Description

Vassi Yuriiovtich Novikov

::Nickname(s)::
Vas

::Age::
21

::Gender::
Male

::Race/What Are You?::
Human/Mutant: Atomic Transmuter

::Powers::
The ability to alter Objects, by rearranging the atomic structure. The atom is a basic unit of matter that consists of a dense, central nucleus containing a mix of positively charged protons and electrically neutral neutrons, these are surrounded by a cloud of negatively charged electrons. An atom is classified according to the number of protons and neutrons in its nucleus: the number of protons determines the chemical element, and the number of neutrons determines the isotope of the element. Threw Vassi's ability he can alter all three parts of an element by either changing the number of protons, neutrons or electrons. An example would be turning Lead which has 82 protons and 82 electrons into Gold which has 72 protons and 72 electrons or vice versa, or simply taking away a neutron from a stable element making it radioactive. The simplest form of His ability is being able to split Atoms at will, releasing chaotic explosive energy. In Conclusion Vassi is either a human Chemistry set or a walking Atomic bomb..... His abilities directly correlate to his knowledge of chemical/atomic structures, as he learns more about elements and there properties his abilities potential increases.

::Personality::
A reserved complex individual, always thinking, and calculating. Although Vas is not a social person, only talking to his brother and himself, He is always open to listening to other individuals views, ideas, and their issues, it helps him deal with the emotional instability of knowing his is an atomically unstable abomination. Vas's only notable feelings are his love for soccer, material objects and chemistry. He reveres his brother as a protector, and the only stable figure in his life, Never changing and always there for him. The void left by his parents has left him petrified of social bonding and emotional contact.

::Likes::
Elements on the Periodic table, seemingly useless objects (junk), Soccer, Chemistry, Females, and listening to other peoples problems

::Dislikes::
Talking to anyone other then his brother, His Power ,and His parents

::Appearance::
A slender athletically built 21 year old standing at 6'2". His eyes are a light brown color His skin is a shade of light caramel, and his hair resembles curly brown sheep's wool. Before the incident Vas was a soccer prodigy, and was soon on his way to joining the national team as Back up. He has built up exceptionally strong legs, and has great cardio. He can run for miles without tiring and has built his arms to a nice definition. Though now he spends most of his time studying the elements, his brother still helps him maintain a strong physical body via their weekly Sambo conditioning, although Vas is more like a practice dummy he still manages to learn a great deal about the combat sport and over time has learned to defend himself . Vas lacks the devotion to personal appearance and tends to go a month at a time without even trimming his hair down although facial hair does not seem to be a problem. His apparel is of an exceptionally high class because of his personal requirement for fine clothing

::History::
Vassi Yuriiovitch Novikov ,born to Yurrii Novikov, and Viktoriya Novikov in the city of Izhevsk, Russia. Vassi (Vas for short) was gifted in soccer even at a young age, and he obtained his first soccer ball at 3 years old and for hours he would run in the back yard of his parents Mansion dribbling and shooting at the make-shift goal made by the butler Ivan. Vas was closer to Ivan than he was to his mother and father who were world class weapons scientist. Ivan watched over Vas and his older brother Roman when the Mister, and Misses were away at work. Vas grew up with special benifits due to his mother and fathers lucrative field of work. He was able to pursue his dream of becoming a professional soccer player in abnormal ways such as practicing in actual soccer stadiums rented out for hours on end using his parents money, and also having access to state of the art training facilities. On Vas's 16 birthday which was also the day of the Russian National Team tryouts Vas was called by his parents to come to the Lab. This being the first time ever being invited Vas was ecstatic. His parents then proceed to do Atomic reconstruction, and manipulation test on his body constantly pulling on his atoms while also secretly giving him the ability to force his will over the atomic structure of objects. this spans from allowing him to combine two objects together by there atoms, forming new objects by rearrange there atoms, or simply splitting single atoms to release large amounts of chaotic energy. Vas and his brother were cast of by there parents and brought in by Babylon to help control there unnatural powers. Vas fears his power, because he does not completely understand them but as his knowledge of chemical and atomic composition grow so do the horizons of his abilities. He and his brother were sought after by the Babylon school for exceptional youth after his parents openly dismissed them as failed projects rather than exceptional children. Within the first semester at the Babylon school his brother Roman learned of his ability to create cross dimensional tears. Unfortunately Roman's ability was not well controlled and it took a major toll on his health. In a botched attempt to travel to their past Vas was forced with his brother into the dying world of Homdale where they now look toward the mysterious tower, with hopes that he will return to his former health and be able to return home.

So begins...

The pulse of his heart thumped heavily in his chest. The blackened shroud that clouded his vision amplified the rhythmic beating inside his head. The pulsing resonated behind his right eye, the pressure was building within his skull.

"V-Vasssiii!", he screamed through the crippling headache. He attempted to swallow the pain but his attempt to power through the dimensionally induced trauma forced a stream of crimson red flowed from his nose. As the pressure released from his head his attitude mellowed drastically.

"V-Vassi....we're not going home for awhile.", he said quietly as his vision began to clear and a landscape of sand and more sand filled his scope. "Do you feel that?", he followed.

Roman could feel a heavy draw from his back, so heavy that it felt as if his very soul yearned to be closer. But to what? He turned around, stumbling, only to find himself gawking in awe of a structure so impressive, he couldn't help but wonder how it had gotten there. The fact that this wasteland was once a living planet was the most probable scenario.

Lifting himself up from the burning sand, he turned to look at his brother, who was still holding his head and kneeling. He could empathize. They had traveled before, but never had the recoil been this intense.
"This might be the future, this might be something comletly different. But if you feel what I feel, then we need to get to that tower as soon as we can. Are you well enough to get some water?", he asked.

Placing his hand on his head to try and coup with the agony Vas struggled to stand as the recoil of the trip took its toil on him. The beaming sun of their new location showered its blistering rays down upon the ocean of sand they now found them selves stranded in. His hair kept most of the sun from shining on his face, but he could feel its heat beaming down on him like nothing he'd every experienced before. "V-Vasssiii!" His brother's screaming voiced pierced through his pain.

Still to weak to stand Vas separated his fingers without taking them from his face and searched for where the voice originated. Not to far from him he could see a shadowy mirage that appeared to be Roman "B-Brother is....is that you?" he whispered, his voice to weak to carry.

Trying to stand his knees wobbled from the gravitational change. "Brother where have you brought us..." he thought to himself, as he fell back to one knee. He could hear his brothers voice again this time saying "V-Vassi....we're not going home for awhile." Not like we have a home to go back too he said to himself.

After taking a moment to gather some strength he yelled back to his brother Where are we?......and or better yet when are we?. waiting for his voice to travel Vas looked off into the distance only to see a dark tower souring over the sand dunes. Its presence felt as if it were pulling at his very being. His brothers voiced returned snapping him out of his gaze. "This might be the future, this might be something comletly different. But if you feel what I feel, then we need to get to that tower as soon as we can. Are you well enough to get some water?"

Brother do you see any water? Vas' reply hinted of sarcasm. He tries once again to regain his composure, this time managing to on stand on both feet.

The morning came quicker for Al'therin than he had hoped. How long he had been laying there, he did not know. When he awoke, the sun was directly above him, meaning it wasn't morning, but mid-afternoon. Though he was covered thoroughly with his torn robe trappings to prevent further burns, he had sweat too much while in slumber, leaving him soaked with dehydration. Al'therin quickly sat up to gaze at his surroundings. He was still here, in this dying unknown land.
"I must be dead. I have to be." Al'therin said to himself. "It's a little too hot for heaven though."
Al attempted to stand. He got up with no problem, then keeled over and dry heaved until his gut felt like he was being stabbed, over and over. He took the dagger from his side, just to make sure he really wasn't being stabbed. He sat there for a minute or two until the feeling in his stomach passed. He stood and took another long gaze, to the east, west, south and north. Nothing but a dead, dry barren wasteland. The trees were dead, the rivers were dry, the ocean bottom that he awoke in the first day he was here was dead as well. Even the mountains to the far north looked like the strange red, gold and brown color of the sand here. He was no longer sweating, but it felt like he was. It was a cold feeling. His head was hot. He was getting sick and he was in need of sustenance if was wanting to get better. There was nothing he could do but hasten his travel as quick as he could even in his condition, to the strange tower on the horizon.
On he walked, for hours it seemed like. The tower was directly in front of him. It would not be long until he arrived. He began to pacen up his approach, through the hot sad that was almost blinding to look at from the suns reflection. The tower truly did appear to shoot to the heavens. The closer he was to the tower, the more he could see the top. Stuck in wonder of the strange black structure, Al was not paying attention to his surrounding. He tripped over something with the weight of steel about it. He fell face first in the sand. Feeling dumbfounded, he turned around quickly to see what it was that had made him fall and feel like a fool. He crawled on his hands and knees and picked up what appeared to be a long, curved sword. He was in wonder struck. "What would a blade be doing all the way out here, in a desert for that matter." Al said to himself. "Expertly crafted. The smith put a lot of time and effort into this beauty. Why do I know this?" Al stood back on his feet, the hilt of the blade in his right hand and the tip of the blade itself resting in his left. "How could I know this? I don't even know myself." He became frustrated with so many questions to ask and no one around to answer them. He Proceeded to walk towards the tower once more, while examining the blade. Again, he stopped. His mind was struck with yet, another question as he read an inscription on the blade, near the bottom towards the hilt. It read, "To my dearest son Al'therin. With love, Sabian." How could this be? This was HIS sword, but he didn't know this. Let alone how to use one. He tried desperately to jog his memory. Lifting his head up, he hadn't realized that he had begun to walk again. He was at the tower. A broken black wall surrounded it. It too looked as if it had been dead for years, just like everything around him was. He brushed the thoughts of the inscription to the side, and fell to his knees. Sword still clutched in his right hand, he took his left and ripped the robe trappings from his head, letting his dark, wavy brown hair blow in the wind. He had done it. He had found his salvation.

"Hello!!" Al'therin yelled. "Anybody there! Hello!" There was no response. No one came to greet him. His hope for salvation was lost. He could feel a fever building up in him. The sickness was getting worse. He fell once again to his knees. Letting exhaustion take over. He glanced to the north and notice two blurry figures. They were approaching the tower as well.
"Hello...!" Al'therin said, putting his left arm out, reaching for them as if they were right in front of him. He collapsed once again from exhaustion and let the fever take over.

The heat felt to be literally draining the life from Vas as he tried to imagine the pain his brother was going threw. They staggered arms around each others shoulders through the golden burnt sienna sand. He could feel his satchel growing heavier with every step which only carried a legal pad of paper and a few wooden pencil's with matching sharpener, and his hair, which had been soaking all his sweat but was now running trails of sweat down his face and into his eye's. As they approach the tower Vas notices a human body laying down in what appears to be his own bodily fluids with a large wolf standing over it.

"Bro it may be the heat.... but that looks like a dead guy and a really big wolf..." he paused for a response while moving the hair from his face with his one free arm. "I for one don't intend on being eaten" reaching for his satchel he pulls out two pencils and holds them side by side in his palm.

Closing his eyes and focusing some of what was left of his energy on the atoms of the pencils, he fuses them together and arranges the natural wood atoms toward the bottom forming a hilt and exposing the graphite core. Next he focused on the carbon that composed the graphite picking up some sand with the same hand and bonding the protons of the sand with the protons of the graphite until each atom of graphite contains 22 protons and has chemically changed into titanium.

Holding his newly crafted titanium shank he thought to himself as they arrived at the tower "Nice Ice pick... what are you gonna do with that, the beasts already killed one person"he thinks to himself

"Still think this is a good idea?" He glances at his brother's answer then takes another look at the body laying in its own blood... or maybe it wasn't blood Vas wasn't sure now that he was up close, if it was, it wasn't the same color as his, meaning the body didn't come from earth, and by the looks of it neither did the wolf.

By the reaction of the man Golden felt a growing concern for her own welfare. Not only was he yelling in a language she didn't understand he also drew something shiny. In reaction she immediately backed off, tail between her legs. It was clear he did not understand her intentions. When he collapsed in his own vomit Golden began to understand that he was ill. She cautiously licked at his face. By that time the other two humans were close to the tower and were also making sounds.

Backing away from the collapsed man she moved to the base of the tower and started to dig in the sand. She could not think of anything else that would result in finding water unless the sky suddenly broke open with an unlikely downpour of water. Sending sand flying all around her she removed the hottest layer. The coolness of what lay underneath felt nice on her blistered paws.

It took a long time for her to dig deep enough to find damp sand. By then she was panting heavily and her beautiful fur was growing dark with sweat. She paused to lay in the shadow of tower, placing her head on her paws. Being a Wolf Cat she was rather large compared to the other beings. She wondered how to communicate with them. Golden certainly did not speak their language and projecting images the first time did not seem at all successful.

The others were not large enough for her to fear them but she was still cautious. On her home planet she always felt small when she was with her pack mates.

Roman's thoughts swayed like a pendulum as he tried to focus on moving towards the spire. He noticed his brother was helping him hold himself up. Normally he would have been disdainful of being cared for by his younger brother, but right now his state only allowed him to focus on the tower's draw.

"Bro it may be the heat.... but that looks like a dead guy and a really big wolf..."
"What does that mean to me? Do you want a pelt?" Roman retorted nasally as he pressed his shirt against his nose. The bleeding was slow but steady now.

Vas remained cautious around the creature. It was hairy, that much Roman had gathered, but he didn't sense any immediate danger. Vas, who had conjured an ice pick, was not so calm. In fact, his demeanor was a lot more aggressive than Roman was comfortable with. That is of course until the sight of Al's body became more than a blurry shade. Roman staggered back a step and fell to his knee, balancing himself with his hands.

"Still think this is a good idea?" said Vas
"Water was a good idea, whatever you're about to do is not."responded Roman now noticing the scene. The man was still breathing slightly, and there were no noticeable flesh-wounds.

"Wake him up Vas." he said after further thought. Vas began to retort, but Roman snapped back assured by his analysis. "Just do what I ask Vassi. This is not the time!" he said as his Russian accent began to slip through his struggling conscious.

After snapping he realized that his brother had come to a similar conclusion, that being this scene was not what they had first thought. The desert land and the dimensional travel had taken a fair toll on him. They were still a good ways from the spire itself, but they could clearly see the city that surrounded it, and the deadness that it held. As Roman's vision sharpened, he could see movement around the base of the spire. It was a creature. It was a horde of creatures. And they were big.

Unsure of what to do in his current situation, Vas searched his mind for the the answers while still battling the heat stroke about to come over him. Help this random man laying motionless in the sand, or tend to his own needs. These where Vas' options

"Wake him up Vas." Roman demanded. "But we don't know..." Vas began, but he was cut off by his brothers snapping retort. "Just do what I ask Vassi. This is not the time!"

Vas stood in silence for a few moments before getting down and sticking both hands into the sand. Using the only resource available he rapidly vibrated the atoms of the sand until they solidified and formed a bowl of glass. He pulled the newly formed and rather large bowl from underneath the sand and emptied the excess sand from its basin. Next Vas grabbed his hair and rang it dry into the bowl almost filling it with sweat. Next was his shirt and once that was rung dry Vas had enough sweat for his next plan.

"Lets hope this works"He thought to himself.

Sticking both hands into the sweat fill bowl Vas focused on attracting all the sodium atoms to his hands much like a magnet would metal, after about 30 seconds of this he removed his hands along with the impurities from his sweat, leaving only drinkable water left inside the basin. Taking a sip to test the quality he shrugged.

"Eh it will have to do, although I don't taste that bad" Vas cracked a smile at his accomplishment and proceeded over to the motionless body "Hey if you can hear me I have drinkable water... Can you sit up to drink?" Vas kneeled next to the body and held out the bowl of clear liquid. keeping a close eye on the wolf and on his brother who seemed more troubled by the horizon.

Golden found this strange ability of creating something from almost nothing disconcerting. She liked her idea of digging in the sand until she reached a water table but at the same time she still had to dig deeper. The sand was only damp, not wet yet. The heat was definitely taking its toll on her. She was used to darkness and dampness--everything here was the opposite.

As she continued to dig a low whine came from her throat. She was scared. She didn't know how to connect with any of the others and none of them seemed interested in connecting with her either.

The brothers already had a glass bowl of distilled sweat when brown water started to seep into Golden's sandy hole. She barked happily at the sight of the brown liquid. After lapping up a fee mouthfuls for herself she stood back for the others to admire her work. The water tasted the same as the sand, but it was there, just hidden far underground.

Pleased with her discovery, her long cat tail swayed happily and her tall ears pointed forward. Wolf Cats were always excellent at trusting their own instincts but Golden was rarely rewarded for her efforts. Having found water she now wished to focus on getting hydrated and then figuring out how to communicate with these other beings. She wondered if her secondary form would be more or less threatening, deciding she had little need to take that form here.

The sun was dropping below the horizon and the heat was quickly turning into a cold all to similar to Roman's native mother Russia. The draw of the tower was now pulsing deep beneath the prismatic sand. The pulses at this distance were irregular, but they came in shallow waves across the sand.

"Sit him up and have him drink. If he won't wake up we need to pick him up and figure out a way to get into that tower." said Roman standing fully aware now with a stoic glare focused at the tower.

I dont know what those things are but they look like trouble. We're going to need all the help we can get.

Almost subconsciously he began to redistribute his mass to his legs, a trick he had learned for competition combat. He used the displaced mass to lift the almost lifeless body onto a nearby stone slab and began a steady march towards the tower.

"And you, creature, if you are of any use you should come along." he continued back at Golden.

The pulses of the sand were coming slower now as the sand went from a deep red to a dark blue. With each one the waves were larger, now plainly visible to everyone. If this pattern continued, they were in for one hell of a trek.

"Sit him up and have him drink. If he won't wake up we need to pick him up and figure out a way to get into that tower." "A voice! Some one is here! And by god, it would appear they may have water!" Al thought to himself. He attempted to open his eyes. All he could see was brightness, and 2 dark figures. His vision was too clouded to be able to tell if they were human. He could still see that dog, cat thing. It looked harmless. It too was blurry like the other two figures. He fell back into a deep sleep, resting his eyes.

Vas raised the man's body to a slumped position against the dark mortared brick and pulled his jaw downward to pour the water he conjured.

"Maybe I should try osmosis, force the water into his body" thought Vas as he began to pour.
"It s a simple combination of atoms, and Ive been waiting for a chance to try my power on living objects." as he continued to pour carefully Vas' contemplated atomic transmission, thinking how during the transfer of protons electrons and neutrons there was a chance that neutrons could collided, destroying them selves and causing what ever her was transferring to become radioactive and deadly.

"Oh not to mention if whole atoms collided" Vas shook his head as he finished his thought out loud

The was refreshing. He could feel the coolness go down his raw, dry throat. It wasn't an instant reliefe, but it helped. He knew he was propped up against something. What it was, he did not know. He assumed the master of the cat dog was the one he aided him. That is, if it was the master. He attempted to open his eyes once more. He say the figure in front of him, and to his surprise, there was more than one. The cat dog was there, though in a hole that it looked like i dug. The man that was facing him was perched on one knee in front of him. His hair looked like that of a bush! His skin was also a brownish tan. There was one other. Behind him sat another dark skinned man. His hair was nothing like this mans, though. There features were very similar.
"They must be related." Al thought to himself.

He didn't know if should say anything to the strangers. But if they were the ones that helped him, he was grateful. He had qustions that need answering as well. He recovered some of his strength, he could tell. It was time to learn of this place.

"I thank you for the drink, friend." Al told the stranger with bushy hair. Speaking again was a nice feeling. But the raw feeling in his throat was still a nagging pain. It definitely didn't feel as bad though. "Where am I? How did i get here?"

Vas now noticed the man had regained consciousness and now seemed to be back from the dead. although his voice sounded horribly raw, Vas could understand his speech. "Where am I? How did i get here?" The man asked

Vas shrugged and answered "I dont know where you are or how you got here we just found you laying in the sand next to this old tower with that wolf-cat thing standing over you." looking in his brothers direction he called out to him

"umm bro he's awake and asking questions, my jobs done." raising to his feet Vas extended out his arm for the stranger to help him stand once again.

"I knew you both had to be related..." Al said through hoarse voice. "One could see it in your faces. Heh"
Al noticed the cat-dog. It didn't seek dangerous at all. It looked somewhat worried actually.

"Don't worry friendly creature. I won't hurt you and I believe these two men here mean you no harm." Al said to the thing. He felt dumb, hoping it would understand.
"My name..." Al had too swallow, his throat was still raw. "My name is Al'therin Romdor'es. And I have no memory of my past life. I woke up here in the desert. This is why a asked of the location we were in."

Zarah could see them. These new visitors. There was one that looked sick. He was leaned up against a peace of the old fallen down wall that surrounded the remaining city. She dared not move from where she was spying on them. She was perched up in a climbable crevis that was in the wall. It was almost like a tunnel shape cut out. It was black, just like the rest of the old ruined wall. There were two others with him. Dark skinned humans. One was helping him drink water. The other, just sitting down, most likely from exhaustion. The man that looked ill also looked like he was going through the same thing. Heat exhaustion.

She wanted to confront them badly, but thought twice of her actions. "More survivors." She thought to herself. "I thought we were the only ones left. Perhaps there are more contries out there that have not suffered Ah'bur's wrath like we have." She thought about it for a split second, and tossed the thought away. "Or, they could be spies sent from the Dead City. They usually had Sand Hounds with them. That sure looks like one. It also looks like a cat though." Zarah though out loud.

She would wait until she could find evidence from afar and find a chance to strike.

Vas glanced over at his brother staggering in the desert toward the tall black spire.

"No! get back here Roman..." Vas could tell his voice was out of range.

Without a second thought he took a large drink from the glass vessel, still leaving some for his new dehydrated companion, and burst out into a full sprint towards his brother.

"Get back here and drink" Vas called out to his brother but he was still to far for his voice to reach his brother. Why his brother was so drawn to the spire he could not understand but the closer he got to his brother... no the closer he got to the spire, the stronger the urge to follow its will was.

He finally caught up to his brother and tackled him by the legs taking him down to the sand slowly. "Stop you need to rest!" he yelled as he struggled to pin his brother to the now cold blue sand.
"You see those ruins over there. we'll rest over there for the night and tackle the spire when we all have our strength, you said you saw something.... do you really think you can take whatever it was you saw in your condition?" Vas ended his rant pointing unknowingly in the direction of the woman spying on them, and hopping his brother would see his good intentions in saving his life.

Golden rubbed her massive body against Al'therin. Her wolf like body stood half as tall as him. The rubbing was meant to be a consoling gesture. She hadn't realized how much the sun had weakened him. She was also suffering--the pads of her paws were still blistered and raw and her tongue remained dry despite the small bit of water she had been able to uncover. Able to see better in the growing darkness she surveyed the dead landscape.

Al'therin was leaning against a wall. Its stones were black and crumbling. About 200 yards ahead, opposite of the setting sun the tower stood. Spindly legged creatures seemed to guard the tower. Much closer to the, the brothers were arguing in that language that Golden struggled to understand. She had a much easier time reading the mens body language. Goldens stomach rumbled.

She wondered if the things near the tower could serve as her next meal. As the darkness grew however she realized they were actually more like the shiny metal that she had seen Al'therin holding. They would be hard and not at all suitable to eat. Golden huffed, and sniffed the air for a more likely prey.

She jumped up onto the crumbling wall. The black stones radiated with more heat than the sand around them. It irritated her paws and she was quick to jumpback down but a new smell had caught her attention. She swivelled her ears from side to side, growling low in her throat when she heard rocks tumble down from a crevis in part of the wall. She went to stand under Zarah's perch, hoping it was something to eat hiding there.

Roman was feeling a sense of fear that was growing as he approached the tower and the creatures. He heard his brother, louder now, it was strange. He felt his legs give under him, and in that moment the draw seemed to retract back into the tower. He realized that it was his brother that had tackled him and that he had been walking to what very well may have been his death.

"You see those ruins over there. we'll rest over there for the night and tackle the spire when we all have our strength, you said you saw something.... do you really think you can take whatever it was you saw in your condition?" said Vas as the fog of the spire lifted from Roman's mind.

"No...I don't know..." he shook his head ,"Let's go back and set up camp. It'll be cold soon and I don't want to freeze to death." he finished as he brushed himself off and stood to his feet.

He couldn't bring himself to be annoyed by his brother for tackling him, this universe was playing tricks on him and he had enough trouble keeping his thoughts straight. Roman took the water his brother had handed to him and drank it. It felt like he was downing the essence of life itself. That small bit of water had done wonders for him, and with his spirit now a bit stronger, he was focused enough to make use of his skills.

Once he made it back to the group, he put his powers to work. Sticking his hands in the sand he drastically lowered it's density, sinking the group an inch into it before drastically increasing the mass making a holding ground. Next he created a strong gravitational field above their heads, shifting the low density sand into a dome above their heads.

Golden stood on the sand beneath the woman, disappointed that she had not found food. Merely another being that looked much like the others and spouted more nonsensical noise at her. Although Golden thought she was beginning to understand what the speech. Or perhaps she was just growing more adept at reading their body language.

In response to what the woman said Golden projected the image of her home world into her mind. Accompanied by her pack which consisted of five others like herself. Meanwhile the brothers had returned to where Al'therin rested. One of them was making a shelter of sand. The strange ability to change the very substance of something still scared Golden but it did seem more useful that harmful.

She was getting the impression that everyone intended to settle down for the night--which made no sense to Golden. Night time seemed like the best time to travel. She sent an image of everyone sleeping during the day into Romans mind. Then an image of everyone walking at night. After looking at Al'therin again though it did seem like everyone needed a rest for this night at least.

Zarah felt like she was hit in the head by something. She had a...vision? This was not normal for her. Her eyes were closed, she could see lots of wolf cats in a heavily wooded area. A group of five, one of them running off. The wolf cat that was running away looked identical to this furred one.

All of a sudden, Zarah had a strange feeling in her stomach. An up feeling...? She couldn't explain it. Her heart started to race, faster and faster as well. She opened her eyes and yes, she was falling. Backwards, actually. She could see the stars and the "Citadel". She crashed into the sand below. She had knocked the wind out of herself, but managed to get back on her feet. "What was that i saw in my head?" Zarah thought to herself. When she managed that, she noticed the three men were staring straight at her and it looked like they had questions...
