Upon first meeting Erin, many have said that she is warm, inviting, and good company. And it's not much of a shock to see why. She'll welcome just about anyone for a round or two for drinks, or help get a fan those front row seats to a Quidditch game. She knows how to pull some strings and isn't shy of flashing her connections to those in high places to get what she, or others may want. She hasn't become one of the better known Irish Quidditch team member's for nothing, and it shows. As a Seeker, she knows how to be flashy, put on a show for the fans, and how to hype up a stadium full of people in the stands. From being extra flamboyant and pulling off tricks in a game, to being a general flirt with the fans, it isn't hard to see why so many people look forward to seeing her at the games.

Aside from the kind and caring nature of Erin, she holds a much darker side. Which, when one knows of her and her family's past it's not much of a shocker why she can be so abrasive and cold at times. While she can be an absolute sweetheart and want the best for people, there is a part of her that would want nothing more than the filth of the earth to be done away with. Blood Supremecists and all. She doesn't hold the same values as her remaining siblings, or her uncle, but she does go along with them due to her famlilial ties and bond. To her, family is everything she has left, and she'd do anything to make sure that they're safe, even putting her own life on the line. Which she has done countless times and doesn't give it a second thought.

One thing people know about her is that she doesn't play around with idiots or trouble makers. If someone starts something in the crowd at a Quidditch game, or an after party, it results in immediate kick out and even a ban from ever stepping foot on the premises again. She can easily be your best friend, or easily be your least liked person, depending on how you treat her, she will treat you. If you treat her with respect and kindness and don't cause any trouble around her, she will easily let small things slide and even offer a few free drinks and food if she knows if you're having an off day or struggling with money. But the last thing you want to do is bite the hands that feed you, and wouldn't recommend crossing her or doing her any wrong, as she could easily make your life hell.

People have also noticed she has a short fuse, which can be started from anything, rude comments or harassment towards her which she handles better than others half the time, but the last thing you do is disrespect others near her, and you'll soon see yourself being dragged off. In short, she can be your fiercest and most loyal and caring friend who would die for you, or could easily be something terrifying that you wouldn't dare double-crossing or lying to. Best to stay advised of this at all times.

But ever since the accident with Kyle, her twin brother years ago, she's become rather cynical in nature. Distanced herself for a while as she tried to piece everything together as reality had hit her all too hard. Losing her parents was hard for sure but, having lost Kyle after it all sort of messed her up for a good while. It was practically coming to terms with losing her other half and best friend. Something she hoped would never happen, and when it did...It was too soon. All too soon. She occasionally get irritable and agitated about certain topics and around certain people. Especially when her twin is brought up in conversations. She used to be someone filled with so much life and excitement, which has slowly started to come back but, for the most part she has been often referred to as a cynic and rather bitchy by people she isn't exactly close to. But those that have known what she's been through may say otherwise, as they know she wasn't always this way. She's been mislead, lied to and decieved, and promised a future she is beginning to realize is anything but the one she'll be dealt if she follows through with her uncle's orders. All she needs is someone to give her a guiding hand, and just maybe she'll see the light she once thought was lost all those years ago...

H I S T O R Y
Almost everyone in the Wizarding World has heard about the tragedy that had befallen the Monaghan family over a decade ago. And for those that haven't heard it, well, they must be living under a rock. The sudden and tragic deaths of the parents, Tyler and Julien Monaghan had spread like wildfire. Bolstering the family's name, almost to the same degree as the Carter family and many others. But not for the success or blood status, but the deaths and the fact they left behind five children. Who had been taken in by their aunt and uncle, the Carters. Practically becoming their own children as well.

The latter success of the children helped lessen the tragedy, until the passing of Eoin Monaghan. Just like his parents, it was seen as a tragic accident. But soon looked passed and over by the general populace. And of course, the fact that three of the four remaining children were very prolific Quidditch players in the Pro-Leagues for the Irish teams didn't hurt their name by any means. But that is only what the public know. Not the deep dark truth that lurks below.

Erin's and her siblings childhood had been a rather good one. They had two loving parents that doted on all of them with no issue. As well as having supportive parents in every manner had helped Erin exceed, until the day came when her parents had been killed by a group of dark wizards. And that was when Erin saw her life completely turn on its head and aim for the worst. She never would have imagined the real truth that lurked in her very own family. The truth, her uncle, Xavier Carter was a dark wizard, (unrelated to the mishap that happened to her parents, or so they say). Xavier had taken in his nieces and nephews, in hopes of being able to turn them to his side, turning them into dark wizards by the time they were fourteen and fifteen respectively (Erin was 14, and Ezekiel & Niamh were 15 at the time).

By the time Erin was sixteen years old, alongside her two older twin siblings, they already knew how to perform all three Unforgivable Curses, as well as having their own Dark Marks forcibly branded on their left forearms. That had been hidden with the use of spells. By the time Erin was 17, she had two of the Three Unforgivable Curses used on her (Imperio & Crucio) countless times, to help 'toughen her up' as Xavier ingrained so heavily into them. But not only that, she was forced to use them on her older siblings as well, and they had no choice but to use them on her in turn. It was just the way they were trained.

All of this had been happening behind closed doors, right under the family manor. Without Erin's own aunt knowing, Xavier had entirely left his wife and his own daughters out of his affairs. In Erin's final year of Hogwarts, she had already been fully indoctronated into her family's affairs, knowing how to Apparate on her own, without the use of the classes that Hogwarts had offering to older students. Being forced to keep the dark truth from her friends had even caused her to withdraw from them slightly, but only to a degree for where when graduation finally came around, Erin had parted ways with her friends.

For about three years, she had entirely fallen off the face of the map, being nearly impossible to find or get into contact with. As she was only further pulled into her uncle's underground coup. Until she turned 20 years old, making headlines as one of the youngest ever Quidditch players to become Captain and Seeker in her first year of Professional Leagues. Her name plastered in every direction that she looked, it was nearly impossible for her to keep her face out of public eye. But, Erin had managed to keep up the facade of being one of the best Pro-Players in recent years, all while moonlighting as a Dark Wizard.

It's only been in the past six years years, that Erin has taken her role within the coup even more serious than before. Only due to her younger sister attending Hogwarts. Erin knows sooner or later, that Saoirse will be taken in next by their uncle, and could very easily end up like Erin and the other siblings. Since then, Erin has been doing her damndest to keep her little sister safe, telling herself that she's still only in this mess, is to keep Saoirse and all those she loves safe. But Erin knows better, that one day Xavier will break his word and try to rope in her sister. But until then, Erin is remaining as 'loyal' as her siblings, but she knows she can't stay in that group forever, it's been slowly eating away at her, since it's going against every view and belief she personally believes in. All Erin needs is a way out, and she'll take it the first chance she gets, even if it puts her own life in danger of ensuring Saoirse' safety, and all those she loves. She won't lose anyone else, and she'll be damned if she doesn't at least try to keep them safe.

Side note: It was due to Erin's efforts years ago, and her fear for what could happen to a young member of The Branded, as they were initiated early due to their family. Erin's fear that the young student could end up like her, and the efforts she put in, that the family was able to get out of the New Order of Branded Death Eaters. Erin had been assigned as the young initiate's tutor, and had seen them excel. Fearing for the girl, Erin secretly put in action a loophole for the family. She had hoped her efforts had been successful, but she no idea of what became of that family after they left the group. For all she knows, they could be dead too...
