Hidden Power:
Metal Manipulation/Ferrokinesis: a rare power indeed, Ferrokinesis is a power that gives the user the ability to manipulate, or rather completely control metal in any form. One can pull “raw” metal from the earth, one can shape metal into whatever they wish, and one can fuse metal with other things to gain control of them. Nehemiah has had a fortunate chance to learn about his rare power at a young age, yet hardly has the training necessary to fully control it. He has a few techniques, or skills he’s acquired due to his power.

- Metal Maniac || Nehemiah utilizes his power by creating objects of various metals to use defensively or offensively. He is quite knowledgeable in the elements, particularly his own.
- Metallic Sense & Strength || Nehemiah can sense the types of metals found naturally within the world as well as man-made metals. Even the iron in one’s blood can be used as a catalyst for Nehemiah to sense others. Nehemiah’s strength does equate to that of the hardest of metals.
- Ferro Armor || Upon command an array of various metals will cling to Nehemiah, and although metal is quite heavy, Nehemiah is not weighted down by any of it, in fact he can move as swiftly as any other. Of course the armor can take various shapes and allow various outcomes, for instance a set of metallic wings can issue in flight.

Personality: Nehemiah is a fighter, he always has been. At first look one would not believe that Nehemiah is gay. If you were to meet him on the street you would think he is your normal run of the mill guy who loves to have fun, and that is truly the essence of who he is, part of who he is. His sexual orientation is but a part of his being. Aside from being very accepting and down to earth, he tends to have a short temper when dealing with stupidity. He doesn't consider himself better than anyone. His goals in life are to make it through high school, graduate and take the path less traveled by his family.

Likes/Dislikes: Quite easily on the top of his list of things he dislikes is bullies. It took him some time to come to terms with who he is, all of who he is, and bullies bring out the worst in him. Another thing he dislikes is snobs, or people who feel like they are better than others with a "got it like that" attitude. He tends to stray away from those types of people. While he does enjoy long walks on the beach and training his body, Nehemiah can also be seen reading a book, cooking and even shopping with those he can safely call "friends." He absolutely hates being put into a situation that he doesn't feel comfortable, but most of the time he will roll with it and show that he is versatile in many ways. Tempted with perfection, Nehemiah loves the flaws in everyone, but looks so closely at his own flaws as obstacles to overcome. He likes being optimistic, but dislikes those who are more depressing than a soap opera.

Appearance: Nehemiah stands at a decent five foot eight inches. He normally wears monotone colors, but when he wants to he can be quite colorful. He has short black hair that he may dye different colors whenever he is in the mood. It is often spiked in some sort of style. He has a very athletic build, a swimmer's build if you will. His abdomen is sculpted with years of exercise. His eyes are a beautiful hazel in color, almost to the point of a soft gray. Most are enthralled by his eyes as they seem to hold many mysteries that are unknown to even Nehemiah. The black jacket he normally wears with leather straps sewn uniquely and stylishly in place was a gift from his ex boyfriend and he wears it for sentimental reasons. He loves to tan, and so his skin is a nice soft tan compared to other Thais. Nehemiah has always been fashion forward and tends to wear the best. He blends female and male fashion together to form hi own style, even going as far as to wear women's wedge heel knee high boots with male skinny jeans.

“So.... are we gonna talk about it? I mean he is cute!”

History: Born into the Namikawa family, a prestigious family in Thailand, Nehemiah was the last child his parents would or rather could ever have. The doctor informed his mother that after having one child prior, his older sister, if she were to have any more children she could die. Nehemiah was indeed a blessing. Life was rather restricted at first. His parents didn't want him to be too adventurous, but they wanted him to have enough freedom to not resent them. Life for Nehemiah was indeed awkward. Throughout all his days in school, he made several friends, but it never failed that when he proceeded to the next grade, those friends would have to move. The cycle of becoming friends and never seeing them again was heart wrenching, and yet Nehemiah never stopped being friendly towards others. He began to be more selective of who he called friend though, as he transitioned into Middle School. It was also around this time when his parents began to push him to do more. They wanted him to be successful, and they would see to it that he did, even if he just wanted to live life to the fullest. They put him in several extracurricular activities including a few with his uncle and aunt. All was good for the most part. He went to school and to those extracurricular activities, never once complaining. Life was like a calendar for him. It wasn't fun like he wanted. The only time he had fun was with his uncle who was a fighter. He taught Nehemiah to embrace every moment as if it were the last.

At the age of 14, when he was entering into his Freshman year of high school he found his uncle dead in his home. No one knows how he died, but Nehemiah took it the hardest. He became distant, more isolated, and slightly colder in his demeanor. He wouldn't speak to others unless it was a teacher. Even his parents noticed this about him. Everything started to change once the explosion happened in Japan. The darkness that crept into the hearts of those who had witnessed it changed their lives forever. It was a sad time for all of Asia. Nehemiah's parents wanted nothing more but for their son to be safe. Nehemiah wanted to find out what caused the explosion in the first place. As things began to return to some form of normalcy, Nehemiah began to open up more. Now in his senior year in high school, he is setting goals and making moves to ensure he has a great life ahead.

Quite honestly he hadn’t thought about his past ever since he arrived at New Haven. What was the point of dwelling on the past when the future looked just as bleak? Nehemiah sighed with an unamused expression as he watched the TV in front of him blare on about destruction and chaos. Was there anything else the news could report on besides the negative? He was going to be late for school that much was apparent as the time clicked away without him making a single move to get ready. Finally a knock jarred Nehemiah from his thoughts and he glared at the door.

“Yes?” he responded.

“You’re going to be late for school Miho,” a female voice as gentle as the voice of an angel came from beyond the door. “Besides, it’s the beginning of a new year at the Academy.”

“Don’t remind me,” Nehemiah retorted as he pushed up in the bed into a sitting position. “The thought alone is why I’m still in bed.”

“Nehemiah Namikawa, get out of that bed this instant!” his mother warned as she knocked one last time, “you have fifteen minutes.”

Nehemiah could hear her footsteps as she made her way down the corridor and into the kitchen. As much as he loathed going to school, he knew his uncle would want him to better his education and go to college. This pathway was simple to accomplish, but it’s easier said than done. If it isn’t one thing with the teachers at the Academy, it’s another with the various cliques and awful excuses for human beings that attend the school. His friends had all dispersed after past events. Some went to America, some went to the UK and some just moved to different parts of Asia too far to remain in contact. Even online communication wasn’t enough to keep them all together. One by one they dropped off the radar until only a select few remained. Nehemiah sometimes wondered if it was worth the hassle to make new friends. It irritated him that there were so many missed opportunities, but he wasn’t even sure if he was ready for more relationships to form. Sliding into the shower, he let the warm liquid ease his troubled mind, and when the bathroom was filled with steam, he made his exit. Towel dried and ready to go, he partook of the chore known as getting dressed. One by one he pulled on a piece to his outfit, and when he was done with that, he began to accessorize. A necklace around his neck, a bracelet to add attention to his perfectly manicured hands, it was all meant to show that he was a guy just like any other guy but his facial features betrayed what he was going for.

The ride to the Academy was a peaceful one. Nehemiah sat on the monorail with his head tilted back and his eyes closed. He was blissfully aware of his surroundings but he didn’t care in the slightest. The bell dinged signaling that his stop was next. Gazing out of a nearby window his mind began to delve into the world of divination. It was scary when his mind decided to wander into the future of others around him. This time it was no different. He sensed death, darkness; it all came rushing at once. The stench was unbelievable and as the monorail rolled up to his stop, Nehemiah scrambled to get off before puking on the lovely marble that supported his feet. On lookers seemed worried for him, one even managing to touch his shoulder and ask if he was alright.

“I’m fine,” he replied panting slightly. He would be fine. It wasn’t the first time this had happened. He was afraid to tell anyone. He didn’t know what this was, or how to control it, or if it was controllable. He didn’t have time to worry about it though as the clock was ticking and he’d be late soon if he didn’t arrive at the Academy.

Putting himself back together, he hurried off towards the Academy. Passing familiar faces, he smiled and waved and as he neared the famed steps of the Academy, he couldn’t help but wonder what this year would hold.

“Hi Neho,” a familiar voice rang out as Nehemiah turned just in time to be tackled with a hug by a overly exuberant young girl. Nehemiah laughed softly before pulling the girl off of him realizing her to be one of his friends that moved away.

“Mia, what are you doing here?” Nehemiah asked in surprise.

“Well you see my dad moved back while my mom stayed in California, so I had a choice to make and it wasn’t easy. Dad was called back on assignment,” Mia replied still with a unnerving grin on her face.

“Guess that means you’re back for a while huh?” Nehemiah replied as the conversation began. The two talked for a while, walking down the hall and entering the Academy. The conversation lasted the entire walk until Nehemiah had to go to class.

“Catch you later Mia,” Nehemiah said giving her a friendly kiss on the cheek before entering the classroom and finding his table.
