In the late 1800's, Sophia Divinus gathered several of the world's strongest casters and founded the Hecate Academy for Gifted Students (often called H.A.G.S. for short) to protect and train adolescent Magick users from all across the world. For over a hundred years, the Academy has helped young people of all walks of life become powerful casters with much to contribute to the Magickal world. Despite this, casters and Magickal beings of all sorts are being hunted and slaughtered by the Sons of Eden, a secret society of humans dedicated to eliminate Magick in all it's forms. Magick is dying and now, as some of the last young casters come to Hecate for training, they may face more than mortal dangers.


H.A.G.S. is a large estate, hidden in the vast forests of Goodfellow, Washington. Small streams and ponds can be found all around the school's campus, where many water sprites and even nymphs can be found during the day. The forest surrounding the school is very beautiful and charming, but students are forbidden to enter the woods at night. Many believe this rule is enforced to keep the students safe from some of the nastier faeries that awaken when the sun goes down. Just beyond the forest lies the town of Goodfellow. Goodfellow is a quiet place and not much goes on there. However, it often comes alive on the weekends when the students from Hecate leave the Academy and visit the town's diners and bars. Students are forbidden to leave the boundaries of the town as long as they are studying at Hecate.

The Hecate student body is divided into four covens, each named after a famous Magick user. Students are placed according to their abilities which generally correspond with their personalities. Each coven is led by two teachers whom are in charge of keeping their students in line and making sure they progress as Magick users. The covens are as followed:




















1.Please acknowledge all the site and RPG rules.

2. Being active is key. If you're not active for more than three days without explanation, I'll pm you. If you don't respond within 24 hours, you'll be cut and your character will be killed (or worse).

3. Respect your fellow Rpers. We're all just here to have fun.

4. I would like all ratios kinda even between the covens. We can't all be Circean and we can't call be Merlinites.

5. Please, please, please be original with your characters and try to make them different and diverse. Just because your character is in Circe doesn't mean they have to be a queen bee alpha bitch who's willing to kill everyone. Don't be afraid to break the mold. Make a douche-bag in Merlin or a Laveaun who fits in perfectly. Just BE CREATIVE AND BE INTERESTING.

6. You must reserve your character in the OOC before submitting. No exceptions. You will be given 48 hours to complete your character unless you ask me for an extension.

7. When reserving your character, be sure to write the name of your favorite witch of all time.

8. Don't complain about the faceclaims (I know they aren't the best), but if there's a particular one you want that you don't see, I'll be more than willing to put it up there. :)

9. If you have a suggestion or a question, don't be afraid to post it in the OOC. I'll answer it if I can.

10. I will NOT accept fighting or rudeness in the OOC. It's okay for our characters to be assholes, but not for us to be. If you have a problem with someone take it to PMs.

11. This roleplay will most likely contain some mature themes like violence, swearing, and the sexuals. Viewer discretion is advised.

12. We'll be making a relationship thread before the RP starts to get a grasp on how our character's feel about each other.

13. Try to post at least twice a week. PLEASE. Also, when reserving your character, the second part of the password is “Welcome to H.A.G.S.”

14. I would like literate RPers for this and so, I would like every post to be at least 400 words. I understand that writers block hits sometimes, so I'll be lenient with this rule to an extent. I also expect correct grammar and spelling. Spell-check is your friend.

15. Keep in mind you character's racial background when thinking of abilities. Native American shaman may be able to speak to animals and commune with spirits while a European witch may be able to fly on a broom.

16. I reserve the right to reject any character I want to. I'll explain why I rejected them and I'll be nice about it, but I won't let a character into this roleplay unless they're up to my standards.
