Description

Zeke Naruse

Personality

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Role: Vampire

Appearance: Zeke has light brown, fluffy hair (or so Emily says), his eyes are brown in colour, however they turn red at night. He's usually seen in a white shirt with a sort of vest like thing over the top, which Emily brought just a size too big for him. He wears brown-coloured jeans because he claims the blue ones don't go with the vest. Around his neck is a small pendant, which he wraps around his neck a few times so it would never fall of. This necklace is the one he actually brought for Emily, when he came back to life as a Vampire, he wore it around his neck as a reminder of his past life. He also carries around a white rose from time to time, because that is the petal he found scattered around Emily's home. At night the whites of his eyes turn black, the redish-brown pupils turn to a dull grey.

Personality: Zeke can be described as childish from time to time, he cares deeply about his girlfriend and sometimes still cries over her death. He still hits on other girls as a joke and is a bit of a pervert. He is always getting on people's nerves with his happy-go-lucky personality, he especially annoys Zeruel. As a vampire at night, his desire to kill is extremely strong, he wants revenge on God for what he did (allowing Emily to die). This is probably why he became a Vampire in the first place, because of his strong hate towards God. He's not insane and sadistic like some of the other Vampires, but at the sight of blood (even his own), he will snap completely.

Weapon: Dagger

Weakness: Clocks (Ticking) ~ Due to the cause of Death, the tick-tocking noise of clocks causes Zeke to panic and almost go insane if he hears it for too long.

How Did You Die?: Zeke was coming back from taking Kia home with his friend Ando (Zeruel), when he decided to stop by his girlfriend, Emily's house. He found Emily dead, but in the most beautiful way, his throat was then slit by the same person who killed Emily and he died over his girlfriend's body.

History: Zeke was a normal university student who shared a room with Zeruel. He first met Zeruel when he joined the University a few months ago, since then he has become good friends with Zeruel and they do quite a few things together. Not much is actually known about the past life Zeke had, he never decided to share it with anyone. But he hasn't ever mentioned his family or where he used to live, even to Zeruel. Zeke continued to live with Zeruel and Kia even when he became a Vampire, when Zeruel died, he felt some regret and sorrow, however he quickly covered that up. Now he lives with Kia in the same apartment, he can't and hasn't really tried to get rid of her yet, he finds her slightly amusing.

The Vampire took his last breaths, but keeping that same sadistic smile on his grey features, eyes burning like the very pits of Hell from which the creature crawled from. The fire would die out as eyes closed and the lifeless breath from his body ceased to exist. As I watched the scene in front of me, I was mesmerized how such a Vampire such as this one could actually die. A cold chill from the wind whipped against my face, blowing my hair straight into my eyes causing me to brush them away. Kia was starting to move, bending down in the pool of blood. Such an innocent Angel sent to finish off the dirty work of others, her eyes still stained with the tears she cried for Ando or Zeruel as he called himself. I am not even sure anymore who he really was, but he wasn't my friend. No... definitely not that.

“Should you fail, child, our Father will strike you down, and you will descend into the pits from whence our kind comes, and you will burn.”

Yes, yes I know! Oh how his voice gives me chills, but now isn't the time to be scared of a dead man now is it Zeke? Surely meeting him once again in Earth will be far better than suffering the punishment I get for not obeying orders. Satan is my Father too after all. I must carry out orders. I took one look at the trickle of blood near me, stepping out of the darkness. I kept my distance from Kia and the body of Alec. I couldn't tell if I was reluctant to do such a thing, but I bent down, quickly scribbling the symbol into the blood of that demon. It wasn't my best work I will admit but I have to do it quickly before Kia sends his soul to heaven. I laughed out, quickly muffling my mouth with my hand and shrinking back into the darkness. Kia had just about finished when the body began to swell up. I couldn't help but smile knowing that he would be sent to hell. Kia's surprised face was a nice little bonus too, quickly being covered in the blood and tainted organs of Alec. He was going back to hell and I helped. I threw my head back, in an insane laughter, however it could never rival that of the white-haired demon's.

It had been about a year now and still no sign of Alec, I actually wondered if he really was sent to hell. Perhaps Father didn't want him to come back after all, keeping him there like some sort of pet. Not like it mattered, things had become hell here now anyway. Vampires couldn't walk around freely anymore due to the increase in Angels and Human Security. Heck i'm even living with one! I let my eyes wander over to Kia who still seemed to be staring at that door, who knows why... Oh wait. I know why. I rolled my eyes, sighing to myself and concentrating back on the TV. Nothing interesting was on just a few reports of more incidents and how security is failing. It's not. It's just a lot of Vampires are in New York. At least the weather girl on the TV was interesting. I snickered slightly, hoping that Kia didn't hear me. She still believes I am human... Or at least. I think she does. She hasn't said anything or tried to kill me yet. Being so close together you would of thought she'd notice my aura. Not that it mattered. I really couldn't care-less, in her state I could take her down within seconds.

I stared towards the window, hoping to catch the last moments of sun before the transformation would begin again. Sure enough the sun was setting over the horizon, creating a pink and orange painted sky. You had to admit it was sort of pretty in an innocent kind of way. Quickly I rose up, throwing my coat on and heading towards the door. "Kia I'm going out for a drink." What an amazing excuse, the same one I use every night. I once asked her to come but she refused my offer, so I didn't bother asking her again. Without waiting for a reply I flung the door open, slamming it behind me. I could feel the transformation beginning already... The pain in my chest was almost unbearable, I had to use all of my strength to keep myself standing. Soon the pain subsided and I knew at that moment that my transformation had been completed, my eyes becoming the same black and grey as they always did. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of the night ahead, walking down the stairs leading up to my apartment, stepping out onto the streets, casually striding down them looking for my first victims.

Zeke smiled as the sounds of sirens began to echo in the distance, he hadn’t even got a few meters from his apartment when he was greeted by a female voice. “You a Vamp or a fucking Angel?” He rolled his eyes, cursing himself for the fact he didn’t notice the other’s aura sooner. Is she stupid? Zeke thought Why ask someone that? Perhaps I should just ignore her… No… That would be too easy. He smiled faintly as he faced her, leaning in and narrowing his eyes to take a good look up and down her. She was covered in blood but was actually rather attractive, pinkish blond hair with thick black streaks in it. Her eyes burned a deep crimson red which couldn’t help but remind the Vampire of blood. Right. I can’t stay talking, I have a job to do. He mentally sighed, licking his lips and leaning in extremely close to the other’s mouth. He didn’t stop at her mouth though, leaning in further to whisper in her ear. “You shouldn’t say things like that Princess.” Zeke smirked. “You just made it obvious to me you’re a Vampire and what if I was an Angel hm?” He opened his mouth to bite down on her ear but pulled away at the last second and taking a step back from the other. “I’d love to stay and get to know you a bit better but I have a certain request which needs filling. You understand though don’t you?” Zeke smiled once again. “You are a Vampire after all.” He chuckled to himself before turning around and continuing off down the streets humming a tune to himself and ignoring the stares he got from pedestrians.

Picking out a nice club where a few teenagers were gathered outside having a cigarette and laughing the night away. Zeke smiled, it seemed so peaceful and a beautiful sight in a way, but that peace wasn't going to last for long...

He stumbled over to them, falling onto the ground just in front of 'em, of course they ran over to Zeke's delight. He looked up to them with fake tears in his eyes, oh how his Drama classes paid off. "Are you okay?" the female with purple and black hair asked. Zeke nodded, trying to get to his feet, though he had to be helped by the two boys of the group. "Do you need us to take you to a hospital?" the other girl asked, she had a worried look on her face, one which made Zeke just want to stab her eyes with just so he could see the expression change to one of horror.Zeke shook his head then smiled before walking away, falling once again on the floor. The two girls ran over to him once again, the boys just waited where they were, a little jealous of Zeke and the fact that his girlfriends were caring more for him than their date. "At least let us take you home." one said, helping Zeke to his feet. The boys figured this was their time to shine and ran over. "We'll take him home." the first one smiled to the black/purple haired one, obvious that was his date. The other stayed quiet and just nodded along with his friend, the girls looked all to pleased with their boyfriends' generosity and smiled to each other, nodding approvingly.

With the help of the two boys, Zeke walked down a dark alleyway a few blocks down from the club, Zeke commanded them to stop and they did so but not before flashing confused looks to one another. Zeke stumbled away from them, resting against the walls of the alleyway, suddenly the dagger became visible in his hands and he smirked deviously, putting a hand through his messy hair to make his eyes obvious to the pair. Those black and grey eyes weren't that of a human and almost immediately they began to run.Within a flash Zeke was in front of them, blocking the exit out onto the streets. One of them stepped forward, holding up his fists in order to fight, it evoked a laughter from Zeke, a cold dead chuckle. The dagger was placed in his mouth as his own fists were raised. The other boy stood out of the way, egging on his friend who threw a few punches to start off with, Zeke easily dodging them, not even attempting to fight back. One punch was thrown and Zeke grabbed his hand, smirking from beneath the dagger in his mouth as he pushed the boy's hand back until a sickening crack could be heard and his hand broken. A scream escaped the boy's lips but Zeke didn't stop, he continued to push back until the bone protruded from the bleeding wound, his hand eventually being snapped off and falling to the ground.

The boy standing after looked at his friend's hand in horror as it just sat there on the alleyway floor, decapitated from his friend's arm, the person responsible now the dagger in his hand. Zeke's devious smile was more than obvious now, two of his fingers stabbed the guy in the eye sockets, feeling the jelly like substance on his fingers excited him, as the boy was screaming Zeke stabbed through his mouth with the dagger, it coming out from the back of his head. The screaming would cease and the boy fell to his knees. He was obviously dead. His friend looked in horror as the dagger was yanked out of his friends' head and it being brought up to Zeke's mouth, his tongue sliding across the bloody blade as he savored the taste. The other boy wanted to move, but he felt himself frozen with fear as his friends' murderer came closer and closer, the blood from the blade dripping onto the ground and creating a trail. The blade was placed in front of the boy's mouth as Zeke commanded him to lick it, without a second thought and in the hope of being spared, he compelled and stuck his tongue out slightly with Zeke pushing the blade onto it. The boy now having to taste the blood, his friend's blood.

All the while he was shaking and Zeke grabbed his tongue with his free hand and sliced it off with the blade. The boy put a hand over his mouth, unable to scream, but trying to stop the blood. Before he knew it he was on the floor by a kick to the knees, his head smashing against the wall, though it didn't kill him. The blood now running down his throat and filling up his lungs, with no way to stop it apart from spitting out the blood every so often. Zeke sat on top of the boy's chest, his knife scraping down his arms, stopping when he came to the wrists. The boy struggled, knowing that he was going to die, if not from a cut from that blade, then by the blood inside of his lungs. In one swift motion, Zeke raised the blade and slice across the wrist, all too much so that the hand almost came off. He repeated the process on the other wrist, but this time more gentle and slower. He looked back to the man's face, his head resting on the cold ground, now dead. The dagger vanished and Zeke dipped his hand in the puddle of blood forming around both of the boys.

"May Satan bless your souls." Zeke said in a fake caring tone, one where it would be used at a funeral to mourn the loss of someone. The symbol was finished and the bodies exploded everywhere, causing blood, bits of flesh and organs to coat Zeke once again. He smirked, brushing off the bits of flesh and mutilated organs before dropping his head forward and chuckling darkly.

Zeke had been lucky that night, unable to attract the attention of the police, despite being covered in blood. It was probably too dark to see anyway, but it was definitely there. His white shirt was now a pale red where it had been stained, but the blood was still wet and it didn't seem like it would dry any time soon. Kia won't notice, Zeke thought to himself, mentally shrugging. He continued down the streets, getting strange glares and looks from humans which walked it. Who knows why they were out this time of night anyway, then again they considered themselves safe with a small knife and maybe even a gun now. It was definitely amusing how any human could ever hope to defeat a Vampire or an Angel for that matter. Even though someone once did... But that was beside the point, the point was; they could never win. The sun began to crawl out from the horizon, like a scared animal, hoping that it's predator (the moon) had given up and went away. The warmth on the skin of the boy bared no happiness to him, instead it made him frown at the fact he would now be unable to go and kill. Nights were never long enough for the darker Vampires who hung around the streets, though there was a mere few now. The ones who only lived to kill and kill again.

The transformation back only lasted a second at the most and was completely painless. He closed his eyes and allowed them to avert back to his human form, before reopening them. The whites around the iris had returned now and the grey had gone, being replaced by a redish brown. Almost the colour of blood. The frown upon his face, returned to that of a smile as he came to the flight of stairs which lead up to his apartment. The same one him and Zeruel once lived in, the same one Zeruel died in. The thoughts of it didn't bother Zeke in the slightest, he wouldn't even admit he missed his friend. Damn Angel had it coming, Zeke mentally scoffed. Of course there was always that little bit of Zeruel's past which annoyed Zeke greatly; Kia. She would do nothing but sleep and wait for Zeruel to come back, he was never coming back but she just wouldn't let go. Feeling no sense of love himself, Zeke didn't understand why she wanted him back so much. Perhaps it was for protection? Safety in numbers after all...

He turned the handle once again, seeing that the apartment was unlocked and thus Kia was still inside. Not that she ever went out. Oh no, that would of just been too easy. If she went out, Zeke could of locked her out. She'd have no choice but to move. Although, maybe the Vampire enjoyed having here there and that would be the reason behind him not ever trying to kick her out... Zeke denied the thoughts, pushing the door wide open to reveal a sight he would of never expected to see in his entire two lifetimes. Kia lay there on top of a body, a mangled body of one of his own brothers. Zeke stood silent for a moment, trying to process the image in front of him. He glanced around quickly and shut the door behind him, trying to find a way in which perhaps the Vampire snuck in? The windows seemed fine and oddly enough there was no signs of a fight. Either Kia was really good and managed to kill him instantly, or... The trail of blood coming from the door to the body told Zeke everything he needed to know. She had gone out and killed the Vampire herself.

Enraged, not by the fact she had killed one of his brothers, but by the face she had the nerve to drag it back here and leave it on the ground. Zeke snarled under his breath, striding over to the body and the sleeping Kia. The smell coming from them both was intoxicating, who knows how long they had both been there for. Of course it wouldn't of been a few days, but it sure looked like they had. He kicked both Kia and the body, wondering if Kia had died along with it. Surely not... He kicked her harder, the sheer force of it pushing her off of the body itself. "KIA!" Zeke yelled down at her, finally noticing how mutilated the body really was. He had to admit, it surprised him. Kia didn't seem like the type to ever do something like this, and at such a horrific death. It looked more like the work of a Vampire than anything else. Kia hadn't even bothered to send the body (and soul) to heaven for judgement. She just killed it and brought it here as a present for Zeke. "What on earth Kia?! What the hell were you thinking?!" Zeke had completely given up the innocent human act for the brief moments he shouted to her. Any human would fear for their friend's life and possibly call the police. But no, Zeke was just enraged by the whole thing, knowing that Kia was the one who did it.
