Introduction
You died. It might not have been your fault but it happened. So deal with it. The only thing which makes you different from the other humans is that, you didn’t accept your death. Which is why you’ve become what you have. Now there’s no turning back. No one wants to die, however some humans go to extreme lengths when they die to come back. Evil humans are sent to Hell, whilst the Good go to Heaven. But when a human is sent there with unfinished business on earth, they have another chance to come back. Of course there is a catch…Humans who come back from Hell are Vampires, whilst the ones who return from Heaven become Angels. No they’re not your traditional blood-sucking Vampires and the Angels don’t have wings or glowing halos. In fact both creatures are much more sinister and darker, hiding behind the cover of darkness and carrying out their duty for their new Father.
The Vampire took his last breaths, but keeping that same sadistic smile on his grey features, eyes burning like the very pits of Hell from which the creature crawled from. The fire would die out as eyes closed and the lifeless breath from his body ceased to exist. The last remaining Angel Kia watched the entire scene, weeping for the loss of the other Angels which had came into battle with her. The battle was fierce and caused much loss of life, but it was over. Dipping her hand in the blood Kia painted the symbol all Angels were supposed to know, the symbol of God, sending Alec to Heaven to receive a diving punishment. Little did she know that concealed in the shadows, another Vampire carved his own symbol into Alec’s blood just before the Angel did. Sending the Vampire… straight back to Hell.
After a long drawn out battle between the most feared Vampire; Alec was killed, dragging a few Angels along with him, leaving only one female Angel standing. She drew the symbol in the Vampire’s blood, sending him to Heaven, however where he really went to… was Hell, leaving the option of Satan’s favorite to return when the time comes. Vampires and Angels begin to flood New York City once again, massing together ready for the next war. Only problem is... humans are finally starting to cotton on to what is really going on. No longer will they stand idly by watching as families are slaughtered every night. Now they take action, sending out patrols every night to hunt down these insane creatures, not just the Vampires either.

Of course you won't be dying any time soon and some characters may survive to go onto the next RP (if we make one). But no character has full immunity to dying so be warned! Of course the death will be discussed in advanced and must be agreed upon by others. If a character dies or the RPer fails to respond without reason, a spot will be opened and the first person who wanted to reserve a spot but was unable will be informed and they may make a character. "How are my two favorite men in the city?" Narc asked, leaning back and wrapping her arms around Kai in preparation of the bike taking off. It wasn't exactly built for three people, but was more than strong enough. It was just a matter of space rather than strength, much to Lukas's delight. He loved his bike, after all. It was maybe the most precious thing he owned, and woe to the human (or, for that matter, vampire or angel) that touched it the wrong way. Lukas once fed a man to his own dog when the man had decided that he wanted to take a joyride on the bike. That was one incident even Narc had been impressed by, and that woman (vampire, technically) was near impossible to impress with violence. Thinking of Narc, she was acting a little strange, lately. More... What was the word... Close? Touchy? Lukas wasn't sure, but he didn't mind. It was nice for them to be close to each other, he supposed. After all, it wasn't like there were too many other chances for friends around the city. Humans weren't much fun, unless you killed them. Narc reached over and tapped Lukas's shoulder, the male looking back and raising an eyebrow.
"They're after you. A couple angels were looking for me, but didn't realize the sidewalk along my garage was bugged. They mentioned your name. You better be extra careful Lukas." Lukas nodded, knowing how he was (out of all of them) the least careful and therefor the most likely to die first. Not like they'd get anywhere close to him ('they' being the angels). Especially with his friends around. He was far too good for that. Still, he never had seen the point of being careful when killing humans. Just shoot them in the head, or, if you were in a bad mood, giving them a little pain. Either worked, after all. He went around and killed, and his gun wasn't exactly the most careful and quiet of all weapons. In fact, Lukas lived his entire life being loud and obnoxious. Just ask Kai, or Narc. But they tolerated him. The police and humans and angels? Not so much. His face was a mask as he spoke again.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me, worry about the poor humans who get in our way tonight," Lukas said, revving the engine. He didn't feel like talking about the angels hunting them, or the fact that they all had to kill humans every night to stay alive. No, he just wanted to live. Heh, he thought. Living like this... It's the only life for me. He gunned the engine, the roar of the motorcycle filling his ears as they drove off to wherever they wanted. For now they'd just cruise around, looking for anything interesting to stop by and see. Later they might walk around Central Park, or maybe Times Square. The big areas, where humans loved to be around. Times Square was especially fun, since the smell of humans was thick in every nook and cranny.
"Do you think we'll be able to find a nice target tonight?" Lukas asked over the wind running past them, and the engine purring underneath them. The ride was smooth, as always. While Lukas had, at first, been quite bad at driving with passengers, it had become second nature to him. It had to be, really, since Narc and Kai refused to simply run alongside his bike. After all, it was more fun this way. They got to enjoy each others company and move around the city together, as an actual group, instead of having to shout some meeting point and disappearing into the dark. Lukas supposed it was one way they were closer then your average group of vampires. That and the fact that they didn't really mind (too much) being in each others lives. It had become their own little thing, after all.

Ah! Poor little Alexis...perhaps she is still alive? Daddy's little girl with her little cute pink dress would have been working in the arms factories and live to be 78.
Least he hoped. How much he hoped for that...
They should have left Germany before it was too late but no. Their lives were in Germany. Their homes, money, jobs, and pride.
So much God damned denial.
Oh my brothers, he could feel her light kiss touch upon his cheeks one more, just at the mere thought of her. Such a happy moment, such a happy memory, to be ruined by that incessant spawn of evil.
“Walter, an unholy angel, nice meeting you, I’m Lucia, a vampire. Auf Wiedersehen.”
Or Lucia as she was called. An unholy angel Walter was quite, yes. Those few words awoke him back to reality, back to his reality, only waiting a few seconds as Lucia ran into the alleyway before Waltz began to make chase.
He sensed two other, three(?) more auras in the alleyway as well but to Walter it is always one at a time. Jazz music still blared from the depths of the stereo to the maximum voloume as Walter floored it, tires screeching for the briefest of time before the truck charged into the alleyway.
The headlights showed two individuals, Rin and Quince, but Walter didn't care for these two. He didn't even know if he ran over either, or even Taiga hiding in the shadows. Waltz remember's Rin though because she was the one that got away from his murdering clutches.
One at a time. One at a time my dear brothers.
The red, ford truck broke the chain link fence with ease and braked itself when it had reached the wall. Walter came rushing out with an open door and instantly went to the bloodied officers hanging by the diamond thread from his glove. While he mentally untied the officers of their restraints, he also grabbed the gun from the dead officer of the two, and curb stomped the live one with the soles of his shoes so he wouldn't be so...lively.
The handgun was heavy and Walter pocketed it in his dress pants and quickly climbed up the ladder for the fire escape.
"Holen Sie sich hierher zurück und sterben!" Walter shouted, going up the stairs of the fire escape, knowing the girl was far ahead of her, but she was still in his line of sight. A genius idea struck him on how he could trap this foul vampire. He kept running but now he had control of the thin dimond transarent threads on his left hand and raised all five of the threads up through the holes and spaces in between the metal that shaped the fire escape.
These threads would tie themselves in a tic-tac-toe pattern over the next metal stairs up the fire escape that Lucia would be trapped then would have no place to go except a window or dare she jump off?
Walter now had a handgun extended in his right hand aimed it up to Lucia and fired two powerfull bulets:
Bam! Bam!
but it was only to be ricocheted by the metal.
"Time to die Lucia!" He shouted, loosening his red tie for a moment and continued up the fire escape. After this little adventure Walter was sure to call the couple of private detectives he exploited for information on another lady and her sick little vamp-pack. Narc, her name was, last time Walter had recalled.
He'd have to call up his agents soon on the details.

“Vampires and angels are real,” She knew the words that were spurting out her mouth seemed like complete fiction but she was entirely dedicated to making this lady understand. There was a restricted feeling about the place; no windows and the door was far out of her reach now. She had to scrunch her eyes up a tad, the white walls made her head thump a little like a really bad hangover, it was unpleasant at the least. Due to the bright lighting that made this place feel even more fake, even more unsecure she became temporarily blinded.
“Kia, darling that’s ridiculous,” The lady’s shrill laugh cut through the air like a knife causing Kia to jolt her knees up under her chin bashing the bone together by accident, a surge of pain flowing through like electricity. At this point a prickling feeling of fear and distrust made her want to protest, “No such thing is able to exist...” The lady continued. That lady in Kia’s mind was stupid... the bitch would die at the hand of vampires if she didn’t understand... if she didn’t accept they existed but every time Kia opened her mouth she couldn’t hear her words; they wouldn’t form and leave her mind causing her to start to panic.
It continued like this for a much longer time then she expected. The walls started to close in more and as she panicked she started to blab everything out, still desperate to be believed. Kia started to hurriedly recount the past few months, Zeke... Alec... Kouta... the battle and the death. For as long as she could she steered clear of a topic she pushed further and further to the back of her mind.
“Is there any other fairytale you wish to tell me Kia?” Her tone was teasing, Taunting and malicious but at this point Kia had nothing more... nothing more then,
“Zeruel,” A large flurry of emotions hit her at the same time; the hate for leaving her alone in a cruel world, the joy of watching him laugh at her and worry when she fell too far, the passion behind each of their last words as they slowly slipped away from each other and finally the love of someone who finally didn’t mind that she was a murder to survive... someone who understood about the monsters and the nightmares.
Kia had backed herself into a firm retreat in the corner tears flowing. The lady from across the room blocked her exit and stuffy cries and screams came from Kia’s lips. She refused to listen anymore but the lady still told her still told her what she started to believe even now.
“Kia,” She pressed a cold hand to her face making Kia squirm under her grip as her other grabbed her wrist, “All of what you told me... and Zeruel are all a part of your imagination... none of it is real,” Kia flopped against the wall in understanding giving a confirming nod. The young girl had given up, she was ready to accept what she was told... “You’re very ill Kia... You’ve been ill for a while; a long, long time Kia and it’s time for you to finally let go of the world of Angels, Vampires and love... because Zereul was never real... he didn’t love you and Zeke can’t harm you.” Inside Kia started to try and root herself to this world, to the world where she was right now... She was weak here. Here amoung the lights with Tabitha... the red headed lady and her glassy eyes.
“Kia... Kia wake up...” The voice, the only one she would actually respond to... it had to be his. The voice of the dearly departed. Kia rolled over smiling and expecting to see his exotic blue eyes connect with hers but no one was there. She thought she could now feel arms wrap round her and lips press to her ear as she closed her eyes again, “I’m real... I’m real and don’t let your dreams make you believe otherwise,” She half hoped as she twisted around again that she’d now be face to face with him but again she was left yearning for more. The hallucinations were becoming a luxury, a comfort and it didn’t really help... it was dangerous. Looking at the red numbering on the digital clock she noticed she’d slipped into a deep sleep that had lasted a few days. Of course Zeke wouldn’t have realised but she sighed. Taking a peek outside she noticed it was getting darker. The sun disappearing scared her to the extent that her eyes widened largely. Her feet slowly met the ground and her toes caressed the carpet slightly. Kia also stored away the fact that she should get out tonight and fight of the weakness shadowing her. That sent a spark of dread through each bone individually. The shirt she’d stolen from Zeruel still reached her knees and she wandered around in it being careful not to disturb any of the other things in his room. Was Zeke awake though? Maybe not so she decided to venture outside...
Rubbing her eyes with the mucky sleeves she stumbled through the oh-so-familiar house but didn’t quite recognise the setting. As she passed the desk she turned the happy picture of Zeke and Zeruel face down so that the eyes didn’t bore into her... It creeped her out slightly and made her feel guilty for never making him feel that happy that he’d go out on a trip with her. She knew Zeke would turn it back up to piss her off again. He did that and it drove her insane.
In the bathroom she carefully soaked her face in the cold water biting her lip to submit the squeal back down her throat. Kia was careful not to glance into any reflective surfaces and before she knew it she was eye to eye with an animal. Her hair hadn’t been brushed down lately and she suffered alot of morning hair as she had tossed and turned. The pink was a bit more faded now and she noticed how unruly and long it was getting. Those eyes, she barely recognised them but yet again they were hers... the dead green wild and feral. She jokingly snarled but it made her feel funny so she attempted a laugh but it all felt forced onto her face. Kia wondered if she was if and if the pale complexion was something to worry about but she pushed it aside for now as she didn’t seem to care as Zeke neither cared nor commented on her appearance. But tonight was the night. She was going out... But she didn’t want Zeke to know.
Feeling braver then normal she took up her normal postion sitting by the door. Waiting. She’d wait all of time for Zeruel. He wasn’t dead she just felt it. He was always by her telling her to move on and to live her life. She smiled a little at the thought and then curled up tighter and tighter keeping herself warm. Zeke stumbled out some time after and started to get ready to go hunting. She didn’t know why but before he left he said something along the lines of,
"Kia I'm going out for a drink." She didn’t understand why he said that she knew he was going out to kill and she knew he didn’t ask her because she’s wierd and the enemy... She sighed a little and as he left got up running a brush through her hair and yawning. She’d put on that Little black dress she’d put in Zeke’s wardrobe a few weeks back because tonight was one of those nights where she’d need some form of womanly charm. She was scrubbing up and didn’t do a bad job of it as she started to clip on the heels. She hated dressing up it just didn’t feel right but she did have a plan. She’d sometimes thought it might just be easier to commit suicide but she remembered that Zeruel had told her to live on... so she was trying and in that time she would play up... she was no longer ‘Gods’ Angel... No way...
Tonight she’d show Zeke she wasn’t lifeless and she wasn’t just a useless little pet that sat in the corner. She laughed and remembered the famous line from Dirty Dancing... “No one puts baby in the corner,” She murmured as she took a less confident step outside the apartment.
Outside was cold. Harmfully so... she tried to warm herself up a little and worried that she hadn’t felt the change go over her but in one of the shop windows she noticed her eyes had brightened slightly and she laughed. Not a real laugh another one of those caught-in-your-throat forced laughs. She knew she’d be tired soon so headed straight into an alley and caught a glance of a shining smile. This one had waited.
She hadn’t had to pursue the vampire. It had found her. Sometimes that happened. They’d sense her in the apartment and wait. This made her job a little easier as she didn’t think she could actually chase anyone anywhere in these shoes.
“Morning sleepy head...” The man leered like an ugly pug and she smiled sweetly trying to get a good idea of what to do... She didn’t want to use her gun it was just too quick... That was the sickening part she wanted to play tonight she wanted God to see how much he’d hurt her. She stepped closer and bit her lip trying to force some sex-appeal out into this alley but she wasn’t sure if it made her look sexy or just constipated. Apparently it was the former as the man took a step forward and tried to lean his lips on hers. Now one thing is for sure. Kia was not out to get laid or touched anywhere she felt was inappropriate, some vampire making creepy moves was just a little bit too frisky. She’ll admit she was the one who wanted to play but she’d misjudged her emotions.
Slinking back into a corner she grabbed at something and swung. A baseball mini league swing. She felt the crack and the howl as it echoed in her empty mind. The man fell like a dead tree the weight falling to the floor casing dust to scatter a million ways as blood dripped from a wound on his head. It wasn’t enough. Her knees scraped the floor her own blood joining the gravel and she groaned a little. Her hair was falling out of its loose bun and started to look like it was all falling out of the bun at the same time. Her fingers had sharp enough nails and she plunged them straight into the eyes sockets the body flinching violently. She began to straddle the vampires large body while scooping out every sickening bit of the gloopy mess that had used to be eyes that peered into windows and killed the innocent. Her thighs tightened round him and she didn’t stop with the eyes. Her blood boiled and seeing something vile being brought to justice made her heart skip merrily. Her fingers pulled at the lips that had managed to get one viscous kiss from her and made a lunge at a shard of glass. A splatter on her face later and she’d started to rip the lips off. The blood was now pooling and she was starting to get soaked. She wondered desperately why she hadn’t been out earlier as she found more things to do to the body. She carved many, many different letters and symbols in close to the bone and let the smell of dead flesh start to follow her gaining a thrill from just mauling the body to pieces. After revealing bone and getting the tips of her hair stained she sighed. It was over... all over... unless....
“Kia... stop... you’ve done enough.. stop!” She tried to push Zeruel’s voice away and then smiled knowingly....
20 minutes later. A small bodied girl dragged. She dragged and dragged and dragged. Upstairs and past doors she dragged, a pure red road following behind her. A key turned in a door and she dragged past the threshold leaving the body all mangled and broken on the middle of the floor for the vampire to see when he got home. But was it enough... Yes. She was satisfied for tonight at least considering she’d collapsed soon after on top of the body her hands and body completely soaked in crimson paint.
The cat had pulled in a mouse.

Rin could sense the aura following her, what a mistake who ever it was had made. She wasn't a target, she made the targets and they would soon find this out. The angel or even vampire had just made a mistake and would pay with there very life. She took lefts and rights down the ally way sticking to shadows anything to get an advantage when they decided to strike.
As she turned down a particularly dark ally to happened. The figure jumped in front of her and in an instant her axe was at his throat and his fans at hers. her gaze shifted downwards to look at her attackers face, it had a look of confusion yet it seemed so familiar. Her eyes widened as it hit her, her eyes locking onto the necklace around the boys neck. "Quincey." She mumbled taking a step back and dropping her axe to the concrete. Her hand met his slapping the fans out of his hands and to the ground next to her axe. "You little bastard." She said looking up with a smile and pulling him into a hug. " Daisuki." She said quietly before getting a devious smile. "You scared the ever loving shit out of me! I'll make you pay for that!" She said playfully pulling him into a head lock and messing up his hair with her hand.
Then a girl with an aura ran by them, Rin didn't think to much of it at first but then there were lights on them. "She was running from someone." She said throwing herself and Quincey against the wall, narrowly avoiding being ran over by a truck. *They are chasing her with a fucking truck?!* She thought for a moment trying to regain her composure after almost losing her son again. *How many other auras did i miss?* She thought closing her eyes and felling another trying to be stealthy and get the drop on them.
She kicked her axe into her hands and through it into the shadows, there was no scream or thump so it must have missed its target. It didn't matter she had no intentions to kill, only to send a message to who ever it was. A message that said "I am not to be fucked with." "Quincey. Lets get out of here before anymore freaks show up." and with that she started to drag her son down the street and towards her apartment.
Ricci Gallo
Ricci crawled out of the ditch he had fallen into and found himself in the park. He scoured the place quickly looking for water to stop the burning in this eyes. Through burning stinging eyes he saw a fountain in the distance, running over to it, and dunking his entire head into it in a desperate attempt to make his eyes stop there burning and stinging. "Thank god that worked." He said pulling his up out of the water and brushing the dirt off his suit. He looked over to see a rather attractive girl with a sword coming his way at a fast pace. "Hey baby! Coming my way?" he said as she thrust the sword at him barely missing him. His hand came around grabbing her wrist and forcing the sword out of it and onto the ground with a loud clank.
"So you want to dance!" Ricci smiled placing his fingers in her free hand as he started to waltz around the fountain with the vampire girl. "You really are beautiful if it wasn't for all the blood you know." He said with a careless smile. "Let go of me you piece of shit!" The girl yelled then attempted to bite him in the face, which he easily avoided. "Now, now. I dont kiss untill AFTER the first date." He said teasingly. "Why dont we go get some dinner? I know a nice place where the candle light and pasta is just ri--" He was cut off by her laughter. "Me go out with you?!" She laughed. "You must be out of your mind! Your a filthy angel and a ugly one at that." She said coldly.
Ricci looked at her slightly shocked for a moment. "So I take that as a maybe?" He asked putting on his best smile only to have the girl spit in his face. "Let me make this clear." She said as he spun her out away from her, his hand still holding one of hers. "I would rather be dead again then go out with a creep like you!" The girl yelled. Just a few seconds later there was a flash from behind the girl making her turn around to see a gun in his free hand and a cold look in his eyes. "Pity." He said as the gun fired into her knee separating her lower leg from her body. The girl let out a scream as she landed face first into the dirt, trying to crawl away only to have his foot placed on her back.
The girl looked up at him in pain, tears rolling down her face. *Was she hopping for mercy? Pity? It mattered not for she would find none here.* He thought as his finger hit the trigger again, and again each time more blood covering him. The loud booming of the gun finally stopped and was replaced with a clicking sound, the sound bringing him back to his senses and making the look of pure hatred leave his face. He looked down at what was left of the girls head with a blank stare. A few pieces of bone, some brain, what looked like it may have once been an eye. "Its a shame. You were once so beautiful." He said coldly as he drew the symbol in the girls blood with the soul of his shoe. Her body turned to ash then blew away with the wind.
Ricci let out a small sigh looking at his white blood covered suit. "This will never come out." he groaned, throwing his gun into the air. A fine mist of dust came down onto his head from his once blood cover gun blade. "Well not much to do now but sleep. I guess I'll be sleeping alone tonight." He said with another groan. He turned around only to be met by a tree connecting with his face, leaving him huddled over in pain for a moment. He slowly got back onto his feet only to step on his shoe string and fall into the fountain, followed by an annoyed sigh.

"You think we could find some more to kill?" Lukas shot back at him. Kai just opted for squeezing him tighter, wishing it was his neck he was choking right now. We could kill you and that would be just fine! "What do you think Narc did this time?" Like he cared. She killed someone, idiot. Who cares how she did it? Only the twisted easily amused would care. Then again, he supposed, that would be Lukas alright. "I'd say she probably raped some poor soul, but the guy wouldn't care... So I guess it wouldn't be rape," Lukas rambled. Why are we still discussing this? he wondered, blocking the blond out until they reached their destination (to his unimaginable relief).
Kai was reluctant to pull his hands away from around Lukas's stomach, but when he opened his eyes and saw Narc standing there, he forced himself to relax. He popped Lukas over the head, ready to murder the suicidal jerk-face who must think of these ways to freak him out on a daily basis. "Well well, looks like I'm getting picked up by two..--" He blinked at Narc, then resisted a smirk as she added something--"one good looking guy, and his chauffeur." He nodded proudly and removed his arms so as to not look like a total dweeb around her. He was a vampire. He killed people. He's avoided death many times and experienced some of the worst things that would instantly traumatize a normal human. He didn't need to be known as the wimp who was too scared to ride on the back of a motorcycle going fifty. No, that wouldn't be too great for his reputation. "How are my two favorite men in the city?" Narc asked after messing with the two of them. Kai shrugged absently, allowing her to hug him, but feeling a little tense. Despite his earlier actions, physical contact wasn't his favorite thing in the world. He always got awkward or annoyed; but, seeing as this was Narc and not some random person, he allowed it and kept his mouth shut about it.
Unlike his two promiscuous pals--as they could be referred to as--Kai did not kill people through means of sexuality or lust. In fact, the very thought of it just bugged him. He preferred to kill people who ticked him off--that said, a lot of people ticked him off. The more someone got on his nerves, the harsher their kill would be. Sometimes it amused him, but most of the time, he'd be too angry to sit back and admire his work. He wasn't exactly known for his temper considering most of the time he remained bored and nonchalant, but he definitely had one.
"They're after you. A couple angels were looking for me, but didn't realize the sidewalk along my garage was bugged. They mentioned your name. You better be extra careful Lukas." Kai raised an eyebrow. So Lukas was in some sort of danger with the angels lurking about, huh? This was something that interested him. Despite all the things he could say or think or express, he would have to admit deep down somewhere where he'd never say it aloud, that he would help those two in a fight if it came down to it. Friends, acquaintances, partners--whatever they were to each other, the fact of the matter was that they were a group and they were together; and they were the only people in this city that could trust each other. It was something important. It was something he would very much like to keep.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me, worry about the poor humans who get in our way tonight," Lukas replied. A typical response, Kai noted. The engine gunned and they were off again. He resisted the urge to move his arms and instead kept them in his lap, glaring halfheartedly at the back of Lukas's head. Narc was here this time. It was even more dangerous to ride on a bike with two passengers and the driver, but he knew neither of them cared. "Do you think we'll be able to find a nice target tonight?" A nice target? Jeeze. He was hungry. He wanted to eat. Not human flesh or blood or any other stereotypical vampire fantasy crap like that. Food, as in something fried and delicious and preferably spicy as can be.
Reaching out to get Lukas's attention to let him know to stop somewhere to eat instead of dragging them along to find some ignorant victim, Kai paused at the sound of gun shots. He looked in the direction and leaned forward a little. "Sounds like something's happening," he said out loud, wondering what could be going on. He knew the only sort of action in this city was caused by vampires. The humans hated them, but they knew they would be bored with their common lives if they weren't here to cause chaos, rile up the angels, mess with the cops, and pick off a few humans here and there. He wondered if they would go check it out. He didn't particularly want to. Walking into danger wasn't exactly his style, though he was sure that he'd be able to handle himself despite any odds. Momentarily brushing off the faraway noises, Kai hit Lukas's shoulder and leaned in once again. "Don't think about it," he warned the blond with a tone that said if you go there, I'll personally leave you to get yourself killed. With that, his stomach growled and he frowned, sighing lightly to himself, getting bored with talking 'so much' in the last couple of minutes. "Also, I'm hungry."

"In all my years in Heaven i have never seen something like this, only one other angel has ever thought of, or been close to a vampire... and he died in a fight to the death months ago" he looked again and suddenly saw a truck try and run the pair over, luckily both the angel and vampire seemed to get out of the way in time. Though that was also when the vampire noticed Taiga. She threw an axe at him which barely missed by a hair, she was sending a message fo not wanting to be fought at the moment. Taiga sighed "sadly i can not furfill your request..."
What!? Did you see how close that axe got to us!? We follow that vampire and we might as well kiss out lives goodbye!
"I didn't say that we try and attack her, but honestly you are just as curious as i am to find out why that vampire knows that angel... besides her skills are very good if what i read in that book is right she might be someone useful to the angels"
And what book might that be? You always reference it when we have any free-time
"The book of the fight between the angels and vampires a couple of months ago, one of the people who died in that fight wrote that book before he went onto eternity, it lists all the people that he met and what he had experienced"
Fine i don't care, just don't get our asses killed otherwise i am throttling you when we get to heaven
"Heh" Taiga smirked, drawing his chain blades and aiming them up, shooting them so thay could be used as a sort of climbing system to get to the top of the building, he had to be secretive about this or die, then again he could always run if need be.

Lucia looked around for where to go, and noticed she had two options, jump, or… Lucia looked around more and spotting a window. “Window!” Lucia said as she jumped through, scaring some hoodlums, and them pulling out some weapons, and a pistol. “Whoa whoa, there’s a vampire out there, help me, don’t shoot me.” Lucia said, lying, but these people believed her and got up, waiting for whatever. Lucia hurried, but stopped for a second, taking off her heels. “Much better.” She then went down the stairs but through another fire escape and jumping to another alleyway, and making more turns and even going through a basement, thinking she would lose him.
As Lucia came out of the alleyway she looked back and didn’t see him. “Thank Saint Lucifer…” Lucia said as she looked down at her dress and seeing it was kind of dirty, but it looked like a design actually, she then sighed and put her heels back on and then began to walk, crossing the street and walking by a fountain. Then a smell hit her, and her senses. “Hmm, that is some pretty good cologne…” Lucia said looking around and noticing a young man. She didn’t sense any aura because the cologne kind of messed up her sense, it was the only thing in her mind and nose. Lucia walked by him, as she headed towards a club. “Nice smell there, I’m heading to the club over there, want to come” Lucia said as she began to walk off, not knowing this was an angel.

"Fine, fine. Be that way, mood-killer," he muttered. He didn't really mean it, though, but was just a little put out from being told off from potential action. After all, it had been three whole days since his last encounter with an angel... Still, food? What kind of food did Kai like? Oh yeah, spicy. And fried. Well, Lukas could work with that. "Any ideas?" He asked. Ok, maybe Lukas wasn't exactly your go-to guy when you asked about food. So what? Ok, maybe the vampire's idea of food was human flesh (or, failing that, Mc Donald's). And maybe he didn't know New York City like the back of his hand (which, admittedly, he didn't know all that well either). But there had to be a good place to eat somewhere, right? Hopefully somewhere close, Lukas thought, eyeing his gas meter somewhat warily.
"Make it close, or we're stopping for gas," Lukas added. They had enough to get them a couple miles, depending on traffic (and how crazy Lukas felt like driving), but not enough to cross the entire city. Hopefully there was somewhere close. Lukas thought about what kind of food he'd want. Like normal, anything edible was on the list. Edible and somewhat cheap. No, wait, I have that girl's credit card and cash, Lukas remembered. Huh. Guess it's going to get used tonight, one last time... With that thought, Lukas sped up a little to head into the greater part of the Big Apple.
The boy's eyes locked onto the glint of the axe his opponent held, she was fast indeed, able to have him in the same situation she was in. None of them moved for a moment, the boy merely staring up at his opponent's face, her eyes wandering down until they became set on the necklace around his neck, the feather and cross had ceased all movement by now and hung forward over the opening of his shirt, the stripped tie doing the same. "Quincey." his opponent mumbled the name, the boy allowing her to take a step back as her axe dropped to the floor in a loud clatter as the metal scraped across the concrete of the alleyway. A sound which wasn't the most appealing to ears. He put up no resistance, standing in a state of pure shock as both her hands hit against his, sending his own weapon along the floor. He glanced over to them, before his attention was brought straight upon the female. "You little bastard." Her face held the emotion of happiness, shown clearly in a smile as she pulled him into a hug. By now the boy was beginning to remember, the full memories flooding back with a single word. "Daisuki." He blinked for a moment, bringing his own arms up to wrap around the body of his mother's. "Okaasan" Quince mumbled without looking directly towards Rin, the phrase came natural to him as he was able to remember the languages he knew as a human.
"You scared the ever loving shit out of me! I'll make you pay for that!" Rin replied in a playful tone, grabbing the boy in a head lock and messing up his blue hair. Quince struggled for a bit, until a girl running by caught his attention. "Vampire...?" He questioned the female's identity, the boy would just accuse everyone with a different aura, a Vampire. Suddenly lights turned on and blinded them both, the source of them being unknown, however it quickly became clear as the sound of an engine fired up and without a moment to think Quince was thrown against a nearby wall by his own mother, narrowly escaping an on coming truck. The boy coughed from below the other until she got up and stood there with her eyes closed. He stumbled to his feet, using the wall to help him up, staring towards his mother with a confused face. "Okaasan?" He asked as she opened her eyes and kicked the axe into her hand, proceeding to throw it into the shadows. There was only the sound of it hitting against the pavement, thereby not hitting anything of great importance. Suddenly he felt it, another aura which was coming from the place the axe was thrown at. Subconsciously Quince began to move towards it, manifesting only one of his fans and posing it to throw.
Without a second to spare, he was grabbed by Rin and dragged reluctantly down the street, his heels digging into the ground and scraping along the pavement. "Okaasan!" Quince yelled out, demanding to be let go so he could go after the other aura, the shadows helping conceal the wings his back held, however it was obvious as the things weighed so much and dug into the back and arm of Rin. Then something caught the boy's attention, a small shine, the moonlight reflecting off something metal as it clung to the rooftops in front, or rather behind them. He clutched onto the fan tightly in his hand, staring up at the building as a faint silhouette of someone walking was on it. The boy struggled in his mother's grip until he came loose, running forward and quickly jumping in the air as another fan manifested in his other hand. The wings allowed a small period of flight, shining brightly in the dwindling moonlight before the boy landed only a few meters away from the other. "Prepare to die Vampire!" Quince yelled out, seemingly vanishing from sight and appearing only inches away from the Angel, swinging both of his arms to cut with his fans, suddenly they disappeared along with his wings in a state of glitter and tiny shiny particles.
The sun had risen.
He stood back from the other, looking around in confusion as to why his weapons disappeared. He blinked through narrowed eyes at the sight of the sun making its way over the horizon, sighing to himself in relief that the great weight had vanished from his shoulders and back. "You're lucky Vampire..." the boy mumbled, taking a further step back as he was now defenseless to any attack, continuing backwards until his foot almost slipped off of the roof, a piece of rock falling straight down to the concrete alleyways below. The boy glanced over his shoulder as he came to a halt, before turning around fully and looking straight down at the ground below, his mother only a few meters ahead, with no wings he wasn't entirely sure what to do. Cocking his head to the side he noticed a dustbin open at the bottom of alleyway below. Quince sighed to himself, glancing back at the Angel and backing up to the other end of the roof, stopping just before he would slip. Taking in a deep breath, he ran. Ran straight across the roof and kicked off from the edge in a large jump, large enough to make it most of the way across the gaps between the buildings, but not all of the way. He came falling down like a star for the second time in the night- day, however with no wings to protect him now.
With a small bang he fell straight into the bin and onto the soft bags of rubbish, thanking that he was able to make it so far across. Quince glanced up to see if the Angel was watching, before pulling himself out of the bins, brushing himself off with both of his hands, acting like nothing dangerous had just happened at all.

Eyeing the blond in front of him, Kai wondered if Lukas was tired yet or not. He would of asked, but he didn't see the point. If Lukas was tired, he would say he was tired and ready to go home, if not, they would probably just keep going on until he got that way. Kai didn't mind that much. He preferred lounging around by himself, but he got lonely, too. Hanging around someone for a few during the day wouldn't be that bad, he supposed. At least it was Lukas. As obnoxious as his ego could get sometimes, it was at least more tolerable than some of these other pathetic humans. Lukas was someone who had the rights to brag.
Sighing lightly to himself, Kai reached his arms around Lukas's waist so he wouldn't fall off and leaned his head against the blond's back, closing his eyes for a few minutes to keep himself from nodding off completely. What seemed like a second later, his eyes snapped open and he looked around, jolted awake by surprise. Oh... he thought, yawning and keeping his head against Lukas's back, eyes open now and a frown on his face. He wanted to go to sleep. He didn't want to do this while riding on the back of a motorcycle with a psycho driver in the middle of morning commute traffic. No, he didn't want to die today. Well, not again, anyway. Jeeze, this stuff was confusing. Groaning, he hit Lukas in his side, just because. Well, to get his attention, too, but still.
Hesitation as he lifted himself up to a proper, straightened sitting position, Kai leaned forward to speak to Lukas without having to yell over the wind. "Stop," he said, squeezing Lukas a little tighter to make sure he was paying attention to him. That reminded him of another thing he needed to ask. A favor. Crap. His frown deepened. He couldn't go back to that apartment complex after what he did last night. He didn't look exactly the same, but he didn't look that much different to where he'd be unrecognizable. That wasn't something he was really in the mood to deal with. He especially didn't feel like going around searching for a new place to stay in during the day. A hotel would be nice. If he had money. Did Lukas have money? Where was he staying? He hit the blond boy again, lightly--not nearly as hard as he could, that's for sure. "Nevermind," he added after a few minutes. He didn't say anything else after that, hoping Lukas would get the message.

Humans... They were a weird species, to put it simply. They all claimed to love peace and happiness and the well-being of themselves, then they'd go and start wars and kill each other over stuff in the ground. The only thing that was both in the ground and concerned Lukas was the number of bodies buried in a day. After all, there was always the chance that he caused most of those deaths. Humans are such strange things, Lukas thought as he saw two start arguing over a piece of trash one had thrown on the ground. Their actions really were hard to explain. After all, when it came to vampires and angels, you could explain things. A need to live, to kill. That much was simple. Humans? Not so much. Too much goes on in their minds, Lukas thought as he turned a corner onto a slightly less busy road and sped up. They need to calm down.
Lukas felt a jolt of surprise as Kai reached his arms around Lukas's waist, and actually leaned his head against Lukas's back. What was he doing? Was the world ending? First Narc being actually kind, then Kai choosing to have physical contact. Lukas shifted a little so, hopefully, Kai would be more comfortable, before taking a glance at his friend. The blond had his eyes closed, but they snapped open as he noticed something. He yawned and Lukas was forced to look back at the road when a driver honked at him, having nearly crashed. "Fuck you," Lukas muttered as he shook his head again. Humans were annoying. There was a reason he didn't like them, after all.
"Stop," Kai muttered, squeezing Lukas tightly. Lukas looked around, eyeing the area with more then a hint of suspicion. Really? They were a few blocks from a large section of office buildings, and Kai would stick out far too easily. Besides, Lukas wouldn't feel good about just leaving his friend in the middle of the street, in the middle of New York. After all, not everyone had an amazing bike they could ride around on... Besides, didn't Kai kill someone at his old apartment? Lukas could act thick, but he wasn't dumb. He was pretty sure that Kai going back to his apartment would be death for the vampire. Thinking it over, Lukas sped up a little and turned back around, heading towards the more residential part of New York. Hopefully there'd be less traffic. Besides, Lukas wanted to head back to his house so he could let Kai stay with him for a few.
"Nevermind," Kai suddenly said, after hitting Lukas lightly. Lukas nodded, understanding. Of course Kai would think it over. The guy thought everything over, after all. It was frustrating, at times, but Lukas had learned to accept it. Besides, it was just one of the vampire's weird quirks. They all had them, whether they be Narc's constant listening to music or Lukas's near-obession with his bike. Lukas let out a sigh as he turned the bike again.
"You can stay at my place," he said simply.

Anyway, where were they? Kai cast a casual glance around the area. It was vaguely recognizable, but secluded. He supposed that was a good thing, considering that just meant there were less humans around to bug them. Lukas was probably smart about the place he chose to live, unlike him. Kai usually just jumped from place to place every night or every other night, depending who he killed and where he killed them. He didn't like moving around too much to find someone he could of just stayed at home and killed just the same, though sometimes it was necessary. Especially if he liked the place he was staying at. He didn't like that apartment complex--he wouldn't miss it or the Humpty Dumpty man. He never carried much with him. Maybe five dollars at all times, but that would be about it. He wasn't one for material items. He used whoever's stuff was left after he took their house, mainly to bathe or eat. But that was all another subject entirely that doesn't really need to be discussed further.
Speaking of bathing, when was the last time Lukas took a bath? The boy didn't particularly smell, but he was looking a little rough around the edges. Not that Kai was really one to judge. Who was he kidding? He judged people all the time. Like that old lady over there. She annoyed him, how she was just standing there at the corner waiting for her taxi to come pick her up. Lazy, Kai thought with narrowed eyes, only vaguely realizing how distracted he was getting with his thoughts. Back to the matter at hand. Which was...oh, right. Where they were headed. He wondered what kind of place Lukas had. It better not be somewhere disgusting. He wasn't sure of Lukas's living habits, but messy came to mind when thinking about it. Not that Kai was the neatest person in the world either. Sighing, he merely continued to watch the buildings go by on the back of the motorcycle as they continued on.

"You want to sleep or eat or what when we get there?" Lukas asked, not really expecting much of an answer. He liked to talk, in all honesty. It was fun to hear himself speak. And Kai didn't really mind too much. Well, Lukas figured he didn't. After all, it wasn't like Kai had tried to kill him. Yet. Lukas supposed it was always possible, but he doubted it. After all, they were buddies. Kind of. And Lukas could hand Kai his head on a silver platter, when it really came down to fighting. Lukas was the most aggressive of the two, and for good reason. He was a fighter, not a thinker. So while the others could call him an idiot, he was safe in knowing that he could kick any other vampire or angel butt he wanted. It was a fun little plus of being a super strong (and all-around awesome and amazing) vampire.
"I guess you want to sleep. Think you'll be fine on your own?" Which was a stupid question, really, since Kai could handle himself. Especially against humans, though Lukas wasn't about to get tracked down to some fifteen year-old's apartment. Yes, that kill had been particularly... Fun? Well, Lukas had attacked the boy by the pier and thrown him into the water after cutting him from limb to limb, so that was fun. Enough. His point was that that body wasn't about to get found anytime soon. And, well, he had told his parents he was going out of town. So that just helped Lukas even more. A somewhat evil sneer appeared on Lukas's face as he drove on. I wonder what kind of kills I'll be able to get tonight. Hopefully some goods ones. I wonder if Kai is going to want to join me, he thought. Probably not. Kai was always a little anti-social, after all...
"We're getting close," Lukas said over the rush of the wind roaring past their ears. Only a couple more blocks, he added in his head. The neighbor hood was decent, if not one hundred percent safe, but that wasn't what the vampire was really worried about. The rent was cheap, the neighbors didn't try to talk to you, and it had your basic needs like a fridge and a bathroom that worked. That was all he really needed, after all. Speaking about a bathroom, though...
Well, it wasn't like Lukas smelled, but he had just been out killing people and riding his bike all night. That's not exactly the best way to keep yourself clean, after all. He frowned, thinking that he'd need a shower and need to change into some proper clothes. Like, something not splattered with blood. It's a good thing my place has a fireplace, Lukas thought. I can just burn whatever clothes get too bloody for my liking. Since, unlike a lot of other vampires, Lukas liked to be able to stay in clean clothes. He usually went out 'shopping' every few weeks. That being said, he never actually paid for any of his clothes, so calling it shopping was probably misleading. More accurate would to say that he just stole everything he wanted and left whatever he didn't want. Which wasn't much, but that's besides the point.
Zeke had been lucky that night, unable to attract the attention of the police, despite being covered in blood. It was probably too dark to see anyway, but it was definitely there. His white shirt was now a pale red where it had been stained, but the blood was still wet and it didn't seem like it would dry any time soon. Kia won't notice, Zeke thought to himself, mentally shrugging. He continued down the streets, getting strange glares and looks from humans which walked it. Who knows why they were out this time of night anyway, then again they considered themselves safe with a small knife and maybe even a gun now. It was definitely amusing how any human could ever hope to defeat a Vampire or an Angel for that matter. Even though someone once did... But that was beside the point, the point was; they could never win. The sun began to crawl out from the horizon, like a scared animal, hoping that it's predator (the moon) had given up and went away. The warmth on the skin of the boy bared no happiness to him, instead it made him frown at the fact he would now be unable to go and kill. Nights were never long enough for the darker Vampires who hung around the streets, though there was a mere few now. The ones who only lived to kill and kill again.
The transformation back only lasted a second at the most and was completely painless. He closed his eyes and allowed them to avert back to his human form, before reopening them. The whites around the iris had returned now and the grey had gone, being replaced by a redish brown. Almost the colour of blood. The frown upon his face, returned to that of a smile as he came to the flight of stairs which lead up to his apartment. The same one him and Zeruel once lived in, the same one Zeruel died in. The thoughts of it didn't bother Zeke in the slightest, he wouldn't even admit he missed his friend. Damn Angel had it coming, Zeke mentally scoffed. Of course there was always that little bit of Zeruel's past which annoyed Zeke greatly; Kia. She would do nothing but sleep and wait for Zeruel to come back, he was never coming back but she just wouldn't let go. Feeling no sense of love himself, Zeke didn't understand why she wanted him back so much. Perhaps it was for protection? Safety in numbers after all...
He turned the handle once again, seeing that the apartment was unlocked and thus Kia was still inside. Not that she ever went out. Oh no, that would of just been too easy. If she went out, Zeke could of locked her out. She'd have no choice but to move. Although, maybe the Vampire enjoyed having here there and that would be the reason behind him not ever trying to kick her out... Zeke denied the thoughts, pushing the door wide open to reveal a sight he would of never expected to see in his entire two lifetimes. Kia lay there on top of a body, a mangled body of one of his own brothers. Zeke stood silent for a moment, trying to process the image in front of him. He glanced around quickly and shut the door behind him, trying to find a way in which perhaps the Vampire snuck in? The windows seemed fine and oddly enough there was no signs of a fight. Either Kia was really good and managed to kill him instantly, or... The trail of blood coming from the door to the body told Zeke everything he needed to know. She had gone out and killed the Vampire herself.
Enraged, not by the fact she had killed one of his brothers, but by the face she had the nerve to drag it back here and leave it on the ground. Zeke snarled under his breath, striding over to the body and the sleeping Kia. The smell coming from them both was intoxicating, who knows how long they had both been there for. Of course it wouldn't of been a few days, but it sure looked like they had. He kicked both Kia and the body, wondering if Kia had died along with it. Surely not... He kicked her harder, the sheer force of it pushing her off of the body itself. "KIA!" Zeke yelled down at her, finally noticing how mutilated the body really was. He had to admit, it surprised him. Kia didn't seem like the type to ever do something like this, and at such a horrific death. It looked more like the work of a Vampire than anything else. Kia hadn't even bothered to send the body (and soul) to heaven for judgement. She just killed it and brought it here as a present for Zeke. "What on earth Kia?! What the hell were you thinking?!" Zeke had completely given up the innocent human act for the brief moments he shouted to her. Any human would fear for their friend's life and possibly call the police. But no, Zeke was just enraged by the whole thing, knowing that Kia was the one who did it.

The scent of death lingered on the room and she blocked out Zeke’s voice... curling up... ignoring his questions. She just shook the mass of clad together hair; the strands still wet with the blood her own face bearing a scratch or two. Kia looked at her hands which she could barely see through a crispy layer. She all of a sudden felt weak. Unprotected and unable to move herself. Pathetic. Anyone looking at her would be bound to see a young innocent girl. Alone and lost in New York City. She had no one.
She looked up at Zeke. She wanted him to know she knew. She wanted to gain the courage to talk to him again. She wanted him to know how much she knew about it all. She didn’t care if she put herself in danger. He’d have to pull her kicking and screaming from the apartment and that still wouldn’t stop her. This was her home now. She looked around and her eyes met the body.
Unable to move her gaze she licked her lower lip. The sight of it all brought her some sick twisted excitement that made her want to show off her new found friend. She’d had fun. For the first time in a while she was moving around being aware of her surroundings and speaking, she looked up at him still wide eyed and bright. She hissed as he got too close to her kill but quickly became submissive trying to back away from him, warily. Zeke made her scared during the daytime. He was by far stronger then her and could easily take advantage of that fact by killing her but he didn’t and for that she was thankful but all the same. The snarl, the yells had made her want to back away. Cry and blame herself for being in the way. Still on the floor in mental pieces she whispered...
“I’m going to bed,” But due to the mess she’d made she didn’t think it would be that easy to back away and pretend it didn’t happen. It wouldn’t have stopped her. She tried to get back on all fours and tried to crawl away dragging the body with her making more of a mess as she slowly tried to crawl along the living room the dead weight slowing her down incredibly, desperate to get away from Zeke’s prying eyes and anger a small blush crawling up her face. Kia had never been so alive.

He wondered if Lukas had any ice cream at home. He didn't want to ask--the moron seemed to be busy listening to the sound of his own voice anyway. Kai would just figure it out when they got there by simply raiding his friend's fridge. Friend. Well, this person's fridge. This person he happened to hang around on occasion to keep himself from delving into the ways of insanity by trying to force himself back into the ways of the human society he hated. Yes, that was one way of describing Lukas's purpose. The idiot. The moron. The admittedly entertaining promiscuous weirdo. "I guess you want to sleep. Think you'll be fine on your own?" My own? Kai echoed in his mind with a slight tilt of his head. Where would Lukas be going at such an early hour of the day-time? Certainly he wouldn't be out to kill someone. Not in this form. Lukas was a risk-taker, but Kai knew he wasn't a complete idiot. He knew how to handle situations in a wise way. He wouldn't just go out in broad daylight and do that. Then what?
"We're getting close," Lukas said, making Kai look lazily up from where they were to look on ahead of them. Even with the slightly higher back-seat of the motorcycle, he was still too short to see over the older vampire's head, so he was forced to lean slightly to the side to see around the blond. So he was staying in a neighborhood. Kai always did find Lukas odd with the way he lived. Lukas would find places to live and stay in for actual long amounts of time and stay there, like a human would, instead of jumping place to place. It wasn't a half-bad idea, Kai would have to admit (certainly not out loud, however). Anything is better than his own half-wit tactics of moving place to place every night. Eventually, he'd run out of places to hide, they'd track him down, and while he's sleeping they'd shove a stake through his heart and cut off his head, put it in a bag, then throw it in a moving river for his soul to forever be trapped...
Too many vampire comics, Kai thought nervously with a shake of his head. Then again, he mused, that wouldn't be a half bad way to kill a human some time. Maybe he'd give it a try... Or maybe he'd just go at it the uncreative, lazy way like usual. He wasn't a very exciting person after all and killing people in complicated ways just took time. Time he didn't like to spend. Especially the excessive screaming. Humans can scream. A lot. For a long time. Loud too. It was strange and, more than anything, it just aggravated the crap out of Kai. It always gave him a headache--to the point where he'd actually been forced to give up a few and go back to them in their sleep just because of their nuisances. Their deaths were not swift. Nobody hurts his ears like that and gets away with a nice, swift death in the middle of their sleep. So that's where Kai's basic signature came from. Cutting out the vocal chords before killing a victim, or just decapitating them straight away. Something along those lines. He didn't do this every time he killed, but it was frequent enough to consider it a trend.
Kai leaned back on the motorbike, laying his hands in his lap as he waited for the bike to slow and stop out front of Lukas's current living space. Is he still speaking? he wondered, just tuning the blond back in. Shrugging to himself, he tuned Lukas back out once again and waited for them to arrive.

"Number twenty eight, second floor. Try not to kill anyone, or break anything," Lukas said. He got back on his bike and waited for Kai to get off. Giving his fellow vampire a cheeky grin, Lukas drove off again with a slight wave of his hand. The garage was only a block away, of course, but Lukas would much rather drive then walk his bike there. After all, the vampire thought. I need to get gas. Deciding that Kai would be fully capable of getting into Lukas's apartment without anything bad happening (after all, Kai was supposed to be the smart and careful one of the two), Lukas turned away from the garage and towards the nearest gas station, which was about five minutes away. Five minutes for most people, Lukas thought as he sped up. Part of the benefit of having fake plates was that he didn't have to worry about pesky policemen and cameras on stoplights. After all, that was a human thing, not a vampire thing. Grinning to himself, Lukas waved at a few college girls as he drove past, smugly watching in his mirrors as they giggled. I'll never see them again, but you wouldn't know that by looking at them, he thought. And Kai thinks I'm unattractive.
Making a left turn, Lukas slowed down as he reached the gas station. It was relatively empty, of course, but there were still enough cars around that he'd have to be somewhat careful. Besides, how stupid would it be to get run into by a car? Humans are such stupid drivers. They don't look when they turn or anything! Lukas sighed as he cut the engine, pulling up the last few feet to the nearest gas pump. He set everything up and leaned against his bike as it filled up, watching the passing humans with little interest. They just go around their lives, never realizing how quickly it could all end... Bah, humans are such wasteful things. Vampires use what's given to them, at least.
"Oh, hello," a voice said. Lukas mentally swore as he looked over at the speaker, a 20-ish year old girl who worked at the gas station on the days she wasn't in college. Well, that's what Lukas assumed. I really need to find a new gas station, he thought. He forced himself to smile, making it friendly and slightly mysterious. "I just wanted to ask what kind of bike you have. My brother is really into bikes, but I can't really remember it all," she said. She's got a decent figure, Lukas thought. Not too skinny or fat. And she's got nice eyes, a nice green. Still, I can't exactly go around dating random humans. No, this is the last time she'll ever see me, Lukas thought.
"Oh, what, this thing? Well..." Lukas started going on about different kinds of bikes, a conversation that he could carry in an empty room, when the little gas meeter dinging. He frowned and made a show out of turning slowly to take the pump out. "I've gotta go, but I'll see you around, ok?" Lukas said, mounting his bike. The girl nodded and cheerfully waved as Lukas drove off for his garage.
He managed to convince himself that the bitter taste in his mouth was just something he was making up, though it took the whole drive.

As Kia rolled over onto the carpet groaning and digging her nails into the fine hairs, Zeke glared at her and nothing else. For all he cared she could die on the floor now, but then he'd have to clear up two bodies. Kia curled up and shook the wet blood off of her hair, causing the carpet and nearby furniture to become coated in the stuff; Zeke snarled. The Vampire got what he wanted though, attention from Kia -- she looked up at him in a way which told the Vampire that she knew. It did anything but surprise him, anyone could of worked it out that he was a Vampire and worked out his weakness too -- the apartment was completely analog clock free, with the exception of the one in Zeruel's room. Zeke had tried to remove it, but Kia always seemed so protective over her dead-lover's room; it was impossible. The Vampire merely glared down at her but soon began to smile, if she was willing to admit that she knew -- things could get interesting now.
Kia's attention was soon focused back on the body, of one of Zeke's brothers, lying on the floor. Zeke folded his arms and walked over to the body, if Kia wasn't going to clean it up; he would. A small hissing sound, like an animal's, could be heard and the Vampire turned to look at Kia -- the sound coming from her. As Zeke's eyes narrowed to her, she backed away a few steps. “I’m going to bed,” it was barely heard in a whisper but Zeke managed to understand. Crawling on all fours, she dragged the body backwards, creating more mess on the floor which Zeke growled about, however -- for reason's he didn't know -- he let Kia drag the body into Zeruel's old room; she would clean up later, right now Zeke was too tired.
The Vampire softened his glare when he was Kia disappeared, his looks became much more humane now -- almost innocent. Zeke yawned and put a hand to his mouth, wearily reaching and stumbling around the room until he collapsed onto the sofa. Being only a one bedroom apartment, when Zeruel moved in; Zeke took the sofa and Zeruel the room. The Vampire wasn't about to complain either, he wasn't one for privacy -- the room kept Kia out of the way too. He glanced momentarily over his shoulder at the blood stains on the floor, somehow it reminded him of the day he found Emily's body. Painful memories made the boy tremble and sigh agitatedly under his breath; though he was a Vampire, he still mourned the death of his girlfriend, they both had died that night but only one of them would live again. Zeke knew that he was living for both himself and Emily -- he thought so at least.
Giving up to sleep the Vampire let out a huge yawn and curled up on the sofa, pulling one of the cushions under his head and getting himself comfortable. It wasn't long before he drifted off to sleep.
