One day, 100 years ago, an evil witch - mad at the King for killing her son - cursed the Prince, making him never age, never die, unless the King promise never to take the life of another. The King unfortunatly couldn't make such a promise and so Arthur was cursed to live forever, never aging, watching those he loved age and die.

In the small town of Grantville Woods, there is an old palace that has stood empty for almost 100 years. The townspeople say that the palace is haunted, because in the winter smoke comes out of the chimneys. They say that the son of the old King still lives in the palace, and will eat your soul if you go in.

On certain days, if you are there at the right time, you may see a young boy around the age of 18, sitting on the ledge of one of the balconies, looking out at the ocean. If you are close enough you will be able to see the lonely, and sad look in the boy’s eyes.




One night, All Hallows Eve (Halloween), a group of teenagers are playing truth or dare in the field next to the palace. Sitting around the small fire, one of the kid’s notice a light inside the palace, the light gets brighter and the silhouette of a teenager no older than them appears in the window.

The kid points it out and the group of teenagers decide to venture inside the palace, assuming it would be an awesome story to tell the grandkids when they get older – providing that the Prince doesn’t eat their souls first.
