Dahlia Marzipan Gomphrey
"But you can call me Marzi, or Doll."

A youthful woman dressed in a modest cream gown blister her soft hands as she scrubs the dirtied dishes. The lower part of her torso, right above her hips, was pressed against the counter as she scrubbed a pot vigorously, leaning in close to the sink. Her enchantingly dark, maroon hair was tucked behind her ears. The shorter strands of her layered coiffure locks curl around her earlobe and continue to curl past her shoulders. Her long, slender legs tense as she had been standing in the kitchen for a while. She absolutely detested it when the household had feasts.

This was unusual. Dahlia, also known as Marzi or Doll, was actually quiet. She didn't flick her sinful tongue at anyone today. That was because she was alone. She was only neurotic when others were around. It was no fun to be that way when no one would be around to see her. She had only seen one person today, and that was King. He wasn't in the mood to socialize though. He didn't bother to react to her absurd efforts to make him cross. Strange. She pouted, her eyebrows furrowing as she hung up the last dry pan. Dahlia grabbed the sopping wet towel that hung on a hook beside the sink and squeezed it so droplets would fly. It wasn't very dry, but she attempted to use it to dry her hands anyway. Today better not be boring. Her hazel green hues flicker to the door. Her kitchen shift hadn't ended yet. King ordered her to stay in the kitchen until lunch break. It was only ten in the morning.

"Just a two hour difference. Not like he'd notice anyway." She tosses the towel behind her with no remorse and skips over to the kitchen door like a giddy little girl.

"If he does, it'd just be the heaps more fun." She clasps her hands together in delight. Oh how she loved to see the rage pour out of him like magma sizzling underneath the surface. Scorching hot with venom-like hatred. It was simply arousing.

Celeste Tempina

Celeste furiously swept the floors, adjusting her grip on the sweaty handle of the broom. "Who knew sweeping could be so hard?" She said out loud to nobody, expect her figments of imagination. Today it was just a grumpy old business man and an extremely perky blonde girl that Celeste wanted to pinch in the face, but then remembered that she wasn't real. Celeste finished sweeping the long hall and took a break. It reminded her of her old house, it had to be perfect or she would be beaten raw. She took serval deep breaths and forced herself not to cry. Everything was better now.

Celeste put the broom back in the closet. Her foot hit something solid, knocking it over. She looked down in horror to see water spilling all over her feet. She let out a loud scream as her feet made sizzling sounds. Tears of pain sliding down her cheek only made it worse. Her feet burned. Celeste then got on her knees and crawled out of the puddle. She clenched her fist, making fire appear. She held the flame to her feet, giving her some relief. Her feet were burned badly, her left pinky toe was completely black with charred flesh. She hobbled to the kitchen.

"Could you help me?" Celeste croaked as she awkwardly staggered into the kitchen. Her lip quivered as she walked a little closer, her feet screaming out in pain.

"But you can call me Marzi, or Doll."

Dahlia releases the girl's elbow as she enters the familiar kitchen. The tattooed one was here for a little while, but she didn't waste time to see if she was still here or not. She trots up to the dirty counters and grabs a towel. She turns on the sink and turns the handle to the coldest setting, gripping the towel under the flow of icy water. Her ears twitch as she listens to the girl's confession. This baffles her. What?

"You burnt your foot... by spilling water on it...?" She tosses her gaze from the soaked towel and stares at the girl. Was she retarded? Or did she have native skin that reversed the effects of fire and water? Either way, it left her dumbfounded.

"No duh. I couldn't tell." She responds more curt than she wanted to sound. Dahlia doesn't bother to exchange formalities with this girl-er, Celeste. They weren't going to talk very often anyway. No one wanted to talk to Dahlia, and that's the way she liked it. It gave her space and when she did want to socialize, she was found annoying. Perfect.

She absent-mindedly brings the wet towel towards Celeste and drops it in her lap. Dahlia was going to ask her to wrap her foot in it, but caught herself.

"Wait, My bad." Dahlia removes the towel, wanting to gauge out her own eyes. How could she be that stupid, Celeste got 'burnt' by water according to her report. Unless it was a slip of the tongue. Dahlia's hazel eyes now stared at Celeste's lap, unsure if it soaked through her clothes to burn her. What would it look like?

Celeste winced a little "It's alright," She said She got up on her feet and picked up two small washcloths. Celeste sat back down and wrapped them around her feet. She conjured up a ball of fire and set fire to the cloths on her feet. Instead of turning into ashes and turning black, they stayed perfectly white. She stood up, yet nothing caught on fire. She took a deep breath.

"How long until lunch?" She asked. Celeste hunched over a little, not wanting to freak them out. She nervously twirled her hair, on of the habits of hers. Celeste wiped her gown off a little, making sure the water from the towel hadn't soaked through to her skin. A few drops of water from the dress fell on her hand and made a sizzling sound.

"But you can call me Marzi, or Doll."

Dahlia was enchanted by the fire that had just started on Celeste's feet. Not ever would she have thought that she'd witness this situation. Dahlia takes one glance at the sopping cloth in her hand. So it does, huh? Now she knew her weakness. The thought of this power overwhelmed her but she locked up her jittery body. Celeste doesn't even bother to explain herself, she knew it was foreign to others. Alistair entered the kitchen as this happened and he just plopped himself down on a chair nearby. She could feel his eyes watching them. Dahlia's fingers squeeze the wet cloth the water dribbles out unto the floor. She let her pupils roll over to stare at him, her head still facing Celeste. The blind spot in her eye covered Alistair's face. What a convenience. Dahlia stiffens at his comment but forces herself to whirl around on her heels and hurry to the oven.

His comment didn't upset her. She wasn't hungry yet. She always was dismissed from lunch. So evening was just perfect for her. Alistair already knew that, but Dahlia suspected he was just there to point this out to them-HER. To point this out to her and gloat about his privileges. Ugh.

On the counter, was a nice sized turkey that had just finished defrosting. She didn't feel like speaking to Celeste. She must be looking straight at Dahlia right now. Her mouth was probably watering. It takes a moment before she finishes the last bits of preparation and props the stuffed turkey into the oven. She grabs the timer and sets an estimated time. Just then, Dahlia's whole body groaned and shook. She pressed the palms of her hands onto her temples and she lets out a irritable, blood-curdling scream.

That happens sometimes, over a small detail overlooked. She had to do things a certain way, if she forgot or messed up her cycle, she had to freak out. This time, She couldn't to add those laxatives in the turkey's stuffing. It was meant for a playful trick, but she couldn't do that with Alistair sitting there. Oh well. Next time she'd prepare a meal, she had a box of them in the cabinet.

Kisa Alessandra

"My, my, my... I'm not even sure what to say at this point." "Should I even ask for your excuse of doing so?" Kisa Alessandra made a throaty noise that sounded close to a growl and a hmmph sound. "Oh, please, the Mutt had it coming for him." Her voice wasn't nasty or mean, it was soft and tired. Other then that, her face was cleared of any emotions. A sudden feeling of sensational coolness blossomed at the back of her head just as a beep rang out in the kitchen. Allie wasn't startled by the beep but she was startled by something else. -as shoving this girl's arrogance down her throat. It was a familiar voice that said this, but it also wasn't said out loud. She didn't show any sign of hearing this, except for the sudden new gleam in her eyes.

Kisa Alessandra jumped off the counter and pressed a button, turning the oven off and opening it, revealing chocolate chip cookies. She put on some mittens and took out the pan, and laying it on the counter. Allie began to scrap off a badly burnt one with a spatula. "The King deserves... the best, yes?" She mind-spoke to him, amusement filling her thought. Using the spatula she held out the burnt cookie to the King. The look in her blue eyes daring him to take the cookie.

"You must call me King."
My Patience: ██████████32%

King's eyes watched Kisa eerily. He once stood by Alistair, however his appearance flickered like an old lightbulb and his body disappeared. To those with bewildered expressions that started to look around, they would find him sitting on the countertop beside Kisa. King inhaled the dry, brittle scent of burnt dough. This pricked his nerve. There was nothing worse than burnt food. As King turned his eyes upon Kisa again, his lips spread into a malicious grin. She got the message. He could feel what she felt, he could see what she saw, hear what she heard. He could feel all the little heartbeats in the room. 'So easily they could all just die...' The golden flecks within his brown eyes began to shimmer. As fast as the effect grew, it stopped abruptly.

This felt uncomfortable. King was disturbed with his great power and forced it to dim down. He caught onto reality and found that the slave was holding out a burnt cookie to him. He went into a silent fit of rage, swatting the cookie and spatula so they fell to the floor and grabbed her chin with one powerful hand. King's whole body shook violently. His mouth opened as if he was trying to eat her soul, but instead all of his teeth grew into long pointed daggers. Damn it all. He forced himself to suck up all the wrath he wanted to dish out so badly, and shut his mouth. Then... King smiled, teeth normal, and his lip twitching.

"Thank you." King speaks slowly, his body ports to the burnt cookie that crumbled all over the floor. The cookie morphed itself back together in his touch and he held it close to his mouth. As his lips parted to bite into the cookie, the cookie blossomed in color. It appeared as if it had never been burnt and was baked perfectly. He took a taste. The cookie had potential. He nodded to the slaves, hiding his embarrassment.

"You're very kind." His teeth grind together and he forces himself to leave the room. He gives a look to Alistair. He was back in charge. No wonder his faithful servant was always in a bad mood.
