Octavia has few negative personality traits but that doesnt mean she is perfect, if anything some of her better personality traits make her a less likable person. Like most artist, especially those who are painters, she is creative, passionate, and driven. Also like most other artist she can fall into a deep trance like state when she is motivated which in turn can cause her to be forgetful. Now, she never sets out to be rude or unlikable but there are times when she is talking about her art that she forgets that she had been having a conversation and will spend hours just talking about herself, her art, and how she gets her ideas. Most will say that it is an annoying and a bit arrogant habit of hers but it just shows her passion for what she does.
Though sometimes coming off as uncaring Octavia is a really affectionate and compassionate, maybe a bit too emotional at times so she has built up a persona of being a bit obnoxious, arrogant, and distant as to protect herself from getting to close to people. It really helps that she is driven because it just adds to the persona that she has built around her. Her close friends know that she is really a sweet, gentle and soft hearted person who is a tad forgetful and more then a little daring which has landed her into some sticky situations.
