Sophia Helina

a character in “Hero's Squall”, as played by GamerX

Description

ImageIn-game appearances is to the left. Real life looks are to the right.
Name: Sophia Helina
Real life age: Even though people swear she is still a teenager Sophia is actually 26.
Game character's age: People estimate around 25 so Sophia just goes with that.
Class: Assassin
Gender: Female
In-game name: GalletaImage

Personality

Sophia is definitely tsundere in real life. Many would call her cold and cruel, harsh with words, and quick to scold someone for the smallest of things. However, she is actually
really nice if you ask those that have taken the time to get to know her. Anyone would guess that her poor and hard upbringing is most of the cause in her distant attitude towards others; though in the end it taught her a lot about being self-reliant in everything she does.

Her character in-game has its own personality however. Some might even say Sophia is being her true self with a smidgen of her tsundere attitude draining down to add some mystery and merciless power. Even though Galleta seems like a flirtatious woman with a slightly motherly side, finding this assassin may prove to be more difficult than most would think. Many times Galleta is seen and an attempt at following her is made. However, just when you think you cornered her she either comes up behind with a blade in your back or simply seems to have vanished into thin air. Some call her a ghost, a few a myth, and others a god.....Which is truly best to describe this majestic assassin? Well she leaves that up to the players and creators to decide.

Effects
Prevents the wearer from being affected by airborne (i.e. smoke, mist, ect) effects.

Items in bag/usable items:
Poison Smoke Bomb (optional shrapnel)
The smoke from the bomb causes those afflicted to lose 15% of total health over the next two posts. Only works upon inhalation. Area of effect (aka AOE) is 20 yards. Activates upon impact. If there is any shrapnel it does 20 damage with an AOE of 10 yards.

Toxic Smoke Bomb (optional shrapnel)
The smoke from this bomb causes those affected to become paralyzed for 1 post. Works upon skin contact. AOE is 20 yards. Activates with either a fuse or tripwire. Tripwire can only be seen with 200 Perception, the one that sets it (and those in the same party) may see it at all times. If there is any shrapnel it does 20 damage with an AOE of 10 yards.

De-buff smoke bomb (optional shrapnel)
This bomb halves all stats of those afflicted for 3 posts as well as slows their movement speed for 4 posts. Also it drains 20% of total MPV per post for 3 posts. AOE is 20 yards. If there is any shrapnel it does 20 damage with an AOE of 10 yards.

Smoke Bomb (optional shrapnel)
The smoke from this bomb has no effect to the characters other than eliminating vision while it stays active. AOE 40 yards. Can be activated with impact, fuse, or tripwire.
Tripwire requires 200 Perception to be seen, the one that set it (and those in the same party) may see it at all times. If there is any shrapnel it does 30 damage with an AOE of
20 yards, or 20 damage with an AOE of 30 yards. Shrapnel damage does not increase for moving targets.

Health Potion
Gives 60% of total health to the one this is used on.

Mana Ption
Gives 50% of total mana to the one this is used on.

Throwing Knives
If from the front hit chance is decided by using combined agility and perception levels; if the difference is 15 or more and there is a successful hit then critical is applied. If the opponent is not facing the direction the knife is coming from then the target must have 20 Perception over the thrower's agility to know it is coming; if the target does not realize it is coming they must have 20 more Agility points to avoid critical. Also, if the knife comes from behind the target must have 30 Perception and 25 Agility higher than the thrower's agility to completely dodge the knife. Damage is based on user's agility against opponents defense, critical is not decided in damage calculation step but one of the 2 previous ones instead.

Stats:
What everyone in the game sees and what a Copy Cat copies:
Level: 20
Stats: (Points gained over time: 100 + (19 * 25) = 575)
Attack: 101 (base) + 2 (class bonus) + 165 (equipment bonus) = 268
Defense: 90 (base) - 2 (class bonus) + 200 (equipment bonus) = 288
Agility: 101 (base) + 2 (class bonus) + 115 (equipment bonus) = 218
Perception: 101 (base) + 2 (class bonus) + 210 (equipment bonus) = 323
Magic: 90 (base) - 2 (class bonus) + 140 (equipment bonus) = 228
Health: 92 (base) - 2 (class bonus) + 65 (equipment bonus) = 155
Magic Point Value: 228 (Magic stat) + (20 * 5) = 328

What it actually is due to hacking:
Level: 200
Stats: (Points gained over time: 100 + (199 * 25) = 5,075)
Attack: 848 (base) + 2 (class bonus) + 330 (equipment bonus) = 1180
Defense: 843 (base) - 2 (class bonus) + 400 (equipment bonus) = 1241
Agility: 848 (base) + 2 (class bonus) + 230 (equipment bonus) = 1080
Perception: 848 (base) + 2 (class bonus) + 420 (equipment bonus) = 1270
Magic: 843 (base) - 2 (class bonus) + 280 (equipment bonus) = 1121
Health: 845 (base) - 2 (class bonus) + 130 (equipment bonus) = 973
Magic Point Value: 1121 (Magic stat)+ (200 * 5) = 2121

Skills/Abilities: (Anything marked with a * is something that Sophia created via hacking to make things easier for herself and cannot be copied by the Copy Cat class.)
Passive: (Always active; no costs required)
Sixth sense: This allows the user to detect others within 100 yards but not able to distinguish between hostiles and friendlies. At 50 yards the user can recognize if the opponent is getting ready to attack or not and if they are focusing on the user or not. Hostiles are indicated with red arrows, friendlies are marked with blue circles, and unknowns are grey teardrop marks pointing to the person. When looking in the direction of the marker the person is highlighted with the corresponding color. Requires 120 Perception.
Assassin class only.

*Double Stat Boost: All stat boosts gained from items are doubled.

*Read-out: Upon looking at a player, admin, or creature Sophia can tell exactly what will be dropped upon death and what will not. It also gives complete information of the stats and if they have been modified. Base stats and stat boosts are also displayed. Item information such as supply/demand, store sell/buy price, street sell/buy price, and predicted prices for the next 3 months can also be accessed. All information can be looked at piece by piece or many at one time. By using this information Sophia can tell how reasonably fast the player should die to make it seem like she has not hacked the game as well as if it is even worth the time to do so.

*PvP stat adjustment: When fighting in PvP Sophia's actual stats lower to 250 or 30 above her opponent's corresponding/counterpart (i.e. attack/defense, agility, perception) stat; whichever is higher is what it is set to. This adds to the illusion of having not hacked the game. Health is the one that never changes, although what everyone (other than Sophia) sees inflicted to Galleta is altered to be proportionally correct.

Poison making: The user can make poisons. The poison can be in liquid or solid forms. Effects vary between damage over time (aka DoT), temporary paralysis, magic point value (MPV) drain, and temporary stat drains. In the liquid forms it can vary in thickness to allow it to coat blades or other points to being the same consistency as water. Require Assassin class and 25 Perception.

Bomb making: The user can create smoke, shrapnel, flash, and sound based bombs. In addition the user can add in poisons or potions for additional effects.

Rapid restore: Recovers from DoT effects 3 times faster than normal.

Activated: (Activated for one time instant effect; one time cost that varies in amount)
Mark of Death: Although nothing actually happens to the target, the user can use this ability to locate the target within 200 yards. Once the target moves 300 yards away Mark
of Death loses its effect. In order to use this one must have a total of 50 Perception. One time activation cost of 10 MPV.

Lacerate: The user makes a swift cut on crucial points of the opponent's body causing them to lose 5% of maximum health every post the target makes. The duration is 10% of the afflicted person's health rounded down. Minimum duration is 2 posts. In order to use this one must have a total of 30 Perception.

*Advanced Teleport: Once activated Sophia can have her character teleport to any location she desires to go. When arriving at her desired location Assassin in plain sight is
active right away.

Sustained: (Toggled on or off; costs vary)
Assassin in plain sight: When active the user's Perception is multiplied by 3. Attacking automatically turns this skill off. If this skill is activated then other boosts to Perception via skills are negated for the duration. Also while this is active the player cannot be seen on any minimap. MPV is reduced to a maximum of 10 while active.

Assassin Stealth: While active the user's Perception is multiplied by 2.5 and their maximum damage is 30% of the normal. Upon dealing damage this skill is deactivated. Activating this skill removes all other skill boosts. Uses 15 MPV per post.

History

Sophia grew up in one of the worst parts of the city as a child. Her father, David, was an abusive drunk (to both Sophia and her mother) that ended up drinking himself to death by the time Sophia was 11. Her mother, Jenell, never did anything to stop the abuse and even cried when David died. Jenell blamed Sophia for David's death and, for all Sophia knows, still does. In order to pay the rent and put food on the table Jenell had to resort to prostitution. As far as anyone outside the apartment room ever knew Sophia was home schooled. This, however, was not the case as Sophia had never seen anything related to school ever come in the front door.

Sophia was very bright despite this and taught herself programming and hacking while her mother was not home. Upon reaching age 16 Sophia was a freelance programmer for small companies that later built off of her ideas and started to make millions in profit. Her only charge was $100 per 5 gigabytes of programming. When Sophia turned 18
she moved out from her mother and never spoke to the woman again. Sophia got her own computer and paid in cash for everything she paid for, including the game called
Hero's Squal.

Sophia started the game when it the first day it came out. On her first day of playing she started out not hacking but still reached level 20 within hours of playing non-stop. After that she went for something more challenging.....hacking the creators of Hero's Squall. Sophia drained all the money they had and gave various problems in the game itself. Even though Sophia did this she had no plans of really holding the game and its player hostage. In fact she made a program to wire money from the money she took from the creators to keep the funding going.

This still wasn't enough for Sophia so she decided to hack her stats and skills to make her invincible. In addition she made it so that anyone that looked at her character would only see a normal level 20 Assassin class female character named Galleta.

While playing she started to help other players occasionally, but when someone tried to follow Galleta they would lose track of her in a dead end hallway. Thanks to this many rumors and nicknames came up about her. She was called things like a god by those that teamed up with her; a ghost by those that have only tried to follow her; and from those that had never seen her before, a myth. However, when the admins looked in on the character called Galleta they only found a someone maximizing the use of a level 20 assassin. Nothing about Galleta or the player, Sophia, seemed suspicious.

So begins...

Galleta used here teleport skill to get to the pillaged farm lands, the Assassin in plain sight skill activating right away to hide any hint that the girl was there at all. Off in the distance she could see someone fighting a goblin, not seeming to be on the winning side of things. Quickly Galleta made her way over there and as she got about twenty feet away removed her Assassin in plain sight and spoke in an angelically sweet voice, "Might you need some help young summoner? I have a great deal of experience in this game and would be willing to offer my assistance if you wish. Maybe just a health or mana potion or two if nothing else?" By the sounds of it a 17 or 18 year old female spoke but the voice belonged to a character which looked to be about 25 or so it seemed. Upon examining Galleta's stats the one fighting the goblin would see stats for a level 20 assassin with really good equipment attached rather than what hidden truth.

"Well it seems you did okay against that one but here," Galleta handed a health potion to the summoner. "The name's Galleta by the way and that potion will give you sixty percent of your total health. I have some more so don't be shy about taking it. Also I have some mana potions if you need it." Galleta smiled, her eyes staying hidden from view thanks to the hood all this time. "If your doing that mission of killing twenty goblins either you have nineteen left or you have some potions of your own. Want some assistance killing the rest?"

If the summoner accepted Galleta's offer she would respond by activating Assassin in plain sight followed by a simple, "Lead the way young one." Then finally following the summoner to the next target. Galleta's voice would seem to come from nowhere as she spoke, almost making it seem like a ghost was helping the player out.

If denied then Galleta would still Activate Assassin in plain sight, but rather than following the summoner head off in her own direction without another word.

As she walked Galleta spoke to herself in a quiet voice that could only be heard if right next to her. "The summoner boy missed out on getting help from a powerful player. Oh well his loss." The assassin walked around aimlessly and eventually found herself in the Grassy Field and decided to lay down in the cool grass as a soft breeze blew across causing the grass to gently sway. Galleta wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings, and if it were not for her Assassin in plain sight skill she could be easily ambushed by anyone, anything, or even any group. Although, even with her level twenty Perception of 323 being multiplied by three that gave her a whopping 969 Perception. Plenty to avoid detection of anything in the game. Although thanks to her hacking she actually had nearly 4,000 Perception with her Assassin in plain sight skill active.

Galleta was bored in the feild alone, 'I wonder when that knight is going to be getting on.' Specifically she meant Samantha, or Lucretai as she was known in-game, which was the only one in the game of Hero's Squall that knew Sophia was the hacker. 'Might as well send her a message for when she gets on,' Galleta thought as she pulled out a piece of paper and an ink tipped feather and began to write.

Lucretai meet me in the Grassy Field on the hill where I first told you about my skills. I'll be laying down waiting for you.
Galleta

By skills Galleta was sure Lucretai would know hacking skills and not game skills. Besides, the hill Galleta was at was the only hill she ever laid down on in the Grassy Field since it was one of very few any monsters or players came to. It also was some of the softest grass in the game, or so Galleta thought. With the letter done Galleta tossed it into the air and the message was sent. Although very few people chose this method of sending a message to other players Galleta tended to like that style best as it allowed for her to use her actual elegant and highly legible hand writing in the game.

Somewhere in the grassy fields nearby Galleta a woman wearing indigo colored metal shoulder pads was fidgeting with a similar colored tie across her chest. She quickly finished tying the knot very tightly and brushed her gloves against her periwinkle colored metal leg bracers. Her darker indigo eyes gazed down at her folds of her taut tummy, he long lavender hair drooping down slightly from her shoulders as she did. Across her back was a shield and at her hip a long sword.

"Sometimes I really wonder why I think I'm still so fat." the woman muttered in a depressed tone, "Even with Galleta's help my character still seems to have the biggest hips in the game. I'm sure all the girls in my class are so much thinner looking than this. I suppose it's okay though considering though that I've seen my mother before and she seems to have a wider based body once you look down at her legs. Not that I care, but since I'm still somewhat-"

The girl stopped complaining when a message appeared across her screen for her eyes only. It was a piece of brown tarnished paper magically floating in the air and the moment she touched it the paper uncurled with the inscribed message.

Lucretia meet me in the Grassy Field on the hill where I first told you about my skills. I'll be laying down waiting for you."
-Galetta

Lucretia pulled out a pen from the folds of her skirt and wrote back on it below her note in a long winded, irritated manner.

Sorry, sorry. I had to finish school work before I could log on. Then when I did I realized my armor was coming undone. I had to fix that you know, so I'm really sorry if I come by a little late. Whatever we have to talk about it better let me either lose a few pounds or get me better armor. Every time I end up fighting I feel like the material on my clothing is going to snap. I hate the game designers... :(
-Love, Lucretia

Once Lucretia was done she began running in Galleta's direction to find out what she wanted and came upon the hill she was talking about, the only hill in the area. She saw Galleta resting at the top and walked to her. When she got to her she bent down and said, "Hi, I'm here."

Just as Lucretai came up Galleta finished reading the message she sent. "Good to see ya. How was your day? Same as usual, or did anything special happen at school this time?" Galleta said is a soft, kind voice as she stood up and deactivated Assassin in plain sight. Once receiving as answer from the Knight Galleta continued, "Today we will work on finding a target and escaping from someone. You will have access to limited items I will supply to do this. In this bag are all you may use beyond your armor and weapon." Galleta holds out a decent sized pack with a good amount of weight. "A secondary goal is to attack your target, and damaging your target is not needed."

Inside the bag were two impact smoke bombs, two impact de-buff smoke bomb, a single tripwire toxic smoke bomb, and five throwing knives. Along with all of that there was a piece of paper with the description of the target. 'A level 15 female ninja, long purple hair, does not seem to be able to see.' From the sounds of it most people would assume the ninja is blind, which in a game like this, would be odd. Along with the description it gave a general area within Camaraderie for where the target should be at.

(Yes the target is my new character I am making. Let me post her profile up real quick. You can decide to go and search before or after I make the profile/intro post for the character.)

Lucretia took the bag from the bag from Galleta and held it firmly in her right hand. "So, in this bag are things I have use to help me fight someone that we need to get rid of?" Lucretia was confused for a moment.

"Why does it have to be a girly ninja?" she added before also saying, "Oh, if you want to know about my day though too I had a horrible one. Some girls dumped paint in my hair and I had to wash it out, although I looked like a blue berry the rest of the day." Galleta always had a way of getting to the point on what she wanted done, but what she wanted Lucretia to do today seemed a bit much.

Although Galleta clearly didn't look too happy about what happened to Samantha at school she didn't go further on the subject. "We don't need her permanently gone, just a test of skill on both sides of the fight. This ninja is unique in her combat and seems to hold he own against others her own level and even a bit higher regardless of class." Galleta gave a slight smirk, a sign that she had something planned even bigger than this; however, this was clearly a necessary stepping stone that needed completed first. "And one more thing: never assume that the enemy doesn't know when you plan to strike."

With that said Galleta teleported off, leaving Lucretai to her task at hand. As Galleta arrived at the boarder of the Grassy Field closest to Camaraderie she looked back into the distance towards Lucretai, though too far to even see her as a spec. "I wonder how dear Lucretai will do against sweet Cathrine. After all that girl always seems to have a surprise or two up her sleeve." With that Galleta started off to get a good view of the coming match.

When the Administrator logged out of the game a strange message popped up on his computer screen with a warning. "Game system indicates frequent activity between two characters "Galleta" and "Lucretia" please watch out for them sir."

The Administrator had barely gotten over the groggy feeling of moving in and out of the game before he slowly nodded at the computer. "Continue to watch frequently meeting characters, just in case they might be doing bad things." he ordered.

Striker gave a sigh as the knight started to beg for mercy. "Get up, if you don't want to fight anymore then just say so. It's not like I am going to attack an unwilling fighter unlike what my neighbor might do to someone." Striker started to put her blind fold back on but left the weights off for now. Once she did so Striker took a scan around to see if she could finish the request for the random player on the notice board. "Hey, by any chance have you seen a knight with a pair of earrings and PK'ing others for their items?"

Just as Striker asked this question Galleta appeared near the two as she removed her Assassin in plain sight. "Speak of the devil. Galleta I didn't think you would be on at this time. I thought you had some things to do before dinner as of yet."

By the looks of what Striker said she knew who Galleta was.

Galleta looked to Striker and gave a toying smile, "This was that thing. I posted a false notice up to lure you out here so Lucretai here could continue her training, this time with items. Seems she didn't realize that you were the one I was talking about in the note. Oh and dinner will be ready at 6:30 if you want to come over Striker." Galleta then looked over to the knight who was clearly not using the items in her bag. "You didn't really look over the items in the bag did you? You had all the things needed to escape this the moment Stirker here waited for you to get up. A smoke bomb for concealing yourself and then the toxic smoke bomb to stun Striker. Using those you could have gotten some distance and even attempted to find a hiding place if needed. Next time try checking the items you receive as soon as you get them." Galleta gave a kind smile and offered a hand up, "However, you were smart enough not to take a losing battle. That is something that could be of great aid in the future."

From the sounds of things Galleta and Striker knew one another in real life, and were close enough to eat dinner together to top things off.

Lucretia stood up from the ground and cried, "Why are you stopping me from fighting Striker! She's been pestering me with an annoying question or two and I tell you I don't have the earrings you speak of. Unfortunately, I might have tried to land the first strike, but oh well, we've started a fight and we have to finish it." She addressed Galleta.

She overheard Galleta and Striker speak about dinner together and as she brandished her sword out in front of her again said, "Move aside, I don't care for the fact taht you two live close enough to have dinner together." As a final act of defiance Lucretia threw the bag off her shoulders and growled at Striker, "Let's finish this fight."

At this point it is good to note that Sophia was breaking her normal boundaries of pretending to be who she was not. She was letting her childish side rule over her and had a desire to win. As of late no one had wanted to challenge her and that was boring. How could she attain the title of goddess over the entire game if she wasn't even allowed to finish one fight. Secretly though she was glad Galleta had stepped in because Lucretia knew ninjas were supposed to be fast characters, but she had never seem agility like Striker's on a regular character.

Galleta looked to Lucretai as she seemed determined to finish the fight. "Very well, if Striker here would be kind enough as to oblige you I have no reason to stand in the way." Galleta said as she took a couple steps back for the fight to start up.

Striker gave a smile to Lucretai and removed her blind fold once again. "It seems that if I don't your honor might be stained. As you desire I shall fight you, but bare in mind I won't hold back." Striker said as she readied her daggers, "Here I come," the ninja said as she started at the knight.
-----
Agility check:

Striker: 917 vs. Lucretai: 33
Striker goes first.
-----

Striker's blades not only used bother her Magic and Attack stats to do damage but also where magic based hits. To add to things it seemed that her blades became engulfed in flames as Striker's skill called Ninja Element: Katon came into use. With Striker's Agility so high even the creators of the game wouldn't be able to get the first hit in without any boosts. With Striker having 884 more Agility than Lucretai many would be surprised if Lucretai could even see the movements of the speedy movements. Within the blink of an eye Striker was right next to Lucretai with one of the Blood Twin blades coming in for a strike on Lucretai's arm.
-----
Magic check:

Striker: 249 vs. Lucretai: 0
Striker wins and does 7 extra fire damage.

If the attack hit it would deal a really high amount of magic based damage and even an additional seven thanks to the fire based element Striker had.

If Lucretai managed to survive the attack somehow Striker would her Clone ability and have five clones of herself appear at the cost of 75 magic points. Upon being examined each clone had half the stats of the original, which would cause problems for just about anyone.

(You actually get two attacks you know, but Lucretia won't even survive the first one.)

Lucretia watched in horror as Striker aimed for her arm and slashed at it. flames engulfed her body as she was dealt massive amounts of damage from one attack. "Geez, and she had a second attack too." Lucretia thought as in the real world the person behind the character, Sophia Higgins, banged her head, on her desk and sobbed. She moved a pointer clicker towards a revival button and hoped Galleta or Striker would revive her. Her avatar was on the ground covered in flames and slowly being turned into a crispy ash.

(Man, now I think I might know what I need to do to re-balance the game or at least start that process.)

Striker looked at the knight, now sprawled on the ground, burning to a crisp. Once the flames subsided Striker went over and waved her hand over the body. With that, and the use of 10 magic points, Lucretai was revived. "Don't sweat that loss, if I were at your level I would have had a much more difficult time than that. And if you could get the first hit with a specialty move then I might not survive only having 74 health and all." After reviving the knight Striker pulled out a bag from her inventory and tossed it to Lucretai. "Use this on a piece of your armor. I found that Echater's dust when killing knights controlled by Karena. It wasn't a drop but it was near that area. It will give that item +10 mafic and a 5% magic damage reduction. I figure if you are going to work under Galleta here you will need that."

Galleta didn't speak a word and decided to see how things played out before doing anything.

"Oh boy, magic dust, you realize I'm a knight right? I don't need much magic power and I don't know how you got that because I'm almost sure knights don't drop that kind of stuff although I could be wrong... What kind of knights were they?" Lucretia stated as she stood up and glared at Striker. Her legs were a bit unstable as she reached out with a shaky hand and grabbed the item from Striker. She tossed it inside of the sack that Galleta had given her earlier.

(Um, okay, I was not expecting that. I suppose I can do something to make what you gave Lucretia official, but I will have to add that into the area itself. Also did Galleta gain the items she gave Lucretia from monsters or did she buy them or something?)

"I simply found it laying on the ground. For all I know a player could have dropped it for one reason or another." Striker said before looking to the sky, admiring how well done things were for the different senses in this game.

Galleta looked to Lucretai with a gentle smile, "Magic is just as important to a knight as it is for any other class. After all it protects you from magical hits in addition to helping with magical based damage. Keep in mind that just because you can hit hard it doesn't mean you will always win." With how much Galleta seemed to know half the time she could possibly be the best player in the game even if she didn't hack to get where she was.

(The item Striker gave Lucretai doesn't have to be added. It could just be an item a player lost when they died. Also the different bombs Galleta gave Lucretai were made with Galleta's Bomb making passive skill.)

"Wow, so you're telling me you just found this lying around?" Lucretia said as she watched Striker look up into the sky. This area off the game had a bright sun overhead, so she hoped that the girl was smart enough not to look at it too long. Apparently, the game developers had made the game realistic enough to cause people to go blind if they looked at bright objects too long, or so the rumors said. It was almost as thought they were trying to imitate the real world to the point that no person would ever log off the game.

She heard Galleta's words of advice and turned to face her, sticking her tongue out at the woman and complaining in a long winded manner, "I may act outright childish and very childish, but I'm smart you know. I've not gone ahead and raised any of my magical abilities at this point and time because I kept getting attacked physically so often by the monsters around here it annoyed me to the point that I decided I would be the ultimate physical wall of defiance. So far I've had only a few players fight me, but every time they've stupidly charged me with their swords and weapons they've just gone and taken quite the heavy beating from me when their swords have gotten caught on armor." She sighed and added, "Well, truth be told I don't know how that works. I'm almost literally wearing nothing. Still I've had people slash at my abdomen and they've not even cut me, so I don't really get it, but I suppose that's game mechanics for you. I think I'll be finding something a little bit less exposing if that keeps up. My weapons and armor are rather pitiful for my level."

Striker then looked as if something just dawned on her. "Wait a second, if Galleta is the one that put up that notice and it was just to lure me here then....." Striker turned towards Galleta with a frown on her face, "There was never any Time ring reward was there? The entire idea was just a ruse to get me out here wasn't it?"

"Bin-bong! Right on the dot little ninja," Galleta chuckled a bit as she said this. She knew that Striker couldn't resist helping those in need, no matter how small it was; well on a game anyway, not so much in real life. "You are way too easy to predict Striker. I know everything about ya, in more ways than you think." Galleta chuckled at that since that was the truth, there wasn't much about Striker that Galleta didn't know.

"I am not easy to predict," shouted Striker as she came in to attack Galleta. However, Galleta was too fast for the ninja even and grabbed Striker's hands before anything could happen, giving a smirk as she did so. "Meany, you never let me have fun," Striker's voice was clearly joking when she spoke the last time. From the looks of it Galleta and Striker had been together for a long time.

"Lucretai, keep this in mind: this little ninja here is only strong thanks to the Monkey's paw she found early on when playing. That charm makes rare items as easy to find as common ones. Thanks to that she has mostly rare items equipped, and that includes those weights and the blind fold." Galleta gave a smile to her apprentice as she let go of Striker, sure that she wouldn't attack again.

"Whatever," Lucretia muttered as she sheathed her sword and slung her shield on her back. "I'll be leaving now so unless you all have any reason for me really being here I'm going to leave."

She walked over to the bag Galetta had given her, bent down, and lifted it with her back over her shoulder. "I've got a three page book report to write right now, so I might log off to go ahead and do it." she spoke to the two without looking at them. "I only caught a glimpse of your speed Catherine, but I'll tell you this, don't anger Galleta. She's so fast she's nearly made my computer crash twice when I'm hunting in the same area as her. Luckily, after realizing this I went out and bought software to upgrade my graphic card, that seemed to be the problem, but I don't want any flashy or fancy fights on screen while I'm gone."

She turned her head around and winked at the two women and said letting her periwinkle hair fall down over her shoulders in a disorganized fashion, "You might blow my computer up again and I get mad as a bear when that happens."
