Kybran "Twinfinity" H'etsura's Story

Mao came out of the portal and entered into the forest beside Skylar and Superdoo. She looked around. This place was a little darker than the garden and had trees and plants growing wild. She took in the sweet smell of pine and could hear many species of birds chirping and the leaves rustled in the breeze. Although this place was a game, it seemed so real. That was the part Mao loved the most about playing Hax. Not only the fact that she could act how she wanted and wasn't worried about being judged, fight creatures that would never exist in the real world, and go on an adventure that would only happen in movies. It was that this wasn't some world where you could tell everything is fake. Another player suddenly entered the forest as well and loudly introduced himself as "Twinfinity".

"I'm new to the game, and I wanted to make a few friends. Who are you guys?"

The new player said, sounding a little too happy. He was carrying a beginner staff, just as Mao herself was, but it was easy to tell he wasn't a magician as she was. He was definitely a mage. She turned her head to him. "Mao." she said blankly. "My name is MaoNeko. It's nice to meet you Twinfinity." She said, this time slightly more emotion in her voice.

superdoo52 looks around also noticing the new player as he introduces himself loudly "Twinfinity huh? that's an interesting name i wonder what he could possibly bring to the group." superdoo52 walks up to him and presents his hand to shake it "welcome we are also new to game. my name is superdoo52 and this is my party" superdoo52 sniffs the air and he catches a strange odor he always had a nose that could smell better than his friends for some reason "hmm" he thinks to himself for a moment. "now i wonder what that could be" on the outside superdoo52 doesn't change in appearance but he had a strange feeling about this place. he knew they weren't safe here for long.

Message to Twinfinity

We are sorry to inform you but multiplication is not allowed in the game. We have decided to allow you to do so outside of combat, but in combat, being able to multiply yourself will not be allowed and will not be counted. Thank you for your time.

(And I am the one that always controls the monsters. I don't think you read the rules clearly enough. Be sure to check them over, just to be sure. I will spawn a monster when I believe the time is right; whether that is when you arn't expecting it or if you are. So I suggest all players be on their toes for anything. -ZaBanpaiaNeko)

Luna gazes over towards the gate, squinting slightly so that she may see better. There appeared to be more new players entering the area. She wasn't sure if she liked that; afraid they might attract stronger level monsters, but if she stayed distant from them with her group, maybe they would be un-noticed. Her fuzzy brown ears droop as she suddenly spots one of the men multiply and go trotting in different directions. Was he crazy? Not only did she not think he was in the other groups party, at least not yet, but he was walking off on his own in a place like this. Monsters of all levels and ranks were here. He could be killed in a second! Luna faught with herself on whether to help the strange Mage, or to leave him be. It didn't need her decision though...one of his clones, or maybe it was even him, was already heading in her direction, while the others went else where. As the Mage trotted through the field of Hippips, they scattered slightly, but stared up at him in curiousity. Their tails swayed as a few here and there let out small croaks and roars. They were small, mostly unworthy of attacking. But one could be kept as a pet...Her lip curls to show bright white fangs as a deep growl can be heard from deep within her throat. Luna points a claw towards the intruding character. "Hey there! Get out of here! This is our spot! We are working the area here! What are you doing, anyways? You are gonna attract dangerous monsters that way!" Luna barks out in anger, her fur spiking up on edge. With so many people in one area, monsters would surely notice! It was as if Luna had suddenly become a very teritorial dog and was becoming quite aggitated with the intruder.

As superdoo52 watches this "twinfinity" run around like a chicken with his head cut off he takes note of a cool breeze that blows his way. "hmm i don't like this feeling.. there is way too much action in this quiet forest... this idiot is going to get us all killed and we haven't even got the chance to do anything yet..." he thought to himself. superdoo52 takes a deep breath and sighs still thinking to himself "i guess i can wait a little while longer so he can get his shit together." superdoo52 bends his knees and gets into a kneeling position. looking at his new found party, and then around them he notices a few small dots. with careful analyzation he can see that they are in fact more players. "hmm" he thinks out loud "it would appear that we have more players on the horizon." he points slowly in the direction of the new found players. "well, now that that man is out of the way. what or where is it that you want to go or do? i honestly think there are too many people here... i feel something strange going on here. theirs too much commotion and noise here. its up to you all." he pulls out his newly purchased rare bow and grips it tight dry firing it once to check the quality of the bow. it was a rather nice bow and sharp to boot. it seemed like he could easily cut something up with the bow alone. but he knew that if something DID get that close he had a few daggers waiting as well. breathing in once again taking in all the nature he listens intently to everything around him and his party members.

Mao sighed as Twinfinity strode out among the forest. "The newest of the new" She said to herself, then turned her head to Superdoo. "Yes, he does seem like an idiot but, unlike myself, mages have much more healing ability and it might be handy having him in our party." After saying this she noticed one of Twinifinity's duplicates or himself, she couldn't really tell, was being yelled at by another player. She laughed inside herself, thinking that if this was the real world that was something she might've ended up doing just for the fun of it.

"well, now that that man is out of the way. what or where is it that you want to go or do? i honestly think there are too many people here... i feel something strange going on here. theirs too much commotion and noise here. its up to you all."

She heard Superdoo say, his voice having a hint of hesitation in it. She looked around the forest. He was right, though this place was large, there were quite a few players here. More players could possibly mean higher level monsters. That did make Mao a little hesitant to stay here herself but then again, high level monsters could also mean faster leveling up for them. She watched Superdoo test his bow once. "I think we should stay." She said calmly, though feeling a little fearful. She hadn't fought anything since she's been here and would rather give it a try on a small, almost harmless creature than anything else. But if the opportunity called for it why pass it up? "Unless either of you want to leave and find another place to train, then I think we should stay and see what happens."

Luna yells out in anger as the strange intruder begins to multiply more, running around in a panic. "You FOOL!" She hisses, but it was too late....
A high pitch screech can be heard. Her deep brown eyes gaze up in hesitation to see the fluttering harpy which gazed at all of the players below her. She was flying above the field. Apparently the commotion had attracted her to the area, to see that players were on her territory..This wouldn't end well...The harpy was very much so angry, her feathers ruffled. "Dammit!" Luna curses under her breath. Luckily, it hadn't made it's call...If it called for the protecting spirits of the Forest, they would all be doomed...The call it made for that was specific. It was more like a dying cat-like sound. The harpy wouldn't call for help right away though...But they needed to get rid of her, and fast, before she decided to. "ATTACK HER! KILL HER QUICK!" She shouts to the distant players, adjusting her rare claws on her hands. They couldn't take down this harpy by themselves. The teams would need to work together.

Luna goes running at full speed towards the harpy, her hair blowing in the wind. Her eyes were dead set on the enemy, as if she had locked on to a target. Leaping onto a large boulder and using it to push off and jump higher up into the air, Luna is able to slice down the Harpy's leg with her claws. The harpy lets out a yelp of pain, the blood flowing down her injured leg.
Player Wolfy does 13 damage to harpy (+1 for using claws. +5 original attack damage. +7 weapon attack damage).

Harpy's Health: 117/130

Harpy causes a small tornado to form with the gust of wind from her franticly flapping wings. The tornado traps Wolfy and slams her into the ground, causing 100 damage.

Wolfy's +20 defense deflects some damage. Wolfy's Health: 120/200

Luna groans, her body aching. This game was so real, she could even feel the pain. Coughing up some blood, she hopes the others will quickly jump in before it becomes to late...At any moment, this harpy could simply decide to call out...She needed them to attack quickly! Luna slowly brings herself to her feet, her body shaking. She wouldn't give up....

"Whoa we didn't mean to take your spot..." But it was no use. He wasn't able to speak up loud enough to get their attention. Just as the high pitch scream came from the distance he looked directly at the harpy who attacked Wolfy. "Oh no!" He began to run to close the distance between him and the harpy.

Skylar looked very lost at what to do but regardless he drew his polearm and sighs gripping it tightly then lunges at the harpy using his pole arm just hoping to drag the attention away so Wolfy wouldn't get hit harder.

(You all have done perfectly. Great job~ I would like to state something about battling though, just so everyone knows. You can only attack once with the same weapon per post. But, if you have multiple weapons, you can use them all, as long as it is only once per post. Ex. Wolfy uses claws and then uses knife. Do not-Ex. Wolfy uses claws and then uses claws again. You can also attack multiple enemies with the same weapon. Ex. Wolfy uses claws on harpy and then on Koi. As long as you don't use the same weapon twice in a post on the same enemy, it is good.)

Luna breathes in deeply, a strange warmth flowing through her blood as Twinfinity takes the time to heal her. She still felt slightly weak, but it had helped, even if it hadn't given her much. It was better than nothing, and she was quite appreciative, even if she was still angered by the man..."Thank you.." She mumbles, before turning her attention back onto the harpy....

Harpy takes 6 points of damage from Twinfinity's attack

Harpy takes 3 points of damage from Skylar and 5 points of life is sapped from Harpy and given to Skylar.

Harpy's Health: 103/130

Skylar's Health: 105/100

Harpy takes 7 points of damage from Mao

Harpy's call for help has been disabled due to Superdoo52's attack. Harpy takes 12 points of damage from Superdoo52's bow (+1 for using bow. +6 for bow. +5 original bow attack). Both daggers do 3 points of damage each; total of 6 points of damage.

Harpy's Health: 78/130

The harpy gags with pain, blood oozing from various wounds on her body. She tried to choke out cries, but no noises besides the curdling of blood could be heard, being that Superdoo52 had enabled her from making any sounds by slicing open her vocal chords. Although she had been hurt greatly by all of the attacks, still, she was strong. Luna was relieved she no longer had the ability to call for the Forest Spirits, however...This made things much easier...At this point, the field was entirely empty. Even the Hoppips had fled in fear of what was going on. The Harpy leaps to slice Mao with a sharp claw; her body trembling. The cat ears, however, allow Mao to be able to quickly dodge the attack (50% chance). Luna howls, her body trembling as she began to morph into the wolf form she had yet to use. Her bones cracked and twisted as she fell onto all fours, growling and snarling with pain, until finally a brown, muscular wolf stood in her place. With a bark, Luna leaps up again to bite onto the Harpy's leg, tearing at the flesh of it. At that point she quickly morphs back, using her rare claws to slice up the Harpy's body while flipping backwards off of her to land safely on the ground.

Harpy takes 10 points of damage from Wolfy's wolf form. Harpy takes 13 points of damage from Wolfy's attack (+1 for using claws. +5 for original attack damage. +7 for claws attack damage).

Harpy's Health: 55/130

The Harpy lands, finally, unable to contain the strength of flying. She was becoming much weaker, and if she had the ability to call for the spirits, she would have at that moment. Luckily, Superdoo52 was quick to think. In anger, she quickly turns her bloody body towards Superdoo52. With an angry flutter of her injured wings, a weak tornado comes spiraling towards him, slamming him into a boulder behind him.

Harpy does 100 damage to Superdoo52

Superdoo52's automatic +5 damage defense blocks some of the attack. Superdoo52's Health: 65/160

Level 1 Lightning bolt

Mao quickly dodged the attack from the Harpy in a split second and ran to where she was about 20 feet from where superdoo had been slammed into the boulder. She gave a sigh of relief. That was way too close, she thought to herself. She glanced over to see Twinfinity rushing to help Superdoo after taking much damage from the Hapry's attack. Then Twinfinity stood in front of Superdoo to protect him. She smiled to herself but kept a blank appearance on the outside. An idiot true, but a friend, she thought to herself, her opinion on Twinifinity slightly changing. She rushed over to where Twinfinity was and stood beside him. "I'll defend you best I can" She said firmly. Turning her attention to the Harpy, she leaped forward, slamming the end of her staff into the side of the creatures head and at the same moment the staff made contact she sent an electric bolt surging through the Harpy's body. Mao being rather weary at how close she was standing to the monster, but hoped she confused the creature enough to let Wolfy get in a good attack.

Superdoo52 having being smashed into the boulder feels the pain rushing though his body. he lets out small cough watching blood come from his mouth "well that cant be good.." he thinks to himself as he looks up to see twinfinity in front of the harpy in a protective stance. "huh.." he he thinks to himself once more. superdoo52 reaches down into his pocket and pulls out two health potions and downs them quickly they didn't taste bad instantly he can feel something running through his veins "ahh that's better" he could feel the pain easing away. before hand he couldn't feel twinfinity heal him so he didn't know to say thank you or not. feeling better now superdoo52 quickly rises to his feet "thanks for the protection" he says quietly as he quickly picks up his bow and draws back an arrow with great precision aimed straight for the face of the harpy. if anything he would try to distract the harpy from Mao considering she was so close. he lets the arrow fly straight to its destination. it was in fates hands now.

He lands then turns to look at the players attacking the beast. After she fell he looked rather surprised. He sighs and crouches down waiting with his pole arm in hand. He takes a few seconds before lunging at the harpy again going for the arm. As he feels his pole arm hit her he feels slightly relieved that he got to hit her again without getting attacked.

Harpy takes 3 points of damage from Skylar and 5 points of life is taken from her and added to his health.

Harpy takes 12 points of damage from Superdoo52's bow (+1 for using bow. +6 for bow. +5 original bow attack).
Harpy takes 7 points of damage from Mao

Harpy's Health: 22/130

The Harpy yells and screeches, her muscles spazziming with pain and from the shocking attack from Mao. It was almost completely out of control. Her body falls limp onto the floor, too weak to stand or fight any longer. Luna slowly walks up to the Harpy, staring down at her with her deep brown eyes. This was her chance to finish it off...Finally...Luna panted, not only out of exhaustion but from excitment, as well. Luna raises her claws and stabs through the Harpy's chest, morphing at the moment she does so. The familar cracks and twists of her bones can be heard as she groans and growls with pain. Now in her silky brown wolf form, Luna bites at the Harpy's throat, or what was left of it anyways, tearing it away.

Harpy takes 10 points of damage from Wolfy's wolf form. Harpy takes 13 points of damage from Wolfy's attack (+1 for using claws. +5 for original attack damage. +7 for claws attack damage).

The Harpy's body finally falls still, as it begins to break down into small pieces of flesh and bone. It finally bursts into a ball of light, fading away into the sky...It was over...They had finally done it...Blood dripped from her once pearly white teeth, it also staining the fur around her mouth. Her tongue hangs about, licking at the sweet blood. It was strange; in this form, the blood tasted so much better than she would have ever thought it would...Slowly she turned back into her normal form, smoothing out her bleach blonde hair...

(Do not forget to store your gold and items in the bank. If gold is not in the bank when you go to buy something, you will be unable to buy it. So do not forget. I will keep track of it if you store it.)

Mao let out a relieved sigh as the Harpy was finally defeated and Superdoo's health had risen.

"So, how about we get back to that exploring, huh?"

She heard Twinfinity say before a couple of his copies rejoined with him. He turned to walk away but she placed her hand on his shoulder to stop him. "If you think you'll ever find a party by trotting about in the forest like an idiot, then you might as well give up now." She said firmly then took a step back, dropping her hand from his shoulder to her side. "You brought that Harpy here. If there are more players in an area, a larger monster will spawn. I suggest that if you are going to use your duplication magic to scout out an area, then do it somewhere where there are very few players. "Mao smiled faintly at Twinfinity. "There can be five members in one party, and I right now it's just me, Superdoo, and Skylar. I believe your healing magic could be beneficial." She looked over at Superdoo. "But, it's his party so that is up to him. Otherwise you can continue wandering about with your copies." She said, her voice blunt and emotionless as she turned her head back to him.

Luna rubs her fingers through the back of her hair, giving a small fanged grin towards the Reaper character. She nods. "I'm fine, really. Perfectly fine!" She states, happily swaying her tail. She had a lot of health, luckily, for her character type, so she wasn't all that weak just yet. Luna happily takes Skyler's hand and shakes it firmly. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Wolfy...If it wern't for you guys, my team and I might have been dead meat. Working together really helped out." She states, her eyes gazing wordily over towards the party leader of the other team. Luna pricks her ears up as the strange mage, Twinfinity, begins to wonder off. She yelps out in anger. "Where do you think you're going!! I have a bone to pick with you!" Luna growls deeply in anger. He had almost got them all killed! An evil glint is seen in her eyes as she trots up to the man and places a sharp claw against his throat. "Make you a deal, you don't do that crazy shit again and I won't kill you myself..." Luna mumbles, giving an angry huff before turning away from him and crossing her arms.

Superdoo52 watches as the whole scene unfolds watching as Mao and twinfinity speak of him being in the party. superdoo52 kneels down checking himself over his wounds are still bleeding slightly but they would heal soon. as twinfinity approaches him he looks up at him and then over at Mao "sure i guess just.. don't do the same thing you just did back there. it was careless, foolish, and unnecessary." superdoo52 watches as Skylar and Luna converse out of the corner of his eye he then watches as Luna approaches twinfinity placing her claw on his throat "hmm shes got spunk.." he thinks to himself. he looks down and closes his eye and inhales deeply "anyway.. so where do we go from here?" he stands pushing some of the blood out of his wounds and looks around. "man... i didn't even level from that either..." he looks down thinking silently he checks his equipment everything was in order. he pulls up the transparent window once more and quickly sends twinfinity a party invite.

He let's out a sigh just happy she wasn't mad at him or something. "Yeah. It was a nice bit of experience too." He smiles shyly before going back to his quiet self. When Wolfy walks over to Twinfinity, he puts his pole arm away then pulls up a small screen to check how much he has in the bank. "Damn. Only 67 gold. Even if I sell my cat ears it won't be enough." He says to himself just barely loud enough to be heard. He closes the menu and sighs looking at his pole arm. "This thing sucks. Barely even did any damage to the harpy." He then sits on a rock and waits to go.

Mao watched the whole scene as she sat down on a rock to rest for a minute. She removed the cat ear and placed them in her inventory, feeling like she looked a little ridiculous wearing them.

"Damn. Only 67 gold. Even if I sell my cat ears it won't be enough."

She barely heard Skylar mumble. She looked over in his direction to answer him but then then Wolfy started growling at Twinfinity about his stupidity. She smiled faintly. If this were her and not her character she probably would have joined in and gave him a long lecture but Mao kept the idea to herself and looked over at Superdoo as he stood and asked where they wanted to go from here. "We should probably take it easy for now." She responded and then looked at his wounds. They were almost healed but she was worried that if he kept pushing they might not heal very fast and if a monster were to come around he would have to watch his health. "At least until your health is almost fully regained. Then you can decide what we do from there." She stood up and walked over to Luna and held out her hand "You also helped us defeat the Harpy. I hope you were't too badly injured." She said with a faint smile on her face. "MaoNeko is my username but Mao is easier to say."

Luna's soft brown ear gives a light twitch at Twinfinity's voice, but she does not respond. Her body still somewhat ached, but she didn't want to let the others around her know that. She was a werewolf, after all, the strongest character type phsycialy. She was stubborn and felt she had some sort of "image" to keep because of that. Whipping some of the dried blood from her mouth, her tail gently sways as her deep brown eyes gaze towards Mao, who walks up to her and introduces herself. Luna nods, shaking Mao's hand as firmly as she had shook Skylar's, having not heard him mumbling at all when she had been in her own deep thoughts. "Hello, MaoNeko...May I call you Mao? As you've heard, I'm Wolfy, of course..." It was nice to know that at least a few people in the party wern't bad. Mao and the leader seemed very knowledgeable and level-headed. She liked them quite a bit. Skylar was a bit quiet and Luna wasn't sure about him, but he was kind none the less. Luna's attention went straight towards Superdoo52 after the greeting between Mao and herself was complete. "So...your name?" She asks, quite interested in the elf. "Also...I do sugest that if we are going to rest, we should head back to Town...Not only will it heal us all automaticly, but we can take the time to plan out and figure out what we should do next...But it is your choice...We can slowly gain health here and fight it out..." Luna says, seeing Superdoo52 as the leader in general. She was the leader of her own party, but they seemed to be off in their own world and hadn't much been with her. In fact, she thought she might as well lose a few of them....Luna pulls up the screen, pressing the "remove" button on Joker and Kaden in the party. She decided to keep Acclaire, because she seemed she might return, being that was what she had told her.
