HEIGHT
      Tori stands at 5'4.

WEIGHT
Documents show her overall weight being over two hundred and fifty pounds, despite her looking much lighter than this.

HAIR COLOR
Her hair is perhaps one of her most human-looking traits, being of a very distinct blonde color.

EYE COLOR
Her eyes are a dark blue around the pupil, suddenly transitioning to a lighter blue before the sclera.

SKIN TONE
Her skin has a very, very fair white tone to it.

GENERAL APPEARANCE
Of average height for a young woman, if she were to don human clothing, this android would look every bit as human as the next person. Her hair is short with some waves as it reaches the ends, and is a distinct bright blonde color. Her skin is without blemish or flaw, seeming to be rather pale with some slight coloration in the cheeks. From her collarbone up to around her chin and the edges of her face is a white plastic-like material, feeling smooth and almost soft to the touch, to guard the machinations behind said point. Upon her head is a headband of gold with triangles of black carved into it, attached to red circles over the ears that would reflect modern day headphones.

The flexible plastic around her neck extends down her torso and arms, looking as if to be white clothing. At her collarbone, the material folds over like a collar where a red ribbon is tied in a bow. This plastic takes shape over her torso, arms, legs, and pelvic areas. At her shoulders and hips is a gold-painted steel joint to allow her to move her shoulders and legs with ease. On her shoulders, this steel extends to her mid-bicep and on her legs it covers up to her mid-thigh. On her left and right sides are zippers to reveal her inner workings for repairs, tune-ups, etc. On her back in the center is a wind-up key, the same golden steel that mimics her joints in color.

The android's fingertips and boots are both made of pure stainless steel, unpainted. The purpose for the sudden change in style is currently unknown. But like every part on this "woman's" body, they do serve a purpose. With some real human clothing on, and not some coverings made to look like clothing, she could pretty easily pass as a human for sure.

Personality
✧Curious✧Calculating✧Monotone✧Confused✧
Tori possesses the curiosity of a small child. Her eyes gaze upon things with wonder and fascination, always wondering what things are and how they work. Her main curiosities lie in humans, for they are so varied in every aspect. No two humans ever seem to be or function exactly the same. Her curiosity is a bit misguided, and can often be dangerous as her mechanical instinct to figure out how things work sometimes lead her to want to "disassemble" things to find out what she wants to know. With the right guidance, perhaps she can be broken of this train of thought. This curiosity is probably the most dominantly human thing about her.

As a machine, she is calculating and cold to a fault. She speaks bluntly, not understanding the concept of buttering words up to soften blows. She will analyze people and her environment to the best of her ability and do her best to function with such surroundings. For the time being, this knowledge is rather limited as her world experience is close to none.

She speaks in a monotone voice with only the slightest of inclinations that really do not seem befitting a machine. Her speech also comes out rather broken, putting in brief pauses between a few words (which I will represent with commas in-character) as though her body was having some struggle to speak. Compared to the other robots in Astrios, however rare they are, she is clearly something unique just based upon how she interacts with others. She takes her time and responds at rates nearly identical to that of a human as well.

Confused is the perfect way to describe this poor soul. A soul forced into a body that it doesn't belong in, enduring memory loss from the shock, she is practically starting life all over. Some of the simplest objects in everyday life are new and strange to her, yet all are somehow familiar. The fact that she can see something new and still feel as if she knew it really confuses her. For one example, the discovery of "forks" was strange to her. Its design and function were bizarre to her, yet she knew just how to hold it immediately.

LIKES
Humans||Perhaps the biggest marvel and mystery to her, humans fascinate her in a way that no other thing on the planet can.
Plants||They possess a still life to them, something not commonly seen in Astrios. They are a rarity to her, and as such are something to be fascinated by.
Learning||The quest for knowledge with no end goal is something she inheritly enjoys. She can't remember when she started liking it, but she does not foresee herself stopping any time soon.
Eyes||They say that eyes are the gateway into the soul. There's a certain static feeling that she gets in her gears when she looks a human directly in the eyes. It brings her to a time and place that she can't ever recall being in...
The Ball||The ball is an extension of herself. Something that acts upon her will and acts almost like a guardian to her. It reminds her almost like a father, a concept she seems to actually have an understanding of... however loose that understanding actually is.

STRENGTHS
Magic: The Ball|Oddly enough for a machine, Tori can command the forces of magic. They are channeled through her ball as a form of metalmancy. It has two main modes: Combat and Non-Combat. In Non-Combat, it appears as just a plain, floating ball of metal. In Combat mode, blades will come out through the mid-section horizontally. Tori controls the ball with four simple commands: Ravage, Pulse, Protect, and Throw. Ravage will permit her to move the ball, damaging anything it touches, dealing less and less damage the more it hits. Pulse will cause the blades to expand, leaving a rune on the ground that will speed up anything that touches it for a short burst. Protect will move her ball to someone she classifies as an ally, making the ball take some damage for them and float with them until commanded to return or if it moves too far from Tori. And finally, Throw. Throw is ironically actually a pull. Wherever the ball is, it will emit a shockwave that pulls everything in a certain vicinity (a medium-sized circle) to the ball.
Overclock Mode||This mode activates in moments that will put the soul under severe stress and pressure, allowing her body to release its concealed weapons. Her boots will allow her to move swiftly in any direction, also granting short burts of aerial movement. Her fingertips will open up like a hatch revealing four barrels in her fingers that shoot steel projectiles at high speeds. Hidden inside her body, the plastic coating will rip open if not taken off in advance and a machine will overtake one of her arms. This machine resembles a modern day minigun, permitting short bursts of fire, ten bullets per shot. Altogether, finger and minigun included, she only has 100 bullets until restocked.
Memory||Everything she learns, sees, etc. is stored within her machine's core, which can be called upon at any time. She is incapable of forgetting things once she had (re)learned them.

WEAKNESSES
Overclock Mode||As incredible as this shift in power is, there are plenty of downfalls to it. For starters, it taxes upon her mechanical parts immensely, causing them to overheat and lock up for a few minutes after the time limit expires. On top of that, Overclock Mode only lasts 45 seconds at tops. She can exit the mode manually (with some training) to reduce the time she is left locked up. Finally, Overclock can rip her white coatings, exposing her machine parts. Anyone with an understanding of machines will be able to know where to attack her to shut her down or incapacitate her if visible. They would need to be replaced as soon as possible.
Naivete||Her naivete and curiosity has a tendency to get her in trouble. Apart from her desire to dissect things from time to time, occasionally her lack of understanding of basic things will lead certain people to suspicion.
Soul Bound||While she doesn't know it, a soul cannot remain permanently bound in a vessel apart from its original makings. At least not with the magics that Rorek had at his command. Within some time, the soul will begin to reject the machine host. As for when and where that will happen, nobody really knows. Tori herself is not even aware of this not being her original body.
Key||Upon her back, as mentioned before, is a wind-up key. Until further improvements can be made to her model, this key needs to be fully wound once every twenty-four hours for her to continue functioning. She cannot reach it herself, so it must be done by another. It can be fully wound earlier, resetting the twenty-four hour timer to then. If she shuts down, she will lose memory up to two hours prior to the shut-down.

BIO
There once was an inventor by the name of Rorek Reveck. He was renowned in Astrios for his inventing skill. The devices he made were both beautiful and effective, always works of art. But of all of his creations, none matched his daughter, Victoria. A beautiful girl whose appearance was the envy of all Atrosian women. She was very talented as a dancer as well. But she had a desire to be something that she never could. She wanted to become a Solari Knight. Now, she was not completely understanding of the fact that these Knights are chosen at birth, raised through nobility and birthright. She thought one could train to become one with time. And train she did.

In time, she discovered an innate ability with magics, though their natures could not accurately be traced back to any form... before she died. Her wide-eyed naivete locked on the Order of the Solari, she set out on a journey. A journey that got the ill-prepared girl killed within moments. When her father found her body, he was overcome with grief. His daughter, that which he valued above all else, the only family he had left that wasn't either deceased or runaway, was dead. He simply could not live with her. He took the fresh body back to his workshop and got to work immediately. He was already beginning work on a humanoid construction. It was not too late to re-make it in her image. And that he did.

This humanoid construction was originally going to be a gift to the Lunari, a counterpart to the Solari, as a bodyguard of sorts. But now, now Rorek had a different idea in mind. This famed inventor was not originally from Astrios. Gravios, land of the dead and necromancy, was once home to him. And he was once there as a student of necromancy. He had abandoned those days for a more mechanical way of creation with his metal magic, but now, he was to combine the two. With a transfer device run off of his necromantic magics, he had taken Tori's soul and put it in the machine. The robot came to life, living and sentient, but with no recollection of who she was. The inventor was happy to have his daughter back regardless. But a few years passed and he realized that he was still flesh. She would outlive him without aging a day.

At this point, it is important to realize that the man who would do this to his daughter is not completely right in the head... which is why he decided to complete the creation. This robot had a second part, a weaponized ball. Tori would not know what to properly do with it. So he contacted the Lunari Temple and asked to send a representative. For the present he had promised them years ago. And with his dark, twisted magics, he implanted his soul into the weapon. Time would pass with the robotic woman being unwound. Her body would remain inactive, slumped against the front counter of the inventor's shop, her ball beside her. In the back room, the inventor's corpse lay with a smile on his face and a note in his hand...

Someone stood in front of the formerly most-popular inventor shop in Chalybs. Be they the member of the Solari that was sent to investigate Rorek Reveck's disappearance, a citizen whose curiosity had them poking around the site, or someone completely different, they were there. The large glass windows that once allowed one to peer into the shop of wonders were now covered completely with dust. If one were to look through them, it would just blanket their vision in grey. The wooden framework, quite bizarre to be seen in the steel city, around it seemed almost decayed, cracked and weathered. Even the door mimicked the framework. Old, worn, beaten down by the forces of time and weather. The door, though locked, would crack open anyway when opened and the metal lock of the door would completely break through the rotten wood.

Dust that had been sitting for years would stir with the opened door, flitting about the air for a short time before falling back into place. Inside was what was once a great shop. Shelves along the walls were littered with antiques and strange devices, probably unknown to one not from Atrios. But what was really attention-grabbing would be the humanoid device, whose arm rested upon a steel ball, that was sitting propped up by the wind-up key on its back against the front counter. Somehow, neither had a speck of dust on them, leaving her pale face and bright blonde hair unblemished by decay and age. The grey, empty eyes on the machine-woman would seem to stare right into the core of the store's intruder. But it did not move. In between its legs was a small, porcelain music box. Every few seconds it would painfully let out one note in its song, making it hard to find any certain melody in the dying device. It was almost eerie, for the shop was completely silent otherwise.

A mouse's squeak could be heard as it noticed the intruder, scurrying and creaking open the door behind the desk. If someone were to see into the crack, they would find the decaying body of an old man, a piece of aged paper fallen on the ground beside him. Should they choose to read it, it would say only this:

"Wind her up. Bring her to the Gravios Temple." And it would say nothing more. The text was barely legible with the aging on it.

But what would happen with this abandoned store would all depend on what the stranger standing outside the store would decide to do. Surely there was plenty to see, and steal, in this building...

A small gasp escaped the man as he glanced about the shop. Setting the note down carefully, wincing and gagging at the scent of decay. His gaze instantly fixed onto the robotic woman. Lying there as if in some sort of dream, this seemed to the man like something out of a fairytale. Well, a fairytale turned dark. He had seen worse sure, but this was definitely pretty awful. Taking a deep breath of the vile air, he began winding up the woman. Thoughts filled his mind, what might await him once she awoke? Probably nothing good moron. He shook his head, anticipation and excitement taking over his body, his hands shaking lightly.

Was this it? The thing he had so long been searching for? Something crossed his mind, what if the place he was "supposed" to take her to, was actually looking for her? In his mind, he briefly weighed the pros and cons. And. . . The pros have it! He laughed inwardly, yup, he was totally insane. This could be the biggest trap he'd ever blindly blundered into, and he'd done that more than he'd care to admit. Biting his lip as he struggled to wind her up, it seemed the age was a factor, also his lack of actual physical strength might've played a part there.

With a grunt, he got it all the way wound up. On some crazy man-whim from deep within him, he reached out and softly rubbed his thumb over the woman's cheek. She was cold, obviously, yet she wasn't. Something in her stirred as he did this. His instincts were screaming at him to get away but he couldn't pry himself away from her. She was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen, even if she was a robot. Or maybe she was just some new-age toy. . . Either way, Nyles was entranced. For once in his life he completely ignored his gut.

The entire duration of him winding the key, there was a silence in the room. Even the spaced music box notes seemed to come to a halt, as if waiting for the awakening of the humanoid machine being wound up. Only the clicks of the key turning made a sound, spare his breath as he worked at the key. The blank grey of the bot's eyes just stared into the store's intruder without intent, without presence. Yet as his hand touched upon her cheek, they closed and her head dropped suddenly. With no warning, a blue light emitted from her chest's core that grew brighter and brighter with no signs of relent. Her arms shook with a mechanical spasm that nearly knocked him upside the head before the bot fell back against the counter again, limp as the light faded away into the nothing that would leave the store dark once more. Again, silence returned to the room whose dust had been blown around in the air from the light emitted from the machine.

A solid minute passed before she finally moved. An action as simple as lifting her head, opening her eyes to reveal two rings of differently shaded blue. The outermost ring most reflected the light shone from her activation, bright and almost having a sense of life behind it. The machine blinked twice, slowly, before turning her head to scan the area. "Location: Unknown. Time: Unknown. Location of Father: Unknown. Beginning assessment of area." The tone was flat, as to be expected of a robot. Rising to her feet, she began moving around the store, studying everything she saw with great detail. She seemed to pay the thief no mind as she did so. Before too long, she stopped moving and spoke once more. "Assessment complete. Location: Reveck Gadgets and Gizmos. Store of father. Time: Unclear, signs of, decay. Estimated lapse in time, deactivation possible. Location of Father: Unknown." It seemed that as she stated the location of a "father" was unknown, the tone in her voice dropped the slightest bit.

Only after the store was surveyed did she direct any word at the thief. Approaching him with a gaze so curious that it was clearly written on her face, she peered into his eyes. She stared in silence for a while, an intense look in her own eyes as she tried to analyze him. "Identity: Unknown. Threat Level: Minimum to none." Her head cocked slightly to the side as she drew closer, her face a mere couple of inches from his as she kept her eyes locked on his. "Potential thief. May know, about Father's disappearance." Reaching her white-draped hand up to his face, she felt out the jawline, using her thumbs to touch upon his other facial features. This did not last too long as she dropped her arms to her sides and stepped back. "Face memorized. Height memorized. Inpu-" The robot cut herself off as something else drew her attention. The door to the back room was opened. This seemed to trouble the robot as she pushed the man aside and stepped behind the counter. Two mice rushed past her feet in fear as she peered behind the doorway. She did not enter, but merely stared down at the rather gruesome sight before her. "Father is, sleeping? Analyzing." Stepping inside, she crouched beside the body of her creator. Once again, her head cocked to the side. "Father is not sleeping. Chest does not rise or fall. There also appears to be, a leak." Her white-tipped fingers dropped to the floor to touch across a darkened stain. "The leak, is old. Sensors indicate that repairs, may be needed." The mechanical woman rose to a stand once more, returning to the store front. Looking back at the man who wound her key back up, she asked plainly, "Father is, broken. His chest will not rise. Or fall. He does not blink. Nor does he, smile when I am near." Opening a draw and sifting around in it, she eventually pulled out a saw made for cutting through solid steel. "We must, repair. How does one, repair a, human? I do not, know what parts to use. Where can I obtain, parts?"

To a human, it would be plain as day that her "father" was dead, no longer amongst the living. It was clear now that this robot had no understanding of the concept of death. No data collected of how humans function, or their differences between machines like her. The man had been dead for a couple of months, if not more. Not even a priest of a high caliber could bring him back now, only barely recognizable as the man once known as Rorek Reveck.

Jumping back as the woman woke up, Nyles watched her scan the room. Oh yeah, this is gonna make me somebody. He watched her with a bit of sadness in his heart as she analyzed her surroundings. It was awful, but Nyles shook it off, he didn't care about this robot. It was just a device.

Even though Nyles told himself that, he told himself she was just something to make him powerful, watching her panic in her own way hurt. She scanned the old man, her creator, Nyles put together as she referred to the decayed corpse. He couldn't watch her do this anymore, he just couldn't. He had to get out of here and he had to take this woman-bot with him.

"Erm. . . Hey blondie, you want parts? I know where to get some. Just come with me and I'll take you to 'em." Nyles smiled his best "salesman" smile. He would lead her out of here and burn this building down. It was the only way. Walking over to shelves he began taking things he thought might be valuable and shoving them into his satchel. It was the only way, he figured if this building was gone she'd stop the madness of trying to repair her decayed daddy.

"Alright, let's get goin' shall we blondie?" Nyles said holding out his hand to her. He wondered if she knew what that even meant.

The man knew where to find parts? He said so with a smile, a smile meaning based on previous experience that he was happy. Perhaps he was excited to help the machine repair her father... Since he had knowledge that she did not, she decided it would be best to follow him. "Primary Master: Out of commission. Preparing temporary master protocol." Remaining beside the intruder, her eyes went completely white for a brief moment as her jaw fell open. It was as if she temporarily boot down, because after just a moment her eyes returned and her face returned to its normal blank expression. "Temporary master protocal initiatied. Until former master, Father, is repaired, you will take, possession of me. Please input your name." Her waiting on his name did not seem to affect her ability to move around. He was already recognized as her owner in her mechanical mind.

"I am the humanoid machine model number S3S, codename SEES. I am a weapon in the guise of a human girl. Father referred to me as Tori. Until Father is repaired, I am your gun and shield." To someone not native to Chalybs and the outskirts of the city, the word "gun" might not make any sense at all. But she felt no need to explain it, never having left this very shop. She wouldn't know whether people would know what a gun is or not, after all. As he extended his hand, though, she stared at it with curiosity in those human-looking eyes. She seemed to be on pause for a moment as a memory came to her. A man who resembled her father, but younger, had held his hand out to her in the steel streets of the city. She watched as she reached out a hand of her own to take it... but her own arm was made of flesh and significantly smaller than it was now.

Her neck seemed to jolt her head upright as the memory stopped. Her eyes seemed to lose the humanity they had a moment ago as she re-enacted this memory and let her metallic hand rise and fall into his. She understood that it meant he would be leading her away without factoring in the earlier plan to find parts. But why was this? This was not something that Father had any use for in the last twelve years. She had no experience or record in her data banks... She felt a sense of confusion, like there was a lost file. She simply registered it as that to continue her function. "Let us depart, then. We must act quickly before, Father is beyond repair."
