Alarm clock sounds-- "Groans" Kamiko sets the alarm off, gets up, and starts the day. She gets dressed brushes her teeth, heads to the college. She waves to her mother as she is walking to college "Bye mama!~" she says smiling softly. She enters the building, sighs, and walks to the second floor where her first class is. 2:00pm College is done for the day, and Kamiko sets forth to the bakery.

As she is walking to the bakery she see's a sign on the bakery's window, she walks quickly towards it, she smiles a little "Waa! did Shone release a new sweet?!" she says to herself. It says "3 New job positions available! please speak to shop owner if interested" She pauses for a moment and has a nervous look on her face "w-..wait! that means...new employers!...i'll..i'll..have to..talk to them..and be around them..what if I say something...Dumb.... or stupid? being with Shone for 3 months at the bakery still makes me uneasy, how will I...be around 3 new people?!" she thinks to herself. She shakes her
head and shuts her eyes tight trying to calm down.



She's only used to being around Shone, and that too, it took great effort for him to get through to talking to her and it took her a long while before she started talking a little casually with him from time to time, and he had taken a generous amount of time to gain her trust and friendship and he keeps his distance, because he knows of Kamiko's solitary nature.


She looked down at the floor and narrowed her eyes and had a worried expression on her face...she scuffed the floor back and forth with her shoe. The front door chimes "--Ah!" she bows and puts her hands behind her back "Welco-..Welcome to Hearts Sweets-bakery.." And hopes that they are just customers looking to buy sweets and not take the job positions...

Kage had been having a wonderful dream about taking over the world when an annoying buzzing sound interupted him. With a growl he rolled over and punched his infernal alarm clock off his nightstand. But it didn't turn off, which forced him to actually get up and turn it off. He got his day started by getting ready for classes. His roommate rightfully stayed out of his way. He headed off to classes, still in a bad mood.

He was racking his brain over a project he had given for his writing class. It was his secret passion to become a writer, and he already had several ideas in mind. He just couldn't pick which one he wanted to use. He decided to go to the library after classes and get a few books on the subjects, to make sure he got his facts right.

With classes over Kage walked to the library. He checked out the books he needed and began the walk back to the dorm, so he could on the project. But before he could make it far he was stopped by one of his friends.

Naota woke up at the terrible sight of light coming from his window. He closed the curtains the night before, and the only person who would do that was either his mother or brother. Of course. The night before, he was tired from reading one of the books he just got, which he actually finished. Despite his threatening look and behavior towards most people, well... everyone had to have a hobby, isn't that right?

He got up tiredly, his eyes half closed and his clothes and hair messy. In fact, he didn't even change out of his clothes from the day before since the first thing he did was read, and then read some more until he fell asleep eventually.

He didn't care about changing into better and more suited clothes though, since he was too lazy. Then, suddenly, someone came to the doorway; his brother, "Naota, you got up later than usual."

"Because I was reading..." He yawned tiredly.

"You don't wake up at 2:15, do you? And it's actually 2:15 in the evening actually, not in the morning." His brother shrugged, "But whatever you say then..." He quickly rushed back down the stairs, knowing the big deal his older brother would make.

But since Naota was still tired, it took him a little while to process until his family was downstairs when he seemed to have shouted, "2:15! Are you joking me! I thought you two were supposed to wake me up! Especially you, moron! Thanks to you I missed my first day! Bastard!" He growled in hostile way. And that is how the double sided young man missed his first day of college, like he did the year before.

Though, Naota couldn't say he really cared, since he really didn't, only for his mother and brother. When he went downstairs, better looking than he was before now, he said his greeting to his family, especially his mother who was ill and sitting tiredly in a rocking chair and had a mask around her mouth, "Morning- Eh, Afternoon, Mom." Naota said, stopping himself after noticing the actual time. His voice, unlike usual towards his friends, stranger, and sometimes his brother, he spoke in a gentle tone to the sick woman.

"You woke up quite late today. Did you not sleep well?" She asked, putting down the book in her own hand. Apparently, reading ran in the family somehow.

"Nothing's wrong." He answered honestly, "I was just staying up and reading a book. It was a good one, I recommend it." Naota said quietly, taking a small piece of bread outside of the pantry and placing it into his mouth. He found himself a bit of a pain to handle, so he usually spent a lot of time away from his family, only to be seen in the morning, then at night and in a repeating cycle. Yet somehow, the three were very close, "I'll be back later, a little earlier than usual since I'm quitting one of my part time jobs. See ya." He waved before closing the door behind him.

Naota had quite a lot of jobs, some which he had in famous articles, and some which were useless and too much work for such little pay. One of them was a photographer, which he only had twice a month, another was a cashier, then there was a beta tester sort of thing, and a whole bunch more that he was going to stick with, and dump when the time would come.

The one he was headed for next was actually the photography one, but he didn't have to go anywhere for that. All he had to do was take pictures of either interesting people, new places, or pretty scenery that someone may be interested in. That's why he kept a camera of his hanging around his neck; so he could do his job.

He took a picture of a small river he came across, since his walks nearly lasted for hours and he'd usually have to get directions to find his way back, a few people with their permission of course, and then he came upon a sort of... cafe? No... it wasn't a cafe. A bakery, "Odd." He thought to himself while he stared at it, the name being 'Heart Sweets bakery,' 'I don't remember seeing this, and no one told me of this news? The hell is with that...' He wondered, and took a picture of it, not really caring to ask.

But what did catch his attention was that it was a bakery. Not for his job though, just him, himself. Naota, although he hated admitting it, had a love for sweets. To be right in front of one that just opened... it was painful to hold himself back from going inside. All he did was stare at the shop, trying to decide whether or not to go inside, or just wait until his friends would join him so he wasn't going to embarrass himself by being alone.

Haruhi woke up with a smile in her face as she remembered the promise that her parents made with her not so long ago. Haruhi had made a promise that once she had became a famous baker, they would allow her to take care of her deceased grandmother's bakery shop. Of course, Haruhi's dream was that of being an owner of a prestigious baking shop in which she could sell delicious sweets and pastries that could warm people's hearts as much as they warmed hers.

She remembered her granny and imagined her voice, telling her to cheer up. 'You're right nanny! I can't give up'. She had been applying to several baking shops, however many of them were not even hiring and the ones that were, had not contacted her back. She couldn't work at her grandma's shop as that could be considered cheating on her parent's eyes.

Instead of giving too much thought into things, she started getting ready and once she was done, she looked over her shoulder to see if her roommate had woken up. To her surprise, her friend had woken up early even though, like herself, she didn't have any classes for the day. She looked a bit sleepy as she was rubbing her eyes, "Haru-chan, are you going out again?" she finally asked after yawning.

Haruhi nodded with a big smile, "good morning Yuki" she said cheerfully, "Yes, I am sure today I will definitely find a job!". Her friend simply nodded in return, "I see..." she said almost in a whisper before burying her head on her pillow once again.

Haruhi grabbed her purse and was on her way to a new place that she had recently heard about. Before she arrived though, she sent a text to her friends, who like her where looking for a job, hoping that they could meet with her on the shop she had heard from a friend.

"Good morning everyone, I am already on my way. I'll be there in a couple minutes!

Once she arrived she saw the bakery,'Hearts Sweets Bakery' she repeated as she read the bakery's name, 'I like it already~!' she thought positively. She was even at higher spirits once she saw a sign that clearly said "3 New job positions available! please speak to shop owner if interested". A wide smile drew on Haruhi's face as she jumped pulling her arms to the air, 'I knew it~ today's the day' she thought victoriously. She was about to enter when she noticed she was not the only one starring at the sign, or at the shop for the same matter.

She couldn't quite recognize him once she saw him for the first time, however after starring at him for a few seconds a little bell went off in her mind, 'Hamada-san?' she had seen him before no doubt, they had talked a few times and they had classes together. However, a strange feeling made her feel that they were not in a close relationship enough to be called exactly friends, seeing how he was cold and indifferent most of times, even when she did consider him as one. She didn't know if he had also noticed her, even so she gave him a friendly smile as she had always done when she saw him. She gave a small bow, but not wanting to overdo things she entered the shop.

Once she entered she came across her friends who were already in the shop. She smiled at both and nodded her head in agreement. She came closer and smiled as she noticed a young girl and an older man that seemed to be the owner of the shop. Haruhi immediately bowed respectfully and smiled. Meanwhile the girl with the short hair, "Welco-..Welcome to Hearts Sweets-bakery.." the girl said before he also bowed respectfully. Upon seeing her up close, Haruhi realized it was no other than one of her classmates, she was always so quiet and reserved. Haruhi smiled at her seeing how she sounded a bit shy.

She bowed again and gave another smile as she said, "good afternoon, my name is Haruhi Kotsune." Before she continued, she starred at her friends as they came closer. "and these are my friends" she continued before locking her arms around them."We were hoping to apply for the new job positions" she finally said a bit nervously,not being able to contain her excitement, yet full of energy.

The buzz of the alarm clock resounded around the dorm room, Suzume just grumbled in her sleep and pulled the blanket over her head.

"Hey Suzume.. wake uuuuup.... Turn off the alarm!"

Suzume shot straight up and glared the bed just across the room from hers, Hitomi her roommate was glaring right back at her. Suzume reached over and slammed her hand down on the alarm clock the sound finally quieted.

"You know I was having a pretty good dream till someone decided to yell at the top of their lungs.", Suzume said with a slight growl.

Hitomi rolled her eyes, "Then someone needs to wake up when her alarm goes of instead of letting it blare for an hour. Some of us don't have to be up at the butt crack of dawn for a stupid painting class. Or you could at least have the decency to Hit the Snooze Button!"

Hitomi rolled over with a huff facing away from Suzume, all Suzume could was roll out of bed and start getting ready. As soon as she could she left the dorms and headed for her morning class. She was already in a bad mood thanks to Hitomi so it seemed like everyone she bumped into along the way only made her temper rise even more. And once she got to class she realized she had left her art supplies back at the dorm room, the day was ruined and everything just kept getting worse and worse. Her first day of college and it was ruined, when she left her class all she did is grumble it was a few hours till her next class so she decided that she had to find something to cheer herself up or the next person to get on her bad side was gonna get an ear full.

She was walking by when she noticed the bakery, it had just opened up and the cakes and sweets in the window were calling her name. A slight grumble erupted from her stomach, that made Suzume reach down and put her hand on her stomach. Making her realize she hadn't gotten the chance to eat breakfast that morning.

"Maybe a bite to eat will help with this bad mood", a slight smile formed on her lips.

Suzume pushed open the door to the bakery, the small bell on the door jingled as she stepped in. She noticed a few people from the campus talking to an older guy and another girl in an apron. She shrugged it off and sat down in one of the booths.

The sun shone through the windows of the small apartment, sending beams of light in almost every direction. They illuminated open books and scrawled notes that were littered all over a large table. The beams of light also took the opportunity to shine in the eyes of the man who lay in bed not far off from the table. His eyes scrunched in an effort to block out the orange glow but to no avail.

He groaned loudly and then stretched and sat up. He opened his eyes and was blinded by yet another beam. He swore loudly and grumpily and shoved himself up from the bed and went to the culprit window and in a most violent action he slammed the curtain closed. Happier now that the apartment was dim he turned around and went to look for his glasses. Once he found them he pushed them up his nose and then went about getting a shower and getting dressed.

He dressed nicer than usual and even pulled out one of his favorite ties. He was hoping for a job today, as nice as it was to devote all his time to studies Steven Tyrell needed money. He and a few of his schoolmates had spotted the sign up for a bakery, and though that seemed like a demeaning job, he was going to take what he could. The plan was to meet up there near opening.

After a quick once over in the mirror Steven deemed himself worthy of an interview. He had chosen a nice white shirt and black dress pants. His hair however was a different story, it was larger in almost every direction and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He had come to accept this by now and with a quick sigh he left his apartment and found himself walking to the Bakery.

He met up with the others at the bakery and Kotsune san and Hamada-san were already there. Kotsune bowed a cute little bow and he raised a brow at her formality. When they went inside she did the talking for them and he tried his very best to appear interested in the job. Everything here was so...happy. His nose wrinkled at the thought and he wondered if he could survive at a job like this.

When the time came to introduce himself, Steven cleared his throat and said "My name is Steven Tyrell, nice to meet you." He thought of complimenting the store but he honestly couldn't think of anything, so instead he stood quietly and focused on getting a job.

Then suddenly it hit him the girl they were talking to was from one of his classes at the university, he couldn't stop the raising brow and he supposed he had never thought of the quiet girl as a baker. He shrugged off the thought and then supposed that since they knew each other this might help them get a job easier. The gears in his head were turning and he wondered how he might use it to his advantage.

Kamiko kept pacing in her thoughts. She kept thinking the same though over and over "should...should I..say something?! what should I say?! I know the guy with the glasses recognized me!" because she caught a glance at him raising his eyebrow at her.

Kamiko grew more and more anxious by the minute and felt everything caving in on her. She kept pressuring herself to say something, she felt rude and un-professional for not saying anything, finally she took in a small, shaky breath and said "I-...I know you glasses-kun!..........". The bakery grew silent "he-.......EH!...IM SORRY THAT CAME OUT WRONG! S-SORRY!!" she bowed twice and looked down at the floor once again with a scraggly smile on her face and her eyebrow kept twitching and she was blushing uncontrollably.

she felt ridiculous and utterly embarrassed, she didn't know his name, So she blurted that out of anxiousness.
she felt her heart drop and she started trembling, she felt a lump in her throat and her eyes were getting watery.."Stop...stop it, Kamiko..stop being such an idiot.." She covered her eyes with her arm and excused herself and ran into the back of the bakery into the staff lounge and cried.

It was just wrong to wake up just like that. Mara rubbed her eyes and looked around. She was alone. Well, actually it was not something she should wondering about because in her dorm room she had not a roomate yet, but she was still quite angry. Where is the bird melody that wake her up? Her mornings should be like that in the picture books! And then, and then... suddenly she got up off her bed to the window and opened it wide. Yes, she wanted a warm breeze to come and greet her... then birds coming and placed themselves on her hand. "Come..." She muttered, but something else already came flying... a leaf, right into her face. If you ask whether it was pleasant or not... yes, it was indeed unpleasant. And Mara was definitely not in a good mood after that.

Though she is always so expressionless, a frown showed on her face as she locked the window again. What did she lack? Charisma? Beauty? Why didn't just one bird wanted to come and sing for her? It's not like Mara had bad intentions... She sighed and looked outside, how without opening the window. The sun already was in the highest place. It was already so late. Mara stared at the sun, as someone announced something - her stomache wanted to eat. And she should go - now - before it hurts even more. She looked around, as if searching something in the dorm room where she just entered. She didn't done with unpacking yet. It was still too soon for that.- or well, she was too lazy for it too.

Her eyes fell on the magazine on the table. A colorful magazine. And she definitely didn't buy it because she wanted to cook - she wanted someone to cook for her. So she labelled a particular page with an advertisement for a bakery. "Hearts Sweets Bakery... Cute name..." She had muttered that time. Now she was back smiling, grabbing the magazine and searched for the page again - wanting to know where exactly the bakery is. After one second staring at it, she put on some outside clothes, without even combing her hair and walked outside... without even considering that she, even though she knew the adress, doesn't know where to find the street. That's why she just stood there and looked around, placing her hand on the stomache. "Hungry..."

She said walking around the town - definitely lost the right way.

Hmm... How beautiful life is, right Shone? Shone had woke up very early preparing everything, baking everything and smiling on his whole face. Exceptionally there, his smile was not forced. He had learned to love baking and the whole bakery from his uncle. It was a delight to see his skillful hands preparing new and fresh sweets and breads for the coming day. Shone Tsugu was someone who didn't believed in miracles or destiny, but he had a good feeling that day. Him searching for 3 employees was true. Not like he lacks them, he just wanted more company. Him being alone at his apartement just above the bakery and already being left by people that meant something for him... he had been very lonely. It was just logically for him to seek company?

But not just that, People liked to see young females and young males serving sweets for them. Maybe like that, they feel even more near to them? He didn't know, but if he served, it would just be a bother. He disliked to fakely smile, even to customer. So he just bake everything in the morning, and the rest will be done by his little employees. He had quite the smirk on his face. Somehow he had an unusual hunch that he'll get much company today.

It was then when Kamiko came inside. Although she was definitely not the kid who can be friends with anyone in seconds, she was a nice kid, and did her best. Shone respected it and smiled as she then immediately started to work. He wanted to greet her walking outside the kitchen, as suddenly a cute kid in company with others came inside. It surprised Shone quite a bit, but he liked the sudden surprise. It was a delight to see that many people wanted to work here. Suddenly Kamiko went back - crying. Embarrassement? She shouldn't be like that. Shone was very worried about her, so he just came to the friends who wanted to work, put out the menu and a notice block and offered them to the bunch who wanted to work. "Nice to meet you. My Name is Shone Tsugu, you may call me just Shone, and I own this bakery. How about trying it out before you decide to take the job?" He threw the attention back to the menu and the notice block he had on his hand and smiled. "So... Who wants to serve and who helps me in the kitchen?" He asked seeing a customer already there. "Don't let a customer waiting for you..." Smiling, he placed the menu and the notice block on the table just beside them and signed one to follow him. "I want one of you to come with me too - searching for the cute girl from before. It seems like she is feeling shy. But it will be gone for sure if she saw how nice you all are and there is nothing to be shy about."

Indeed, he wanted her to be more open. Because those bunch of friends didn't seem to be bad persons. So why is she so shy? In his whole 'Carrier' as a baker, he never saw such a shy girl before. But maybe it was amusement that was shown on Shone's face. He liked that kind of diversion. It would be boring if the day was just the same right? So he just went off to the direction Kamiko disappeared to - leaving the decision to those bunch of college students.

Kamiko was trying to calm down and stop the tears, wiping them away. She was now pacing a new thought in her head "stupid,stupid,stupid,STUPIIIID!!! I HAVE to say sorry! but..how will I confront everyone..my...eyes" she looks into a mirror to her left hanging on the wall across from a small shelf whilst rubbing her nose.

She walked out of the lounge quietly towards the bathroom to wash her face and calm down "I think that guy was in one of my classes...and so were the other two....but.. I see him more since he sits 2 rows in front of me in class.. and the other two are..on the complete opposite side of the class.. "S-so...intimidating" she shivers.

She finishes washing her face, turns the sink off, and looks into the mirror. Water dribbling down her chin and droplets of water sliding down strands of hair from her bangs, she dry's off her face with a paper towel. She pushes open the bathroom door and takes a deep breath and fixes her apron. She see's Shone coming her way.

Suzume began to tap her fingers on the table at the booth she was sitting at, she was trying not to look impatient but she was getting kind of hungry. She watched the conversation unfold and apparently the three people she knew from school were trying to get a job at the bakery who was hiring. Just then she noticed one of the girls that obviously worked there her face grew red and then she walked away.

"Gee some service", she mumbled under her breath.

She noticed the older guy who Suzume assumed owned the place, she thought maybe he had noticed her and was going to ask her what she would like. Her mind started to reel with what she would choose.... then she watched to her dismay as the guy just turned and went in the same direction as the girl in the apron had. Suzume crossed her arms on her chest in a huff, what kind of place was this anyway.

Steven frowned as the girl ran of, clearly flustered and down about something. Sure she had called him Glasses-kun... but then again there was nothing wrong with that statement. He did have glasses. He slipped his fingers into his pocket and decided that perhaps that was a person he should avoid as he seemed to make her cry. He had not time for tears and quite frankly he was bothered by them, he didn't like people who could cry at the drop of a hat and decided then he would have minimal contact with the girl if he could help it. Who know's he might say something around her and as usual offend and then the waterworks would begin again.

Steven was used to offending people, it was something he did on a regular basis, but then again all he did was speak his mind. Brutally honest, thats how Steven liked it.


The owner presented and introduced himself, it appeared that there would be no interview but rather a trail basis. Steven let his hands slip out of his pockets and he rolled up his nice white sleeves and pondered what he should volunteer to be. He didn't want to deal with that girl in fear of her tears but this was his best shirt and working in the back would probably ruin it. He had spent a pretty penny on this and now that things were tight again with money, one had to really care for their clothes. "I shall be a server." He didn't bother to ask what anyone else wanted, as it didn't occur to him.

"I'm already dressed for it so I might as well." He folded his arms as if that were that and then looked at his class mates expectantly. " I guess you better go see what that girl is crying about Kotsune-kun, you are the nicest of us, personally I wouldn't bother with her. There is a business to run." He said. "It's every man for himself in this world." He reflected on that saying and thought perhaps it was a tad extreme for a bakery.

Haruhi didn't notice when Steven had accidentally bumped with Kamiko. However, she did notice when Kamiko left suddenly embarrassed. She was a bit concerened, 'did something happen? I wonder what's wrong...' her mind wandered for a bit before she heard a male voice addressing her now. It was the older male that seemed to be the owner, her suspicion was cleared when he clarified, "Nice to meet you. My Name is Shone Tsugu, you may call me just Shone, and I own this bakery. How about trying it out before you decide to take the job?" Haruhi smiled a bit and nodded in agreement. She heard the bell at the door ring as costumers arrived but didn't turn around to face them as she was completely determinate on getting the job, waiting for Shone's instructions she listened attentively as he spoke again.

"So... Who wants to serve and who helps me in the kitchen?" he finally asked. Haruhi without second thoughts wanted to help in the kitchen, baking was what she was most passionate about after all, however she was having second thoughts as she wasn't sure if her friends were too comfortable in serving costumers yet. "Don't let a customer waiting for you..." he said after seeing a costumer was already waiting to order, seeming a bit impatient tapping her fingers on the table, 'wait... is that?... Suzume-san?' she pointed out remembering she was also a classmate. Shone pointed out the menus waiting for either of them to make a move and to start serving the costumers.

Shone expressed his concern for Kamiko, not wanting for her to not be uncomfortable around the new group, and after saying he needed someone from the group to come with him he left heading towards the direction where Kamiko had ran off to. He left the group waiting for them to decide what to do. Haruhi without second thoughts wanted to help Kamiko, not only because they were to work together, but because she was truly concerned for her. Even if they hadn't talked much before, Haruhi knew she was a nice person deep inside and wanted to get to know her better, and why not? even become good friends.

"I shall be a server" said Steven unconcerned. He explained how he was most fitted for the position as he already had his attire ready, something Haruhi could not agree more with. However she was taken by surprise when he pointed out , "I guess you better go see what that girl is crying about Kotsune-kun, you are the nicest of us, personally I wouldn't bother with her. There is a business to run." he said a bit coldly. Haruhi nodded with a small smile, strangely she had grown used to his cold demeanor which is why she was a bit surprised at his compliment.

"Hai!" she said in response and without doubting twice wanting to help Kamiko, "I'll help finding Kamiko-san" she finally said cheerfully before she excused herself from the group.
As soon as she headed towards the direction Kamiko had ran off to, she found her coming out from the bathroom door, her bangs a bit wet and she was fixing her apron. Haruhi didn't want to pressure her or to make her feel even more wary so instead she tried being friendly and smiled warmly.

"Miyuki-san?" she asked sympathetically. "Is everything ok?"

Haruhi waited for Kamiko's response, at the same time she wondered if her classmates were doing well. To add up, she wondered if Shone would set her back to take orders or whether if he would send her to the kitchen. Either way, she was just happy that she was given an opportunity to show her skills.

"ah!..y-yes! im fine!..." She said with a high pitched, surprised voice responding to Haruhi. She was pulling at her bangs trying to dry them, with her head tilted a bit downwards, there was a shadow casting below her bangs, covering her eyes. Her lips were pursed. She then said "im...im. she bows "T-..t..terriblysorryabouttheway I acted!" she said very fast while still bowing, and took in a breath of air. And she was nodding her head, in reply to what shone was saying/

She then rised. "so!...will you be working here from now on? with the other's?!.. she was fidgeting with her hands behind her back. "I-im looking forward to working with you all!!" she said looking down,eyes closed, with both her hands close to her sides in fists. She opened her eyes "The...the customer!!!" she remembered. She would have to show Haruhi around later, right now she had to help Suzume!

"Ah excuse me!" she said while bowing, and quickly walking over to Suzume to take her order.
she apologized for the lateness, Kamiko brought a menu In her hand, she set a glass cup on the table Suzume was seated at, and placed the menu in front of her. Miss, I will get you an appetizer free of charge for you wait, sorry for the inconvenience!".
Kamiko rushed to the back again to get the appetizer, a blueberry pie.

She got a fork and walked back towards suzume. she was walking a little too fast. She hit the corner of the counter that the cash register was on, She tripped and stumbled, she tried to catch her self. Crash She bumped into Steven, and the pie soiled his white shirt. Kamiko was on the floor, and she was rubbing her hip, her eyes were winced from the pain so she hadn't realized what had happen, except for the fact that she had fell down. Finally she looked up. Her eyes widened. She stared up at steven, her eyes were scattering across his, now blueberry pie stained shirt. Her eye's were watering up. Again.

What left was wandering around and not knowing where to go. She was so desperate that she even went back, grabbing the magazine and not considering to ask people. She knew that people tend to not really understanding her, may it because she always says something very slowly or because their brains doesn't cut with her. It was always a mystery how she can be so smart and even got a scolarship to the school. Nothing against Mara - but she is a dense person, a bit slow for social understanding. Though she do have friends. But unfortunately somehow they quickly lost interest on her, maybe because of her always same expression.

Actually she has many expression. The thing is, that she can't express herself. She is just too lazy for that - even for something small like that. She always takes something slowly. Though now, the problem was that her stomache is rawring, and with such a condition, she can't concentrate well. Somehow - yes, somehow - she managed to get into the right direction without herself knowing it. She was too lazy to ask people she doesn't know, in her experience they ask too much. Many are even so pushy asking for her phone number. That was something that Mara couldn't understand. Why would they ask something like that? But because she was too dense and slow what that kind of subject concerned, she just gave them the number of the dorm manager - not because she wanted to play pranks on those guys, only because she doesn't have a handphone. Simple. And like that she managed to go away.

Not really noticing that she was already right in front of the bakery, she recognised Naota Hamada. "From... the same... college..." She muttered seeing him. He was not a stranger, with that, he was someone that she could ask for help - so her logic. That's why she didn't look around anymore and went to him, tapping his shoulder from the side. "Hamada- san... you know... where I can... find this bakery?", she asked showing her magazine with her quiet, soft and slow voice like always as she noticed him staring somewhere. She followed his gaze and found herself - finally - in front of her goal. She smiled - what rarely happens - and pulled on his clothes. "Want to go... there... together...?", she said wondering, as then her stomache announced that it was really the time for her to finally give her stomache something so it will be busy. "See... I hope you come now...", she said pointing to her stomache and impatiently pulled on his clothes, a sign for him to hurry up.

Shone was glad that the 'megane- kun' as Kamiko said finally get what he meant and served the customer, who seems to grow impatient. That wasn't good for sure - but he didn't do anything. It seems that the 'megane- kun' is trustable and capable doing the job. That's a big plus point for him.

Now-- this cheery girl. What did he called her? 'Kotsune'? He wasn't sure, but he liked her already. Not a teasing material like Kamiko, but someone like her is always good being a server - she attract customer into this bakery. And only with that, Shone was indeed statisfied. But not only her - Kamiko did her best. She seems to have calmed down already and preparing to go back to work. She was a good kid.. but her shyness is really unbelievable. Though, Shone had to admit, it was amusement that he felt seeing her incredible over- reaction. "Miyuki-san? Is everything ok?" They knew each other? - That was not his first thought though as he heard Kotsune saying that. It was an urge to pat her head, and he did it, just out of reflex. She smiled to Kotsune as he patted her - his way saying 'thanks' and 'that was cute' as he turned to Kumiko with his usual kind smile.

"Does she seem any dangerous or unkind to you, Kamiko- san?" He asked as then he patted her aswell. "I am sure that you both will get along just fine, right, Kotsune- san, Kamiko- san?" As then he looked above, thinking for awhile. "How about... I'll treat you all by tasting one new creation of mine, as we will discuss about future plans? This will be interesting for you and your friends, Kotsune- san. I am sure that you'll be a good employee." He stated as then he smiled again to Kamiko and said: "Won't you show her the way to the kitchen? I am going to have to finish something first, then I'll come to you both. And don't forget Kamiko- san, smile!" But Kamiko already went, going for the customer. Shone could just smile. "Well then, I am leaving her in your care, Kotsune- san!" Leaving Kamiko into Katsune's care, not the other way around. He smiled as he went the stairs up to his apartement. He had to finish some troublesome paper work, that couldn't be left now.

Kotsune seemed to take kindly to his comment about her being the nicest and Steven wondered for a moment if perhaps she had taken it as a compliment. Either way, he supposed, it didn't matter. She nodded and went of to comfort the frail girl and he went and got a few menus and handed them out to a few people who walked into the bakery. He made sure they were comfortable and looked over at the group wondering who else he would be working with.

Secretly he hoped that Hamada-san would join him, he got along better with him than anyone else. He was walking along the counter back to his classmates he wanted to know who was going where, but as he was walking he noticed Kamiko rushing around holding something.

She was coming towards him and the next thing he knew he felt the cool press of blue berry filling against his stomach. There was a thump and Kamiko was on the ground, she had hurt herself in the fall, he could tell that plain and simple but what mattered to him more was his shirt.

He looked down at her clearly displeased about this and he frowned "I hope you'll pay for the dry cleaning." He spoke in a half growl. He didn't bend to see if she was alright and instead he looked at her and said "Excuse me... I need a sink." He stepped around her and went to the sink behind the counter and grabbed a cloth and began to dab away at his favourite shirt.

He at her still on the floor and sighed "Stop your crying and start cleaning up the mess you made." he wanted to say that she needed to man up but he thought it a bit silly considering her gender.

"Ah!..y-yes! im fine!..." Kamiko said surprised, however, Haruhi was even more surprised at her reaction.
"I'm...i'm...T-..t..terriblysorryabouttheway I acted!" she continued. Haruhi extremely fluttered bowed back,"aaahhh! no, I'm the one who's sorry! I didn't mean to intrude..." Suddenly, Shone patted Haruhi's back, in a way she felt he was saying 'thanks'. He gave a pat on Kamiko too, trying to give her some sort of comfort .

"I am sure that you both will get along just fine, right, Kotsune- san, Kamiko- san? Shone said with a smile. Without second thoughts Haruhi nodded her head in agreement. "How about... I'll treat you all by tasting one new creation of mine, as we will discuss about future plans? This will be interesting for you and your friends, Kotsune- san. I am sure that you'll be a good employee." Haruhi smiled wider as he gave her a compliment. She was even more excited when Shone told Kamiko to send her to the kitchen. "Well then, I am leaving her in your care, Kotsune- san!" Haruhi smiled but took the comment to heart, "Yes~! Of course! she said as Shone walked away towards the stairs.

As Kamiko headed inside she noticed Suzume still waiting for someone to take her order. Haruhi starred as the events took place, Kamiko headed towards Suzume with a blueberry pie,when she accidentally tripped staining Steve's shirt all over. Haruhi knew Steve was not one to talk sweetly and that he would definitely be rude about it. Once she fell Haruhi knew she was in pain.

"Stop your crying and start cleaning up the mess you made." he finally said as Kamiko was still in the floor beginning to tear up. Haruhi moved closer to Kamiko giving her a hand with a small compassionate smile that said, 'I'm sorry this happened". She waited for her to take her hand, but not knowing whether she would tear up again she tried comforting, "Please don't take it to heart, Steve was just upset. I can help you clean up and take her order, so don't worry too much about it. Ne?" she finally said with a kind smile.

Remembering how there were still costumer waiting, she waited until Kamiko got up. As soon as she did she quickly tried finding something she could use to clean up. With pain in her heart she threw what was left of the blueberry pie, 'I'm sorry Pie-Chan" she bid her farewells before throwing it in the trash can.

Luckily, she was able to find a few tissues and started cleaning some of the mess. When she was done, she grabbed another blueberry pie with a fork, and she headed towards Suzune. She bowed respectfully, "I'm sorry about that" she said sincerely. "Please accept this as our apology for making you wait" Haruhi said as she handed the pie over. "Please tell me when you are ready to order~!" she finally said with determination.

Kamiko was just about to apologize, but then Steven said "Stop your crying and start cleaning up the mess you made." Kamiko then looked away quickly, as Steven walked around her to clean himself off. She tried her best to choke back the tears, Kamiko heard a soft voice 'I'm sorry this happened". said Haruhi. But Kamiko couldn't hold them back, plip-- plip tears fell to the ground, she wiped them away and picked up the broken pieces of glass "Please don't take it to heart, Steve was just upset. I can help you clean up and take her order, so don't worry too much about it. Ne?" said Haruhi kindly, Kamiko nodded and said thank you to Haurhi with a sobby voice. she had a sort of, petrified looking expression on her face.

She began to pick up the pieces of glass, Haruhi was wiping away the splattered pie off with a rag off of the white and yellow tiled floor. the shards of glass were a little sharper than Kamiko had thought, she got little cuts on her fingers, she was still too shocked at what had happen that she didn't realize.

Then she got up to throw the glass away.
She got up a little too fast. She started wobbling, she felt as if she were going to faint. But she regained consciousness again and walked towards the back room, and disposed of the glass. She felt little stings on her finger, she looked at her fingers, and frowned. She walked over to a first aid box hanging on the wall. "I should just quit.. she thought, while putting the Band-Aids onto her fingers.

Kamiko rummaged through a box that had spare uniform shirts, the box said "Male Uniforms" she tried to imagine what Steven's size was, he was slender and thin. The shirts were a little too, baggy for someone with his kind of body figure. She found the smallest size, it was a light blue button up, collar shirt that had initials "HSB" on the right side of the shirt it stood for, Hearts -Sweets bakery. "...this should do" she said. She folded it and walked back towards the bakery with the shirt. She walked up to Steven, handing the shirt to him.

"I..hope..this is ok!.." she said looking at the shirt trying to avoid eye contact. Her hands were trembling a little, she was trying her best to hide her bandaged fingers so no one would question them. "You!..you can give me your shirt after you change! i'll dry clean it right away!" she said with a shaky voice.

Suzume smiled when she was finally handed the menu and started glance over the girl apologizing for the wait and offering a free appetizer for it.

"Thanks that would be nice" she then went back to looking at her menu.

It was then there was a complete snowball effect of events, Suzume watched it all unfold with her eye wide. She knew the girl had to be totally embarrassed and then got her finger's all cut up in the process. They guy that got pelted with blueberry pie was a little snippy about the whole thing even though it was obviously a completely horrible accident. Suzume set down her menu sighed and stood up she recognized the girl named Haruhi now they had sat together or lunch a couple of times. She stood up and bent down and started helping Haruhi, she was known for being a bit of hot heat but that didn't mean she was complete grump all the time. It was also obvious that the waitress was having a really bad day.

"Well it looked tasty even all over his shirt" she smiled then turned to the waitress. "And don't worry too much about it everyone has an off day"
