Tanya has a variety of different styles for different occasions. She loves to dress up and look nice, but she can't always look great and wear dresses and heels with the situations she often finds herself in. When she knows that she will be doing a lot of physical work, Tanya likes to wear darker, more comfortable clothes. This usually consists of leggings or yoga pants and a black t-shirt or hoodie. She loves her tennis shoes, but only owns one pair since she moves around so much. Tanya is naturally tan considering her heritage, but she likes to lay out if she has the chance. She likes the dark look. She keeps the makeup to a minimum, usually with a shy lip color and a bit of eyeliner and mascara.

Martial Artist || Tan's parents convinced her to take up Wing Chun - a Chinese martial art - when she was thirteen. She competed in a few tournaments over seas in her father's hometown, but never went very far with it. It was not until S.E.A. that her skills were truly enhanced.
Master of Psychology || With the help of S.E.A. and two and a half years of college education, Tanya knows how to get in your head. Her talent and knowledge is so advanced that she can almost read minds. She is the groups first person when it comes to interrogations or mind games.
Skilled Torturer || Like previously stated, Tanya knows how to interrogate. Not only this, but she also knows all the methods of physically torturing someone too. Even though she is petite in stature, you don't want to be on her bad side.

P E R S O N A L I T Y T R A I T S
Intelligent || Tan inherited some smarts from both Heidi and Mu, but she also worked hard in grade school and college to learn a lot about the world and what her part in it is. That, paired with the knowledge she gained artificially through S.E.A., she has grown into a "psychology mastermind," as she likes to call herself.
Focused || Tanya knows the job at hand. She can focus her whole attention on one thing in need be, but she can also multitask like her life depends on it and get everything done right. Tanya stands out from other people because she is so strongly dedicated to her "work" and the person she's become, but also to keeping herself and her partners alive.
Disorganized || This girl is not the neatest person on the squad. Almost everything she does is cluttered, but somehow it works for her. The positive side is that she has been like this for her whole life so she knows how to deal with it. It is almost a lifestyle, this messiness. The negative side is that it can distract and bring down the people she is working with, because it is hard to understand her thought process.
Narrow-minded || It is Tanya's way or the highway. If she has a goal, she wants it down her way. She has very strict ideas and thoughts because of the way and the setting in which she was raised. She will often become upset if people change direction without letting her know or want to do something she doesn't agree with.

The Dark || Also a dumb phobia. She knows this one is irrational, and there is probably nothing lurking in the dark waiting to get her, but there is always that thought in the back of her mind.

D R E A M S
Find out about her past || Everyone who was brainwashed by the government during S.E.A. wants this back. Tanya really wants to know more about her family and where she came from, and her memories are coming back little by little.
Going to school || Tanya is aware that she was in college at one point, and she would really like to return. She doesn't recall where she went or what it was like, but she wants to experience it again.
Having children || Tanya doesn't have a family, but she knows she is one to be very family-oriented. Seeing young children around breaks her heart a little because she wants a few kids of her own.

H I S T O R Y
Mu Lin and Heidi Rubbens met in Nanjing, China when they were both seventeen years old. Heidi's father, a wealthy businessman, had moved their family there for a year to teach business classes at a nearby university. Heidi didn't speak a word of Mandarin, and Mu knew very little English. This did not stop them from sleeping together one Saturday night after a wild party. Neither of them planned on furthering the relationship until Heidi found out she was pregnant. The Rubbens family - composed of Heidi's parents and younger sister, Hayley - had planned to move back to Texas three months later, but Heidi's parents decided to extend the stay one year, and convinced her to keep the baby. The teen didn't want Mu to be involved at all, and believed that she would be able to drop out of school and handle a baby on her own. But Mu wanted to be in the child's life, and refused to let Heidi keep it away. When the little girl was born, the government tried to take her away. Heidi and her family were forced to flee back to their home country one night to avoid losing the baby, who was at the time named Tanya Jo Rubbens.

When Tanya Jo was two years old, she was in daycare and Heidi was taking classes at a community college to get her associate's degree in marketing to get a public relations job within her father's steadily-growing business. One Sunday morning, the Rubbens family came home to find a taxi cab parked in their driveway. Sitting in the driver's seat was none other than Mu Lin. He explained to Mr. Rubbens (since he was the only one who could speak Mandarin) that he had moved to Texas six months ago to look for Heidi and Tanya. He found a job as a taxi driver and had made a small living. He even owned an apartment five miles away. Heidi still didn't want anything to do with Mu, but Mr. and Mrs. Rubbens demanded that she move in with him and change Tanya's last name to "Lin."

Tanya's childhood was similar to most others. She played tee ball, went through an awkward middle school phase, and slacked off her freshmen year of high school to hang out with boys. Mu had taken up a job with Mr. Rubbens as a production manager, and Heidi was climbing her way up the business ladder to one day take over the whole company. The "couple" were still not married, but did consider each other boyfriend/girlfriend. This was the only strange part of Tanya's life. Her family was much different than the rest of her friends', who was parents in loving relationships and multiple siblings. Tanya graduated high school tenth in her class, and went to Rice University to major in psychology, a topic she loved since childhood. She absolutely loved college life, and enjoyed studying and being a part of some of the clubs at Rice. She finally felt like a normal girl.

When walking home from her Foundations of Cognitive Psychology class during her junior year, late at night, Tanya was grabbed by two men in suits and sunglasses and was shoved in the backseat of a black minivan. One of the men held a cloth over her mouth, and she passed out. She woke up on a lab table, with no idea how much time had passed. There was a tall woman in a lab coat sitting in a chair across the room, writing down notes on a clipboard. She explained to Tanya that she was now a part of Operation S.E.A. For three whole years, she underwent horrible experiments and tests to turn her into some kind of psychology mastermind. At the end of these long, harsh years, she was highly dangerous both physically and mentally. She was used for missions mainly based in Asian countries, including assassinating the famous Kim Jong-un of North Korea and taking out some of the big military men in Afghanistan.

Tanya and the other agents of S.E.A. were thrown out like trash after the war. They were brainwashed one last time and sent out into the real world. Tanya still could recall some things from her past, but they were minuscule details that came in the form of flashbacks. Little things like her college dorm room layout or her first pet's name. Being the psychology pro she is, she hopes she will be able to help her and her partners uncover their pasts, and make things as normal as possible. Not that anything in her life has ever been normal.

So begins...

She was living like a vampire at this point. Not wanting to risk her identity in the daylight, she only went out at night. Checking her watch it read 10:45pm. Where the fuck are they? She wasn't always so anxious, but considering just two weeks ago she witnessed Jason's murder, another assassin, before her very eyes. Not doubt it was the other assassins hired by the government to terminate their little "guinea pigs". And there wasn't a thing she could of done. Sure, she could of easily gunned down the other man or woman, but not in broad daylight. There were too many innocent lives at stake for a full out gun battle. So for now, she stuck to the cover of night. It was harder to detect them then.

Waiting in the empty warehouse for the others to join to talk details, she warily watched the doors and widows. If anyone other than those she knew walked or climbed in, she'd be ready. The guns she kept concealed under her light jacket were ready to use at a moments notice. But for now, they were stashed away. She checked her watch again, growing impatient. Pacing the floor with her arms crossed across her chest, she waited.

As she waited she heard the sounds of a helicopter flying overhead. Memories flashed before her. The sounds of gunfire going off, and utter chaos surrounding her. Before when she wasn't, "herself", she would jump from helicopters, planes, buildings, you name it. Getting to her target was all that had mattered. "Do what you were trained to do." It repeated itself over and over again in her head, like a broken record. And she did. She'd killed without a moment's notice, and without remorse. But that was the, and this is now. Now she had remorse. She wasn't simply a mindless animal bent on doing the government's dirty work.

Taking a seat in one of the fold up chairs available all over the warehouse, she sat and took out her gun. Looking it over and checking the clip to make sure it was full. Funny how such a small weapon could weigh so much. As she began to polish her weapon, she leaned back and kept watch for the other Operation S.E.A. former recruits.
