Mark laughed, at the silly ghost story that the girls were telling. "That ghost story is nothing," he said as he leaned in closer to the fire. "Have you guys heard the true ghost story about the good old, abandoned palace over there?" he asked as he pointed a finger over at the empty palace. He looked at the girls intently, waiting for their responses.
Arthur woke up quietly in his bedchamber, rubbing his eyes sleepily as he pushed himself up to a sitting position. He stretched quietly as he stood up on the cold floor of the room and walked over to the wardrobe quietly, fumbling through it in the dark for his suit. Finding his suit, he pulled it out and walked over to the bed, placing it on his bed quietly. He changed quickly, now wearing a simple black suit that fitted his form flatteringly, with a black button-up shirt and a black tie. He pulled on his sleek, black shoes quietly. He moved over to his nightstand, pulling out a small box of matches out of the drawer, and lighting the small candle. He lit the rest of the candles in his room quietly, illuminating it in the soft, wavering glow of the candle-light. He walked over to the window quietly, looking out at the field and ocean.

Mark looked at both of them, laughing at Sammie's remark. "I heard that the 'Prince' murdered his father and became the most evil ruler that the kingdom had. The villagers revolted, slaughtering the 'Prince', and his soul seeks revenge on all who dare to cross his path, and prevent him from being King." Mark smirked, as he looked at the girls. "But that's the story I heard anyways," he said looking up at the palace. "Guys, look there's a light on in the second story and there's someone in there. I'm not kidding," he said, his eyes widening slightly as he pointed to the illuminated window, where the silhouette of Arthur was visible.

Mark smiled and stood up following Zelda. "You can count me in," he said as he stopped when she stopped to look back. He shot a glance back at Sammie, "You coming or are you too chicken?" With his question he gave a small laugh, placing his hands in his pockets.
Arthur noticed the group of teenagers and watched them quietly, noticing two of them stand up and look back at the third. Arthur walked to his door, carrying his small candlestick and walking out into the hallway quietly. He walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to find something to eat. He searched through the cabinets for something quick. Sighing as he found nothing quick to eat, he lit a few more candles, giving the room enough light so that he could cook himself some 'breakfast'.

"Well you know, all the scaring you've done, may have gotten to you, you never know." Mark laughed at her comment, looking over at the palace and noticing the light was now in a different place, "I told you that the ghost was there. Look the light's over there now." He pointed over to the first floor near the end of the palace. "The ghost is getting restless," he said, smirking at his comment. "So Ivan, you up for this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Ivan, waiting for his response.

She loomed back at Mark and laughed a little at his comment. "Oh come off it Mark, it's probably Johnny or someone trying to get us back for.scaring them before." She said with a small laugh. True she didn't like people purposely trying to scare her, but she was guilty of pulling pranks on others and helping Mark out with some of his tricks too. She found it rather fun to do honestly.
She then looked back at Sammie with a smile. "Come on Sammie, let's be the first ones in the castle and prove to these guys that we're not scarred." She said as she began skipping towards the castle, encouraging Sammie to skip with her. She was feeling a little childish and hyper at the moment.

Mark looked over at Zelda, smirking slightly, "Eh I would think that too but Johnny's grounded, so he can't." He stretched slightly and followed Zelda towards the castle. "Anyways, I think that we should go check out the room with the light first, see what we can find. What do you guys say?" he asked as he gave a look to Zelda, Sammie and Ivan.
Arthur finished cooking his 'breakfast' and sat down at the small table, eating his food quietly. He looked around the kitchen quietly, feeling alone for the billionth time that week. He quickly finished his food, placing the dishes in the sink, and picked up his candle, walking out of the room towards the entrance hall. Arthur yawned quietly as he walked down the long hallway to the entrance hall.

"Well then we follow it ditz," Mark said with a smile, chasing after Sammie as he laughed slightly. "Betcha I'll beat you there!" he said as he passed Sammie, smirking. He continued to run towards the palace, looking back every so often to see if Sammie was catching up or falling behind. He stuck his tongue out at Sammie, enticing her to race.

Mark slowed to a stop infront of the palace, standing next to Sammie. "The front door?" he said with a shrug, walking up to the front doors. He reached his hand out and grabbed the handle, turning it and pulling open the door to reveal the large entrance hall. He looked back at the girls and Ivan, "Shall we go?" He pulled out his flashlight, and shined it around the entrance hall as he walked in.
Arthur continued to walk down the hallway quietly, not hearing the front door open. He looked at the paintings that he had memorized over the years, with feigned intrest. He was almost to the entrance hall, when he heard the voices. He stopped quickly and pressed up against the wall, Extinguishing the flame of the small candle, hiding in the dark.

"She's right you guys, and I don't think that there would be a light switch. I mean this palace is almost a hundred years old, no one's lived here since the old king and his son," he said as he headed towards the hallway off of the entrance hall, where Arthur was standing.
Arthur decided to peek his head around the corner of the hallway and into the entrance hall to see if they were leaving yet. As he did so, Mark's flashlight's beam passed over him for a second, when it passed over, it quickly returned, illuminating Arthur's face. He held a hand up to cover his eyes from the bright light quickly.
"Guys, I think I found him," Mark said as he kept the light from the flashlight on Arthur, who was holding his hand infront of his eyes.

Mark steadied Emily and looked at the person in the painting whose eyes had widened slightly. "Emily are you okay?" he asked, keeping his eyes on the person in the painting.
Arthur's eyes widen at the girl's scream. He stood still for a few seconds before jumping away from the frame and running up the stairs quickly, without a word. He seemed to fly up the stairs, disappearing up another flight of stairs, headed to the third floor. He shot a lonely glance at the group of teenagers as he ran up the stairs.

Arthur continued to run up the stairs, reaching the third floor he ran down the hallway, slipping into the library halfway down the hall. He slipped behind one of the many bookshelves, leaning against the wall quietly, catching his breath. He stayed quiet, hoping that the girl wouldn't find him or just run past the door. Why did I run? I always complain that I'm lonely...I'm an idiot, he thought to himself as he ran a hand through his hair quietly.
