Banzi is more of a "Just five more minutes" type of girl. She's lazy and Olgues will constantly tell her that. It's not like she doesn't do anything ever. She just prefers at least five naps before she does something. If anybody she does not know or trust wakes her up from one of her precious naps, she gets very, very crabby. And note, it is very hard to get on her good side. Even if Olgues had a lover or a friend, she would stick by Olgues side because she simply didn't trust the other party alone with him.
Personality: Olgues is an all around happy guy. He loves to see people smiling and enjoys joking around with anybody including his students. He's quite laid back, which i why most people seem to enjoy him. Especially since it's rare he actually gives things such as homework. In the middle of a conversation, if he were to spot something interesting, he has the habit of going to it. Kinda like a: "Ooh! Shiny! Lets chase it!" Type of thing. He's not an airhead, but is often labeled as one. He gets along with most types of people unless they decide to give him a reason not to. Like for instance. If people start talking smack about his religion and beliefs. They'll get the smack on them. In the form of a terrible or embarrassing sickness caused by one of the concoctions he makes. That only he can heal. Which he will not until he either gets an apology or something of equal or greater value.
In the morning, he is much like his beloved Banzi. Sleepy and grumpy. Until he has had at least four cups of his herbal tea, it's best not to talk or address him. When he's grumpy, he's no longer the happy and bubbly teacher of the school who loves smiles and happiness. More like thunderclouds and tornadoes. After he has had his cups of happiness, that's what he is. It's hard to bring his mood down unless you poke the right buttons and he will always try to find the silver lining. Like how people say that having a giant and vicious cat wandering beside you is a bad thing. Olgues will simply go down to the kitty's face, hug her and say something along the lines of: "But Banzi wouldn't hurt a fly~" while squishing her face cutely.

History: Olgues lives a relatively happy childhood. He grew up with three brother and two sisters, him being the baby of the bunch. His entire family practiced Vodou which is why he knew from a very young age that he could do all of these amazing things as well as his family. His father was strict but loving and he's proud to say that not too many terrible things have happened in his life which is why he's able to stay so happy and carefree. Olgues was actually sought out by the school since he'd made a name of himself selling potions and herbs in a local market for healing the sick in his home town. Now. He gives half of his pay check to his town to make sure that people are still being taken care of. When Olgues was placed into his coven, he was ecstatic! Just as he would have been had he been put in any other coven.
When Olgues first was asked to come to the school, he was excited, but still had a tough choice. He didn't really want to leave his family and everything he knew behind in Haiti. Because of this, he writes as much as possible to his family. And they him. Olgues has ended up becoming great friends with the mail man, simply because he's either sending or receiving so much. In his time at the school, he found out that he had missed one of his sisters be wedded off and the birth of one of his nephews. So it isn't rare to see Olgues, when he's alone, have a sort of melancholy look upon him. Thinking on his family and trying to save enough money to still send them money, pay for things he needs at his current home, and go visit them for a good long while.
Back in Haiti, he had met his best friend. This was the man who actually helped him get into the school in the first place. But the thing is. He wasn't exactly like normal people that Olgues had previously met. He was a fay. A fairy to be more specific. These two knew each other since their teen years. And it actually helped Olgues a lot in the art of potions and healing that he does. Because from this man, he had learned many things about his way of life. Their ways in magik as well. It took awhile yes, but eventually he'd gotten it down. And achievement he is always proud of.
