Etsuko looked up to answer. "Nagasaki is pretty much one big port, right next to the sea. A lot of fishing goes on, there, plus a ton of shipbuilding. Memorials are present, too, since that city was the second place to be hit by a nuclear weapon. Overall, it's a very nice place."
The bell rang, which told them it was time to head to their first class. Etsuko and Yoshi both had choir as their first period, where they could refine their singing skills. Once there, and the bell rang for class to begin, the choir teacher went over some things all the students in class would be doing, including concerts at the auditorium, plus the sponsoring of a talent show. With that out of the way, the teacher told everyone he would be evaluating everyone's singing voices over the course of the week to determine some things in the future.
First up was Etsuko, who walked on over to the front with a soft smile. She was told to sings parts of two songs of her choice from the list, along with other instructions, then it was time. The first song, a jazz one, was a bit cheerful, and Etsuko matched the required part to the last note, sounding a bit like Rin Kagamine while doing so. The second was also a jazz one, yet it was more mellow. Both times, she sang the required parts with skill, her voice having seemingly no fault. nearly the whole class was impressed and clapped in applause.
Once again, Etsuko managed to bring smiles to people's faces through her singing. "Thank you!" After that, she sat down next to Yoshi, whom she wondered what sort of voice he had while singing. She was about to find out, as it was the green-haired boy's turn.

Akira nodded in response to what she said. "Never heard of those animes, or even Eucliwood Hellscythe. I'll probably check the animes out, sometime. The Bell rang before he could say anything else. It was time to head to World History, which both he and Aiko had together. Once there, and the bell rang, they were introduced to what they would be studying for the semester. Most of it, Akira already knew, yet felt it did not hurt to learn something new from it. He took his notes and once the class was freed up for doing whatever, he went on over to Aiko and asked her, "Do you drink coffee, by any chance? I've learned a lot about brewing different varieties of it up." Shrugging, he added, "Eh, not to brag, or anything."

It was PE time, Nobuo and Isamato sharing the same physical education teacher. The man giving instructions had quite the muscle tone which exuded toughness. With the introductions out of the way, including the different activities in the future, swimming being one of them, he brought out the gym uniforms for everyone.
Below is a picture with the guys' gym uniform:
This one contains the girls' gym uniform:
Everyone was pretty much left to do what they wanted once everyone had been sorted out. Nobuo decided to check out the track and field area, which had been set up just for that day. People were having a go at the different events, already. The one he decided to try first was the shot put. He picked up the heavy ball prior to positioning himself properly. Then, once he had it just right, he threw it hard, making it land just barely away from the line where the shot put area ended, which amazed his fellow peers. They all began to shout things like,
"I don't believe it: he maxed out his score on the first throw!" "Just how strong is he?" "None of us can top that!"Nobuo simply walked on to the track to have at the 100 meter dash. His feet were in position as he silently waited for people who would compete with him there. Whoever wanted to race with him was welcome to.

Jonathan walked on over to his first class, Physics, once the bell rang to do so. Along the way, people gave him glares. He did not mind, at first, yet he did once he was tripped by a fellow classmate at the room he was supposed to be at. He would have punched the guy in the face had he not noticed a pair of innocent blue eyes from a purple-haired girl whom was also in the room for Physics. The moment he spotted her was when he stopped, his fist behind him while he turned from angry to surprised. If he followed through on his punch to the boy who tripped him, it would have been in front of someone who radiated innocence. That main reason ended up the primary motivation to lower his fist and say to the jerk, "I'd be careful who you mess with, if I were you."
Almost everyone else was seated, so he picked the nearest open desk, which happened to be in front of
her. Jon's heart raced a little, but he did not know why, at first. Could it be that he just developed a crush on that girl? What was her name, anyway?
