He was her world, and she couldn't have been happier. Hand in hand, they seemed to make one another happy just by being there, and existing with the other. She could not believe her luck in finding him. Everything, from his eyes to his longer hair, to his muscular form.

They didn't even have to try with one another. They lived in the moment, wherever he went, she was with him, and he never let her feel alone. Her dress was the color of the sun beams, with her hair in an updo.

She squeezed his hand lovingly as they walked in rhythm. Then, with a peck on his cheek, she formed the most radiant smile she'd ever felt, feeling amazingly."Do you remember how we met? " She asked calmly, yet soft. "How did you feel?" She turned her head in his direction, studying his eyes, and hoping for the answer she so badly wanted.

Mason couldn't believe he was with the most gorgeous woman he ever met in his life, walking the streets, hand in hand, just enjoying every moment the two of them had with each other. He wished it would never end, that he would never have to say goodbye to his one and only true love. Sandra was all he ever wanted, all he was ever looking for.

With a soft smile he began to answer her question and it played in his head just as if it were just yesterday he met her. "You were in that sexy mini skirt, a white tank top with your hair draped over your shoulders and my heart just dropped. When I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one and when we started talking to each other I could feel my heartbeat speed up," he answered.

Sandra smiled happily, and laid her head on his shoulder. "I didn't like those mini skirts... but if it gets me you, then I can bear the trouble." Her lips pursed, and she sighed as they kept walking, just strolling as lovers with nothing else on their minds but one another.

"Mason.." She started, lifting her head off of his shoulder, and slowing their pace, to where she looked at a little family-owned consignment shop nearby. "Can we go in there? Just for a minute, I promise." Sandra giggled like a school girl, and felt herself nervous for his answer, even though she knew it'd be a yes.

Once they walked in the shop, the door rang a little bell, and an elderly man came out from the back. "My, what a lovely couple! Is this your honeymoon?" He chuckled to himself, and Sandra blushed. "Oh no sir. We're just a couple." She smiled, and disappeared to a book rack, her view of the door blocked by an armoire.

Mason smiled and let out a soft chuckle when he heard her words and couldn't help but to imagine her in one of those little mini skirts again. He knew she was never too fond of them, but man, did he enjoy them whenever she actually did wear them. Though it wasn't until Sandra started speaking again that he was pulled out of his thoughts.

"Yeah?" he stated when she got his attention. He glanced over towards the consignment shop she was mentioning and glanced in through the window. With a soft smile he nodded his head and walked in with her.

Mason couldn't help but to smirk when he heard the man's statement and just allowed Sandra to handle it. The last thing he needed to do was being sarcastic about something like that, when he knew he clearly would be and Sandra wouldn't be too happy with that. He began looking around the store and couldn't help but to be drawn to the rings.

"Is there anything I could help you with?" questioned a woman who looked to be in her late twenties. He glanced back at the case for a moment with a look of thought and just nodded his head and pointed to a gold engagement ring with a princess diamond cut. "How much is this one?" he questioned.

The female unlocked the case and pulled the ring out to look at the price tag on it, "It's a hundred dollars." Mason stood there for a moment as he pulled out his wallet and counted up the amount of cash he had left and decided that he had enough to buy the ring and take care of food for the next week. "I'll take it," he stated as he handed her the money and in return she pulled the price tag off and handed him the ring.

Sandra had disappeared into the vast collection of trinkets and things, not hearing of Mason's purchase. She found a few old books, but nothing worth the price they had it. She made her way to the jewelry long after he'd put the ring in his pocket, and slid her arm into his, smiling. "Are you ready?" She smiled casually, and waved to the little old man at the register as they left.

Back to walking, Sandra rubbed his arm, and they soon made it to the Bank, which was their original destination. They needed money for the electricity and water bill this month.

As Sandra walked up to the counter, she smiled as she told her information, but was confused when the clerk told her that she couldn't get money. "I'm sorry?" Sandra looked to the girl again. "I just put my paycheck in two weeks ago. I haven't used it." She turned to Mason, and then back to the clerk. "I'm sorry, m'am, but it says you are in the red zone of finances." Sandra sighed, running a hand through her hair.

"Alright." She nodded and sharply turned on her heel. "I don't understand." She looked to Mason. "I just put money in our savings. How can it..." She was struck with realization. "The rent."

Mason followed Sandra into the bank and just balled his hands into fists as he listened to her conversation with the bank teller. He hated living like this, constantly worrying about one thing or another and never being able to do things they enjoy doing because of their money issues. Mason is completely tired of living paycheck to paycheck.

"Well, um, at least we have the house..." he stated trying to calm himself down. He sighed as he made his way out the building and looked to her. "I know this isn't the best of times but I need to do this."

He pulled the ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee in the middle of the sidewalk and held her hand in his, "Sandra, you are the most beautiful girl in the world, I love you with everything I am and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So, Sandra, will you marry me?" he questioned as he stared up into her beautiful eyes.

Sandra hadn't been much attention to Mason as she was in her own world, but when she turned, he was on one knee, and smiling.

"Sandra, you are the most beautiful girl in the world, I love you with everything I am and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So, Sandra, will you marry me?"

"M-mason.." Her eyes grew huge, and she could see the crowd forming around them pretty quickly. "Y-yes... Yes... Mason, yes!"She squealed, and smiled as he slipped the ring on her left hand, and then wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him nice and slow as the crowd cheered for their engagement. "I love you.." She whispered in his ear, smiling.

Mason smiled and wrapped Sandra in his loving embrace as he heard the crowd that managed to form around them start cheering. "I love you too," he responded and gave her a soft kiss. "I promise I'll make you happy Sandra. I've been looking for a second job hoping that we will get back onto our feet. I know you're probably thinking that I shouldn't because I won't have much time to spend with you, but we need the money," he stated as he began walking hand in hand with her down the sidewalk.

"I understand if you don't want to tell me how you feel about this until we get home and I probably shouldn't have told you until then, but you needed to know that I'm trying," he stated and then finally shut up, having a feeling that all he was doing was angering her because every time they talk about finances one or both of them end up being completely angered.

Sandra sighed as he started talking the most depressing thing he could have right after they got engaged. She had just been smiling, and giggling, and now she was sighing and rolling her eyes as he spoke. "Okay, that's great." She tried to sound enthused, and as they walked back home.

When they were about a block away, Sandra let go of his hold, and crossed her arms as she walked in that apartment they lived in together, and she went to the bathroom, where she shut the door, and saw herself in the mirror.

She wanted to be stress-free and not panicking every time they spent money, or anything, that they may not even eat the next day. She eventually came back out, her eyes red, and sighing. "We have like ancient whiskey, don't we?" She dug under the sink and round a bottle, which she took a swig from.

An hour, and half a bottle later, Sandra went up to Mason, and giggled. "I want.." She touched his nose with her finger, trailing down farther and farther as she spoke, until it stopped at his belt. "to forget about everything... but you." Sandra grinned, and stood above him, waiting for a reaction.

When Sandra let go of his hand when they reached the apartment, he knew he must have said something he shouldn't have. He just sighed and allowed her her space to cool off and he went to the room and laid back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and began checking his email to see if anything important had come up.

Though not long after he was accompanied by his fiance', who was definitely tipsy. He smirked up at her and decided to give her just what she wanted. The only reason he was going to was because he knew she would remember it in the morning. She was drunk, but she wasn't quite that drunk.

Mason reached up and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her down on top of him and instantly pressed his lips against her's in a powerful, yet lustful kiss.

Sandra was lost in her fiance that night, and woke up covered in the sheets, feeling his warmth radiate on her. "Mmm.. " She groaned, and uncurled, then stretched her arms to touch the wall behind them. "Mason.." She smiled, and bent down over him, kissing his head and nose .

"Wake up, baby." She smiled, and purred in his ear. Sandra, nonetheless, felt better about their current situation. Today, she'd go out and quit her job as the library's secretary, and start busting tables as a waitress. At least then she'd get big tips, and they needed all they could get right now.

Mason smirked when he felt his fiance's kiss upon his nose and head as he opened his eyes. With a yawn and stretch he glanced over at her with a soft smile, "Is there something wrong?" he questioned as he slowly sat up in the bed. At that moment he remembered what happened last night and a wicked smirk returned to his face as he looked at her, she was still undressed.

"Is there something wrong?"

Sandra grunted as he smirked. "Just the fact that you aren't kissing me." She giggled, and sat up the sheets still covering her, and kissed his lips even better than last night.

"You are addictive." She whispered, and ran her hand up his chest, smiling.

Mason couldn't help but plaster a wicked smirk to his face after hearing his fiance's response and kissed her back. When she pulled away and run her hand up his chest he just stared her in the eyes. "Is there anything that needs to be done today?" he questioned.

Honestly he hoped there wasn't. All he wanted to do today was kick back at home and spend the entire day with Sandra. Do whatever she wanted to do, he didn't care as long as he was spending the time with her. After the long month they had, he believed they at least deserved that.

Mason just chuckled a bit, surprised that she had even asked that question. He'd think that she would at least know that they weren't married. Though, maybe this was just some sort of sarcastic comment that she tended to do every now and then. At this point, he had no clue. At times it was hard to tell on the days she wakes up when she drank the previous night.

When she laid her head upon his shoulder, he wrapped his arms around her, cuddling her as he began to answer her question. "No," he answered. "We are not married yet," he added.

At the sudden sound of Sandra puking her guts out in the bathroom, Mason woke up just as she was climbing back in the bed. He looked over at her with a concerned look. "Are you okay?" he questioned as he slowly sat up. He knew that it was most likely the hangover that was causing her to be puking the way she was, but he just wanted to make sure she was alright.

As she climbed to her pillow, she nodded to Mason, and sighed. "I think.. it's just the alcohol.." She buried her head into the pillow, close to him. "Don't let me drink again." She moaned, and opened her eyes hazily, and really had no idea why she was so sick.

Mason just smiled and nodded his head. "Not sure how well I'll be able to make that happen, this is the third time you asked me to keep you away from the alcohol," he stated with a slight chuckle. "Is there anything you want to do today, I don't have to go into work until five o'clock tonight?" Mason questioned as he looked down at her from sitting up.

Mason sighed and shrugged his shoulders as he climbed out of bed, finding that he was still undressed from the night before. He made his way into the bathroom and started speaking, "Honestly, I have no clue what to do. All I know is that I want to spend the day with you before I have to spend the night with dickheads," he stated.

Mason smiled and stood to his feet in turn and pulled his boxers back on before going over to the dresser to pull out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. "Alright, any idea where or would you just want to walk around?" he questioned as he got dressed. Though he couldn't help but to feel a bit worried about her. He could tell that she was still feeling sick. Honestly, he hoped that it was just the alcohol and that she wasn't pregnant. They were definitely not in a great place to take care of a child.
