Jennapher Shae Malfoy (Jenna)'s Story

#, as written by Rae
The day was finally here, the day she would finally go to Hogwarts! Jenna jumped out of her bed and rummaged through her dresser, ugh, the only sad part about today was that, because they were journeying to the muggle kings cross station she had to wear... muggle clothing. She shuddered at the very thought and daintily pulled out a pair of black skinny jeans and a green tank top. At least she would still wear her house colors. She stuck her tongue out at the horrid clothing looking longingly at her emerald green dress robe. She got dressed and decided to pull a think long sleeved black shirt over the top, just in case it was chilly at the platform. Humming to herself she brushed her long silver blonde hair and smiled at her reflection in the mirror. Jenna had no doubt that she would end up in Slytherin house, just like her father had been. Of course she didn't care for the idea of the death eaters, its wasn't her thing. Sure muggles disgusted and slightly frightened her, but that didn't mean they deserved to be tortured, they were humans just like everyone else! She heard her father calling her down to breakfast so she grabbed her black bag, slung it over her shoulders, pulled a sliver beanie on over her hair and ears to keep her head warm and ran downstairs.

The journey to the platform was short, shorter than she expected at least. Her father instructed her to run strait at the barrier between platforms nine and ten and she did so with a thrill running through her whole body. She pushed her school trunks with her and in no time was through the magical barrier and looking at the Scarlett steam engine in front of her and for a moment she lost her breath. It was all she had dreamed it would be and she couldn't wait to get inside it and find a compartment. She gave her father a hug and rushed on board. She quickly found a seat and snuggled up, wondering how soon she would be able to change into her school robes and out of the disgusting muggle clothing. Waiting for the train to be on its way to her new destination. To Hogwarts.

Lisbeth leaned slightly out of the window of her room, feeling the cool morning breeze. She watched the distant hills as golden sunlight rose from behind them, marking the day she had been anxiously awaiting since she had received her Hogwarts' acceptance letter. Her mother, Luna, came into her room and stood behind her for a few moments, marveling at the view. "You've packed everything?" Luna asked, smiling at her daughter. Lisbeth nodded excitedly and pointed to her multicolor trunk. "Good. Put some clothes on so we can make it to the station." Lisbeth smiled back at her mother and shooed her out of the room so she could get dressed. She put on a pair of bright blue tights, high-top pink and brown sneakers, a black and purple stripped skirt, a dark blue long-sleeve shirt, and a pink coat her mother had given to her from her Hogwarts' days. The outfit honestly looked extremely odd, but when she looked in the mirror, she loved the bright colors. She had always loved muggle clothes, but definitely had her own strange way of wearing them. Her mother had always taught her the value of doing things she liked and not caring much about the opinions of people around her and most of the things she did reflected that attitude. Once she was done smiling at herself in the mirror for a bit and quickly running a brush through her hair, she lifted her trunk with all her strength and clomped downstairs.

Rolf, Luna, and Lisbeth traveled to the station together, and the family rushed through the barrier at exactly 10:47. Rolf and Luna offered a few little bits of wisdom and hugged their daughter tightly before sending her to find her place on the train so she wouldn't be late and so they could say a few hellos to their friends who were also sending kids off to school on this day. Lisbeth wandered up and down the train a few times, looking for a compartment with open seats where she could maybe meet some people before she got to school. Finally settling on a compartment with a blonde first year in a long-sleeved black shirt, Jenna Malfoy, she invited herself in and sat across from the girl quietly with a big smile on her face.

Fred packed his clothes. "Father,i need your trick kit " as he smiled. "First year at hogwarts and im already starting to look more and more like my father. "If only ". He pulled out his chocolate frog pack and opened it trying to catch it.
He chewed around on the bits and ate it noticing he had gotten a harry potter card. " I've got six of those " as he was leaving his father walked up to him." Fred, you are just about to leave and since this will be our last moment until Christmas ".His father reached out and gave him his pack of tricks. " You remind me alot of your uncle ". They both left as they got to platform nine and three quarters. "Alright son we are gonna do this together ". As fred smiled they both went through the wall . They
then they walked around as children everywhere were getting on the train saying their goodbye's as Fred looked at his father." What if i can't be sorted into Gryffindor, what if im sorted in slytherin or hufflepuff " he frowned as his father smiled at him." Listen Fred you are a weasley, It's a family House , And if slytherin or ravenclaw Get you well they will be in luck ". Fred smiled as he slowly got on the train." Bye father". Fred put his Things up and fed his owl a treat.
He went into a room with five other kids and sat down smiling at his father. The train started off as Fred placed a smile on his face. He pulled out a small packet called " Boomers Boom ". He opened the packet as a small little firework came out flying everywhere. He whispered maybe i won't get in slytherin ". He looked at everyone and smiled. "Hey im Fred, you may know my dad's store on diagon Alley ". He sat on the end as a woman came by." Want anything from the trolley dears". Fred pulled out two gallons and got a chocolate frog." "Thanks" he sat back down.

A boy stood on the top of a grassy hill, the sun rising behind him. His hand hovering over a holster, fingers twitching. He licked his lips in anticipation. An Elf stood next to him in a black suit with a white tie. He held a whistle in his hands. All was silent and still for several moments. Then, the elf blew the whistle and the boy spun around, drawing his wand with a spin and aimed it at a can. "Flipendo!" The wand emitted a blue light and the can shot into the sky and into the woods below. The elf clapped wildly, yet still holding a dignified posture. "Splendid! Absolutely splendid Antony! You'll be a first rate duelist yet." The elf claimed in an officious tone. Antony smiled and looked down at the elf. "Thanks Isambard. Ever since I received my wand, Ive been practicing every spell I could find like a mad man. I feel like I should have a basic practice of magic before receiving a proper education in it." The boy stated to his best friend. The elf chuckled to himself. "You are so much like your mother, always wanting an edge against the competition." The elf stated as they made their way back to the run down abandoned cottage. Antony and his mother had been staying there as a part of an Auror protection program. The house was actually quite nice but it was charmed to look abandoned.

Anontyu looked down at his little friend disapprovingly. "I just want a better foot hold for the remainder of my academic future, Izzy, not an edge. And I don't see my fellow students as 'competition' as you so indelicately put it." Isambard looked up at Antony with a sly smile. "As you say, Antony. Now you need to hurry up or we'll be late." Antony smiled and nodded and rushed into the house. He threw on khaki slacks with a grey shirt with a blue zip up hoodie. He then raced to his mothers room and banged on the door. "Come one, mum, we're going to be late!" He put his ear to the door but heard no answer. He opened the door. "Mum?" The bed was nicely made and everything about the room was tidy. He walked back downstairs dragging his trunk behind him, where he saw Izzy wearing a sympathetic expression. "She's not here, is she?" Izzy walked over to Antony and held his hand tight. "I am so sorry, Antony. She wanted to be here, but the Auror's still need her help in their investigation." Antony held his head low for a then popped right back up. "Aw, it's alright. I'm not going to let anything get me down today! I'm going to Hogwarts! Come on Izzy, let's go!" Th elf smiled. "Now that's the spirit!" Isambard was a Rail Elf. He served as chief steward on his Grandfathers Railway company on his finest train. His mother freed him when she was pregnant with him. Izzy had helped raise him and was practically a big brother to him.

Antony, trunk in hand, grabbed onto Izzy's hand on top of the hill. Then, a moment later, they were gone. They suddenly reappeared on Platform 9 3/4. Antony fell forward breathing heavily. " get that." Izzy patted him on the pack lovingly. "Come on, let's go." They walked through the station, Antony's eyes bulging. The crimson wonder that was the Hogwarts Express was even more beautiful than he could imagine. Antony handed his trunk to an attendant and it was time to say goodbye. Antony got on his knees and hugged Isambard harder than he ever had. Izzy returned the hug. "I'll miss you and mum. Tell mum to write to me when she can, and I'll do the same. Come visit me some time too, i know you can apparate inside of Hogwarts." Izzy smiled a very warm, knowing smile. "I'll visit when I can. And your mother would write every day if she could. Now, go on. We can't deny the world it's most brilliant wizard any longer. I love you Antony." Antony released the hug and smiled. "I love you too, Izzy. Bye!" With that, Antony jumped inside the train.

He maneuvered past the larger students and tried to find a section with first years in it. He came across a few empty rooms, but wanted social interaction. He then came across two rooms. One with two girls in it, the other with one boy. He couldn't decide which one to go into. So he, started to spin in place with his eyes shut. After a bit he stopped and stumbled in a direction. He looked over and saw it was the girls room. He opened the door and had a very warm smile on. "Hey, you guys don't mind if I sit in with you, right?" He came in and sat down next to the girl with the longer blonde hair. "I'm Antony, Antony Fletcher. It's a pleasure to meet you both."

"HAve fun dear," Ginny hugged her youngest daughter tightly and gave her a warm smile. Harry ruffled her long ginger hair fondly and she gave them both a reluctant smile. Actually, she just wanted to get on to the train. Her two older siblings were already on it but her parents had kept her behind for a few extra words of encouragement that she felt that she didn't need.

"Remember, Alana, that even if you don't get into Gryffendor, we'll still love you." Harry said quietly and she rolled her big green eyes.

"I'm getting into Gryffendor." She said firmly and pulled out of her parent's embraces. It was annoying and embarressing. "Stop worrying."

"Try finding cousin Fred." Ginny said. "He's in his first year too."

"I know that. we've discussed this already." Alana grumbled and boarded the train without another glance back, though she could hear them call their farewells. As soon as she was in, she grinned at the enourmous bustle of people. She was thrilled that she was finally free! To finally be in Hogwarts, where she had heard so many people talking about. Grabbing her bag that contained her sketchbook, mp3 player and a small bag of sickles and galleons, she walked into the compartment a few people that looked her age. Two blondes and a boy. Taking a breath she took a seat across from the blonde and guy, and smiled.

"Hi, I'm Alana Potter. It's nice to meet you"

Screw Cousin Freddy. How the heck was she going to find him in all the compartments?

Fred held out his hand and greeted everyone while the train started to leave. He kept his harry
potter card in his pocket and looked as his father started to leave. He sat next to the Brunette and greeted her
" hey, im fred ".

Lisbeth listened patiently as everyone introduced themselves and took note of every name. Fred, Anthony, Alana, Jinx, Laurie, and Charles. She recognized most of the last names as her parents' classmates, especially Alana's. She didn't feel the need to mention or inquire about any of their parents, knowing that most of them would hear enough about their parents from teachers and other students. When it seemed like the girl who had originally been in the cart wasn't in a hurry to introduce herself, she decided it was her turn to state he name.

"I'm Lisbeth Scamander." She spoke in a soft, happy, and slightly distant voice. "With a compartment this packed, we're bond to become good friends." She smiled dreamily and glanced out the window. The train would leave in a few minutes and her mother and father were still socializing with the Potters, Weasleys, and other old friends. She swung her feet back and worth a bit and turned back to the group. Not having much more to say, she simply tucked her wand behind her ear and examined the other kids with slightly wide eyes for a moment. Once she was done checking out her classmates, she pulled a copy of the Quibbler from her bag and carefully began reading it from the first page. She smiled at an article about her mother and another creature that she had proved to real. She had been told the story at least twenty times over dinner, but loved the way it looked in print. Lisbeth glanced out the window quickly again, feeling a small bit of sadness that she wouldn't be seeing her parents until the next holiday. Luckily, she wouldn't let something like homesickness bring her mood down and her expression didn't change at all as she went back to reading.

"Lisbeth? That's a pretty name," Alana smiled at the pretty blond. "Hey Freddie," She waved cheerfully to her cousin and grinned at the others.
"So who wants to be in what house?" The Potter frowned slightly, making her forehead crease. "You know... I've always been told about Gryffindor.. but I'm not sure I really want to be in that one. Frankly, I don't think that bravery is my best feature though I am pretty brave. I just don't think it's that important. I'll just have to wait and see what the sorting hat puts me in," She grinned again.
"What if I was put in Slytherin?" The red head giggled quietly. "My dad would probably faint."

" I know that's right, if im sorted into slytherin my father would pass out wake up and pass out again ". Fred giggled. " Most slytherins do become great at things but im really into Gryffindor or Ravenclaw". And quidditch i can't wait to be Lead Chaser. Fred got out his wand and Said. " Do you wanna see a spell guys, i know one that can Make a cool efect. "He flicked his wand and said. " Desperi Confetri ". Then a little spark came out and fell in Fred's hand. " Nice right '".

Jenna had been staring dreamily out the widow and in that time the compartment seemed to fill to the brim with other first years. 'What is it some sort of rule that all first years are automatically friends' she thought to herself and listened as everyone went around with their introductions. 'Great, Potters and Weasleys' she sneered inwardly. Jenna had heard all about those two families from her father and all of his stories from Hogwarts. Of course the way her father talked he was king of the school and Jenna knew without a shadow of a doubt that it truly was pure talk. She stood up and brushed her dark skinny jeans trying to stretch in the small and cramped compartment. "My name is Jennapher Malfoy, please call me Jenna, daughter of Draco who I'm sure a couple of you have heard about..." she glanced to the potters girl and the Weasleys, "And I have an older brother already attending school named Scorpio. In Slytherin house of course, where I too will be as is our family tradition or so it seems." She grabbed her small black bag that had her school robes stuffed inside and looked at her lovely seat by the window, "I will return for that seat shortly but if you will excuse me for a brief period of time I am going to change out of these... er... uncomfortable clothes and into my school robes." She did a small turn on her heal, tossed her blonde hair over her shoulder and strode out of the compartment. Once outside she inhaled deeply, some fresh air at last! She had no idea a compartment could fill up that fast. Jenna skipped her way down to the lavatory and quickly changed into more comfortable clothing. She was so glad to be rid of the filthy muggle garb and wished to flush it down the toilet, but she knew she would need the outfit again at some point in time, so she rolled it up and placed it in her bag. She took another deep breath and then made her way back down to the compartment she originally held. She squeezed her way in, almost getting sparked by the boy with his silly little spell, and sat down in her original seat, looking out the window and giving her father one last smile before the train whistle blew and the train started on its way.

Interesting... Alana smiled softly to herself. It was very interesting. Jenna Malfoy hmm? Who died and named you God? But she liked it. But she didn't care. IT was her goal to become friends with her. She was going to do everything she could to do things her own way. But Alana hesitated. Would Jenna be one of those purebloods that hated on the muggle borns? That wouldn't do.. She decided to wait and see. She took out her own wand and examined it. How amazing, Ollivander said the core was from the feather of the same pheonix that her father had. IT disgusted her. No matter what she did, people kept lumping her in with her father.

"Hey guys? Could you save my for me? I have to give my brothers and my sister some money for the trip, Mum just gave me the whole bag by accident." Smiling she manuevered herself out the door, humming a short tune to herself.

Jenna received the Orchard the boy offered and gave him a half smile. It was sweet, kinda. The compartment was so loud and noisy, but everyone seemed to be friendly enough. She tossed her long blonde hair over her shoulder for a third time and tried to situate herself more comfortably in the seat. Everyone seemed to be pulling their wands out now, wasn't it against school rules to use magic outside the Hogwarts grounds? It was a trait she got from her mother. Rules were to be followed to the T. Did that mean that she never disobeyed the rules? Of course not, she was her fathers child after all and disobeyed many rules, but never out in the open where she could so easily get caught. She rolled her eyes at the window wondering where all the authority figures were. Weren't there suppose to be some sort of teachers patrolling the train or something and then she remembered her brother had been named prefect that year and inwardly groaned. He was sure to come to their cart, find her and embarrass her in some way. It seemed to be a trait of elder brothers, embarrassing their younger sisters. No sooner had the thought crossed her mind when the door slid open and Scorpio popped her sleek blonde head inside.

"There you are Jenna, didn't mum and dad tell you to find me once the train got moving?" He sneered at her, looking at the company she kept in a disapproving manner.
"Of course they did Scorpio," she replied hotly "I didn't think that meant the moment the train left the station I would have to leave my seat just to find you, we haven't even been moving for twenty minutes yet and as I heard we wouldn't reach Hogwarts until nightfall." She glared angrily out the window not wanting to look at him.
"Please step outside so I may have a word." Was his only response, his voice cool. "And as for the rest of you, I would put those wands away, we don't want detention before school even starts now do we?"

Jenna stood up, gave an apologizing glace to the compartment and headed outside closing the door behind her. "What do you want Scorpio?" She hissed glaring up at her older brother.
"What do you think you are doing? You should be sitting with your own kind! Not mixing it up with the, riff-Raff." He responded hotly.
"Well excuse me for thinking like a normal person, but they might just turn out to be nice!" She said, raising her voice ever so slightly. "You know what, you are so rude Scorpio! Its not like we are in the times of Voldemort! Death Eaters are all but extinct and there are very few pure-bloods left in the Wizarding world. Dad was lucky to find one in another country! I don't appreciate you speaking to me like I am a child. It seems like I am far more adult than you will ever be."
She turned and placed her hands on the door and just barely heard Scorpio say under his breath "watch yourself sis, there are still some out for muggle blood." The words sent a chill down her spine and she turned to respond but he was already walking away down the corridor. She took a deep breath and opened the door back up.

"I am so sorry everyone for my brothers rudeness, he was raised in a cave." She sat down haughtily and continued. "It's not like he doesn't have a point but I mean really, for all we know we could all end up in the same house!" She wondered just how much they had heard. She figured they must have heard nearly all of the conversation. Jenna crossed her arms and legs and tapped her hands impatiently. This group wasn't so bad. Sure there was the boy with the odd little twitch, and far too many overly friendly first years, but really in this day and age it was better to make a couple of friends than to fall to ruin. Just look what had happened to her father. Did that mean she would stop acting like a queen? Good heavens no, she enjoyed being superior far too much for that. But it did mean that she would make friends with anyone she deemed worthy, not by blood or status, but by what they stood for. She would also prove that Slytherin house wasn't just for the bad wizards as so many who came from it turned out. She had the ambition to get to the top through integrity. One day she would be the minister of magic and show everyone how great Slytherin house really was. She might have to step on a few toes to do it, but it would be done. Yes, Jenna was ambitious and calculating, when the situation called for it she could even be cold and ruthless, but she much preferred to solve problems through civility than back alley mobster dealings.

Jenna, much to her surprise, found herself giggling at the girl with the glasses. Lisbeth, her name was. "No, thank you that's quite alright. I believe they are here, but I would really rather not see them, they give me the crawlies!" She shuddered at the very thought of what could be flying around her ears and subconsciously brushed her hair back. "I am um.... Curious though, are there many around me?" She looked toward the ceiling knowing full well she would not be able to see them with her naked eye. Jenna could be a snob at times, mostly towards the muggle world, but anything that was legitimate magic was just fine by her and since the wrackspurts had been proven real, she had no problem talking about them. It was really the electronics that she didn't understand that bothered her so much. She liked her control, and she had a control over magic which gave her a piece of mind.

Jenna found herself twirling the flower absentmindedly and blushed slightly, although she had no idea why, before placing it in between the pages of a book she had inside of her bag. She was so happy to finally be in her school-clothes that she felt herself relaxing a little. "I just want to apologize to everyone again for my brother, but he is Slytherin, and that is the general attitude. We seem to have quite a mixture of personalities in this cart so I'm sure we will have a very enjoyable journey." The train must have been halfway there by now, it was almost dark out and they were passing through some amazing scenery outside. She figured she might as well take the chance now to make some friends and began asking questions. Such as "Who are your parents? What do they do? Where do you live? Do you have any siblings? What class are you most excited for?" and listening as anyone who would answer, answered them.

((Wrap up your characters train info, we will be moving on shortly to the sorting ceremony. Please wait for me to post the train has stopped and such before you move ahead. Thank you all very much. You have until Wednesday))

Alana listened to Antony answer. Morgan Fletcher?

"Wow, Your mom is Morgan Fletcher?" Alana's eyes bugged out in awe. "That's so cool. I've been to see all of her matches. She's so amazing!"
She couldn't help but feel a wave of envy. His mother was so cool. Then she turned to Jenna,

"I'm Alana but you can call me Aly if it's too long for you," The red head smiled warmly. "My parents are Ginevra Potter and Harry Potter, they're both aurors and so I'm usually home alone with my three older siblings, James, Albus, and Lily. They're all kind of stuck up so.." She wrinkled her nose distastefully. "So it's best to just stay away from them, Cause James is a Prefect for Gryffindor and he'll try to make the first years' lives miserable."

"MY main interest is in Charms and Potions. But there are many topics that interest me like Dueling would be so great, my brother says that its really neat. Plus, Care of Magical Creatures seems fascinating," Alana leaned back in her chair, hoping she didn't sound to eager to be friends.

"Oh trust me, he is all bad." Jenna replied letting out a heavy sigh. The only thing she was not looking forward to about the year was having to deal with her brother. She listened intently as her questions were answered and when the name Artemis Fletcher came up Jenna held back a gasp. She had heard about what had happened from her father, some of his old buddies were still a part of the Death Eaters gang, "I am so sorry." She said softly, unsure weather he would want acknowledgment of any kind or anyone to know for that matter. She quickly smiled and and then said "Nice to meet you Antony and Aly." She sat back for a moment thinking before she answered her own questions. "My father Draco Malfoy works for the ministry and my mother Mei is a stay at home mom. Dad found her while we were traveling around and I am not sure if they ever really fell in love, but she is a pure-blood which pleased my grandparents and they get along well enough. I live in a small town about an hour away from London, wizarding community I guess, and you have already met my brother. I am most interested in would be Potions or Defense against the Dark arts. My dad was always into potions but there is just something about the dark arts that fascinates me.... in a total I never want to death eater kind of way" she added quickly to the end. The train was starting to loose speed which meant they must have been almost there. It was time to cement any last minutes impressions she wanted to leave with the compartment, but how to do that? She looked around at everybody there and hoped that they too would join in on the current conversation so that more friendships could be made. "Don't worry Aly, if it's not your brother I'm sure it will be mine, we should make their lives hell instead, what do you say? Wanna drive our brothers bonkers?" She didn't really care if she formed a friendship with a potter child, she actually kind of reveled in the thought of her brothers face when he found out. "What sort of magical creatures interest you most Aly? Antony, is Isambard a house elf?" She asked uncertainly never hearing the term rail elf before. She smiled at those who she hoped would become her new friends.

"It sounds like you have some really great goals in store for your life." Jenna said smiling at Aly. She felt the train slowing and finally come to a stop. So they were finally at Hogwarts, Jenna smiled happy to be here at last. Of course her brother choose that moment to pop his head into the compartment again.

"Jenna, we have arrived. Grab your things, I will take you where you need to go." Jenna grimaced then smiled. It was time to start making her brothers life hell.
"Thanks Scorpio, but I think I've got it, see I have some new first year friends here and since we all need to go to the same place, if we go together I am sure none of us will get lost. You know Aly Potter right?" She could see the veins in Scorpio's neck tighten and knew she was in for a rather scornful letter from home. But she really didn't care one way or the other and laughed at him as he stiffly walked away. She knew their brothers had taken after their fathers and were enemies from the start. "Sorry about that everyone, do you mind if we all walk together?" Jenna asked pulling her bag across her shoulders and leading her way out of the compartments.

It was dark and slightly wet outside the train, mist was falling through the air and Jenna shivered in her school robes pulling them tight about her. There were so many students that for a minute panic set in and she was lost but then she heard a gruff voice call over the crowd "first years this way." And followed the sound of the voice and lit lantern until all of the first years were gathered in a small group around a large man. Hagrid was still groundskeeper at Hogwarts, and would most likely be there until the day he died. He grinned down at the first years he knew, giving Aly a little wink and then a slightly puzzled expression as he saw her and Jenna standing together. They made there way down to the lake and everyone separated into boats. There were four or five per little vessel and once all the boats had been filled they started moving across the lake. It was really a very beautiful site. Once they reached the other side of the lake they all got out of the boats and followed Hagrid up to the castle where they met one of the teachers in the entry hall. She led them to a small room off the dining hall and asked them to wait patiently. All the students whispered to each other excitedly, Jenna most definitely among them. The teacher came back and led them out into the great hall where all the students were sitting watching them. Jenna grimaced when she saw Scorpio scowling at her choice in company and resisted the urge to stick her tongue out at him. A grubby old hat was placed on top of the stool and everyone stared at it. It started singing a quaint little tune, about forming friendships with dark times looming ahead. Knowing your allies and knowing your enemies, and about all the houses different traits. Then it was silent as the teacher who had led them into the hall unrolled a bit of parchment and said "When I call your name you will come forward for your sorting. The list read as follows:

Jennapher Malfoy
Alana Potter
Lisbeth Scamander
Fred Weasley
Lupi Starsky
Charles E. Connor
Alice Longbottom
Miranda Lestrange
Antony Fletcher
Jinxabell LaVant
Laurissa K. Ryder

Jenna was called first and she stepped out taking a deep breath, it was unnerving having the entire student bodies eyes on her. She sat down on the stool, smiling so as not to let anyone know how terrified she had suddenly become. The thought had just crossed her mind that she may not end up in Slytherin and she really didn't want to face her parents disapproval. The hat dropped onto her head and spoke softly into her ear. "Ah, another Malfoy I see, curious very curious. I remember sorting all your family, they were so easy but you are a difficult one indeed. Slytherin would suit you but also Gryfindor perhaps." Jenna clutched the stool tightly and thought as hard as she could 'Please not Gryfindor, please' and the hat responded with "Ah, I see you are just like someone else I once knew. I are sure you don't want Gryfindor, your life will be so much easier with those who understand you." 'You said Slytherin suited me, that is where I wish to be, I have ambitions and they rely on the help of that house.' Jenna pursed her lips together "I see.." the hat said in her ear and then bellowed out to the great hall "Slytherin!" Jenna jumped up and took the hat off hastily making her way down and sitting at the spare space in the Slytherin table to a course of cheers from her new house. She watched as all her new friends were sorted into their houses of choice and cheered for them each in turn. Scorpio scowled at her the entire time but she just grinned him away clapping happily along with the rest of the student body. The Slytherins all thought her mad. And once the sorting was over the headmaster stood up, said a few words, and then the food magically appeared along the table. Jenna was starving after the long train ride and dug in right away chatting happily with her new house mates.

((Ok guys, you do not have to follow the sorting order, post what you want for your characters from the train to the great hall and then all the sorting information in any order you please. Hopefully everyone is able to write a sorting post soon so we can move on to the beginning of classes. Thank you all ))

Jenna clapped happily for Miranda, a little surprised a Lestrange would be put into Hufflepuff but your family has nothing to do with your house, except in her case of course, her family had everything to do with her house. There was silence from most of the rest of the great hall as Miranda walked to her seat. Jenna held her breath when Alana was called up to the stool, and literally dropped her mouth open in surprise when the hat called out Slytherin. It took her a moment to recover but she did manage to clap a little bit before her new friend sat down. "Wow, Alana, Slytherin.... wow" was all Jenna could say giving the girl an odd look. A Potter in Slytherin, what would her parents say. Jenna thought of her own father and smiled a little, then looked down at her brother and smiled even bigger. He could not figure out what to do, whether to be happy or furious that Slytherin had a Potter. "It might be a little rough for you in this house, but don't worry I will watch your back". The look on her own brothers face was priceless, she wondered how the Potters were holding up and wished she had a better view of the Gryfindor table. Next was Fred, and he was the first Gryfindor called. Jenna clapped politely for him and after Laurissa was called she clapped for the second Gryfindor as well. She waited for the next person to be called wondering if they would get another Slytherin or a first Ravenclaw.
