Brass

"I dunno why I'm called Brass. I just am. Do what I do; just go with it."

a character in “Haven: Infected”, as played by Vio-Lance

Description

Image

Appearance: Brass is a little particular looking, even for a surface dweller. The fellow stands roughly five and a half feet, very short, and not very broad at all. He perhaps weighs 130. As mentioned, he looks very odd.... And there is almost no feature of his actual body showing. He wears a suit of thick leather, covering him head to toe, complete with gloves. And over this, he wears a white hooded robe, that clearly isn't very white anymore. It's quite dirty and mangy looking, the ragged clothing fluttering down near the hem of his boots. The robe covers the rest of his body completely, so one probably couldn't tell he was armored unless they were very close to him...or touching him. The small body also has a leather vest, and armored tunic-skirt at his hips. He also has a large, thick leather belt hanging on his waist, with a satchel swung over his shoulder usually. But over all of this drab, mysterious, and somewhat intimidating apperal, an innocent looking smiley-face button sits on his chest. A revolver holster is also on his hip, along with a handful of sharp, pieces of metal that have been dulled on one side to make into grips. He also has in his possession a small, Mare's Leg carbine. And finally his face...is just a mystery as his body... as he wears a full gas-mask, which hides his face from anyone, concealing his identity behind the tinted black, beady goggle-eyes.

Position: Surface-Side Survivor, and Weapon repairs.

Nationality: American

Weapons:

Mare's Leg -
The Mare's Leg is essentially an old lever-action winchester 1892 rifle, with shortened stock and barrel, making it easier to use in close combat. The weapon is chaimbered in 45. Colt, and is deadly accurate for a weapon about the size of a small sub-machinegun. The lever action makes the weaon simplistic, and easy to maintain, while the .45 Colt ammuntion is fairly common. The six-round magazine is also respectable for a carbine made for short range.

.357 Revolver -
An unnamed, steel-finish revolver. The weapon has an eight inch barrel, and an expanded cyclinder and framework, allowing it eight shots instead of six. The revolver has a rough name carved into with some sort of tool (probably a knife or such), which dubs the weapon "Karl". "Karl" is very accurate, as it's chaimbered in .357 magnum, and has an extended barrel.

Biography:
Brass is a self-proclamed ' Wasteland Survivalist", doing what he can to get by, and help others get by. It's unknown where he came from, where he gets the things he does, or even if he can be trusted. However, one thing is certain, is that the man is determined to get through this invasion if it's the last thing he does. The survivalist moves around a remote suburb of weary houses, where he has set up a little shelter for him, and whomever stumbles by. He is more than happy to share his supplies with those whom are truly needy, teaching them about the troubled land outside his walls. In truth, he was a Brittish Military Militiaman (Formerly known as an BMM, before the Invasion struck England and her neighboring countries.), and fought valiantly against the infection. However, with most of his fellow MM's MIA, KIA, or Infected, he went back to America, to continue the fight there.

Skills: Survivalism, Close-Quarters Combat, Hand-to-Hand Fighting, Marksmanship.

Other:

Brass speaks with a dirty brittish accent, and at first it's hard to understand what he is saying... especially with his gas-mask muffling his voice, and making it seem hollow.

Brass is very small for a man....

Brass is trained in the martial art they train Brittish SAS Commando's in: Defendu. This art is known throughout the world as one othe most prominent fighting styles in the world, it's only rival being Russian Systema, which literally is the same art, only Russian style. The Fairbairn fighting style is most noted in the game series "Metal Gear Solid 3", which is simply refered to as "CQC". He can fight with superior skill with his hands and legs, a knife, his pistol, or even a rifle.... any weapon he can get a hold of, really. Engaging Brass in a fistfight would be a HUGE mistake.

On the house that his shelter is beneath, there is a large, crudely painted sign that reads, "Brass House".

So begins...
