Name: Diana Cordelia Beaumont
Nickname: NA
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Birthday: August 15th
Heir: Vampire Princess
Likes: reading&writing; adventure; leading others; music&dance; magic&mysteries; psychology; strategy&puzzles; the moon; roses&anemones; cooking; fashion
Dislikes: being ignored; told what to do; pushed around; undermined&underestimated; unintelligent people; goody-two shoes
Fears: others using her weaknesses/past against her, being unloved, becoming a weak/meaningless person
Personality: Beautiful & elegant, Diana carries herself high and proud. She enjoys giving people orders & in addition to that {& also due to the pure fact that she does not lack a sense of leadership}, she prefers to be the one leading in every situation. She's the type of person to only do something that would benefit her in some way--& even sometimes benefit her loved ones as well. She's persistent once she has set her goals or eyes on something, & will find a way around any obstacle that stands in her way. She's strong, courageous, & fearless just as much as she is cunning & intelligent. Out of habit & to her benefit, she always analyses everything around her; from executing a strategy for revenge, to reading into people's personalities & next move by studying them like patterns. Diana is a creature of seduction & because of that, she's very good at catching people's attention & attracting them to her. She presents herself as nothing less than royalty; her movements swift & graceful, undeniably making her actions seem effortless. Including her temper, which causes her to pounce at her victim without fear or even a thought of their well-being, looks nimble although intimidating. When it comes to love, however, Diana is the kind of creature who would drop hints towards her true feelings rather than save the embarrassment of saying it out loud. In other words, it's hard for her to speak the words her heart is screaming. She's bossy, seductive, and mysterious. Yet, when she finds "the one," her selfish actions become not only for her but also for him.
History: Within her people, Diana Cordelia Beaumont has a reputation for 'taking care of delicate matters.' Not only does that description fit bloody actions, but also those of higher intelligence. As a genius since birth, she studies investigations, mysteries & the like for fun. In addition to that, her broader view of the world & cunning leadership makes her perfect for dealing with matters that have large consequences. She's rough when it comes to such things, but what she's mostly known for is her ability to make her dangerous actions seem deadly sweet and oddly captivating. Diana is known for being a deadly, dangerous, yet alluring creature. & although rich, her parents often denied her the pleasure of doing all the things she wanted due to their overly heightened sense of protection. As a consequence to that, she had to get what she wanted herself & escape to the places she wanted to attend without much regard to her parents wishes. Thus, she grew up to be a bit of a mischievous creature with a strong hate for being told what to do.
Reaction to being sent to Hollow House? Despite the situation, she actually wanted to leave her parents' side for a little adventure.
Which race will you get along with best? Demons&Werewolves; for also being creatures of the night & for their match in strength. Witches; their power of magic attracts her, as well as their potion making & ancient history.
Which race do you dislike most? Merfolk; she doesn't want others to know more than she's telling them, so their ability to empathize is something she's cautious about.
Other: pikachu ~

The petite and alluring creature that was the princess of vampires stood beside the fireplace that had not been turned alight since the chilly night before. From there, she glanced over at the bright, pearly portal that awaited her presence. Through her keen eyesight the entity itself was brighter than she would have liked it to be, as it caused her to lower her eyelids just a tad with every glance she shot at it. However, no matter how much she wanted her adventure to begin, her father would have none of it. He lectured her on how to keep her mind cool and collected as if she had no idea how, amongst other little things that she was perfectly aware of.

Finally, she could not take it anymore. “Yes, yes, father dear,” she smiled sweetly, her pneumatic lips brightening up the room with just one simple act. She was tired of being treated like a porcelain doll by her father—fragile, timid, and in need of sheltering. Although she hated the races she would stay with for such a long period of time, she wanted freedom in whatever shape it came. She needed to venture off and see new things. “I understand everything. I am not a child, remember?”

She grabbed the hands of both her parents before looking towards her brother. To him, she gave a wink of mischievousness and then turned to face the portal within their music room. Diana took a light hold on the locket that dangled from her porcelain neck, and walked into the brightness before her. To her surprise, there was a little tingling sensation all over her body. She had landed on the pristine grass of the house she now faced, but it was bright daylight. Had He given her a few moments to recuperate and thus, given her advantage to run to safety? Either way, she took full advantage of it as she took off to the main entrance. Her movements were quick, quick enough to pass by a set of twins (the Elven twins) with only brushing lightly against them.

“Who knows? You might even find someone while you’re over there, my dear boy,” the Werewolf Queen spoke, her words fluid and slightly teasing. Even after their little discussion with Desiree, their mother just bounced back. She was a handsome woman with strong, yet feminine features. And the grin on her face made Asher want to attack her—in a playful way, of course.

Asher decided not to talk about that subject again. They had shared their views on the subject frequent times, but that wasn’t what was filling up his entire head at that moment. He had yet to meet everyone, which he wasn’t looking too much forward into. There were sure to be fights and plenty of them, surely something to always keep him on edge.

He was about to exchange a few more words with the royalty of the land when his twin sister passed through. He had hoped that she would be kinder towards their parents or at least reconsolidate with them before leaving, but that hope died fast. He sighed, waved at his parents, and them stepped through the blinding light. Once there and behind his sister, Asher wrapped his arms around her in a bearhug and walked as he talked with her up in the air. “Maybe you were a bit harsh?” he chuckled and teased her, “you’re so moody, little sister.”

Xander basically glared at the portal, or at least as much as he could without giving himself a headache from the light. It had popped up out of nowhere, shattering his peaceful darkness in the music room, and now his peace of mind, granted that was in very good order since his parents came home and told him and his sister what was needed from them. They had to go to a secluded place, locked away with other princes and princesses from each race, stuck there until a treaty was made. Like that was going to happen. Each race was different, and with differences comes conflict, every time, he doubted there was a way around it. But wasn’t there? The thought had crossed his mind once, just fake it, get a treaty signed, get it over with, come back home and move on with their lives. But then, there was always that fact that the treaty would be enforced and he knew that not everyone could get along, it wasn’t in anyone’s nature, no matter what race.

But he knew he had to go through, as his flat out refusal last time had been shot down with a flat out no and you’re going from his parents. His arms crossed across his chest as he waited for his sister, their father once again acting like she was his precious little glass sculpture. He wanted to roll his eyes but he knew that would get him a glare from one of his parents, and acting like a rebellious child was not what royalty should do. So he just waited, the darn portal giving him a headache from the glow it emitted, he didn’t like the idea that he had to go through it, let alone find out what was on the other side. Finally his sister had enough of father’s coaching on how to act proper and whatnot and headed to the portal, giving him a smile on the way. He knew she would like the adventure of being somewhere new; she was cooped up too much of the time.

He rose from his spot and nodded to each of his parents, none of them giving any words of farewell, his mother gave his hand a squeeze and he headed off behind Diana. His eyes shut at the light of the portal and then instead of the wooden floor of the music room he heard a soft brush and he opened his eyes a crack to see that he was standing on grass. He stole a quick glance behind him and he saw the portal close in a small flash. He growled to himself, rubbing his eyes as he was no regretting the glance and on top of that, it was daylight, he was not going to be happy later. He head rose and he saw that Diana was already running for the manor, there wasn’t time to stand admiring it, and he ran after his twin. He didn’t know who he ran past, and at the moment he didn’t care, he just wanted to get out of the light that was making his head throb.

Leo Reyes

Leo followed his younger sister, up the large grassy pathway that led up to the abandoned house. What the house has been used for in the past, before it was decided to be the prison of twenty twenty-one year olds, he did not know, and in all fairness, he didn't want to know. He walked in silence, his mind bouncing around with thousands of questions as he walked. Elves are natural inquisitive and intelligent creatures, and Leo was a classic elf - thinking about and analyzing everything that he saw. His hands stayed crossed across his chest as he went, and his head was still held high. His pointed ears caught sounds coming from behind him, noises of other couplets of twins arriving on the island, but he didn't turn around to see what they were. He heard someone say "Did you manage to learn how to tell the races apart?" But didn't pay much attention to it. Then, a variety of scents hit his nose, and he felt as if he had been smacked in the face. He tried to keep his face straight, but it probably faltered for a minute as he adjusted to the new smells.

The variety of different smells was horrible. He hadn't been in contact with any other races before, but he had read books on them. He knew that the sulfur smell that he could sense was that of Demons. The smell of ash came from the Phoenixes. The dog-like smell, which wasn't completely pleasant, but not unpleasant either, was that of Werewolves. And that smell of rust, or iron, came from the two flying bodies that had just brushed past them, was that of the Vampires. He was jolted to the side slightly with the bump from the female Vampire, but he composed himself quickly, and carried on advancing into the house along with Juliet.

Once they entered, he was astounded by the grandeur of the hallway. The spiral staircase going up to the first floor, the chandelier... it slightly resembled his own home, back in the forest. Leo's hand slipped into his pocket and gently brushed against the piece of bark in his pocket - that piece of home that he had brought with him. It instantly comforted him, and soon, he was walking once again with his hands at his sides, almost marching, royally until he was next to his sister. "Shall we look for our rooms, dear sister? Our names seem to be on this list here. I'm assuming our bags have already been placed there."

Emmy Quirin

"Oh yes, I missed you more than anything, you arrogant ass." Emmy wouldn't admit to her brother that for the brief moment she had been alone here, she had missed him, yes. But he'd never know that; he'd let it go to his head, and then she would never be able to get him to leave her alone, or shut up about it. So, she kept her mouth shut. However, she stood close to her brother as they walked up to the large house, even though she stood confidently. She didn't like it to seem as if she was a weakling compared to her brother, but she couldn't help but be a little cautious about going into the large mansion. She hadn't liked the idea of coming here in the first place, but now that they were here, she felt even worse about it. Stupid war.

"Have I learnt how to tell them apart?" She asked her brother, cocking her head to the side curiously. "Well, obviously, I know how to tell some apart. The sulfuric stink of the demons, the usual blood stains on the cloths of the vampires, fire coming from the rooms of Phoenixes, water dripping from the mermaids, faeries leaving glitter everywhere. Was that what you wanted me to learn?" She teased him back, nudging him softly in the elbow as the house loomed over them. Soon, they were inside the house, and the genie felt her mouth dropped to the floor in amazement, and her eyes almost pop open. She had never seen a place so beautiful, so elegant and so homely all at the same time. The genies are the poorest of all of the races, hence the slave race thing, and it was rare that they ever saw grandeur like this. It was a rarity. But a god-damn nice one. Maybe this stupid little trip wasn't going to be that bad after all, especially if they were living in a place like this.

On the wall by the door, there was a list of names and room numbers, obviously indicating the rooms in which they were staying. "Oh that's good, putting a genie in number thirteen." She laughed at her unfortunate brother. She continued to read down the piece of paper. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the dining room at ten o'clock, two o'clock and seven o'clock, and would be catered by magic. Well, that could be interesting. There were other little bits on the paper, but they seemed of little significance.

"Come on Del, I wanna' explore! Lets go check out our rooms, and have a search around."

Diana Beaumont | thɛ vɑmpiʀɛ pʀincɛss

The smile that had curled Diana’s rosy lips soon vanished upon taking a deep breath. She had sensed her brother right behind her and having her twin there had raised her spirits, but the elixir of harsh scents on her nose vanished her excitement for the moment. She could smell oh so many things within the large house—mansion—they were staying. Everyone’s possessions maintained their own unique odor and her sharp senses had easily spotted it. Some were satisfactory, some were pleasant, but others were just dreadful.

When she had made her way into the foyer, Diana had also set eyes on the piece of paper with everyone’s names on it. Even though the Elven twins had been in her presence as well, she found it remarkably easy to pay to mind to their existence. She smelled their scent, heard their words, saw their faces, but cared not for any of it. Her eyes were transfixed on the roaster for a second before she looked away spoke to her brother as she walked toward the staircase. “Xander, I believe our rooms are one and two. I don’t know why, but they decided that I would be number two, “ Diana smiled at him as she stood beside the staircase. She used the railing to support herself whilst she took off her pumps that were dirtied by the mud and grass.

Then, without waiting any further, she gracefully took hold of her twin’s hand and led him down the corridor that she believed would lead them to their chambers. “I have no idea where I’m going but let’s look at this as an adventure, shall we?” she said with a tone that was obviously influenced by the smile on her face.

“Ah, twins, yes. But who was born first? This guy,” Asher pointed at himself with his thumbs as he watched his sister spin around like the grumpy airhead she was. He really didn’t care too much about who was born first, for the seconds were really nothing to him. What made the difference however, was their personalities—their attitudes, their way of speech, the way they interacted, and how they handled responsibilities. Through that list, Asher was the big brother in the brother-sister relationship they shared. It was just him; it was his title.

A little ghost of a grin graced his face and an eyebrow rose when Desiree finally found the little clue that would lead her to their destination. Of course, he knew that her discovery was a surprise for them both—just a little. “Bravo, Dez,” he mused and ruffled her brown hair before beginning to make his way to the place they were required to stay for a long, long while.

_Xander Beaumont_~Vampire Prince

Once he made it inside several of his sense were bombarded all at once. One was his general overall feeling, once he got inside out of the sun his headache started to ebb away a little, but not enough to lighten his mood.. The second was his sense of smell, he could hear other twins coming inside and along with them came their scents, which he could easily pick up, some of them not pleasant. Lastly he managed to take a look around him at the building itself, there was a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling and the whole place had well balanced colors, and a few windows, which he frowned at. The grandeur of it seemed pretty close to their own home, granted it was brighter here than all the blacked out windows and dark colors of where he came from. But he figure he should have expected that since not all the species would appreciate the dark as much as he and his twin did, but he would have liked whoever put this place together to be more considerate of his tastes, he and his sister were high in rank and should have been more cared for.

After his quick glance around he noticed Diana looking at a paper posted on the wall, it had all of their names and the rooms they would be staying in. “Xander, I believe our rooms are one and two. I don’t know why, but they decided that I would be number two, “ That brought a smile to his lips, one he reserved only for her. She took his hand and started leading him off down the corridor. “I have no idea where I’m going but let’s look at this as an adventure, shall we?” Her carefree mood was allowing him to forget his headache, almost; this just made him more aware of how sheltered she’s been. He walked beside her, looking around once in awhile, keeping a regal look to his face, they were at the top, or nearly there, in important people. He spotted their rooms before she did, but he let her have the satisfaction of pointing them out to him. ”Yes here they are, guess we should check out the accommodations.” He gave her hand a squeeze before letting her go to her own room while he stepped into his.

The room wasn’t what he expected, it was better, close to his own room back home. The room overall was dark, with light accents spread about the room, and one wall was covered in paneled mirrors, making the room look larger than it truly was. There were white curtains over the two large windows behind the bed and over those were two floor length black silk curtains. He strode over and pulled them shut, bathing the room in shadow. He closed his eyes for a few seconds, relaxing in the dark for awhile and going to the other door in the room and finding the bathroom, it also was nicely decorated like the room and he nodded in approval. He then went from his room next door to his twin’s and knocked on the door once before opening it and walking in, he then took a glance around her room. ”Nice rooms aren’t they? Reminds me of our home, the styles and the grandeur of the place at least. Could do with less light though wouldn’t you think?”

Diana Beaumont | thɛ vɑmpiʀɛ pʀincɛss

After the Vampire twins went their different ways in order to explore their new abode, Diana entered her own quarters. She was surprised to find that it wasn’t as bad as she had thought. Of course, after seeing the house in the first place it had been a little obvious to her that her bedroom wouldn’t be that bad. However, her previous thoughts on the matter—when she was at home—her mind had wandered into a dungeon-looking place. She exaggerated.

“Not bad,” she murmured after making a full twirl in the middle of the room. She noticed every detail, and although she much preferred classic elegance compared to modern, she had no complaints. In fact, it was nice to have a change of scenery considering that circumstances. And with that little thought, Diana made her way to the bathroom. It was big and bright, but it didn’t bother her a tad. And that was why she found that to be a rather odd. She put down the heels she had finished cleaning and curiously made her way towards the large window that gave way for the light of day.

Diana looked at her feet and studied the little distance there was between them and the light illuminating the bathroom floor. Then, she lifted her eyes to the window and suddenly stuck out her foot. When pain wasn’t felt, she smiled in delight and stood completely out into the light.

“Yes, it’s pretty nice,” Diana stepped out of the bathroom with a bright smile on her face. It was almost mischievous in a way, but not entirely. More like she had a big secret she could not wait to share. And so she did. “I don’t mind the lights here, actually,” she mused whilst positioning herself before one of the opened windows of her room. “I believe that He was thinking of us, too.”

Asher Chamberlain | thɛ wɛʀɛwolf pʀincɛ

Asher was aware of how Desiree walked towards the mansion, as he shot glances at her every so often, but his eyes were mostly focused on the place they were to live for some time. It seemed a lot bigger than he’d expected, but he wasn’t all too surprised. This was probably because, aside from counting just how many rooms they would need for everyone to fit in there, he hadn’t given it any more thought.

“Agreed,” the werewolf prince murmured in reply to his sister’s words as they made their way inside. There, he noticed that most of the other beings that were to join them were already moving about and exploring their temporary home. He noticed that some of them looked anxious while others looked unmoved, but no big fight had risen yet. However, he could sense sad emotion in the air—which startled him somewhat as it awoke his brotherly ways.

He cleared his throat.

“Ok then… Where do you suppose are our rooms?” Asher asked his sister as he clasped both hands together and rubbed them in a ‘let’s get this thing rolling’ sort of manner. Just then, however, an attractive young woman spoke for all to hear. He looked at her and grinned as he waved a hello in her direction as well as her brother’s. “Hey. Uh, we’re… werewolves. My name’s Asher Chamberlain and this is my lovely sister, Desiree,” he responded and averted his eyes towards his sister before returning to the merpeople.

_Xander Beaumont_~Vampire Prince

Zan looked around his sister’s room, it was nice like his own, it was a bit darker but he didn’t mind, it seemed to fit Diana’s taste so he said nothing, he was going to look out after her, make sure she was happy and that no one was going to hurt her in any way. She came out of the bathroom, her face lit up more than usual, like a child almost. It seemed that she was enjoying this place a lot already. Then she told him about the light, she could stand to be near it, let herself touch it. He frowned a little, confusion playing through his eyes as he stepped over to the window and looked at the beam of light shining through the curtains. He stuck his hand out slowly, and when his fingers touched the light he blinked. There wasn’t pain, though it was uncomfortable because he wasn’t used to it, it wasn’t as bad as it usually was for them.

He didn’t like it; he knew that once they got back the sun would burn again. The light still gave him a headache, seeing as he wasn’t used to going anywhere near it and being able to tolerate it more here made his mood that much worse. His displeasure could probably be seen through the crease lines on his forehead and the way he shut the curtains. ”We shouldn’t get too used to it ok? I don’t know how long we are going to be here but just remember that when we go back that it won’t be the same…” He kind of wished that it would stay the same though, a higher tolerance to the sun would be nice, not be stuck in the darkness where people were scared to go.

He could start feeling angry at his situation now, not like it would change anything. Plus, he liked the dark now; it was where they belonged and where they were going to stay. He took the few steps over to his sister and put his hands on her shoulders. ”Just don’t see how long you can withstand it ok? It may not hurt but it’s still sunlight.” He didn’t want her to be too curious about their surroundings and get herself hurt, it wouldn’t be very good for their image after all, if the vampire princess got hurt staying out in the sun. ”Why don’t we go see who else is here? Maybe explore the building some? We might find a library, or a music room.” Hopefully that will distract her from his bad mood; he didn’t want her to think he was going to be like that the whole time; he mainly just wanted his headache gone.
