Introduction

Alright, this will be my first RP back here on RPG and I wanted it to be a good one. I want this RP to be something that will last for hopefully at least a full year.

Summary:

Imagine a world that dedicates itself to the holidays, all year long prepping and celebrating these wonderful times. Sounds fantastic right? A world full of nothing but peace and happiness and holidays, gift giving, family time everything that screams cuddly and warm and safe. Well this world does exist. It's called Holidia. (Ho-lid-ee-uh) It's just like earth with the fact that humans can survive here, but there is one difference, there aren't just humans on this planet, and everyone is aware of it even the humans.

Every month there is a holiday on this planet. Everyone celebrates it and enjoys it. That is the main point. To go through the year celebrating the holidays through an RP. They celebrate Earths calander so the days are the same, the time zones set up the same everything is pretty much the same just to make it easier on everyone.

The holidays are as followed:
New Years - January
Valentines Day - February
St. Patricks Day - March
Easter - April
Mothers Day - May
Fathers Day - June
Fourth of July - July (open to holiday change/make up for this month)
- August (open to creating a holiday)
- September (open to creating)
Halloween - October
Thanksgiving - November
Christmas & New Years Eve- December

I am open to suggestions for new holidays from July to September. I'd rather not celebrate the 4th of July on the RP because its a different world and I dont want it to be their independece day, and they dont really have a day they had to fight off another place to gain ownership so. I dont know.

If you want to suggest a Holiday please send me the date and what the holiday is about/celebrated.

I am open to other species as well just send me the request and I'll look over it. If you do send a request please include information about them, they can be something you make up. I'm not picky.

So lets talk about the town Holiday Town, where the story pretty much will take place. The town hosts parties for each holiday two days AFTER the real holiday giving the citizens time to enjoy them with their families. The parties are large and extravagent and hosted in Town Square at a building called the Holiday Town Grand Room. It's pretty much a large hotel.

Shopping Street is pretty much obvious for saying that all the shops for gifts and food etc are in this area.

Residences are communities and circle around the Town Square area.

(I'm pretty sure I'm going to drawl a map for this.)

The communities are not specified by species so any one can live anywhere.

Snow flakes fluttered to the ground as Angel briskly walked down the driveway of her home. 311 Sparkling Lane. She lived in Twinkling Lights Circle with her parents who were rarely home. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out her house key and slid it into the lock twisting it and waiting for the loud click that would follow. Pushing the large wooden door open she peered inside and taking a deep breath called out "Mooom? Daaad? Are you guys home?" She knew the answer would be no, as it was everytime she did this ritual, but as much as she wanted to stop it, she couldn't because she had been doing it since she was a child. Unraveling her scarf and unbuttoning her coat she hung them up on the silver hooks by the door and rubbed her hands down her white sweater dress smoothing it out. The soft clicking of her boots echoed in the long hallway as she neared the kitchen the smell of something delicious cooking wafted in the air.

The invites were sent out to the households, another grand dinner at the Parker Manor hosted by Angel, no doubt showing off her amazing skills at cooking and baking. 6 pm sharp that night on time for cocktail hour, dinner would be served at 7.

Christmas music flowed through the house and soon Angel was dancing around the kitchen cooking and baking alone, the way she prefered. Yes it took a large amount of time to prepare such vast amounts of food but with her amazingly large kitchen she could amount to anything in it. Cookies, cakes, and pies sat in the oven baking away, icing made and prepared in their bags sat on the shelf in the fridge as her main course of apple carmel glazed pork chops simmered and candied in the oven. Tonight was a night to celebrate. It was a few days before Christmas and the town finally finished decorating.

The clock struck 5 o'clock and soon the servers and assistant chefs arrived cleaning and cooking as Angel took off to get ready for tonight. Her hair was still pristine and perfect as she unpinned it, the curls tossing down her back like children racing to the end of a hill. Her cheeks were flushed a deep pink from cooking for so long. Undressing she placed her dress on the bed and walked to the closet selecting a dark blue dress that clung to her curves and showed her feminine side. After make up and another look check in the large mirror beside her door Angel nodded her head and headed downstairs there were 15 minuets left and guests were starting to arrive.
