The scene was quickly chaotic as smoke covered the deck of the ship. It certainly seemed their attackers had come prepared, this didn't appear to be a normal raid at all. Despite the smoke, Sulley could still make out figures with his mechanical eyes and saw bodies begin dropping almost immediately during the start of the fight. He made his way as quickly as he could to a few fallen sailors but all those he reached were dead before they hit the deck. Their enemies were trained to kill, that much was obvious. As he looked up from a body, he saw a figure make their way down below deck through the smokey haze. All sailors would be reporting up top to defend the ship so this fellow must be up to no good, was the conclusion he quickly came to as he shuffled up and pursued down below in the depths of the ship.

Goodness, this man certainly is much faster than I am, Sculley thought to himself although that wasn't truly saying much. Bumping his shoulders on narrow passageways he finally caught up to the man and drew his attention by raising his voice. Hopefully that Sierus was right and he was an intimidating sight, perhaps that would be enough and he wouldn't have to involve himself in the fight personally? "Sir! I do not believe you're authorized to be down here. Desist at once before I am forced to take action!"

"...The Barber will see you now!" Came a shout from just past the smoke. The man he had challenged before seemed to be alone now. Where had Angel gone though? He tried to focus on the battle before him. Having used up the last of his throwing knives there was no choice but to attack the man with his sword. Using the cover from the smoke Edwin tried to change his angle of attack before he revealed himself. Approaching from the man's right side Edwin stepped out of the smoke and ran as fast as he could at his target. His sword held out before him ready to tear into it's prey.

Nowah watched in amazement as the man willingly embedded a knife into his arm. Her eyes widening in shock.

"Holy shit Edwin wasn't kidding. This guy's crazy." Nowah thought. Upon further inspection she noticed the blade was free of blood." So, it missed him then? Dammit. I really don't think I can let my guard down around this guy." With each step the man took towards her Nowah began to tense up, her body begging for a command as she waited for him to make the first move. Finally the orange haired an came rushing towards her. Quickly her mind went to work on a way to counter she focused on the angle he approached her from, the way he held the sword, the look in his eyes. Quickly and suddenly she reacted shifting her weight for her counter attack hopeful she had figured out her opponents intention.

As he charged in Nowah moved forward closing the distance between her and the man right before he delivered his attack. As the man came in with what seemed like a kick Nowah stepped to his left side and dove rolling past, although he was faster than she expected and the edge of his blade glanced the skin on her right thigh. She stood from her roll quickly and turned to face the man, while his back was turned she rushed him her blade ready to swing at his side hopeful that the man's missing limb would guarantee a weak point.

"Take this!"

Liam had finally decided to help Keet's with the explosives. Then suddenly a shot flew past him tearing the fabric on his hood. Liam turned slowly to face his aggressor, a young and frail looking Halfblood holding a small laser knife in her hands. He stood there for a moment contemplating the situation. He refused to kill women, and he also detested having to harm them. He though about simply walking away, the young girl was clearly not a threat to him

"Get the hell off of this ship before I gut you and leave you for the cloud-stalkers."

"I have no desire to fight you, but since you threaten to kill me I will have to defend myself." He spoke sternly, remaining ever stoic as he stared at the girl through his scarred mask. He walked slowly towards her, pulling a small rod from his person. He stopped a few meter's from her and pushed a button on the metal cylinder, a small crackling noise could be heard. It' was a stun baton, charged with plenty of electricity, non lethal, but it seemed like enough to pacify his target. Liam lunged at Angel. The rod held directly in front of him as he thrust the baton in Angel's direction.

Keets made his way to the engine room where he quickly began to work on setting up the explosive charges. The blast would be big enough to disable the motors leaving them stranded in the cloudsea. Edwin had somehow managed to convince him not to just blow up the ship. Keets thought it was a bad idea, if they wanted to get rid of the Daedalus why not just destroy it. Simply stranding them would only serve as a delay in time the ship would be back out on the skies getting in their way again. He grumbled to himself as he set the last explosive, the last thing he needed now was to set the timers and then get the hell out of there.

"Sir! I do not believe you're authorized to be down here. Desist at once before I am forced to take action!"

Keets jumped up surprise, at the sudden remark. He turned and jumped again once he saw who was behind the voice. The robot before him looked pretty strong. Strong enough to make him think twice before attacking him.

"Actually, I was just leaving, now if you could step out of the way for me I'd be more than happy to get out of your way." He said while he tinkered with one of the explosives. Attempting to set the bombs to a remote detonation instead of a timer.

Sierus was fairly surprised. The girl was fast; nimble minded as well. She'd escaped his attack with a leg gash, which was more than had been inflicted on himself. So far anyway. He hoped the thigh wound would at least slow the girl down; if not... he'd get over it. She had been rather skillful on her dodge. And in fact, it put her in perfect position to counter attack the pirate. She'd lunge out, trying to slice him in his armless side. However, this was a tactic Sierus was VERY used to by now. His arm was viewed as a weakness. A flaw in his fighting. But as was his nature, Sierus had addapted to this method. Granted, this attack was fairly different than what he'd normally face from the brute of other pirates. But he'd deal with it all the same.

He was charged from the side, woman trying to rake his side, and indeed would come dangerously close. Sierus from his forward lean would tuck into his own forward roll, stopping himself with the knuckle of his sword. He too would jolt to a stand, turning on his heels, and facing the woman from the side, his sword pointed at her. His face was coated with a smarmy smile, just a sarcastic kind of smirk. "Deary me, Fellow... you are indeed quick..." The one-eyed man said, reversing his stance a tad, to where his arm-lacking side was now in front. Almost as if baiting her to attack him there. "Clever too... now, let me ask you something! Is my missing arm a strength? Or a weakness? Or maybe a strength hidden as a weakness? Or a weakness hidden as a strength hidden by a weakness?" He asked, before letting a loud rolling cackle. "Heeahaahahaaaaa! You'll never know, poor girl. Unless you take the bait to my trap that's not a trap that's a trap by a madman's strength hidden as a weakness! Wheeehahaheehahaehahaehahaahaeee!" He cackled yet again, marching towards his foe.... lacking arm-side's sleeve blowing in the wind.

However, all this mad-talk and talk of his arm was a distraction, if she had a clear mind... which he hoped she didn't, as he'd open up her mind to thinking about his arm...and weaknesses and traps. He held his sword arm away for a reason. Behind his fluttering jacket, he had turned his grip upside down, now holding the weapon like a long dagger. And finally, as he encroached the woman, he stepped into his forceful attack again, bringing his weapon up. The blade drug the floor of the ship, as it was brought up in a slightly diagonal curve. As if he was trying to split her in two. Oooooh... he hoped she tried to block. Or dodge. This was a mistake made by all fighters unfamiliar with Sierus's fighting style.... When she blocked, he'd simply jab the sword forward with a simple motion of extending his arm. It was lined up with her body anyhow... Or if she dodged... his fun would resume as something much more enjoyable and comedic for him...

Standing in a clearing of smoke, Gregson awaited his foe. He could hear battles raging elsewhere: obviously Sirius and Angel had found other targets. But around him, it was quiet... and Gregson didn't like it. Gregson snapped close his straight razor and placed it back in it's rightful place. His sword lay at the ground at his feet. Using his left foot, Gregson placed the blade on his foot and flung it into his outstretched hand. No sooner had he done this when he heard footsteps off to his right.

Gregson spun around just in time to deflect the blade of his charging attacker. The man had come at him in a full run, sword extended as if it were a lance. If the blade had hit him, it would have run Gregson clean through. Gregson jumped backwards, giving his sword a little flourish. The man standing in front of him was the male Red Cloth, the one who's knife had nearly struck him. Gregson smiled a little. Now he would be able to put his sword through it's paces.

Angel scowled, taking on a fighting stance. Didn't want to fight her, huh? He really should have thought of that before he and his mates had attacked the Daedalus and started slaughtering half of the crew. What did he expect her to do, stand by and watch? Been there, done that, worked out crappily for all involved. She wasn't about to make the same mistake again. "Wouldn't have it any other, mate," she replied with feigned pleasantness, looking forward to kicking this guy's ass. The lookout had been waiting far too long for an opportunity like this, and she wasn't about to pass it up.

Unfortunately, it seemed that the fact that her opponent hadn't wanted to kill her wouldn't prevent him from fighting back. The Half-Blood even got a little nervous as he started moving toward her dauntingly, activating his own weapon. The electricity coursing through the baton wouldn't be nearly enough to kill her, but it'd hurt like hell and probably knock her out for a few hours. Of course, that was only if he managed to touch her with it, and she was determined not to let that happen. Anticipating his first blow, she managed to dodge the sparking tip of the rod just before it hit her, though she could still feel the static in the air from being so close. Recovering from the close call, Angel return the attack with one of her own, slashing her blade in the general direction of the man's arm. He wouldn't have much luck fighting her if he couldn't hold his weapon. But that only helped if she could land a good blow on him.

Sculley cocked his head towards the man as it seemed him simply asking for the man to cease his actions had actually worked. Well, what do you know you can work most things out by talking! Quite happy with himself he began to move out of the way until he caught a glimpse around the man and his tinkerings with wires. Oh dear, whatever he was doing was most certainly not in the best interest of the entire ship. Snaking his hand out quickly he went to grab the man's wrist and hold it in an iron, ha, grip and give it a tight squeeze. "Sir, I told you to desist. I'm afraid you have pushed my hand." If he had been quick enough to snag the man he would attempt to pull him back and hold him tightly against his chest to restrain him until justice could be dealt. After all he saw no point in killing an individual if other options were open.

Nowah was surprised by how well the man had defended against her attack. She had a feeling this man would be more trouble than she might have originally expected. The man was unusual at best, his strange manner of speaking and that wicked laughter, sent chills up her spine. She glared at the man as her rambled on about some strange nonsense. If he was trying to distract her it wouldn't work. Strangely enough Nowah found herself lacking interest in the words of a mad man.

"Whatever crap you're spewing from your mouth save it for some one who cares." She shouted about as the man came in for another attack, this time she hoped to counter his attack and then strike with one of her own. She charged in as well, her blade ready to strike at the mans throat. As she charged in she held her sword ready to swat away the man's blade. She miscalculated though, and as she lifted her blade to guard against the blow, she noticed a shift in his sword grip. Barely adjusting her block in time the blade came straight for her shoulder, leaving a wide gash causing her to shout in pain. She threw a blind kick before leaping back away from her foe. She fell to one knee and dropped her blade, her whole arm weakened by the fresh wound. She pulled her hand away to get a good look, it was a pretty bad cut and if she didn't patch it up soon she would be in trouble.

"You sure know how to fight old man. Unfortunately I think it's time to stop playing. It's time someone showed you the power of the red cloth." She spoke as she slowly retreated, putting a little more distance between them both. She closed her eyes and held up her left arm, pointing her gauntlet straight into the sky. The strange stone began to shimmer in a smoky glow.

After his attack missed Liam turned quickly hoping to react quicker than the girl and launch another attack. The girls knife cut into his side. It seemed like she had intended to hit his arm. The wound stung but it was nothing too severe. He took a few steps back and waited for a moment. He turned to see the way into the rest of the ship was now close by. This attack was taking too long, Keets should have finished setting up the explosives by now, something must have been holding him up. Liam glanced over his shoulder and contemplated whether or not to help out him comrade. He turned once again to the girl. Slowly he took a step backwards, away from the halfblood, ready to sprint for the door and aid his teammate.

The robot had quite a remarkable hold on his wrist and although Keets tried to pull himself free it's grip proved too strong. He was foolish to have let himself get caught. The robot then pulled him closer and wrapped it's arms around him. Keets struggled against the mechanisms powerful hold but to no avail.

"Alright, alright you caught me. I'm sorry I tried to blow up your ship, let me go, and I might join you!" Keets spoke sarcastically with the machine. Robot's often misunderstood sarcasm, he hoped that by some stoke of luck the robot would willingly release it's hold.

Edwin heard Nowah shout in pain. The smoke had cleared up almost entirely, Edwin looked over to see Nowah had been wounded, her black armor had become coated in blood which shimmered under the moonlight. It seemed like she needed help, Edwin focused back on his opponent.

"I don't have time to play around. Let's finish this." Edwin shouted before lunging at the man with a flurry of sword strikes. He continued his barrage with reckless abandon, with each swing he charged the power supply for his gunblade. Once it was fully charged he would deliver the final blow.

The man came at Gregson with a barrage of blows, lashing out as fast as he could. Gregson deflected the man's strikes with his own blade. The man was skilled, Gregson gave him that. But the boy obviously had not had as much experience at swordplay as Gregson. After the strikes kept coming, Gregson began to realize something. The man was swinging his sword purely for the strikes, he wasn't even trying to strike Gregson anymore. He has something up his sleeve. Very well, I will have to use one of my tricks as well.

One thing Gregson loved about his sword is how it only required one hand to use, leaving the other open. With is free hand, Gregson pulled out his dagger. This dagger was different than most: It had a pistol built into the blade. The gun was not not very noticeable, and that was just fine for Gregson. Now using his dagger as well as his sword, Gregson began to go on the offensive. The dagger was a foot and a half of high quality steel, the blade razor sharp. Gregson's attacker began to show strain, having to defend against two blades was obviously something he wasn't used to. I am going to wear him down a bit, and when he tries to use his little trick, I am going plug a bullet in his gut and bury my knife in his chest. Gregson smiled at the thought and began to attack with increased vigor. Gregson was all smiles at the moment: he loved a good fight.

Meanwhile...
Victoria sighed realizing that the crew of the Daedalus weren't even bothering to try and rescue her.Oh well,at least she was getting better at piloting. She was still worried about the current fight when a pale lavender colored objected appeared out of the corner of her eye.On closer inspection she saw it was a jewel, rather large for its size, with gold and silver rings encrusted with strange runes she never saw before attached.About time my luck turned around! I'm keeping this for my trouble and either hawking it or keeping it around, after all I've never seen anything like that before. Oil rushed to her cheeks when she realized what a bad idea that was, considering these were probably the worst people in the known universe to steal/claim what should be hers after all she had been through/"borrow until someone notices it's missing. As the blushing stopped, she wondered what she should do and for the meanwhile played with it.

Victoria noticed a light come out of it and put the ship on autopilot.

The jewel was projecting an image of a man holding a child and as soon as it finished it repeated itself. There was something odd about the image besides being a hologram. She touched the gold ring and the image increased in size,as she focused harder on the image.Vicky had seen the girls face before but where? She attempted to narrow down the options,it couldn't have been in her hometown and it didn't look like any of the women on the Daedalus,so it must have been a member of the Red Cloth. Her eyes widened, that was it! Nowah? She scrolled her finger across the ring until she could realized she was right.

Vicky wanted to watch it again with it not zoomed in,If the gold makes it bigger than the silver... The robotic girl was able to make out the man now,but what was wrong with his head.On closer inspection it appeared he had a hat on towards the end.As it went on,she saw that he had the same horns as the goats and rams had back in the farm town.

The man's plea to be let go in return for his surrender thoroughly surprised Sulley. It seemed he might even want to join the Daedalus crew, an exciting but suspicious thing indeed. He had enough experience with pirates and other unsurly beings to know that about half the time most of what they promised was actually a lie, a concept he had truly been confused by when he first began life as he never saw a point in telling an un-truth. This was an enemy and perhaps he was truthful but perhaps not. So, loosening his grip marginally his gears turned as he considered this. "Very well but I believe you should discuss this with the captain first. I shall take you to him and release you on his orders. I also will suggest that you do not attempt any sort of trickery because I will then be pressed to use force which might regretfully end in the snapping of your spinal column as you are already in my grip, terribly sorry for the inconvenience sir." The tender hearted robot didn't want such a thing to happen but it was a risk as the man's back and other important internal parts were at his mercy in his tight grip.

After his eery warning he then turned and began clanking down the hall, keeping his captive tight, but not too tight against his chest. The sight almost made it look like when a child was clasping an animal too big for them to truly hold properly and ended in the pet half danging in their grasp. As he continued, his footsteps became quicker as they drew closer to the deck and the sounds of battle became more prominent. Oh dear, how could he have almost forgotten that his companions were locked in battle up top! It wasn't as though he would be much help in the fight since he had to keep his captive restrained but if someone had passed away from injuries due to his absence then he would never forgive himself. Quickly he emerged on deck and let his eyes dart about to take in the multiple fights going on, neither side seemed to be winning or losing at the moment although one enemy female had quite an interesting glowing object with her at the moment. "Oh dear." He quietly muttered at the sight, this couldn't be good at all.

The half-elf blinked in surprise as crimson blossomed on the fabric of her opponent's shirt, though not necessarily where she'd intended it. Still, she wasn't in any position to question her luck at this point, and quickly recovered, readying herself to give another slash. This one missed its mark (whatever that was; she'd just been aiming for flesh at this point), however, as the Red Cloth, dodged the blow and made a run for the door leading below deck. "What the--hey!" Luckily for her, he didn't make it far before his path was blocked off by a large robot coming up the same way, probably one of the new crewmen. And as an added bonus, it was carrying another Red Cloth in a firm grip, clearly unwilling to let him run off. So that made four intruders in all. Was that really all they'd brought? Four people wasn't enough to capture a ship. Then again, they'd done pretty well with that endeavor when they'd boarded and slaughtered half the crew. Well, now they didn't have the element of surprise, which would make things much more difficult for the small band of terrorists.

Smirking, Angel spun her blade in her hand as she stepped toward her opponent. "Sure hope you weren't planning on running off that way," she quipped, pointing the knife at the doorway that was still blocked by the figure of metal and clockwork. "So, where were we again? Me kicking your ass and throwing you off the ship, right?"

The glowing gem on Nowah's gauntlet began emanating a small hum. Sparks of lightning began running down her arm.

"Behold, the power of god." Nowah pointed her arm in Sierus's direction. "Impavis!" She shouted at the top of her lungs. Just then all of the runes that were carved into the gauntlet lit up in a flash of purple light. From her palm erupted a large bolt of lightning that shot just barely above Sierus and struck the ship;wood flew in every direction as the lighting lit ablaze the surface of the boat. The Daedalus shook violently, causing many of the fighters to lose balance. Nowah looked up to see Keets had been dragged out of the ship by a large robot. Had he failed with setting up the explosives?

/hr
Edwin's attacks were well met by the barber, his ability to counter probably came from years of experience; although Edwin had the skills to sword fight he lacked a lot of real world experience. Gunbead made a sharp clicking sound meaning the firing mechanism was ready. With a final swing Edwin stepped back just far enough to transform his sword into a gun. As he lifted the gun up towards his foe he noticed the man had anticipated his attack. Before either one could pull the trigger the ship was shaken by a large explosion. His aim went high and he missed his target by a mile. Edwin fell to the ground and looked up to see Nowah's arm was enveloped by electricity. Was this what Harris had warned him about, is this the thing he was supposed to see?

The damn robot had not seen past his lie, but he did not react the way he expected. The robot carried him up through the ship and up towards the deck, at least if he set off the explosions he wouldn't be taken out by the blast. Keets struggled against the robot's grip but it was no use, the machine was too strong. As the reached the open deck a sudden strong turbulence shook the ship, unfortunately the machine had not let go. Keets looked up to see Nowah had used her gauntlet, so perhaps it was time for him to do so as well. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breth, he caused the red stone in his gauntlet to begin glowing just as Nowah's did. Turning his palm to face the robot he shouted.

"Kahirger!" he yelled, his palm sending out a huge burst of fire that separated the robot from Keets. Both of them flew back away from each other. The Red cloth agent began standing up slowly. His body aching from the recent shock.

The fireworks began before Liam even had a chance to run after Keets. In fact it seemed like that idiot found his way back to the deck on his own. That blasted fool, he got lucky way too often.

"Keets blow the charges! I'm calling the ship down." Liam pulled a flare gun from his sash. He aimed it up towards the sky and fired, sending a bright green fireball shooting straight for the stars. "That robot girl better bring the boat down soon."

Keets held the detonation trigger in his hands, the robot had stopped him before he finished connecting the final bomb. Hopefully the other charges would be enough to disable the ship. He pressed the button, activating the explosives and shaking the ship once again. Smoke began rising from within the ship. Just then Keets looked up to see the green flare shooting up into the sky.

"Time to leave!"

Just as Gregson fired his weapon at his opponent, a large explosion rocked the ship. Gregson's shot just missed the Red Cloth member, punching a hole in the loose cloth of the man's hood. Gregson readied to take on his attacker again, only to see him staring at one of the other attackers. The attacker's arm was ingulfed by electricity. Gregson's mouth was slightly agape. He had completely forgotten about his oppenent, and his oppenent had forgotten about him. Then, only a few seconds after the first explosion, another went off. This explosion was twice the magintude, shaking the ship and sending billowing clouds of smoke and debris into the air. Gregson was thrown into the air, landing against the side railing on the ship. He knocked his head against the rail and everything went dark.

Gregson came to just in time to see the Red Cloth attackers retreating onto their ships. By the time Gregson got back up,
It was too late. The attackers were gone, safely stowed away on their ship.

Earlier-

Victoria had decided to hide the crystal and probably give it to Nowah later, after all it wasn't stealing unless someone noticed it was missing, right? Putting the ship on autopilot, she searched her rather filthy dress for a place to put it,it wouldn't fit in her pockets and there was no other room except... No,the boots were way too muddying to be used to contain anything, besides how could she walk with a large crystal in her shoe. She looked at her options and sighed,it was the only way.She tied a string around the rings and tied it to part of her leg covered by her boot and then noticed something wrapped up on the floor.
She picked it up and unraveled a worn piece of paper with barely legible text,The kind wilt faw?.It took her a little while,"Their kings will fall, and we shall rise in their place, unseen, unnoticed, we will become them",okay know I really don't get what's going on. The young robotic woman then noticed that part of it of it looked like a map with names of cities crossed out, cites that she had heard were attacked.Dareson,a town in the North Wind that had been destroyed three years ago,Fea was turned burned to ashes seven mouths ago and the newest name crossed out was Tirwelld, her last adventure. The gynoid decided she would keep this to herself and put it into the slot of her arm.She looked up to see bright streaks appear over the horizon.

Now-

Victoria had rushed out of the ship stealthily and speedily, hoping she would not gain any unwanted attention in the chaos of the moment. She had to warn the crew of the Daedalus, she wasn't sure if afterwards she'd try to return to the ship in order not to get blown up or with the crew and hope they could deactivate the bomb or whether it would blow up and everybody including her would die.The young woman shook off the thought, this had to work out.She saw a young white haired half-elf."You should probably get everyone to the engine room because the Red Cloth put a bomb there,I know because I'm one of their prisoners."

Angel should have learned by now: whenever things seemed to be looking up for the crew of the Daedalus, that was when all hell broke loose. And this was no exception to that rule. She had just begun launching herself forward for the next attack when a blast of energy sent her tumbling to the deck, head spinning slightly. 'What the devil...?' Shaking her head, she sat up in time to see the Red Cloth she'd been fighting shoot a burst of flames from his palm, forcing the robot to release his comrade. No, wait a moment...he was holding some kind of crystal, one unlike anything she'd ever seen before. Back in her live of leisure, her adopted family had possessed all manner of jewels and gemstones, but this was obviously different, design for function rather than fashion. What kind of otherworldly magic was this? Did the Red Cloth have other weapons like this? If so, it was going to take a lot more than a few mercenaries and a ship with some admittedly unique features to take down this group before they caused more damage.

No sooner had the lookout scrambled to her feet than she realized their attackers were beating a hasty retreat back to their own vessel. Where were they going in such a hurry? They clearly had the upper hand at the moment, thanks to their fancy crystals. Why choose now of all times to leave? She supposed she should be happy that they were gone, but something felt off about this whole thing. She found out soon enough just what that was as she turned to find an unfamiliar face behind her, jumping back and holding up her knife in defense against what could potentially be a new enemy. As it turned out, though, her fears were in vain. The other girl claimed to be a prisoner, and her outfit and lack of weapons seemed to confirm that. Besides which, she looked somewhat familiar. Where had Angel seen that face before....?

That mystery would have to wait, as the news the escapee brought with her was anything but comforting. "Whoa, wait a second, did you just say 'bomb'!?"
As if to answer that question, the deck beneath their feet gave a treacherous lurch while everyone standing on it struggled to keep their footing. The Half-Blood's face paled as she saw the smoke up from below deck. "Oh, shit!" Completely forgetting about the other girl, Angel raced to the door and flew down the flight of stairs, ignoring the heat and smoke as she fought her way toward the engine room. What she saw when she got there was not a pretty picture, especially not for an airship in the middle of open sky. Half of the steam tanks had burst apart, and were now little more than scraps of metal and shrieking pipes. And from the looks of it, the damage wasn't over yet. Brown eyes widened as she heard frantic beeping, more likely than not a bomb than had yet to go off. Slamming the door to the engine room only did so much to dull the blast, and Angel was flung backward down the hallway by the sheer force of it. Ears ringing and panic rising in her chest, the girl quickly climbed to her feet and hurried back to the stares, yelling up to whoever was left in the crew. "Somebody get down here!! The engines are fried, we're probably minutes away from dropping out of the sky!"

Sierus wasn't very impressed. In fact, he anticipated what this girl would do. He wasn't exactly leaving her in the dust, or shredding her to ribbons like other men he'd face, but it was clear through her actions that he did have her on the ropes and the battle was pushing in his favor, despite her jeers of calling him old... Which Sierus really didn't care. He really didn't show much age, despite being almost middle-aged, and he figured his body and even face were in miraculous shape despite all it'd been through. He was lucky he wasn't a crippled wad of man sponging off their loved ones.

No, no. Such terrible thoughts; to be a burden on his loved ones. He'd end his own life before that happened.

Back to turning this little red-coat into a fillet.

The one-armed man gripped his sword tighter as he came back into reality, and the little wench was doing something. Something he didn't like the looks over. That gauntlet had bad news written all over it, but he wasn't sure what it did. His boiling anger was a pretty good hamper to his trying to find out. He gave his sword a few swings, still grinning.
"Come now, little girl! You think your fashion statement is going to..."

The woman launched a huge arc of lightning from her palm, sending the bolt over his head just barely, and sailed right into the ship, sending a massive explosion of chunks of timber. Not only did Sierus's head twist to follow the bolt, his already messy hair stood vertical, as if gelled up. His head slowly rotated back around. "Save...." He said quietly, as his head was back facing towards her, his hair looking as if someone had tried to turn him into a spear. "...You." His voice was murmured. And if she had noticed, his rather furious expression was erased. Erased with one completely blank. Deviod of emotions. Looking straight ahead; not even at her, but in her general direction.

He would stand still for a second.... Before slowly. Calmly. Gently... lowering his sword to the ground, dropping it when it was but a few inches from the ground, filling the air with gentle tinging sounds. He stood crouched for a second. As if he was gathering himsef. Staring straight forward the entire time, hair a frizzy mess. It was slowly settling into a more poofy version of what it had been before. He casually role. "Welp. When shit hits the ship like a cannon.. thaaaaat's when I call it quits." He said, trembling lightly. He turned half circle on his heels, and lifted his left leg, looking to start walking away. Of course... looking like he WAS going to walk away.

As his left leg was lifted, his hand rapidly shot down to his boot, wretching his piper's knife from his ankle, and whipping around at the waist. He flung the knife hard at his foe, whom was hopefully not expecting such a rapid, surprise attack. Granted, he was a little shaken from having a lightning bolt sail past his head... but he threw to the best of his ability. But it didn't really matter... because as soon as he threw the little knife, he moved as fast as his little startled legs could - as fast as he could possibly move in a dead charge towards the girl.... He seemed to be wanting to ram her, but as he charged, he aimed her just to the left of him... She hopefully had forgotten about the little gift she'd given him, and he was going to use it to the fullest extent that he could. He was trying to clothesline her with that sharp point gouging her. He'd give it all he had; trying to hit her. But he didn't know how fast the girl could react...
