Appearance: Mauris is a Metamorphmagus, always changing her appearance but she has a default appearance she usually goes by. She is petite, 154cm and weighed about 47kg the last time she used her natural appearance. Her hair forever changes but like to keep it several shades pink and blonde, curling it. Her real hair color is a dirty blonde. Her large, doe-like eyes are grey, almost as dark as rainstorm clouds. Mauris is constantly told that she looks like a porcelain doll for her ivory skin and delicate features.

Personality: Honest with a silver tongue, Mauris was the delightful young girl with the strange habits. She is honest, almost to an annoying extent and playful who gleefully takes part in several activities. She is completely fine with who she is, only changing her appearance to scare people or manipulate them. Her ambitions are what drives her forward and has high hopes for her. She would be a Slytherin if her other traits didn't overtake them. Mauris is very studious and takes pride in her work, gifted with a wand and book. She isn't the type of person who would want to change anyone despite her snarky yet happy-go-luck attitude. Instead, she lets a person be who they are and change for themselves. But if you dare hurt her family, she would go all types of insane on you. She has a deep fascination for all things strange from spiders to the Dark Arts, intending to research them as she grows older.

History: Mauris was born to a wizarding family with a metamorphmagus mother. The fourth out of eight children, she was the only one to show the signs of being a metamorphmagus. Her parents were half-bloods who expressed interest in her abilities but warned her not to show them off. In her childhood, she would scare away someone with her unusual looks but those days were long gone. She lived in England with her family, spending their time with Muggles around the neighbourhood and showed signs of her abilities at a very young age. Her brother, Percival, is currently off fighting in the Muggle War but admittedly, uses magic to help him and his comrades. She got her acceptance letter on 20th June 1939, joining her siblings to Hogwarts for the first time in her life.

During her first year, she was widely interested in spells of all kinds. She was excelled in Defence Against The Dark Arts and The Dark Arts in general. She was a writer by heart, keeping a book to detail her uses of spells and her growing extent of knowledge. Admittedly, she doesn't have many friends due to her honest tongue and strange habits but she stays close to her family at Hogwarts. She tries to see them regularly on a daily basis.

Mauris' future will be revealed during the story, hints are dropped about what will happen to her.

Strengths: Spells of all kinds but notably the Dark Arts. She is adept with Shield Charms and The Full Body Bind Curse. As she can change her appearance at will, it is easy for her to blend and act as other people.

Weaknesses: Hopeless at Herbology, Mauris tends to faint in Herbology class as she gets too curious with the plants. She is also very clumsy, a side-effect because of her abilities as a metamorphmagus.

Likes: Duelling, a fan of watching and playing them, usually with a smile. Her voice would always remain the same and loves to sing and dance. Reading is a favourite past time and she owns a collection of books of every kind. She also a collector, collecting anything and everything from insects to Muggle newspaper clippings that mention magic. She harbors an intense fascination for all things strange.

Dislikes: Mauris dislikes various smells, those that are too strong. She dislikes cats, she doesn't mind them but they greatly annoy her for various reasons.

Pet: She has an owl that she affectionally calls Thanny, named after the Greek God of Death 'Thanatos' despite her owl being a girl.


Other: Mauri's siblings are Percival, Wendla, Rufus, Kingston, Jasper, Athos and Gwynnifer. She is born after Rufus and before Kingston, she is also the first Ravenclaw of the family.
