Manager and Owner of Hotel Transylvania
All the qualities that make the Prince of Darkness the indisputable leader of monsters—his strength, dominance, charisma, and perhaps over-controlling nature—also happen to make him an excellent hotel manager. Problem is, where his daughter Mavis is concerned, he’s a softy. Fearful for his daughter’s safety, he’s kept her in the sanctuary of his hotel her entire life, away from the torch-wielding humans he remembers so well. But now, he's given her permission for her and her boyfriend to travel the world and be happy. This is certainly caused him to be a bit twitchy and clingy when it comes to his friends and the ones he holds close.
Claws, Cape
Being known as the Count isn't simply a nickname. Long ago, Dracula was a Count, very wealthy and well known in his little part of the darkness. He fell into a story-book romance and was soon living the Dream; he had a wonderful and beautiful wife, and a darling little girl. That was until the humans began to fear them, and turned on them. In the head, he and his daughter were the only two to survive the attack. With the love of his life gone, Dracula took his daughter into hiding and vowed to never let anything happen to her. He became fast friends with his longtime companions; Frankenstein, Wayne the Wolfman, Griffin and Murray the Mummy. He watched as their families grew, but never found the heart to date or re-marry. He devoted his life to his hotel which he could use to keep his precious Mavis safe.
But, he's learned to cut back a little and allow his monster companions and guests to have a bit more fun. With the few humans that dare venture in, he's slowly getting used to the idea. Though, he still puts up a fight when someone yells "Bleh-bleh-BLEH!"
