a character in “Home Sweet Home...Maybe”, as played by Crickets...

Description

Name: Joseph Evan Collins

Name You Prefer To Be Called: Joey

Age: Seventeen

Gender: Male

Face Claim: Joey Graceffa

Image

Reason You Came Here: Joey's parents were coming back from his grandma's house in the winter and their car came off the road, killing them both. He had no relatives who wanted or could take him in.

Personality: He is a generally funny, happy person with an amazing amount of enthusiasm. He's a loving, caring person and he just wants to make people feel better. Horrible, hurtful comments just go over his head now because he's trained himself to forget about them and not let them hurt him. He's a loud, boisterous person in a non-annoying way. If he gets nasty comments from people that he's trying to impress, he sometimes gets a little bit sad because he tries so hard to impress people. He's also an aspiring singer and loves music.

So begins...

Joey

A sensation of vibrating from under his chest woke Joey up. His eyes shot open, stretching and yawning as he did so. He then realised that his phone alarm was going off. Sighing deeply, he shifted so he could sit up and check his phone. As he unlocked it, the picture of him and his two best friends was shown. The chestnut-haired boy smiled, thinking of his friends back in Los Angeles. He missed them more than anything...

"No, I have a new life now," he told himself, walking towards his wardrobe. After a minutes, he pulled out a navy and white pinstriped t-shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. He threw a hoodie over the top of it and made his way downstairs to the kitchen, where Kallie and Hilary were standing.

"Morning, guys," he greeted cheerfully.

Emmanuelle

Sounds echoed off the walls into a room where sat a little girl brushing her long hair. Each corner of her lips were as high as they could be, she put down the brush and ran out of the room where the three older kids gathered. Wanting attention she smiled up at all of them with her big grin, Emmanuelle couldn't help but look at all of them.
"Hiya." She hugged them all as she skipped toward the kitchen. "Bye!" She yelled back.
Emmanuelle could just tell it was going to be a good day.

HILARY
She felt a kid hug her. Her eyes opened a little wide in suprise . "Yeah bye.." She looked at the boy who had en tered before the young girl and replied to his greeting with a polite but simple "Hey.." She was still waking up. She started to help Kallie lay the table without another word Hilary was the type of girl who was either really loud or really quite apparently now she was being quite she'd get louder as the day went by most people knew better then to think she'd be quite all day that was probably impossible for Hilary. She finished laying the table then hovered around lost in her own little world of madness and punk and pop bands.

Joey felt someone hug him before yelling a goodbye. He smiled faintly and looked around the kitchen, searching for his favourite box of cereal. Humming to himself, he snatched it out of a cupboard and began pouring it into a bowl before adding some milk. Afterwards, he made himself a quick coffee and sat at the table, spooning up his cereal. He didn't know what to say the others. After all, nobody seemed awake enough to manage a full conversation.

"Good, I guess," he replied, smiling as he sipped at his coffee. Coffee was essential part of his day, even though it made him hyper and buzzed. He was a generally happy, funny person with a permanent grin on his face. He looked up at his adopted sister, who was taking a bite out of an apple. They got on well, not in an always talking and standing up for each other fashion but in a friendly way.

KALLIE
She smiled as the entergetic young girl ran through. Then Hilary started asking about everyone's night. Kallie shook her head and looked up. "Kaleb is still sick. He was up and down all night. I'd be surprised if he got an hour of sleep althogether. Poor baby." She was heartbroken. He was her responsibility and he's so sick. She had no way to get medical help for him and didn't know what kind of medicine to get him.

"Aw," he said sympathetically. He always cared for the younger ones and it seemed horrible when they were sick because you felt useless. There was no point in telling her to ask Richard or Martha because she insisted on taking care of him. "There should be some children's medicine in the bathroom cabinet, it deals with most sicknesses. I saw it when I was brushing my teeth." He dumped his bowl in the sink and quickly rinsed it off.

Jeremy

A steady heart beat was going throw his chest as each step was taken down the steps. When what would cause the heart to race came from the corner of the eye and there it was standing and smiling. Her foot steps grew louder as she got closer. The moment the impact hit, the heart raced out of the body and pounded into the world. This feeling made Jeremy angry.
"Get off of me!" His voice was stern.
Jeremy set off to the kitchen as he left the young girl, he did not turn to see her. She was too much like his once beloved sister, and he hated her for having life while she was only a dead memory.
He got to the kitchen were there stood three other children. Jeremy didn't make it his mission to make friends, but he had no problems with them. For many moments they had talked for a few minutes, but there was always a feel of everyone holding back secrets, but Jeremy wasn't one to judge about keeping secrets.
"Hey." The word just came out without a thought.

Joey

"Hey, Jeremy," he greeted with a smile. He knew better than to ask about the incident with the younger girl and so he directed his attention to eating a handful of blueberries that he picked from the fruit bowl. H could remember when his mother used to pick them from the bushes in their back garden and then she'd make various blueberry based food. He smiled widely at the memories.

Joey

"What are you guys doing today?" he asked, popping another blueberry into his mouth and scanning the room with his eyes. He hadn't lived here for long but it already felt like he'd memorised the whole layout of the large house. He received a text from one of his friends from back home and smiled softly at himself, unlocking his phone. He chuckled quietly, typing back before looking up.

Emmanuelle

The sharp tone in Jeremy's voice had upset the balance of happiness in the small child. It had shaken her up to the point of tears, so she waited until he would not notice her and walked into the kitchen. Her eyes glazed over as she saw the teens talking not speaking up was something she didn't know how to do. "A simple collection of words couldn't hurt" thought Emmanuelle.
"I'm going to feet the baby goats!" Her small voice echoed as she talked, her tone was excited.
Emmanuelle never had a pet before, and the first animal that was named to her that the Stone's had was goats, becoming her favorite animal.

"I'll come with you," he said, perfecting the angle of his chestnut brown hair. He'd never had a pet before, except for a goldfish when he was six. Nobody thought he was responsible enough, probably. He'd taken a liking to the goats, like his adopted sister. He walked alongside her.

Jeremy

She strode out with Joey making the pain sink into his soul a little deeper. The room began to spin out of control as she skipped out with a huge grin, at that moment Jeremy saw his own flesh and blood sister standing there smiling at his. This caused him to pick up Emmanuelle and hugged her tightly, pushing his face inside her neck. A reality check didn't happen until he heard someone cough.
His arms slip out making Emmanuelle fall to the ground, but because of the quick dropped she had not prepared herself causing her to land on her butt. Tears clouded her eyes but she just kept smiling.
"I'm sorry." Jeremy ran out of the room back his room.

Joey

He frowned, not knowing why Jeremy had just done that. He wanted to know and wanted to help but he knew that he would never trust anyone in this house. His eyes landed onto the fallen girl on the floor, he offered a hand to pull her up. "Are you okay?" He asked.

HILARY
She walked outside and when she saw the girl couldn't help feel sympathetic for her. "You ok Emma?" Hilary always called Emmaunelle Emma it was just shorter and easier. She chewed her lip as Joey helped the girl up. She knew most of the kids here thought she was weird and would rather have her out the way that was the only reason she refrained from helping the little girl. She looked at Joey then Emma with her dark eyes she looked as if she were a million miles away mind you her eyes were that dark golden brown colour do it was hard to work out how she felt anyway. She rubbed her own wrist awkwardly then slipped her hands down to her sides.

"Hey, Hillary," he greeted, smiling small. He tried to be nice to everyone on the household and he generally liked Hillary, though she could be a bit weird for time to time but then again, he was always crazy and weird. "Do you want to come and feed the goats with us?"

((Sorry I was on a school trip))

KALEB

The young boy awoke after only a few hours of sleep to a bird chirping outside the window. He sat up in the bed and looked at the blue bird sitting on the closed window sill. He slowly got out of bed and walked over to the window, careful not to scare the bird. He stood on tiptoes to unlock the window, but couldn't reach it. The bird flew off in fear of Kaleb and he huffed and ran downstairs. He hurried into the kitchen, smiling away. When he saw all the people in the kitchen, his smile faded. "K...Kallie..." he whispered.

KALLIE

Kaleb came into the room, the scared look of a little boy on his face. "Come here Kaleb honey." He ran to her and she picked him up, holding him close to her. He layed his head on her shoulder, and she enjoyed the closeness of her little brother. She checked to see if his temperature had gone down any. His forehead was warm, but not as hot as it had been last night. "You feel any better?" He shook his head yes. "Good. You want breakfast?" He smiled and nodded quickly, lifting his head from her shoulder.
