Marcey Parker

Marcey was surprised as people exited quickly. It seemed that Kylee had somehow shooed everyone away, and she was grateful. Although, something about the way they had acted made her nervous. Not really nervous, I guess just skeptic. She stood up quickly and stared at Kylee. "Should we go back? I just got curious, I am so sorry. Thank you for actually following me. You didn't know what you would find but.. you came anyway." Marcey walked over to her and hugged her. It felt awkward, guilty and appreciative.

"We should probably just go back" she said, letting go and turning away from Kylee. When the fire died, she realized that she couldn't see any lights from the academy. She turned around, assuming it was the wrong way but found herself stumbling over branches that hadn't been broken. "Do you remember the way back?" She said to a stale silence, unaware if Kylee was anywhere close. Where was she? How had she managed into the darkness and found herself alone. They two guys couldn't be that far away, she thought hoping that somehow she would stumble upon any of them.

"Guys??? Is anyone out there?? Hello??"

Kyra Rye Shade

Kyra Rye Shade's flat out sprint slowed to a trot and then into a walk. She finally shifted into her human form, staggering toward a tree, barely able to catch herself from falling into the trunk. She used her forearm to lean on the tree while also using it hold herself up.

"I'm so dang tired." Kyra exhaled, and let out a short laugh, "I hate cats." She smiled to herself, I wonder what the Wolf thought of it. She snorted, Probably thinks I'm defective, or an abomination. Kyra growled remembering a guy and his family that had come to visit. Jaguar Shapeshifters, friends of her Uncle's Wife. The man had seen her shift into her different forms, and had been disgusted with her. He had obviously knew that she was some sort of hybrid, and that her parents must have been of very different species. His visit ended with him yelling and pointing at her, calling her and her brother abominations.

"Guys??? Is anyone out there?? Hello??"

Her thoughts interrupted, Kyra staggered away from the tree and toward the source of the voice. She ended up stumbling upon the girl her brother had been talking to. "They left... and are no longer in the area." She watched the girl closely, smelling the breeze that drifted her way with Marcey's scent. There was a smidgen of death there. "What do you do? I know your power comes or has something to do with death..."

" They left.. and are no longer in the area." Marcey was nervous, knowing she was alone with someone who earliershe had almost fallen on, as an animal. She could tell the girl was watching her, trying to decide what Marcey was. "What do you do? I know your power comes or has something to do with death..." This startled Marcey, as she hadn't even considered the fact that death was written all over her. She ached. Reality was a pain, as it smacked her in the face once again.

"I think I am a siren. I don't really know how it works, but I accidentally kill people. It's complicated really, and I don't really understand it but you don't really care I am sure. I mean that, I uh. My friend Kylee is at the fire thing I thought she was following me but I got lost." The thought crept in from the darkness of this girl in front of her devouring her in the dead of night. She thought it unlikely, but was silently shaking in her boots. She silently begged for Kylee to read her mind, hoping she would find her and be able to save them both some how. It's not like killing people was a defense mechanism, so in a time of need Marcey knew she was screwed.

These thoughts ran through her mind as she looked around, trying to grab a mental image of every hardly lit thing around her. Do you know where the school is? Wait, are you okay?" The girl stood breathing heavily. "Please tell me you aren't going to die, because I really don't feel that way about you." She joked, trying to make ease of the situation.

"So wolf, you act like you don't like vampires much. Had a few run-ins during your lifetime?" At that he barked out a short laugh. "That's an understatement. Your kind don't know when to leave well enough alone." At the reminder of his abhorrence to some vampires he became disgruntled and a bit furious. Taking in a deep breathe, he calmed himself. No need to get upset Duncan, it's just a conversation. At times like this he really hated his genes. Simple talks easily turned into fights, or threw him into flying rages. I was just something he couldn't help.

He started hearing other voices then. They were distant, but unmistakably female. At that, he motioned for hybrid to follow him. As they made their way to the voices he saw two familiar faces. The other hybrid and the... well he didn't know what the other one was but it was the female that had came in when he was talking with John. John, where was he? He decided to make his appearance known then. "Why are we all still in the forest? Is this like some secret getaway now?" he said sauntering in.

As much as he liked wooden areas, he was getting tired of being in here. Honestly he just wanted to get back to the school and see his dorm and dorm mate. It was getting late so naturally he wanted to see who he would soon be sleeping in the same room with. He needed to know if he needed to sleep with one eye open, or could peacefully sleep the night away.

"I think I am a siren. I don't really know how it works, but I accidentally kill people. It's complicated really, and I don't really understand it but you don't really care I am sure. I mean that, I uh. My friend Kylee is at the fire thing I thought she was following me but I got lost." Kyra cocked her head to the left, a bit of a confused expression on her face. Her humanity was already beginning to sympathize with the girl. "Do you know where the school is? Wait, are you okay?" The girl stood breathing heavily. "Please tell me you aren't going to die, because I really don't feel that way about you." Kyra laughed, "Your not my type, and I know I'm going to-" She stopped talking, hearing the footsteps coming toward them.

Instinctively, she put herself between the noise and Marcey, her teeth bared. Duncan decided to make his appearance known then. "Why are we all still in the forest? Is this like some secret getaway now?" he said sauntering in. Oh, what the hell. Kyra shut her eyes, trying very hard not to lose her temper. "Some of us got lost..." She opened her eyes, glancing back at Marcey, "And needed help getting back to the School." Kyra didn't say anything... She was tired all of a sudden, and was about to fall over, not that she'd let Duncan know that.

Kylee watched as the two men left the area. In some ways she was upset that she had driven them away, but she hadn't trusted them in the first place so was sorta relieved that they had left. She turned to Marcey who then stood up and said, "Should we go back? I just got curious, I am so sorry. Thank you for actually following me. You didn't know what you would find but.. you came anyway." Before she could answer, Kylee received a hug from her friend which she welcomed warmly.
As another log fell to the ash, Kylee turned her attention to the fire. "We should probably just go back" In response to Marcey, Kylee nodded as she watched the fire gently fade to darkness. When she looked back up, she came to the sudden realisation that her friend had wandered off. Little moonlight made it's way through the trees so Kylee struggled to see. She searched her pockets for her phone but it was no use; It must have been left in the dorm.
"Marcey?" Kylee called out timidly, feeling a cold breeze blow through her. Since Marcey didn't seem to be around, Kylee took a couple of steps forward but realised she had no idea in what direction she was going. An idea suddenly occurred to her, almost as if it had been planted in her mind, of trying to read Marcey's mind to locate her. Although Kylee did feel uncomfortable reading minds, especially without permission, she decided it was worth a shot.
Closing her eyes(Even though it didn't really make a difference to what she saw at this point, it still helped her concentrate), Kylee tried to focus on listening in on thoughts. She heard echoes of various thoughts, before sensing one that seemed to belong to Marcey. It was distant and difficult to focus on, but Kylee managed to block out all the others. Something about... Being attacked? Eaten?! Almost instantly, Kylee opened her eyes again and tried to walk in the direction that the thoughts were coming from. She could hardly see and kept stumbling over branches, but soon saw some figures in front of her and heard talking. "Marcey?"

he girl surprised Marcey suddenly with her lack of hostility. With the returned laugh, Marcey breathed easily in confidence. Even more so, when the girl defended her as another figure made his presents known. It was sort of amazing, how it seemed everyone knew when something would happen before it did. Marcey felt anxious because of her new found oblivion and vulnerability. I guess that is why its good to have friends that growl, she laughed at her own thought.

A man stepped into the little moonlight there actually was and his facial features stood out majorly. "Why are we all still in the forest? Is this like some secret getaway now?" There was discomfort in his voice but his body shape seemed to fit the backdrop of the woods perfectly. Marcey smiled slightly with the thought of not being completely alone in the dark woods.

"Some of us got lost... and needed help getting back to the school." The girl replied to him, diminishing the smile Marcey had. She felt stupid or naive. Marcey somewhat wanted to just be lost again; to be away from the smarter, stronger, more dangerous things that surrounded her. It made the idea of wandering around helplessly a lot more comforting.

"Marcey?" She spun around, the desperateness in Kylee's voice rang out as she walked forward.

"I am over here Kylee. You're kinda amazing. I am not dead though I promise!" Marcey called out in response, and then stood awkwardly back turned to the pair she had just been talking to. Her last comment stung in her mouth as she struggled to remain standing. The silent buzzed.

John laid awake in the seemingly massive bed, waiting for his dorm-mate to show. He was curious, as to who he would be spending his time with. The day had been, well, it had been quite a day. This was a lot for John to take in, the existence of the mystics, and their presence at the school. He wondered if they knew anything about where he came from, not that he'd be telling anyone, but sometimes people just, know. The dead silence in the room was uncomfortable.

After a few minutes, John couldn't take it anymore. He made his way to the window, quickly scaling down the building. Once he reached ground level and made his way out behind the school, he could see the fire was still going, dimly, but it was still going. John decided to make his way down, but remain in silence, so he wouldn't be seen. It took him a few minutes, as he hung close to the treeline, making sure to be completely silent on his way there.

"I am over here Kylee. You're kinda amazing. I am not dead though I promise!" Marcy called out, as though who she was talking to was not nearby. John could see Duncan, Marcy, and Kyra. He watched, wondering what they were speaking of. From what John could hear, they had gotten lost. John checked his chest pocket in his jacket. 2 flares. He likes flares, they came in handy much more often than one would think. He quickly made his way about halfway to the school, climbed up a fairly large oak tree, and lit the flare, hoping that the crew of them would recognize the pathway back to the school. John did his best to remain hidden, hoping that they wouldn't see him, and mistake his kindness for weakness.

"Marcey?" Marcey spun around. "I am over here Kylee. You're kinda amazing. I am not dead though I promise!" Marcey called out in response. Kyra glanced at Marcey, sensing that there was something wrong with the girl. "Are you okay?" Kyra was going to step away from the girl when she saw the struggle it took for Marcey to remain standing. She lunged forward and then stopped, her hands inches from Marcey. "Umm..." She looked at Duncan, a pained expression on her face. "I suggest you help her." She stepped away, and into the woods, feeling like a very bad person for not being able to help Marcey. That was when she smelled it and saw the light.

Kyra couldn't help it. Her curiosity got the better of her. She tracked it halfway to the school, and found herself in a predicament with herself. Her quarry turned out to be John, and he hadn't seen or heard her yet. She was also torn between continuing her 'hunt' and just ignoring him... He did almost killed her earlier.. This would be payback. Kyra shifted into her tiger form, and went into a crouch.

She silently moved around the tree, feeling her instincts take control.... She launched herself up the tree, and tackled John from behind causing them both to fall out of the tree. Kyra's teeth were bared as she growled, her claws digging lightly into his shoulders, and it would have been so easy to kill him... she jumped off and shifted into her human form... Her shoulders were shaking, and it took her awhile to realize she was laughing...

John was shocked at the unexpected attack. Tackled out of a tree by a tiger, that was definitely a first. It's claws dug in to his shoulders softly. It could have ripped his head off without a second thought, but it didn't. John's mind raced, he was positive this was the end. "But, a tiger, here?" John thought to himself.

she jumped off and shifted into her human form... Her shoulders were shaking, and it took her awhile to realize she was laughing...

He was speechless. It was the girl, the same one from earlier. He thought for a minute, trying to think of her name. Kyra, he realised at last. And she was laughing. Well, that's a good sign. he hoped.

John hopped up quickly, looked around to see if anyone was there besides the two of them, and smiled at her.

"You're good." He said plainly, taking a seat on a particularly old tree stump, and began to flick his blades.

"Where you from?" he asked, trying to sound polite. He was definitely not trying to make enemies here, and they had definitely started off on the wrong foot. Social interaction was definitely not on his list of strengths, he was nervous. It was the first time he'd spoken to a woman, alone. He wasn't sure what to say, what to talk about, or whether he should say much of anything. He decided to see where the conversation went before he decided on what subjects would be vague enough not to reveal his past.

He could tell by the roll of her eyes, that the lass wasn't happy to see him again. We'll he wasn't exactly thrilled either. At her response about getting lost, he decided to drop his idle attempt of conversation. "We'll if everyones lost I can let you all know that we're no more than a few yards west of the school." And just like that, Duncan headed in that direction. "You're welcome to follow me back if you're scared of making it back by yerselves," he called over his shoulder.

He was walking at a leisurely pace in case anyone had decided to follow behind. Winding his way through the trees and maneuvering around the roots of tree, he found his way back to the school. The lights outside had been turned on, eliminating the large castle like structure of the school. Eh, it ain't such a bad place. Looking around he noticed a building with a few students milling about in front of. "Hey, is this the dormitory?" he asked one girl out front. "Yup, I'm guessing you're new," she said with a smile. Surprisingly Duncan smiled back, deciding to be friendly and nice for a change, "yea I am, and thank you," he said as he stepped forward into the building.

Walking to the front desk, he checked in and got a key to his room, 311. So that meant third floor. As he made his way there, he noticed his bags outside the front door. Unlocking his room, he brought his bags in and noticed another pair of bags already in the room. His roommate had already made an appearance, and apparently disappeared again. Setting his bags in his corner of the room, he jumped onto his back, laying on his back with his arms behind his head, not bothering to close the door. Ah, downtime, just what I needed.

She didn't know what to do, or how to act.... He was a normal human, but at the same time, he wasn't. "I know I'm good... I think." Kyra felt awkward, something she rarely felt, and she was confused when she realized she had no real answer for his question. She did not know where she came from... She did not know where she was born... "I don't know where I come from."

That's when she realized that she was telling a human a truth about her. She began to growl, ready to say something, when her growl faltered... Human don't growl, why am I growling? Is it rude to growl at him? I don't know what to!

Kyra felt confused, awkward, and.... Human. "Uhh, is it rude to growl you?" Stupid! "Mmm... You are human... I'm sorry, I don't know what is okay to do around a Human... Grrr..." She began to growl again, but this time, at herself for being so confused. She was confused, dumbstruck, and she didn't know why, and because she didn't know why, it was making her angry.

She began to growl again, but this time, at herself for being so confused. She was confused, dumbstruck, and she didn't know why, and because she didn't know why, it was making her angry.

John could see she was starting to get upset, it seemed she was lacking in social skills aswell.

"It's fine." He said calmly, as he tried to think of where he had previously stated where he was from. No dice. He began debating telling her the truth. After all, he doubted someone with the ability to shape-shift would hold much animosity against his order. He decided to tell her, what could it hurt, and hell, if it came to bite him in the ass, he wouldn't be alive long enough to regret it anyway.

"If I tell you where I'm from, you need to promise me you're not going to share the information." He said nervously. He was breaking the third commandment of the Hashasins, but he was never much for obeying their commandments. He had a laundry list of commandment breaks. He was constantly breaking into the ancient library, he had revealed himself by decapitating a man in a public place, on live television, just to name a few.

"I'm from a small town in the middle east, Alamut. I'm a part of an ancient bloodline of assassins. When people get too power hungry, kill their own civillians, start wars, commit genocide, or anything else that is deemed improper by our leader, their killed. I've been trained as an assassin since I was five." John said, quivering with each word. He was nervous beyond anything he had ever been before. His hands shook violently as he continued to play with his blades. Not long after, he lit a cigarette, unsure of whether he had just made a terrible mistake, or had just made a friend. He hoped to god it was the latter, and not the former, he really didn't want to fight a tiger, and besides, she seemed alright. Definitely someone John wanted on his team in a fight.

"Marcey?" Marcey spun around. "I am over here Kylee. You're kinda amazing. I am not dead though I promise!"
Relieved to hear her friend's voice, Kylee made her way over to the small group of people. Almost as soon as she had reached them, she gasped as she noticed a flash that lit up the school. Another girl that was in the group left, followed by the man Kylee had seen earlier. She turned to Marcey and said, "You okay then? We should head back too now."
The last person to leave had offered for the others to follow him, and Kylee thought this wise as otherwise they would once again be lost and alone in the dark.

"It's fine." He said calmly. Kyra felt the block of icy annoyance melt in her head, somewhat. "If I tell you where I'm from, you need to promise me you're not going to share the information." He said nervously. Kyra couldn't help but feel like some speechless animal that people go to talk out their feelings. It felt strange to be put in this position.

"I'm from a small town in the middle east, Alamut. I'm a part of an ancient bloodline of assassins. When people get too power hungry, kill their own civilians, start wars, commit genocide, or anything else that is deemed improper by our leader, their killed. I've been trained as an assassin since I was five." John said, quivering with each word. Kyra's inner turmoil about her strange position fled the scene as she began to glare daggers at him. She was now torn... The thing that made her human wanted to ask questions and... maybe try to comfort the human, and the tiger in her was roaring at her to kill him. The dog didn't want to kill him either. Two against one.

Kyra growled, "I should kill you... but I don't think you'd taste good." She scowled at him, exhaustion written on her face. "Now I'm going to go." She turned and walked back to the school. She barely made it to her dorm room. She looked around inside it. Nothing was different since she first showed up. No roommate, just the bare white walls, and the bed she made, but hadn't slept in. "Oh, pathetic." She shifted into her tiger form, and curled up on the ground, in the corner of the room, and fell asleep.

"I should kill you... but I don't think you'd taste good." She scowled at him, exhaustion written on her face. "Now I'm going to go." John was dissapointed with her reaction, he would need to keep a serious eye on her, if the wrong person knew what he was, they could all be in grave danger, the clerics would rip through the school without a second thought. They were quick to kill first, and ask questions later, John had only ran into two in his life, and they were not easy to put down. He remembered the story, as he rubbed the small scar just below his jugular. He was 17, the cleric, early 20's. It was a hell of a fight, and he had nearly killed John, the Cleric's blade piercing just below Johns' Jugular, as johns blade drove eight inches into the man's temple.

That didn't go as well as I had hoped John thought to himself, returing back to reality. He made his way back to the dorm quickly, very ready for a few hours of sleep. As he walked, he wondered if he'd have a roommate, it would be easier if he didn't, a lot less explaining to do. No such luck. As he walked in the room, he noticed Duncan on the bed closest to the door. Great, a werewolf. John thought to himself sarcastically, before throwing off his robe, checking the room, the window, and eventually, climbing into bed. He pulled out the Ledger, and continued to read. It was a story of a vampire, killed around the mid 1700's in France.

He fell asleap slowly, nodding off as he read. before he was completely under, he laid the ledger underneath his pillow, hiding it.

As Kylee made her entrance, everyone else made their exits. She waited for Kylee to catch up as she hurried behind the guy from the fire who was leading them back to the school. She felt stupid. Words were not even an option as they wandered back on campus. With silence, came memories. Haunted forests where she and Declan had survived on Halloween, where he would say "Run!!!" and fall just so she would get scared. She never ran though. Even when her life could have been in danger, she stayed to make sure he got to his feet. The conclusion of her thought came as she stepped up to the door she had exited on her way from the building. She held the door open for Kylee, hoping she wasn't listening in. She stepped inside and started walking down the halls past the photo that had sent her running. She turned to Kylee as they passed it, hoping to avoid the thought of him. "Sorry about that"she knew that she had caused a little two much trouble the first day. "Sometimes I just get a little nervous. I don't like tight spaces I guess.. " She couldn't think of the word to match her own excuse. "Claustrophobic, that is" It hit her in enough time to see the photo behind them. She wandered for a bit, tracing the steps she hadn't realized she had picked up, eventually finding her way back to their room. She unlocked it quickly with her own key, and stared at Kylee. "Thank you again.. " she said as she stumbled to her bed and collected her night clothes, placing the photo of her and Declan face down on the table.

Kyra woke up feeling... absolutely wonderful. She got up, shifted into her human form and changed her clothes. She then proceeded to her classes.

Her first class was learning self-defense outside on the front lawn. Her already brightened spirit grew brighter at the thought of taking someone down. That was when she remembered her brother shared some classes with her; this was one of those classes.

Of course, Shrade showed up late and end up jogging out of the main building and to her side. He face was already looking like he was bored. "So, what are we doing out here today?" He ignored the talking instructor.

"We are supposedly learning self-defense." Kyra whispered back to him.

Shrade made a face and growled, "Not this again... Who put us in this moron's class anyway?"

"Who do you think?"

"Having an over-protective step mother is terrible... Maybe we should have gone with the mean step mother instead." Kyra smiled at this.

So when the instructor stopped talking, Kyra and Shrade circled each other. "I'm not going easy on you." She stated, as she went into a crouch, knowing that out of them both, she was the quickest and stronger. Shrade snarled at this, "I don't-" Kyra interrupted him as she already had pinned to the ground. "I told you." Shrade cursed under his breath.

Kyra let him get back up, but began to wonder if there was anyone worth sparring with. No one like her brother, but would give her a challenge as she was tired of having an advantage over her brother and other people.

John awoke in the morning, before the sun rose. He grabbed his ledger, and made his way atop the school, to watch the sunrise.

It was amazing. The sky lit up with a slightly dimmed pink haze, as the sun slowly managed to poke out above a medium sized cloud. The trees were blocking a small amount of the light, but from where he was sitting, it was perfect.

The rest of the school awoke not too long after, as they all gathered for their morning classes. " Self Defense" John chuckled, making his way down to the front courtyard, where he would be assuming to meet the rest. He though this would be, interesting. He made his way up to a large group of about fifteen. The instructor looked at him, raised his nose, and pointed to a small group, of six, as the rest of the class chuckled somewhat. He was in the front grass, a small group of about six, divided from everyone else. Humans, he assumed.

"All five of you, on me, right now." He wanted to finish this as soon as he could. First swung with a straight right, Johnducked and hit him with a light uppercut, grabbed his arm, and threw him into the two others, four swing, he ducked behind number four, and placed him in a light chokehold, twisting and throwing him to absorb five's punch, chest kick to three as he started to windup, ducked two's wildly thrown haymaker, left leg kick to two, palm strike to the back of his neck, then one hit him with a right cross. John absorbed the punch with ease, and noticed he was winding up for a left uppercut, he slid his head to the left, grabbed his arm, ducked to about his hip, and threw him over his back, chest kick, and five was last. John let him square up, to make it a fair fight, well, as fair as it could be. He threw two jabs, John easily sliding away from both, he winked, and told five to try and hit him. He couldn't. John quickly dispached him, counter striking him in the forehead with his palm after five threw a right cross. After that, they all just backed off. He looked at the human instructor, smiled, and walked away. He hoped the rest of the day would prove to be more of a challenge. Second class, free-running. This would be much more of a challenge, a test of his agility.

Duncan Wallace

Duncan awoke from a fitful night of sleep. He heard someone come in and when he realized it was John he had said nothing and promptly turned over in his bed facing the wall. No sense in conversation, he thought.

Slowly rising from the bed he dressed in simple black shirt and some loose fitted jeans. Throwing his backpack over his shoulder he headed out the room, running his fingers through his hair in an attempt to 'fix' it. He managed to snag an apple from the dorm fridge on their floor and walked out of the building. Taking a bite out of his apple, he looked down at his schedule to check for his next class. 'History of the Lycans'. He snorted his amusement. Well at least he'd be surrounded by fellow werewolves that he may, or may not, relate to.

He was late, shocker. Duncan made the trek to the back of the room while the class silently watched him, you know the usually stare the class normally gives you when you come in late, like you've got six heads. Sitting comfortably in the corner of the room, took of a notebook and actually paid attention to the lecture. It was finally a class he gave a shit about since it had some part to do with him, in the smallest part. He was so attuned to the class he hadn't noticed the small red head staring at him in amusement. When he did look up at her, he was surprised to notice that she was actually cute and not creepy, despite her staring at him.

"Can I help you?" he asked. That only made her smile broaden.

"Not really, just noticed that you seem to be living up to your reputation," just then the bell rang and she got up and left the room.

Duncan remained in his chair, a little stunned from the interaction. Reputation? Well the hell did that mean? Shaking his head, he got up and walked out into the courtyard. There was an hour to kill before the next class, might as well enjoy the day.

John noticed Kyra fall after walking into a tree as he made his way to his room. He noticed a small crowd slowly making their way around her, she seemed to be laughing, loudly, and hysterically. He approached slowly, and made his way through the crowd. Some left the moment he arrived, as though something was spooking them.

"You ok?" He asked plainly, studying the crowd. Movement, near the forested area, down the path leading to the school. Something was up, someone was watching them. Black cloak, large hood, couldn't see his face. This was a problem, one that would need to be handled immediately. Cleric.

"Get up, make a scene" he whispered to her as he picked her up off the ground and began making his way to the forested area, making sure that the cleric wouldn't see him. He hadn't been seen yet, once he made it to the woods he would be fine. He began making his way to him, making sure not to make any noise, as he drew his hood and removed his shortblade from his bag. he got close, close enough to see he was not alone. three in total, They would kill him in a fair fight, he prayed someone else would be able to help him. He crossed himself, and whispered a prayer. "Quinirus, grant me the strength to do what is necessary" He didn't pray often, but this was a necessary situation.

"You ok?" Kisa stopped laughing and looked up. It was John. She grinned, ignoring the voice at the back of her head screaming at her to jump onto her feet and take up a protective stance. "Get up, make a scene" He whispered to her as he picked her up off the ground and began making his way to the forested area. Kyra stopped smiling as soon as she steadied herself. She was going to say something when she actually noticed that he was gone. She growled and instead of doing what he wanted her to do, she began to follow his scent.

Kyra found John... And three others, that smelled just like him. She growled, and sensing the danger in the air shifted into her tiger form. John crossed himself, and whispered a prayer. "Quinirus, grant me the strength to do what is necessary." She let out a savage growl.

She was right behind him.

She let out a savage growl.

john leaped quickly, before the three had time to react to the growl, and swung his shortblade towards the throat of the one on the left. He ducked, and absorbed John's left wrist blade into the side of his head. The one in the middle attempted to stab him, John parry'd his attempt, kicked his kneecap in, breaking his leg. He stabbed John in the upper thigh, before Kyra, in her tiger form, bit him directly in the neck. He was bleeding badly, and wouldn't last long without some medical assistance. He nocticed the first man was still somewhat alive, and John knelt down beside him.

"Why did you come" He whispered as he let his right wristblade out.

"This is nothing. These, things that are here, will burn, along with your order." The cleric whispered with his last breath.

" Rest in peace. " John whispered as he closed the mans eyes.

Duncan Wallace

Duncan was minded his own business when he spotted his little red head talking with a group of girls near the dorms. He studied her, his brow furrowing slightly when he phone began to ring.
"Hello?"
"Duncan, it's me."
"Da? What's the matter?" He doesn't normally call for idle chit-chat.
"A rival clan member had decided to join the ranks amongst you."
"Can ya give me a hint as to whom it may be?"
"A female, tis' all I know. Luceo non uro, my child."
"Luceo non uro." I shine not burn. And just like that he hung up.
Duncan eyed the new girl warily then, who the hell are you exactly, he thought. Just then as sensing him, the girl looked up and smiled an innocent smile at him.
Grunting he headed off towards the forest. Duncan was going to get to the bottom of this. He was in sore need of a run right about now. Perhaps this would clear his mind of the recent events.

John disappeared into the forest once the deed was done, not saying anything to Kyra, not yet. He needed to tend to his injuries. It was a fairly large cut, 5 inches in length, about an inch deep, and had split pretty badly. He would need to stitch it, but had nothing he could do so with. "Fuck" He muttered to himself. He tore a piece of his robe off, and tied it around his leg. He let out a small grunt as he finished tying it, hoping he would be able to make it back to the school. It took him a fairly long time to make it back, secretly hoping Kyra was near, he knew he didn't have much time before he was out cold on the ground, and nobody would find him here.

He came out of the woods limping, and feeling extremely light headed, and unsure of himself. He made it to the front courtyard before he finally passed out. Face first, into the grass, underneath what seemed to be an apple tree. I didn't look good for him, he may very well die here if nobody finds him.
