Well, they're not really my codes, but I use them often whenever I create role-plays. A lot of people struggle with it since there's so much going on. I mean, what even is this?

color=MAIN]â[/color]Xcolor=SECOND]â[/color]

That's weird coding, and speaking of coding, there's a lot of coding to do in the ones that I use, isn't there? Well, I know a few people have found this little 'cheat,' but for those who don't, here's the way I quickly finish a character with my coding...
So what I find that scares most people away from this coding is the colors. Yes, they're that thing I showed as an example up there. There's a lot of that. In fact, it nearly takes up half of the code. But it's fairly easy to fill out without having to type each thing individually.
I use a Mac computer, so I'm not sure if it's any different for you Windows users out there, but this is how I do it-
Microsoft word. Yes, that. I open it up and copy paste the whole code on there.
After that, go to the top of the screen and click edit and then find.
Afterwards, click replace and you'll be brought to this.
Below 'Find and Replace,' type in either 'Main' or 'Second.' These are the two open spaces that need to be filled with a color or a bbcode color. To find bbcode colors, I use this website. Just to be safe, types in the numbers (with the hashtag) instead of the color itself since that will always work. After typing it in, click replace all to replace every word (Main or Second or whatever you typed in above) with that color. And that's it! You've finished coloring the side bars!

Yes, I'm still talking about those colorful things on the side of the roleplay. The thing is, some people don't know how to make them longer or shorter according to how long/short their pictures or descriptions are.
It's simple. All you have to do is take a line like this-
color=MAIN]â[/color]color=transparent]X[/color]color=SECOND]â[/color]
(with the proper format of course, I had to remove a few brackets so it wouldn't code into this)
And duplicate it. Each time you copy and paste the whole line, another bar will set up.

The bar on the top and bottom serve as a sort of opening and closing for the whole bar itself, so while you can duplicate those instead of the ones in the center, it's nicer just to use the ones that make up the body.
Now, it's kind of hard to find where to put your images in the code with everything being so messy and crowded. Unfortunately, I don't really have a solution to this except just trying to find it. They'll have the typical {img}IMAGE HERE[img} kind of look.
Most of the images put in there should be around 500px in width, as it's easier to read your whole sheet and looks nicer. If you put something in that's over 500px, it may work, but be aware that if it's too big, the sheet will get out of whack and won't look right. There will be another tutorial on how to resize images or gifs and crop them.
