Introduction
Suddenly, you feel a jolt in your back. Blinking up your eyes slowly, you look around. The scene is unfamiliar. You are on a train, a rickety one at that. In sudden comprehension, you smile. You have simply nodded off and put your face too close to the screen. As you attempt to pull your head back against your chairs headrest you realize it isn't there. Looking around, you can still see the train no matter where you look. The screen can't possibly be everywhere at once. A terrible sick feeling comes into your stomach. What is going on? Another jolt racks the train as it runs over something. Somewhere, in the back of your mind, you panic. How could you feel that? It was just a game!
Looking out the window, you see a dry countryside going by. Occasionally a tree or a few bushes shows itself in the rock landscape, hiding often in a permanently shady spot near a big boulder. Up ahead, a bridge crosses a dry riverbed. As the train goes across a smell of rot fills the air, and the buzzing of flies. Looking down into the riverbed, you see a rotting carcass of a large pair of oxen next to a shattered cart. Then the scene is whipped away as the train continues on. Up ahead, a town is coming into view. About a mile out, a faded green and blue sign declares: Welcome to Shady Oaks! In the back of your mind, you vaguely remember something similar in your game.
The train slows down as it reaches the station, and slides to a surprisingly gentle Holt. Some of the other passengers begin to depart, and you decide it might be for the best. Getting up from your seat, you catch sight of yourself in the reflection of the window. You now look... different. Some of the same features are there, but you look a lot older. Unconsciously, you grab a small bag next to you. You somehow remember that it is you personal bag. Departing the train, you step into a familiar scene... Where have you seen this before?

Rules:
1. Keep your gear to the time period. Swords are permissible, but would you REALLY want to face a Gatling gun with a bowie knife?
2. Only use coarse language in the rp. Keep it clean in OOC.
3. This is a mature rp, but keep the romance short and clean. Anything else goes to Pm's.
4. This is a realistic Western. You rob a bank or kill someone; you're probably going to get gunned down by the law.
5. Put 'Blue Blood' in your sheet somewhere if you read these.
6. Drugs and Alcohol are permissible, but you better act like your using them! You WILL get drunk and high, and it'll take awhile to come down from it.
7. This Rp follows the general rules of physics. You jump from a speeding train, and you will suffer severe bruising at a minimum.
8. No super humans. If you get shot, you might die there and then.
9. Play smart.
10. Be polite and courteous in OOC.
