|| Appearance ||
Even though Saki is an adult, she tends to look very much like a teenager, or even a child at some points. This is mostly because of her height, since she is, after all, only 5 feet and 4 inches tall, despite being a fully grown woman (who will not become any taller.) As thought, she isn't very strong either, having a very thin and frail body, but enabling her to move quick and fast. She likes to wear normal clothing, well, normal as in something your grandmother may wear, but only because it's warm and comfortable. She tends to wear heavy clothing wherever she goes, not liking to show too much skin.

Image|| Personality ||
Sakiko is a very kind and sweet person. She's always optimistic about things, not believing in sayings that if it's useless then you should give up. In fact, she doesn't like it when people give up on something, despite how insane or crazy as it may be. She's always encouraging someone to try their hardest to the very end, and she lives up to this saying of hers also, wanting to be at her best until she takes her last breath.

Saki is very considerate of others also. No matter what they think of her, or others, she always takes their opinions into mind, even though they can sometimes be lying (since she is very naive and dense to lies). Despite this though, she always takes in their thoughts and feelings first before hers, always putting others before her own life.

Yet although she may sound lovely and wonderful, Saki knows the job she's taken, and because of this, knows her sacrifices and when's the right time to act a certain act. At some points in her life, she can be quite serious, more serious than anyone's ever seen her, and while this can make her very out of her own character, its true, and during this stage of her emotions, she takes every word and action seriously. Still, this hardly ever happens, even on her job, so most people see that clumsy yet smiling side to her.

✎ Children - Despite the situation, Saki will always, always be hesitant around children when she's working to catch a criminal. Anything said that would impact them, or anything done that would impact them would scar her for life, so no matter the situation, she will always restrain herself around children.

✎ Sight - One of the worst problems she'll ever have is her sight. She's unable to see, at all, without her glasses. Therefore, if they were knocked off, she wouldn't be able to see a thing unless it were a foot or so away from her. This happens often, both for bullying (even at her age) and during chases for criminals. Without her glasses, she is useless, unfortunately.

|| Personal Strengths ||
⚖ Mathematics - An odd skill to have as an inspector, but Saki is insanely good at math. She's been able to solve codes and depict problems within minutes, even seconds depending on the situation, and while most people do worse under pressure, Saki actually works faster while under pressure. Most times she'll write things down in her note book, but on rare occasions, she'll be able to do them in her head.

⚖ Running - Well, putting aside her clumsiness, Saki is great at running, and jumping over objects. When the situations calls on it, Saki's clumsiness unusually disappears and she can sprint for over a mile, non-stop in a chase, and go incredible things no one would expect a mere woman like her could do such as jumping over fences or hopping down various flights of stairs, making a swift and perfect landing without any hesitation.

|| Personal Weakness ||
âœĨ Clumsiness - Unfortunately, Saki is very, very clumsy. She tends to slip often because how unstable her legs are and makes a lot of noises when she's supposed to be quiet. As hard as she's tried to stop this from continuing, there is no way to stop how many times she'll trip and fall, so people have learned to deal with it after meeting her and being around her for a while.

âœĨ Overly Kind - Saki's kindness is sometimes mistaken, or even used. Mostly, because she is so nice, she will be used as to get things, regardless of what they are.

âœĨ Naive - And because she gets used a lot, she's obviously naive. She doesn't understand some people's motives, most times, and has troubles in figuring out odd situations, such as someone claiming to be her friend and asking for money.

|| Usual Psycho-Pass Level||
You'll hardly ever see Sakiko's phsyco-pass level go beyond 40. Her record has gone up to 52, but besides that one day, she's always stayed at her innocent number; 33.

Sakiko woke up to a very odd morning, starting with her falling off her bed. From there, it went to using her brother's toothbrush, and then to forgetting to eat as she was on her way to her new job; being an inspector. Honestly though, there was no special reason for why she wanted, and somehow, became an inspector, 'Dad did it, so I will too.' Is what she told herself while heading to the building, deciding to walk rather than take any type of car or vehicle.

She glanced down at the map she had in her hands. Even though it was her second week on the job, she still had her troubles trying to get there and making her way to her office, "W-Which way again?" She asked herself, still feeling very anxious to go to her work since she didn't blend in, at all.

Saki wasn't like the others who worked there. She was most definitely not a criminal, she wasn't serious, and she hardly even looked like an adult. This always brought her down when she thought of it, but she decided not to pay any attention to it. After all, she wouldn't let things get to her that easily. She had to be tougher than her appearance to take on the job she currently does.

But still, she wasn't exactly 'Inspector material.' Her clumsiness proved this, and she often tripped and dropped things if she wasn't chasing a criminal down. Still, Saki did have her good and bad qualities, both as a regular woman and as an inspector.

After finally arriving at the right building, she then had to find out which floor, and which room. She knew she wasn't alone with her enforcer, but there would also be another pair with them. Saki didn't mind more people, but she did get insanely nervous around them since they were all over five years older than her. Was she really that young? Apparently so.

After finally finding an elevator to get to the right floor, she studied the map, but couldn't see well, so first, she began to clean her glasses and did it quickly since more people began to pour into the elevator, making her feel uncomfortable since she was slightly claustrophobic. But she took this time to study her map and instructions to her room with the others; her enforcer, Takeru, and the other duo, Seiren and Hayato.

Once she finally got off the elevator, after waiting for the other people to get off on their stop, she arrived on the right floor. Well, she thought and hoped she did, but Saki confirmed this after asking someone else for directions, and pointed her in the right way, "T-Thank you!" She stuttered, again, and ran off.

Saki started in a dash for her office, checking the time on her phone every now and then, nearly bumping into a few other workers along the way, 'Nice going for making a first impression...' She pouted to herself, yet continued her sprint anyways.

Lucky her. She wasn't as late as she expected, "G-Good morning!" Saki announced to the three after arriving at her office. She yelled it a little loudly, even though she was out of breath, but perhaps that was just because she was nervous, as she always was.

That moment of weakness vanished as soon as it appeared.. thankfully. However, while she escaped unscathed from the events, the coffee pot had a worse fate. Seiren could only just stand and merely frown at the mess she created, a blur of black and white briefly distracting her attention. Before a retort or a mew of protest could have been uttered, Hayato was at her side with a new set of demands, demands of which concerned her well being. "Dammit! Are you alri-" began his words, his own tongue inflicting their demise. Opening her own mouth to respond, the Enforcer was about to reassure him that she was completely safe before closing it once more at the slew of hushed curses that reached her ears. With a frown taking up residency once more, her mind begun it’s battle on whether or not she should assist her Inspector in the tedious task of shard-picking...that is, before her inner voice whispered to her, swiftly putting an end to the debate. You’ve caused enough trouble..just let him do his thing and be done with it.

Within a matter of moments, the carpet was freed from the glass splinters and Hayato was back at his computer, the room relapsing back into a moment of stifling silence. "Be careful next time." floated out his hidden mutter, that twinge of apathy coloring it once more. With a small huff, Seiren merely glanced back down at her clenching fists before unclenching them, a habit she developed when struck with uncertainty or agitation, her own reply coming out just slightly frosty. ”Yeah, alrightâ€Ļ Though it’s not like I did it intentionally...Can’t really control it..” It’s not my fault those headaches randomly appear, you know.. mused those stone-laced thoughts, that frown deepening to one side. It was then he waltzed into the office, a slightly idiotic smile plastered onto his face.

"I'm more ashamed of you, Stick-kun! You should always wrap it before you tap it!" came Takeru’s childish declaration, apparently alerting everyone of his presence..as if the sliding door wasn’t enough. With a soft sigh, Seiren replaced that frown with a half-smirk, those crimson orbs now gleaming with amusement. Opening her mouth to greet the new person, such intentions were ruined with the continuation of his speech. "I do enjoy my explosions, but those kind are.... Just keep that kinda talk to yourself, please." Quirking an eyebrow at his childish accusations and expression, distaste quickly stamped its appearance onto Seiren’s features...perhaps mostly likely due to the lack of knowledge she possessed in figuring out what he was referring to. With a shake of her head, the reprimandation came softly, masked by the sigh that followed. ”Takeruâ€Ļâ€Ļ.. you should keep such comments to yourself. Especially so early in the morning..you are disturbing everyone.” Sending a quick glance over at Hayato, the ex-Inspector retrained her gaze back onto the rambunctious young man, a guarded smile tossed his way. ”Late, aren’t you? What..not excited to meet your new Inspector?” sang out her joking tone, teasing quite blatant in the words.

Before she had time to even blink, the door flew open once more to reveal a girl of small stature and clothes a size too big.. yet, one thing instantly stood out to Seiren...and lets just say she hated it. S..she’s actually taller... than me!? fumed her outraged thoughts, disbelief more or less causing such a reaction versus anger. Keeping that gaze on the newbie, a slight frown placed itself onto her mouth as the young women went through the formalities.

Takeru Kazami

”Takeruâ€Ļâ€Ļ.. you should keep such comments to yourself. Especially so early in the morning..you are disturbing everyone.” Seiren sighed. She had probably just figured he wasn't ever going to listen, and putting any effort into her words was meaningless. He'd have to say it was a smart move.

"They need to wake up anyway. Too much sleep makes you sleepy, and sleepy people are boring people." Takeru explained as he took his a step away from the door he had just entered through.

”Late, aren’t you? What..not excited to meet your new Inspector?” she asked. He felt like it was teasing. Well, 'Takeru' did.

The young man shook his head in disagreement. "No, quite the opposite. I'm hoping my new one won't be as boring as the last. After all, that man's most exciting moment in life was probably the end of that, and it was laughable at best how he died. Could've gone out in a much more spectacular way but.... nope. Boring, just like him. If there's any chance of having someone not BORING-" he shot a glance at Hayato, then returned it to Seiren as he continued. "- then I'll be glad or maybe even excited!"

Ah yes, I think her name was Sakiko? All I heard was that she was a new recruit, which makes me question what they were thinking. I know I have a pretty high level, so they pass me on to someone who is inexperienced? Maybe they think their guns keep them safe. My last Inspector learned that lesson the hard way, and now I might have to look over this person to make sure they're not killed. Wouldn't want to keep switching people. Harder to manipulate people within a shorter timespan, after all.

Takeru was about to take a seat when suddenly....

"G-Good morning!" came a small but loud voice, causing Takeru to change his attention to the cause.

G-good morning? Someone spray her with something, the stench of nervousness makes me puke! I really hope I don't need backup anytime ever. I don't think she'll be much help.... Ah, but I should greet her.

"Hola! How are you? You must be.... " he paused, as if to think. After an awkward amount of time, he continued. "Sa-chan! I've been waiting for you, you know. Been here forever, ask these guys. Well, nevermind, don't ask them. Instead, what is your favorite food? Is it bananas? Don't answer that, I'd hate to know. Instead, I'll introduce myself. I am Takeru Kazami, but you can call me." he shot the young woman a wink but then continued on immediately. "I just noticed something.... " Takeru's glance quickly shot to Seiren, then back to Sakiko. This process repeated.... five times.

"You're taller than her." he smiled. "But it is definitely not a problem. She gets by with her impediment with ease. Don't bring it up though or she'll get madder than a midget with a yo-yo, and you don't want that." this felt like a good amount of rambling to Takeru. He couldn't think of anymore gibberish to spit out, and honestly, he was even annoyed at himself. Plus, he could tell someone was self-conscious about their height just by body language. He wouldn't be surprised if that's the first thing Seiren noticed about his new Inspector.

He might've been in deep water, too.

Oh well, burning bridges narrows choices.

Hayato Itsuya

Hayato surprisingly was able to stop the urge to smack the newcomer. The enforcer who had walked in was a constant annoyance to his side, and he could never get used to his stupid ways or that retarded nickname he had given him. It worse then the other white haired inspector stupidity...or just about the same.

Like most inspectors, he ignored the comments that came out of the enforcer's mouth. It was never really important, and half the time...like now for instance. He had just decided to ignore the comment, as he continued to go through the history of the cameras and other case files. It was just annoying he had to deal with this alone. Where was the new girl...Uenomi right? He held back a sigh, as he took a glance toward the man. He could never fathom on how he had such a high psycho-pass yet acted like a little brat...which was only one of the reasons why he didn't trust him.

Though, that enforcer's talking was countered by Seiren, much to his relief. He didn't feel like arguing today.

A beeping from the holographic wall brought his attention back to the screen. Clicking on view, the camera brought up a video surveillance of a motel called "Hagekure." He zoomed in, to see a hooded figure turning slightly to see his full face tahnkfully. Clicking pause, the video stopped, and he zoomed in. More buttons pushed, facial recognition activated, and confirmed the match was at least 87%...good enough to check out. The video said it was 3:47 AM today.

Did that mean another body was in the possession of that screwed up bastard? A frown entered his features, as he scowled slightly at the screen. It was also possible that it wasn't him, or he'll be gone for that matter.

It didn't matter, though a loud voice rang out of nowhere. He winced a bit, as the voice echoed, the scowling deepening further, as he looked toward the new comer. There was the new inspector. He sighed, before just saying a single phrase.

"Your late."

With that said, he clicked on a button, and the holographic wall quickly lit up, and he sent it to the other inspectors. It was a lead, so he'd have to go over it with them later when they met up. With that done, he turned to Seiren.

"Torai, Get some security drones around the Hagekure Motel. Geru might be there right now." He said coolly, and quickly before turning toward the new inspector.

"You, come with me." He said curtly, before turning and walking out of the office. He did slowdown his pace a bit, just so the girl could follow.

Shouichi Byakurai

ImageThis time he was able to hear footsteps before the quiet inspector made an appearance. Usually, he would say at least a word of greeting and he'd jump out of surprise...he should attach a bell to him or something...like a cat... but it seemed like today, he was actually paying attention, focusing on the quiet footsteps that signaled the other's arrival.

Shouichi shot him a grin, and responded back happily. "Morning Geo-kun! Having a nice day so far?" He asked, the childish grin never leaving his face. Shouichi had made it a habit of at least trying to get that quiet introvert to talk to him, more and more everyday. He'd like to think it was slowly working.

Though before the other man could respond, the door opening, revealing the dark hair enforcer. He laughed a bit at her question when she walked in, before waving at her with his hand up.

"I missed you Tete-chan! Good morning!" The stupid looking grin never leaving his face as he spoke. It was a common thing for her to come in like that, so he had gotten used to it. Even the "kid" nickname didn't bother him at all...well it never did in the first place, but it was a weird name.

He was at least a year older then the woman.

Though, he did hear the question that she asked the other inspector, and he sighed. It was really hard to be in the room with two smokers. He didn't want lung cancer. Luckily Mako-chan didn't smoke. Speaking of which, where was she?

"Tete-chan? Geo-kun? Don't smoke in here! The stench always stays in here." he asked, putting his hands together in a begging form of sort. Though that easy going grin was still on his face.

Though while he faced away from his computer, it let out a short light beep, to show new mail had come in.

"Your late." The one with silver hair said.

"I-Im sorry..." Was all she could make out quietly, nervous about talking to older people. Up next spoke the brown haired man afterwards.

"Hola! How are you? You must be...."

"M-My name is-" Sakiko began, about to say her name but her stuttering took up far too much of her time, so she was unable to finish. But the brown haired man seemed to have already known her name.

"Sa-chan!"

"Yes!" Saki said, as if she was reporting in for something. She had been so anxious and so stiff, since it was her first job ever, that she didn't even know how to talk casually anymore.

"I've been waiting for you, you know. Been here forever, ask these guys. Well, nevermind, don't ask them. Instead, what is your favorite food? Is it bananas? Don't answer that, I'd hate to know. Instead, I'll introduce myself. I am Takeru Kazami, but you can call me."

"S-Sorry for being late... I got lost here along the way." She said while rubbing the back of her neck, only the tips of her finger reaching her neck since the rest of her hand was covered in the oversized wool jacket she wore, "My... favorite food?" She wondered, not knowing why someone would ask her that, but she responded by saying, "A-Anything sweet, I guess... And nice to meet you, Mr. Kazami!" She said, bowing very respectfully and politely.

Various thoughts ran through her head, 'T-These people are all years older than me... They must think I'm just a child!' She thought, frightened of the fact that she'd be looked down upon.

"I just noticed something.... "

Saki saw Takeru's eyes shift from her, to the woman slightly shorter than her, and then back to her as he said, "You're taller than her."

"R-Really?" Saki asked, accidentally letting a bit of an excite tone hint at her voice. She couldn't help it. Saki was always being called short and was always presumed to be a teenager, even a child at some points, even though she was already 21 years of age. When she was taller than someone, anyone really, it made her a bit more confident and happy, but she struggled not to show the smile on her face, despite the other woman's surprised looking face.

"But it is definitely not a problem. She gets by with her impediment with ease. Don't bring it up though or she'll get madder than a midget with a yo-yo, and you don't want that."

Saki glanced at him for a moment, 'Did he recognize the mistake he just made?' She asked herself as her eyes shifted back to the other woman, sure that she would lash out at him or something of the sort. But, just as he said, she said nothing of it and just nodded with a smile.

"Torai, Get some security drones around the Hagekure Motel. Geru might be there right now." Saki all of a sudden heard Hayato say, making her jump a bit from a different voice coming out of no where, but trying her best not to show it too much. If she was going to prove she wasn't as flimsy as she looked, she'd have to begin with first impressions. Unfortunately for her, that wasn't going too well.

"You, come with me." Hayato told Sakiko as he walked out of the office. Saki immediately followed, no complaints, no words. His pace wasn't too fast, so she didn't struggle to try and keep up, but it did make her wonder exactly where he was taking her.

'Maybe it's like a thing they do for newcomers?' She hoped. At least, she hoped it wasn't anything bad that she got herself in trouble with. Deciding to take her chances, she said in a quiet, squeaky and small voice, "U-Um... where are we going, sir?" She quickly added in the sir, just for respect as she usually would.

Hayato Itsuya
Image

He glanced at the new inspector, slowing down more to allow her to walk side by side. It was easier for him to explain when she was beside him, instead of trailing behind him like a puppy.

Oh god...was he like that when he first joined?

Well, he couldn't blame her. After all, she had just joined recently, only coming into the field now, after going through a short orientation with other new Inspectors and such. But still, he wondered briefly why she got assigned to him. He wasn't the most patient person here at the HQ. It would have been a better choice to pair her with Inspector Allen, or even Inspector Byakurai.

But then again, if she was one of two mentioned would be assigned with him...and Allen was good, but he works at a slow pace compared to him, and Byakurai... is just plain weird. Hayato doubted he could spend a whole day with that smiling, sweet-eating, loud, man-child. Well, without going insane... He grimaced at the thought of having both Takeru and him in the same room.

As he registered her question, he glanced at her.

"I have to take you to the briefing room." He said simply, before looking at her again. She was nervous. He could easily tell. "Your not in trouble. If I spent all my time chasing after late Inspectors then I'd have a shitload of more work." He added, after a sigh. Were all newcomers like this? Or just her? Maybe just her... she wasn't like most people who join the Inspector ranks.

"I need to show you all the case files for the current case Inspector Allen, Byakurai, and I are working on... Do you watch the news? Surely you've heard about a string of murders, right?" He asked, though it was more of a statement then a question. The only way not to have heard it is if you never read the newspaper, or watch the news,or listen to the radio. After all, the news were more like crows to the carcass.

Fucking annoying pests.

The silver haired inspector stopped in front of one of the doors. He scanned his ID, and the door clicked to show it was unlocked. He flicked on the lights, and the room was fair larger then expected. A large rectangular table was in the center, and of course chairs tucked under the table. The room itself was quite plain in itself, compared to an Inspector's office. Flicking on the computer, and clicking a button on the table the walls glowed briefly, before a low hum came out of nowhere as pictures began to pulled up, along with case files.

The walls suddenly had three coloumns. One had facts about "The Artist," the middle column had facts labeled "Murderers," and the last one had a list of the victims. Hayato decided against bringing up the photos of the bodies, as the last time he did that someone walked in and almost barfed up his lunch. they were indeed pretty...gruesome.

"I have to take you to the briefing room."

"R-Right...." Saki said quietly, not wanting to be too loud, annoying, or too much of a pest. Being the youngest of the group still really did bother her. She felt like she had to act like one of them; tense, respectful, and mature, but anyone who took one look at her could tell that would most definitely not happen.

"Your not in trouble."

Saki brought her eyes up off the ground, since she made a habit of doing that when she was nervous and looked at Hayato. Of course, she still looked anxious, but there seemed to be some relief in her eyes as she said quietly to herself, "Thank goodness..."

"If I spent all my time chasing after late Inspectors then I'd have a shitload of more work."

After hearing this, Saki couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. She tried to hide it under her thick wool jacket, but there seemed to have been a little sound of a puff of air coming from her, which she hoped wasn't noticeable, since she always presumed people, or Inspectors, to be insanely serious, not even bothering to smile or laugh. Saki wanted to blend in, so she had to try her best to act the same, which would never work, obviously.

"I need to show you all the case files for the current case Inspector Allen, Byakurai, and I are working on..."

"I see..." Saki said slowly, trying to recall which cases she had gotten an early notice about, but since she was so focused on getting to her job on time, which she didn't, and impress her coworkers, which she didn't, she actually forgot all that she had studied days on days about. But she decided not to say something about that just yet.

Do you watch the news? Surely you've heard about a string of murders, right?"

Well, actually, she had to, "Y-Yes!" She nodded quickly. It was true that she had watched the news. Saki made a habit of doing it in her free time, so this was her way of repaying for them. As she thought more about it, she felt a bit sick as she murmured, "Right... the 'Artist.'

Saki followed right behind Hayato as he led her to a computer where he pulled up articles on 'The Artist.' She watched it all and scanned the words quickly, just as quick as she'd do math, but she didn't find any pictures. Not that she wanted to, but she figured it'd give her a better idea of the crimes, "Please let me see a few pictures, Mr. Itsuya." She said determinedly.

Saki knew she didn't look like the type of person to handle disgusting pictures, but when she looked at Hayato, she didn't exactly look the same as that nervous and anxious girl who went to work late, "Please, sir." She added, "I know I may not look reliable to handle any sort of deaths, but I assure you that this will be no problem for me. I am an inspector, after all."

Hearing her response, he blinked for a moment. Well, she was a detective. From her record, she had been the top student. So it should be fine...but then again, she was a bit immature still, and he didn't want to exactly scar her mind so soon in the job. But she still was a detective...she did have a right to know what this bastard did.

Hayato offered a shrug to her, then spoke back easily. "Well... just don't freak out and scream."

Pressing a few buttons on the computer, the pictures of the victim's body came up, along with their murderers next to the pictures. All the dead bodies so far was of young women, and the killers were older men...

well, except for the one they were after right now... he was barely an adult.

He clicked the first picture, and it was blown up. "First victim, Amagia Amiko, 19. Multiple stab wounds, killed through a stab in the heart. Eyes were gouged out and found in trachea. Dressed as a cupid." The murderers picture came up. "Sayuri Hideki, caught then committed suicide in prison."

The next picture came up. Kamichi Rie, 21. Killed by a knife through the neck. Found hanging in a church ceiling. Eyes were gone and found in trachea. Hiroko Sato was killed at the scene." In a big bloody mess thanks to yours truly." he added silently. Seriously, sometimes he wished the dominators didn't blow up the person. It made clean up take a hell lot longer at it was up to yours truly to supervise it.

He was perfectly fine with killing bastards like him. If that's what the system dictated, he'd have to follow.

"Nara Namika, 20. Killed by blunt force trauma. The body was nailed to an ally wall through the biceps and positioned to look like an Eygption pose...at least some what. Killer is currently in the mental health ward..." And untouchable, thanks to his Psycho-pass level. Hayato added in his mind with a scowl.

He hesitated to click on the last current victim. It was the worse out of all of them...and he only looked at it if needed to. Shrugging it off, the picture blew up on the wall. The torso of a woman came up, but only the torso. The body's arms, legs and head was missing, along with the organs. Their was blood all over the body, and ribs were poking out of it and bones were visible in the picture. Hayato remembered the scene clearly, since there was an overwhelming stench of blood. The crimson liquid was everywhere.

"Last victim. Rikana Kyoko, 17. Body was cut open and organs taken out. Body's limbs were cut off, post-mortim." Which was some comfort, seeing as the the girl didn't suffer. If it was ripped of why she was alive...

"The missing parts were found in a bucket near the body." He added, as the picture closed so Akira Geruna's picture came up.

"He's the link to the Artist right now. I just received a message the other inspectors that they'll go ahead to capture him, since we got a hit on his face sometime last night." Why had he gone home that day? He should have stayed for a bit more, and gone to go get him...then it would have been way faster.

"That's the case so far." He said simply, as the pictures close. Hayato let out a sigh, then clicked on a few more keys. The video that he had found earlier came up, and he pointed toward the wall. "He's currently at a motel on the east side of Tokyo. If we're lucky, he's still there." Hayato stopped speaking after that to let the girl soak in the amount of information he just gave out.

"Well... just don't freak out and scream." Saki heard Hayato say.

She nodded and said, "Thank you, sir. I won't." And with that, he pulled up the the bodies as Saki studied them.

The pictures and images looked horrible disturbing. Saki did have to cringe when she saw them, but she most definitely wasn't going to scream. That was something she wouldn't allow herself to do as she took a deep breath and looked closer at the computer, fixing her glasses as she got a better look.

"First victim, Amagia Amiko, 19. Multiple stab wounds, killed through a stab in the heart. Eyes were gouged out and found in trachea. Dressed as a cupid. Sayuri Hideki, caught then committed suicide in prison."

Saki looked at the picture and recognized the name, 'That girl I saw on the news a little while ago...' She thought, her mouth seeming to slip open by the second until she realized this and immediately closed it as Hayato pulled up the next picture.

"Kamichi Rie, 21. Killed by a knife through the neck. Found hanging in a church ceiling. Eyes were gone and found in trachea. Hiroko Sato was killed at the scene."

There was blood everywhere on this picture and Saki frowned. She did look like she had a hint of disgust, but then reminded herself, 'Inspectors have to get used to this. This is my job. Focus, Saki, focus...' She continued saying to herself while another image showed up on the computer's screen.

"Nara Namika, 20. Killed by blunt force trauma. The body was nailed to an ally wall through the biceps and positioned to look like an Eygption pose...at least some what. Killer is currently in the mental health ward..."

"This is what this man considers art...?" Saki muttered to herself, now displaying the amount of hatred and revulsion on her face, which was often smiling. She said no more as she looked at the picture and said, now a bit louder, "This man must be sick." In some way, she didn't think that the killed should have been kept alive if he did something as horrible as that, but she decided not to voice her opinions on that, even though her face clearly displayed it.

"Last victim. Rikana Kyoko, 17. Body was cut open and organs taken out. Body's limbs were cut off, post-mortim. The missing parts were found in a bucket near the body."

"An unpleasant sight." Saki said, diverting her eyes away from the computer for a spare moment. She did hold to her word, saying that she wouldn't freak out or scream, but she was most definitely a bit afraid of this. Was she going to have to see more things like this, with her own eyes? She knew she would, but didn't want to think of it, for now.

"He's the link to the Artist right now." Hayato said before pulling up a picture, this time of a man, "I just received a message the other inspectors that they'll go ahead to capture him, since we got a hit on his face sometime last night. That's the case so far. He's currently at a motel on the east side of Tokyo. If we're lucky, he's still there."

"I'm assuming that's good, now that we have a lead." Saki said, looking at the man's picture on the computer, "I know it won't be easy to find the mastermind behind all these horrid murders, but he has to be caught. Someone can't get away with these kinds of things. A-As a new inspector from this day on, I hope you'll have me on this case, sir." Sakiko said respectfully with a bow.

"This is what this man considers art...?" Was the mutter he heard in the quiet room while he was going through the pictures, and along with the next comment she made. "This man must be sick." He agreed silently. The Artist was just a sick and disgusting bastard who got a thrill out of defacing dead bodies.

Hayato had honestly thought that he wouldn't have much to do as an Inspector...he was horribly wrong.

This was one of the first major cases they had ever since this system was established. The system was able to detect the murderous intent, and usually the Inspectors were able to stop it before it happens. This case wasn't like that, much to his dislike. He was begining to despise this person, whoever they were.

"I'm assuming that's good, now that we have a lead." Came the other inspector's voice, as it broke his train of thought. He blinked and looked at her, giving a nod in response. Well, for how long? It was roughly almost five hours since the video was taken. It was possible to run away in that time frame, or make a kill.

What if all they found was another dead body? A frown set on his lips, as he thought about it, almost forgetting the woman was in the room, until she spoke again, but he saw the last part of her words were important.

"I know it won't be easy to find the mastermind behind all these horrid murders, but he has to be caught. Someone can't get away with these kinds of things. A-As a new inspector from this day on, I hope you'll have me on this case, sir."

He blinked in surprise. The old saying "Looks can be deceiving" seems to be true in the case such as her. He had half expected her to ask to be taken off, not join this screwed up case. Hayato sighed, before running a hand through his hair-an old habit he had gotten from dear old dad. When he was a child, he'd watch his father do that and he copied it. Pushing it back, before letting it go again as his hand fell back to his side.

"Well...your assigned to my team, so you'll have no choice but to get involved with this..." he trailed off slightly, before sighing once again. "Though, just tell me if you off from this case...This could drive a new Inspector over the edge." The last thing he wanted to do, was to cause another Inspector to fall to an enforcer level...

If he could prevent that, he would somehow... even if it meant transferring the girl to somewhere else... like maybe the minor cases unit that dealt with burglary or smaller crimes. Nothing like homicide or murder. That would be a better place for her.

A slight frown pulled at the corners of his lips. Would that certain person be alright if she never worked for this department? Hayato shook his head slightly to banish the thought. No. There was no point in going their right now. Clicking a few buttons, the case file was back to normal in the four columns. The silver head inspector looked at the girl and spoke.

"We'll be watching the cameras in case he tries to escape." He said, and soon real-time video feed were all over the wall. "If you see Geruna on any camera, call the other Inspectors. You have your communication bracelet, right?" The academy hopefully taught her how to use that. If not...he was gonna have to say a few words with the instructors...

And hell, they won't be polite.
