action. I want every suitor to get in their Mobile suits and ready them selves for combat."
"Sir." The man saluted and left on his way.
Looking back at the boy, the man put his gun back in its holster. "You're safe for now, but when this little disturbance is handled, I'll see to it myself that you are punished.

Charles Tenworth (Npc) formed the Federation rebel squadron only fifty some odd years ago. As he was now an old man he was too battered by his time in the front lines to pilot a mobile suit and lead his men in battle. However, he had full faith in Evangeline Yevel to lead his men to victory. Although their team was small. He knew they could handle the easy task of freeing the people of Tomeir. He and his fallen comrades had found the Gundams in the past and used them to make small differences in the Revelation slave areas. They succeeded every time, but he knew the day would come when the Revelation caught wind of their actions. When that happened, he only feared the war it would bring.

Shuya Toriyama, a new pilot to the Revelation forces had been placed in the fourth company, section 7, of the Revelation fleet along with his long term girlfriend Oka. The two of them sat with the rest of the fleet members in front of Captain Sonya Rodham Pavlovena, to get her brief on the tasks they were suppose to carry out and their responsiblities while apart of her ship.
Shuya stood firmly like a good soldier as Oka squirmed next to him. "Hey. Can you stop moving while we're in the Captains presence?" He whispered trying not to get noticed.
"I can't." Oka replied. "I came straight here after waking up. I don't know why we all have to be here. I gotta pee."
Shuya gave a rough sigh. "We have to give respect to her. We're new. We can't ruin first impressions." He stared at the woman who was to command them.

Man she looks scary. I hope she doesn't yell at us. Or worse.

(OOC: Revelation team can post but they must be present at the captains speech. As for the Federation Team, they are attacking Tomeir to free the slaves. Revelation team is currently on earth so they aren't part of the attack. As for the mercenary's, you few are free to post whatever you want. Have fun and welcome to the Gundam RP. Also, one last thing. Post should be no less than 500 words.)

((=.= Code... would you be so kind as to change your post so that almost everyone celebrated? Andros is not the kind of person who would enjoy anything related to war, nor does he drink. He's not exactly a social person.))

Umiko went about her usual route of repairing the Gundams, enduring the harsh words from the people around her that ridiculed her for her talks of the former Orb Union and how peace can never come through mere force. Among other things, she was considered naΓ―ve, especially by the men who held her hostage. At least, she was not the target for more... unpleasant circumstances. She heard rumors of how Tomier's captain frequently used slaves for his sexual appetites. Why she was never a vbictim of such was beyond her, except for the possibility that because of her being half Coordinator, the molester feared some sort of backlash that would wind up with him dead in seconds. Who could blame that Natural? Just look at what happened in the Bloody Valentine Wars; there lies an example of how a Coordinator can overpower a multitude of Naturals at any given time in a battle.

This day, however, she realized something was up. Hearing from the people how one of Revelation's elite pilots faced a Federation ace whom pilots the Strike Freedom II, formerly known as the Strike Freedom. At first, she could not believe it. How could someone have managed to put that machine back together after it was deconstructed centuries ago? But then, it hit her: those parts were always under the possession of the Yamato-Clyne family, handed down from generation to generation. Could it be possible the pilot of that thing was one of her distant cousins? She was a direct descendant of Cagalli Yula Athha, after all. To make matters worse, she heard the strike team which contained the Strike Freedom II was possibly on its way to the base.

She did not want whomever her distant cousin was to die, so she stopped what she was doing and sprinted towards the Akatsuki, the mobile suit that was pivotal in defending Orb when ZAFT attacked during the Second Bloody Valentine War. The personnel present, naturally, shot at her, yet due to her extra speed and agility which typically came with being even a Half-Coordinator, not one lethal shot hit. The ones that did left her with nasty scars on her arms and shoulders, but nothing too major. At last, she made it to the Gundam that has been a part of her family for centuries.

She only knew how to handle the machine because her relatives would give her piloting lessons in it, in case she were ever drafted. activating the Akatsuki, she managed to get it in working order so that she could at least move it. Other machines activated, as well, in response. Two of them. Both shot their beam rifles at her, yet only succeeded in destroying some of their own Gundams by accident via the armor on the Akatsuki making the beams deflect off of it.

From the speakers, she told everyone in the hanger, "Sorry, guys, but family comes first! Whomever my distant cousin is in one of those Mobile Suits out there, I don't want him to die!"

With that, she flew off and into space. More Gundams attacked, yet the results were similar from last time. Three of them had their own beams hit them, causing an explosive spectacle. Umiko brought out the double-bladed beam saber, plus the shield, prior to engaging her new enemies. Most were just ordinary Naturals, hardly a challenge for her. Still, there were those few who gave her a challenge. Those were the ones which she held off with her expertise in melee.

----

Andros was hardly enjoying the party, just sitting back and reading while the others drank and arm wrestled. These Naturals are pretty weird. Granted, the young Coordinator had nothing against Naturals, yet he did not exactly grow up around such people during his time in the PLANTs. Everyone in his home colony was either a Coordinator by genetic alteration during the pre-birth phases, or Coordinators that were descendants of such. A Natural was a rare sight at home. While everyone else partied, he merely continued to read and made note of the person in question being new to the whole scenario.

He only turned his eyes away from the book he had when mention of Tomier was heard. Walking up to hear about the scenario, he shook his head at the thought of the whole team being professionals. "Don't get cocky, fellas. We..." Before he could say anything else, the open channel signaled a verbal fight along with gunshots. Not very disciplined, are they? Speaking his mind on the lack of discipline would have to wait. He got inside the Strike Freedom II quickly then launched, keeping his pace to where he was with everyone else.

Andros was the first to notice something wrong about the enemy mobile suits. "Looks like there's already some heavy fighting, yet it seems to be coming from very close tot he base. It's almost as if someone from the inside started the commotion among them. Adjusting cameras for a better view." What he witnessed next made him widened his eyes. "No wonder there's so much action in front of us! The Mobile Suit the others out there are attacking is the Akatsuki!" Bringing his cameras back to their standard position, his eyes turned diluted, a sign that he was in SEED mode (this enhances his abilities significantly; the exact percentage, stat-wise, is yet to be determined), while he stated,"Group Alpha, to me! Provide covering fire and try to clear a path for the rest of the team!"

After the command, he used the computers to set the multiple targets for his rifles and spikes/funnels (still attached to his Gundam's wings) to shoot at. Surely enough, they all hit and disabled the incoming mobile suits, miraculously not killing the pilots inside. Andros hated killing, reserving that only as a last resolve. Now that he had the enemy's attention, it would hopefully take most of the load off of the pilot of the Akatsuki. Speaking of whom, Andros attempted to get a signal through to the person.

"Pilot of the Akatsuki, this is Andros Yamato-Clyne, pilot of the Strike Freedom II! Please, identify yourself!"
The answer came from a feminine voice. "I am Umiko Marie Athha! I'm piloting this mobile suit because I figured you might need some help!"
"How did you end up there?"
"I was a slave working on the machines. I made my escape with this to come find you and keep from away from death, cousin!"

Andros could barely believe it. He realized the Athhas were his distant cousins, yet it was still unbelievable. How could someone, or even something, from Orb have possibly been captured? Revelation was defeated before they could even enter the Earth's atmosphere; he saw the whole thing. Whatever the case, it did not matter. All that mattered was he had to protect her while completing his task. Careful not to hit Umiko, Andros launched his Gundam's funnels/spikes away to have them close in on the intended targets before blasting away at the enemy's weapons and limbs, disabling more hostile mobile suits, thus enabling Umiko to make her way to the team and support them with her melee skills, plus the armor which lasers bounce off of.

Gregor Cain was not part of the main assault force moving in on this slave pen, nor was he privy to the party at all that occurred before hand, having deployed well in advance of the other members, having recon to take care of before hand, having also supplied the necessary information to the assault forces. He would not be joining the attack right out either, he had another task that he had been given, and that took precedence over what was occurring currently, despite the fact that it was necessary to free the slaves, might get them additional recruits and forces. But the defending forces still had to be broken, and the best way of doing that? Target the commanding officer.

Previous intelligence and recon marked this as one Captain Glurdleworth, a rather ugly and disgusting example of the human race. It would prove worthwhile to actually kill this fellow, for a variety of reasons, and on general principles overall, rather than attempt to capture him for any information he might have. His suit was powered currently, and he was scanning the fighting currently, watching calmly as the fighting was kicking off. A suit broke away from the base, under fire from the other Revelation suits, which was odd, and he raised his rifle, aiming at the situation before him, hidden away under his Jackedge's stealth systems. Once he committed to the fight and engaged, he would be revealed, but until then, he was relatively safe.

Gregor decided that the flying suit could use some aid, of some sort, despite the Strike Freedom II having started firing on the forces going after the besieged suit. He zeroed in the targeting systems, and started firing, the DODS Rifle firing its signature spiraling beams, aiming to kill rather than disable. He respected the ability for the SFII, as he called it for short, to be able to easily disable the suits, but he had no such ability to do so, so he shot to kill. He couldn't waste much time here, he had a target to go after. But it was simple enough to pick off the suits that were not expecting the sudden firing from another angle completely that would imply that there was another flank attack completely. It was only him, granted, but it was a viable method, split their attempts to defend, leave them less able to actually defend them easily against either force. But no, he would not simply content himself to pick away at the enemy defenders, he had a target to eliminate, whether this Captain managed to actually get to a suit or not.

Before he moved, out of necessity, Gregor aimed carefully, picking off another suit that was assaulting the Akatsuki, considering it needed the most aid currently out of the fighting forces. Until his target showed up, he would continue to provide fire support. He hadn't tried to hail anyone, as he had no reason to, and kept an active vigil, firing off a steady stream of rounds from his rifle, relocating from point to point, providing cover fire with his beam rifle, not actively charging into the combat yet, just firing shots from a good distance away, acting as much a sniper than just a part of the assault team.

He was going through the motions so far, the assaulting forces creating a much more pressing concern than a lone Suit disappearing and reappearing, firing off several shots before vanishing under its stealth systems, appearing at another unrelated position, firing again and vanishing, all for the task of either drawing out the Captain in his Suit to bring him down, or simply breach the compound itself alongside the assault forces when the time came, covering for the undisciplined violence before the mission, where the team had attacked each other briefly.

Thanks to assistance from Gregor Cain, Umiko manage to break through the Revelation forces and make it to Andros' side. Unfortunately, she was followed. Andros saw the incoming suit and fired his beam rifle at it, yet the enemy suit somehow evaded it. The suit was piloted by non other than Glurdleworth, and he was coming after Umiko! She managed to block the incoming blade with the Akatsuki's double-bladed beam saber.

Tomier's Captain was furious when he spoke, which everyone, Revelation or Federation, could here on the radio. "You managed to be more trouble than I expected, you bitch! You and that golden mobile suit!"

Umiko was no less furious. "Your failed perverted advances and your relentless slaughtering of innocents were more troublesome than that, Glurdleworth! And this golden mobile suit, is the Akatsuki, which my direct ancestor, Cagalli Yula Athha, piloted when repelling the ZAFT Invasion upon the Orb union during the Second Bloody Valentine War, at the time of the Cosmic Era! And I'm using it..." Her hazel eyes turned diluted as she went into SEED mode. "...to keep you from murdering my cousin!"

Upon entering SEED mode and saying her piece, her abilities were enhanced significantly, allowing her beam saber to break the lock and force the Revelation Captain's suit backwards, even more so when Umiko rammed the Akatsuki's shield at his machine, breaking the left arm off of it. Her lunge with her saber would have hit, were it not for Glurdleworth's evasive maneuvers just barely being on time. He managed to get away from Umiko, but he was unwittingly flying in the direction of Gregor Cain.

Andros contacted Gregor on the Federation channel."Tomier's Captain is all yours, Gregor! Umiko managed to force him in your direction!" turning to Owen, he said, "Owen, stay by Umiko's side and make sure nobody else gets near her for an attack! I'm going in to look for the Extreme pilot! He's been giving us trouble, lately! and he may be here!"

Even with finally breaching the base and heading inside, disabling more suits with his beam rifle while the funnels were attached, there was no sign of him anywhere. Come on... you've got to be here, somewhere... you can't be on Earth, where the Federation is strongest... it would be suicide...

"Owen, stay by Umiko's side and make sure nobody else gets near her for an attack! I'm going in to look for the Extreme pilot! He's been giving us trouble, lately! and he may be here!"

"O-Okay!" Owen immediately moved his Gundam to the front of Akatsuki, swinging his rifle around, preparing for whatever attack might come to them. Zake matched the pilot's Gundam's movements and stopped at the opposite side of the Akatsuki. "I'll give you a backup in case you screw up. Your first mission and you're entrusted with guarding someone. You got some rotten luck there, bro." Zake laughed at Owen, who was busy trying to locate any weird movements from the building or maybe even from somewhere else.

"This will probably make me more famous in the Federation." Owen replied, still aiming his rifle around. "Dude, don't be so tense! We're probably safe for now thanks to Mr. Gregor Cain back there. He probably wiped out the mobile suits that have deployed. Even if they had pilots, Strike would have probably dealt with that in the Tomier." Zake's Gundam slowly put down his rifle, confirming that there were no suits other than theirs and the suit that the Akatsuki had forced to move towards where Gregor Cain was.

"You won't believe me if I said that things never went your way." Owen begged to differ. His rifle was still up, aiming every possible places where mobiles suits might appear. Zake turned to the Akatsuki, putting up the open channel. "Is this the pilot of the Akatsuki, the Gundam which was once piloted by Cagalli Yula Athha? My name is Zake Holl, I am the pilot of the Gundam, Titanium. The other tensed Gundam there is Zexon and his pilot, Owen Kazuya. We're here to provide you defense on the request of Andros Yamoto-Clyne."

Zake took the chance to introduce himself, whereas Owen stayed silent. Owen never dealt well with people inside his mobile suit, but outside of one, he can literally talk to anyone at all. Whether it be a criminal or a warmonger, he is able to converse with them on a level where they at least approve of each other. Things were going well for a moment, but like Owen had predicted, enemies appeared. A squad of seven approached them, firing beams at their location.

The Akatsuki did well on deflecting their lasers, however, this time, the squad was fairly different from the usual beam rifles. One of the laser went right through the shield and hit directly at the Akatsuki's right arm. It only scratched a little bit, but the fact that they were firing more than what Akatsuki can handle was trouble. Zexon quickly moved in front and activated it's GN shield. It managed to deflect some attack, but amount of random lasers was too much for even Zexon to handle. "Zake, we got a problem. We'll need the Akatsuki to move on. Their suits were using GN particles, and Akatsuki's shield isn't capable of blocking them.

Zake waited for a moment before nodding. He trusted the purple haired pilot's words and pulled out his rifle. "Alright. I'll leave this to you, Owen. Don't die on me now!" Firing a few shots, Zake turned and moved forward, begging the Akatsuki pilot to follow him. "Let's go. We need to reach the others. Owen's still new at this but he can defend himself. Don't let the newbie's hard work go to waste."

Upon returning to the Yellow King, Stride parked H.P. in its proper place and jumped out of the cockpit, his boots thumping hard against the metal floors. As he walked to his pilot seat, grabbing his longcoat along the way, he heard a clunk, signaling yet another piece dropping from somewhere he probably wouldn't find. He walked over to the engine room and opened the door, hearing a whisper as he did so and remembering the last exorcist he had called here. Poor guy went mad, kept saying there was no such thing as a ghost. Stride then placed two fingers to his lips, whistled, and heard a soft rustling noise as Honeybunches, his sugar baby that he found crawling around in Yellow King when he'd salvaged it, crawled up his pants leg and jumped into his pocket, snuggling at the warmth from Stride's body. Stride smiled, took a look at the mess that was the engine, and then cracked his knuckles, getting to work on fixing up the old hunk of scrap to usable conditions again.

Five hours later, it was as good as an engine that had probably seen what a supernova looked like from the inside could get. Wiping the sweat off of his brow, Stride and Honeybunches went back to the engine room, where Stride placed the little guy on what a mini-pilot seat. Honeybunches then grabbed the little flange of metal and fabric that Stride had fashioned into a seat belt and clicked it in. It took Stride two years to teach him that. Until then, there was always a little ball of fur bouncing around while in flight, and as cute as that was, had ultimately resulted in the poor thing breaking a rib. With both of them securely tied down, Stride hit the power, and slowly lifted off into the air, Yellow King's metal grumbling in disrespect and protest against any form of physics.

As Stride flew the ship off to his main mechanic's shop for the upgrades, he came across a Revel/rebel skirmish on a shuttle halfway through his flight. Not one to waste a good fight, he aimed his beam cannon at one of the smaller ones and fired, taking out a relatively minor Mobile Suit. The more dangerous looking Gundams he made sure to avoid with the laser, due to the fact that it would probably only scratch them, if that. However, so as to not be COMPLETELY defenseless, he also armed the EMP mines, which had been the best his mind could design. Each mine on its own could fry a Gundam's circuits with ease if they got within range, and unlike most machines, Yellow King had a tendency to not break in any way until he touched down. He then unbuckled himself and Honeybunches, ran to the loading bay, jumped into H.P., and dropped from the bay and fired up his lance, landing on another Mobile Suit.

"HEY REVELATION!" Stride shouted over the airwaves, Honeybunches standing triumphantly on his shoulder for all to see, "HELL OF A PARTY YOU GOT GOING HERE! I ALMOST FELT OBLIGATED TO CRASH IT!" With that, he disappeared again, reappearing on the other side of several Mobile Suits, lance in hand and ablaze with energy. As he cut the propulsion, the Mobiles in a straight path behind him simply fell apart, sliced cleanly in half. "HOPE YOU DON'T MIND MY CUTTING IN! BUT BAD PUNS ASIDE, ANYONE WHO ISN'T REVELATION SPEAK NOW, OR FOREVER REST IN PIECES!" he yelled again, pointing his lance into the air.

((Thunder, Tomier is a space station, not a planet.))

Umiko lifted the Akatsuki's shield, only to have a GN beam go right through it and hit her mobile suit. Something was not right: The Akatsuki was able to survive a shot from a battleship when Mu La Flaga piloted it, once. Were GN particles truly that powerful? She almost did not catch Zake's words while she pondered the question. Following him, she made sure she was not followed, this time.

Meanwhile, Andros could not find the Extreme pilot anywhere. Where could he be? It was odd that the person's mobile was nowhere in sight. He decided instead to keep enemy Gundams inside from coming out. Andros used both his beam rifles to make the task easier. Gregor could handle the station's captain.

Gregor had not been quick to engage the apparently fleeing Captain, the actions had matched the profile he had for the man, but that meant nothing in the short term here. He had to deal with him, regardless of the shifting battlefield situation. He would have to assume that the others could handle themselves, which wasn't too much of a stretch. They were competent in their own manners, and the Akatsuki suit had made it back in one piece. Well, mostly, from observed events, but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed, no doubt. The newcomer was also acting rather flamboyantly and rashly, but it gave him the distraction that was needed from the suits that had tried to move to defend their fleeing Captain. He responded to the man's deceleration, doubting he would have the ability to read the IFF systems that were in place for some Federation suits. "G-Exes Jackedge, Federation. Do be so kind and not point the lance my way." Rather than his name or rank, he used his suit model as a form of identification, it was viable as the model was distinct from the others.

With the Captain's guard distracted, it would be easy to hunt down his wounded suit, and cut this mad dog's life short. On the Federation commline, which he kept open for the sake of keeping up with orders and whatnot, he warned the lot of his intent. "Engaging their captain, let's see if this shakes up their organization at all." With that, he engaged the suit's boosters, shooting out of stealth, rifle firing in the direction of the Captain, aiming to suppress rather than kill. The man was no doubt cursing and ranting, as he had at the pilot of the Akatsuki, but he had deliberately blocked out that public comm channel he had broadcasted on, but not all of them so he had caught what the lancer had to say. But enough idle thoughts, it was time to enter a most familiar dance.

Captain Glurdleworth had acted as predicted, entering an evasive pattern to avoid getting hit with the beam rounds, but that slowed him down just enough. Rifle already locked onto the suits rear storage location, Gregor chopped downwards with a Beam tomahawk, the hostile Captain moving out of the way, cleaving at the Jackedge before him. Firing the thrusters to duck the attack, he slammed the tomahawk into one of the hostile suit's legs, destroying the link outright and carrying through, severely damaging the second leg. A downward swipe was deflected alongside his shield, and he cleaved upwards, taking the saber arm off at where the elbow joint was located, sending it spiraling away.

Another swing jammed the tomahawk's beam edge into the chest of the suit, keeping the man from ejecting and trying to survive that way. Producing the beam saber of his, he ignored the indicator that the man was trying to contact him. Try to beg for his survival, surrender, or some such nonsense. Gregor would not be having any of it, instead driving the Beam Saber straight into the cockpit, instantly killing off the disgrace of a man, and he retrieved his tomahawk before boosting away from the dead captain's suit, more to avoid the retaliation from the oncoming suits that broke off to try and stop him from killing their captain.

Producing his own rifle and returning fire at the oncoming hostiles, he knew full well he wasn't going to shake them, not having ever put the necessary work into making his suit capable of high speed, high flight maneuverability. Firing at the oncoming suits, he would still kill one or two, but he was making a beeline back for friendly Federation forces, having finished the job that required him to be off on his own. "Get some covering fire, if you folks would be so kind?" He had noted Andros had entered the station, and many less hostiles were coming out. Stemming the tide, probably, and he angled that way, to breach the station and help out there, trusting the outside forces to clean up, and cover him in the process.

Andros heard Stride and the somewhat insane words coming from him while he was storming the space station. Judging from the tone of voice, the man was not kidding in his request. As such, he felt it important to let him know he is a Federation comrade. "Andros Yamato-Clyne, Strike Freedom II. I am inside Tomier with the pilot of the Jackedge. We are taking on the Revelation suits, and I am personally looking for one enemy pilot in particular. Haven't found him yet, but once I do, I intend to capture him alive. And please, don't destroy any mobile suits that already are incapable of fighting." Another disabling shot at another Revelation suit, and he turned his attention to Gregor. "Gregor, I'm not that great with melee, so I may need help if I end up crossing blades with somebody."

As if on cue, one of the enemy suits charged forward to try to stab the Strike Freedom II, Andros responding by having the SFII pull out the beam saber to block. While he was able to hold the foe off, it was as he said: his skill in melee was not like that of ranged. As such, he only knew basic moves. He could barely keep from being sliced as it was. During the saber lock, he decided to kick the enemy away, which forcing foes away was the most he could do, not at all useful for confronting a persistent pilot.

----

Umiko made it to the squadrons of the Federation, yet she saw that Owen had difficulty fighting off the mobile suits that were on him. Thankfully, her help was not needed, since he personally dealt with them. Then, she remembered that Stride wanted to know who is friendly, so she let him know through the open channel. "Umiko Athha, piloting the Akatsuki. My cousin, Andros Yamato-Clyne, is piloting the Strike Freedom II and is inside the base engaging Revelation pilots."

After saying what she had to, she caught a glimpse of one of the few remaining cannons on aimed at the group. She knew if it were to hit the others, there would be heavy casualties. The person she worried for most in this situation, however, was Owen, whom was ahead of everyone.

"Owen! Look out!" She flew the Akatsuki in front of the Zexio right on time to take the hit, the beam splitting in different directions, yet did not hit anyone else. Though the armor was not harmed by the beam, she struggled to keep the Akatsuki from moving backwards. With the beam gone, the cannon seemed to have detonated itself. No further shots ftrom the base came, which possibly meant the cannons and turrets were disabled. She panted heavily while using the Akatsuki to grab Owen's mobile suit by the wrist and pull him towards everyone else. There was no immediate danger, for the moment. "You okay?"

Stride smiled at the first two speaking over the airwaves, and was about to go ballistic when he heard the guy named Andros speak. On a different channel. And was confirmed by Akatsuki's pilot. This was when he got his big idea, and dropped all other radio channels, firing up a single person-to-person channel with Andros.
"Heaven Piercer reporting, quick question. Is the pilot of the Jackedge with you because his Gundam was hijacked? Because I just got a call from a pilot of said Jackedge. Feel free to elaborate. Til then, screw your limitations, Imma hunt me some Revelation scum!"
Firing up his lance, Stride blasted through the rank and file Mobile Suits of the Revelation, not caring if the resultant damage killed or not. His lance's energy propulsion system was very efficient, and capable of reabsorbing energy it had dispersed in one way or another, meaning as long as there was combat, there would be propulsion to use. So, sensible pilot he was, he spammed the f*ck out of it, using it to maneuver in ways most pilots weren't going to be used to seeing. Then he started up a second radio link with "Jackedge", and made note that he used a different radio channel than Andros, so that neither pilot would know he was talking to the other.
"Jackedge, this is Heaven Piercer, report status, I'm detecting several Mobile Suits in your area with Revelation radio channels." He failed, of course, to mention that "Jackedge" himself was on that list.

Gregor smirked as he entered the base, spotting a suit charging Andros and he got the comm message from the man. stating his preference of ranged combat, but before he could actually respond an enemy actually charged the Strike Freedom, and he couldn't but a beam through it just yet. When it was kicked away, however, he dove forward in the Jackedge, shield blocking the attempted saber blow to stop his approach. He rammed the bayonet right into where the cockpit of the suit should have been, firing a point blank beam as he slammed the suit downwards, withdrawing the rifle and placing it onto his back armor. Deciding to cover Andros from melee foes, he activated the beam tomahawk, shield prepared in front of him as well. Any foe that might charge would have to contend from ranged attacks from the Strike Freedom II, and if they closed the gap, he would be waiting with the beam tomahawk. He wasn't a dedicated melee suit, but he was far more comfortable with the scenario than others might be. "I'll keep the hounds at bay, Andros, lets move."

The comm message from the merc made him chuckle, and he responded easily to the man, not concerned with how someone might jump to traitorous conclusions. "When able, I tap the Revelation communications for interesting information, and feed some disinformation when the opportunity arises. It's par for the course when it comes to warfare." Such occurrences were nothing new or shocking, hence his lack of concern with explaining the comm channels that he knew were not as well hidden as one would expect. Seeing a myriad of comm networks would surprise both sides standard forces, and unless either knew who he was and what his job was, it would give him time to act.
