Appearance:
Image

Her eyes:
Image
Amethyst usually has long, dark brown hair and glowing purple eyes. That's right. Purple. That is the only thing she cannot change about her appearance. Her purple eyes always stay. She's short for her age, only 5' 2", and built slim, only weighing about 94 pounds.

Personality:
Amethyst isn't as girly as her name would make you think. She's actually an extreme tomboy, loving to get down and dirty. She's not afraid to fight if she has to, but would never intentionally hurt someone who never tried to hurt her. Amethyst is a tad reckless, with a short temper. Make her mad, you'll regret it. Promise. Amethyst can't be contained, for she has an itch to explore and to learn about the rough world she lives in.

Past Moments:
When Amethyst was young, she had free reign, her parents knowing the consequence for keeping her contained. They knew she was smart enough not to get caught, but they still worried quite a bit. One specific time when she was out, she almost ran into a human hunter. Being the outdoors girl she was, she climbed a tree, staying out of sight until the hunter passed. Realizing then and there how dangerous the world was, she used the branches of that tree to make a bow and arrows, to which she later added string, spearheads, and feathers. She enjoys carving the wood of her bow with her pocket knife, adding a nitch for each memorable and successful usage.

Notable Equipment:
    Bow
    Arrows
    Pocket Knife
    Dark Sunglasses
Psychic Powers:
Can change her own appearance at will

Amethyst sat at the top of the tree, balancing precariously on the edge of a branch. Well, precariously, perhaps, for some. But not for her, no siree. For she had always been built small, light enough to perch on the thinnest of branches, agile enough to catch herself if she fell. She probably should have told her family where she was, but that dwould just defeat the purpose. The purpose of being alone, the purpose of getting her mind off things. Or trying to, anyways. It never seemed to work, try as she might. It was weird. Up until... a while ago... she had been perfectly capable of closing off her most disturbing thoughts. But, she supposed her most disturbing thoughts were much more disturbing now, since... Amethyst sighed and pushed the thought away. That wouldn't do, wouldn't do at all. No, she needed to stop thinking about that. She saw a slight movement in the brush below her tree. It couldn't be her family, she was pretty far in. Just as she was fitting an arrow into her bow, a rabbit sprang from the bushes. Amethyst let out a sigh of relief and released her arrow. She watched it zoom downwards, hitting its mark as though controlled by Avory's telekinesis. She had always prided herself in her aim. Amethyst smirked, willing herself into a more muscular form before springing from the tree, sticking the landing with ease. She returned to normal form, and picked up the dead rabbit. "Thank you little bunny," she whispered to the plump corpse. "Thank you for dying for us."

Where ever the wind blew is where Caroluna Devoveo headed. For a few months now she'd become a wanderer and nomad, she had no place to call home anymore and she quite preferred it that way, it kept things fresh and interesting. Today it just so happened that her aimless wandering would have her land in the small town of Tranton the home of many other psychics in hiding. It was nestled in dense, scenic foliage and was quite quiet. Right away Caroluna decided she wanted nothing more than to be low key and avoid the towns people as much as possible and continued her wandering in the direction of the creek who's gurgles and murmurs washed her in a cloak of calmness.

Caroluna stopped for a beat to lower her face to the chilling water and drank to the dregs, savor every drop nature had to offer. As she was doing so her sensing and connection to water allowed her to pick up on the animals a mile or so off that we're doing the same. There was a deer, flock of birds and farther down the line a rabbit who's shrill aura she felt moving farther away from the body of water and so she followed it out of sheer sport. The small woodland creature was quickly prancing farther into the woods and away from her path near the creek. Its heart beat was accelerating as it moved more feverishly as if it sensed that it was in a race. Caroluna quickened her pace, and almost caught up to the hare just when it's aura dimmed quickly to nothingness and all connection to it cut off.

"What... that's weird." The girl remarked as she sprinted forward but stopped dead in her tracks when she spotted someone palming the carcass of the small game. The girl had long silky brunette hair and stood at no more than 5'3. Caroluna was sure she could defend herself against her if need be, so she dropped her wariness for a second to question the girl.
"What are you doing out here kid?" The platinum blonde spoke authoritatively as the girl looked up from her palm with strikingly beautiful purple eyes. Caroluna took a step back, she'd never seen anything like it.
Is this girl possessed or something? Caroluna though as she palmed the surface of her jeans, feeling for her switch blade in case things got out of hand.

Avory thought he heard a noise, but put it behind him. He was more focused on what his father has said, and finding Thes. All right Thes, where are you...

He immediately headed towards the woods, specifically the stream, where the trees seemed to be slightly taller. That was where any hunting was to be done, because things that are hunted need water to drink, and the stream is an ample source of water. As he made his way there though, he momentarily lost his balancing when his power of Foresight kicked in. He quickly balanced himself out, but he could see blood on his hands. He shook his head to shake himself out of it. It was just his foresight power. Foresight was the one power he cant fully control. It would randomly activate, sometimes giving him a vision of the future or something close to it, like sensing danger. Occasionally, he could use it to predict what would happen next, or see what certain people might do if he did something, but his Foresight power would quickly give him headaches and nose bleeds if he used them for too long.

He continued to look for Amethyst, but he always called her Thes, somewhat worried by what he had seen. Blood was never a good sign. It was a sign of violence, of death. A vision of blood was never good to have, and him being worried made him anxious, and when he was anxious, he could not always filter what he said. He was close to all of his family, but he was especially close to Thes, at least he thought so. They had a lot of the same interests.

"Thes, you around here!?" he shouted, looking everywhere. That is when he spotted her with another person. "Thes? Who is this?" His vision of blood before made him very cautious about this new person with Thes. He walked closer to Thes, and whispered in her ear. "My power of Foresight acted up again. I saw blood on my hands. I never see blood unless something violent is about to happen, and now you are with a stranger in the woods. I would be careful, I don't trust her. Its too coincidental..." Avory was very caring towards his family, and his vision of blood was affecting his attitude towards stranger at the moment.

Random NPC Control time: Damion Connors

As Elysia and Walters entered, Damion was waiting for them there. "Welcome. We need to be brief, and we need to be quick. We have tracked down a family of psychics that have been eluding us for years. Now, we have slowly been able to detain and rehabilitate two of them, one being myself, which is why I have been selected for this mission. Our mission is simple: detain and rehabilitate the rest. Now, our targets are: Jack Connors, Rose Connors, Jake Connors, Amethyst Connors, Avory Connors, Jeremy Connors, and Rachel Connors. Out of all these targets, there are some we have to look out for more then others. Avory is a high priority target due to his power of Foresight. He usually gets warnings of us coming before we even know we are coming, and its how they are usually one step ahead of us. He also has telekinesis and Booming. Amethyst can make herself look like anyone or anything. Once you get eyes on her, you make sure she never leaves your sight. Jack Connors is sick, dying from cancer from what it looks like. But don't let that fool you. He is a powerful psychic, having Telekinesis, and also he has the power to enhance and/or focus the powers of another Psychic, allowing them to be much more precise and powerful".

He then looked from the data and at the other Agents. "HVPRs and other assortment of assistance will be provided. We have had transport assembled already, and we will be there within 10 minutes. Report to the gunship in 4 minutes fully equipped".

"Look, I'm just trying to pass through. I don't want any trouble, I just though that this girl was lost is all." Caroluna said hoping that she was doing a good job at sounding calm and non threatening. Luna watched as the brown haired boy knelt down and whispered something to the purple eyed girl who apparently went by the name Thes. The girl nodded slightly as he rose to his feet.
"Who are you two? What are you doing out in the woods all by yourself?" Luna questioned apprehensively. As she appraised the two, she noticed that neither of them could be any older than fifteen but that was not enough for her to put her guard down. She'd heard too many stories on kids as young as 14 being captured by The Department and used against psychics as a psychological tactic being that most people would never have the gall to fight a kid, but Caroluna refused to be taken down by The Department, not when they had her Brother. She had to save him, he was all she had in the world and she refused to let him be brought down with such dishonor. Her bloodline was down to it's last leg, and that alone was enough to compel her to fight. Abruptly Luna cleared her throat and wiped away a stray tear that had rolled down her cheeks when she'd compromised her concentration with the thoughts of her family.
"I demand to know. Are you psychics?" She questioned, as she stared into Thes's piercing purple eyes. Maybe that was the reason the two kids would take refuge in the outskirts of Tranton, and if so she would have to admit she may need their help. She didn't have much of a plan on facing The Department. All of her musings resulted in her death or worse her capture, she needed a team.

Amethyst studied the girl harshly, not knowing what to think. She heard Avory's call long before his appearence, but she didn't want to call out in case this girl was posed any danger. All the same, she was relieved when he appeared. She didn't like being alone in circumstances like this, and it gave her comfort to know someone trustworthy was by her side. Amethyst made no reaction the Avory's whisper, not wanting to give away their position to this mysterious girl. To be honest, she comepletely agreed with her brother, even without knowing what his foresight. As the girl spoke, Amethyst took a step forward, suddenly wishing she had worn her sunglasses. But then, she had no way of knowing someone else would appear. She loaded her bow in one fluid motion, rabbit lying on the ground, forgotten. "It doesn't matter who we are," she said quietly, emotionlessly. "Nor what we are. Not to you, anyway." Amethyst's gaze didn't waver as she waited for the girl to show her true colors.

Avory watched the girl as Thes loaded her bow. He could easily reach for his bow as well, but something stopped him. Something in the trees, behind the girl. It stepped out, a black, cloaked figure, wielding a scythe. He quickly snapped out of it though, realizing it was just his Foresight again. The figure disappeared, because it was never actually there. Often when his foresight was acting up on its own, he would get a series of visions, not just one. His eyes would also glow when this happened as well. He then remembered the situation around him, and refocused.

Avory kept an eye on the girl. But his foresight just showed him the Grim Reaper, the symbol of death. And the first one was blood on his hands. Am I seeing my own death? No, no, these visions could mean anything. It could just mean something deadly is coming. My foresight is rarely clear and simple.

Avory reached for his bow because of her last question though. Asking that question like that, and so bluntly, made him suspicious. But worse, it made him curious. "If we were psychics, why would we be here? And that is a stupid question to ask, because I doubt an actual psychic would answer that truthfully". Avory couldn't help but notice her white hair, and the fact she was out here by herself. While Agents usually did run solo missions, that was when they were hunting one or two runners. Their family was so big, often the Agents came in groups of twos or threes. Occasionally just one had come after them, but that did not happen often anymore. Avory still did not trust her, but an Agent coming after them alone, and luckily finding them in the woods, was statistically low. Of course, he did not rule out the fact others might be around, but if they had equal or greater numbers, he doubted they would have waited so long to strike. Still, he did not trust her.

He quickly scanned the woods around them, just to be on the safe side. He didn't see anything at first, but when he looked back at her, he saw two more figures. Seeing as how Thes said nothing, he immediately suspected they were just his foresight acting up. Especially since she would have reacted to Damion actually appearing. The second figure he did not recognize though. They were both wearing black though, and each one of them said a word. "Reclaim". "Release".

They both disappeared, and Avory felt a drip of blood running out of his nose. Damn it. Well, at least that means foresight won't distract me again any time soon. But if she did not know we were psychics before, she will now. And when Thes sees my nose bleeding, she will know my foresight was showing me something big. How am I supposed to explain what I just saw when I don't even know what it means?

Avory especially did not like what the three visions were. One was blood on his hands, the second was a reaper, and the third was his brother and someone else, giving the most bizarre clue ever. He quickly glanced at Thes, and then mentioned "C'mon Thes, lets just leave. Standing here staring at each other is not going to get any of us anywhere..."

(Side Note: Avory's foresight visions are rarely if ever clear. Meaning, don't assume you know what they mean. Also, putting NPC control in a different post this time since this was so long...lol...)

Amethyst lowered her bow slowly. Something had bothered her little brother, she could tell. Turning towards her brother, face impassive as usual, she saw the blood. Oh, crap. What this time? she thought with an inward groan. Kneeling down to pick up the dead rabbit, she turned back towards the girl. "Don't get any ideas about following us. I don't care what you say, I don't trust you. Not at all." Amethyst smirked in a way that suggested superiority, speaking with more confidence than she felt. "Because if you do try to harm us, fair warning to the fact that you'll be dead within moments." She nodded her head towards Avory. " 'Cause this kid and I, we're perfect shots. Never miss a target. Get the picture?" Amethyst figured a little white lie didn't hurt, not in this case anyway. She turned on her heel, nodding to Avory. "Let's go." She wanted to wait until they were out of earshot to ask him about his vision. Mind, she may not want to know, but from past experience she knew they occasionally left him not feeling the greatest.

"Wait! Please... I haven't had a normal conversation in months, I'm kind of rusty." The platinum blonde admitted apologetically as she tried her best to be courteous and personable although she knew she was failing quite miserably at it.
"I'm Caroluna, actually just plain Luna and I'm a psychic." She stated boldly.
"Look, I'm pretty sure you two are psychics too, and I know there is no reason for you to care but I need your help and frankly you need mine. I've been town hopping for months and a insane amount of people have gone missing in each one, I have a hunch Tranton's next and if you plan to survive this wave of HVPR's and soldiers you're going to need a team." She stated, her words concise passionate and sharp as she spoke.
"I get that you don't trust me, I wouldn't either. Frankly I have some nerve asking you for help like this, but I wouldn't be doing it if everything wasn't on the line." She said earnestly as she removed her worn leather knapsack from her back and empty it's contents. On the dirt was her leather drawing journal, a pencil and charcoal, a hand of Fatima locket, rations, a 1955 colt python, a silver switch blade, a map, and some religious stones and herbs.
"This is all I've got on me." She said as she put her hands up in surrender.
"Here, take these on momentary loan. I'll be needing them back of course, but we can discuss that later, maybe after we discuss a possible alliance?" Caroluna said as she kicked the gun and switch blade over to the two to show them that she meant no harm and immediately after created a force field around herself inconspicuously in case they refused the deal violently.

As they walked away, he quietly told Thes what he saw, but he sounded panicked. "I saw the Reaper, the Grim Reaper. That's a sign of death. I mean, what else could it be? I saw blood on my hands, then a Reaper, and then I saw Damion and someone else I did not recognize. Oh no...what if I am predicting my own death? What if Damion is coming and he is going to kill me?". He was starting to panic a lot more now. But thinking you just predicted your own death can do that. His breathing was short and rapid, so he tried to calm down and take deep breaths. "My visions are never wrong, but they are obscure. Maybe it means something else. Please mean something else".

This was unlike Avory. He was always kind and brave in the face of danger, but seeing the Reaper rattled him a lot. However, as they were about to leave, this "Caroluna" admitted to being a psychic and practically surrendered to them. This shook him out of his worries, trying to focus on the current situation. He turned around to look at her, and at the same time saw his own reflection. His eyes were still glowing, but they shouldn't. His nose started bleeding, that marks the end of random Foresight visions, but his eyes glowed ever so slightly when he has them.

So when Avory got the biggest headache in human history, it tended to be a bad sign. He nearly collapsed, but caught himself from falling face first into the ground. This foresight was different. It was even less clear, but there was only one thing he got from it. "Run...it's coming....they are coming...".

There was no doubt in his mind they were coming. He had completely missed what Luna had said after he had the lapse however. He also could not filter what he was saying at the moment. "We need to warn the others, Thes". His eyes and face were saying something else however. Don't tell them about what just happened. Don't tell them its getting worse.

Amethyst winced at Damion's name, and again when Avory suggested that he'd kill them. "Please, don't," she pleaded quietly, knowing very well her brother couldn't hear her. It was more to hush her own mind, anyway. The last thing she needed was to bring back the memories. They needed to stay closed off. Forever. The distracted her from the present, from the now. And that wouldn't do, not with her family needing to be alert.

The girl's, er, surrender came as a bit of a shock. f she were an agent, she probab would have aacked already. Besides, she was only one girl. Avory and Amethyst surely had the upper hand should they meet battle. Besides, she thought. Maybe this "Caroluna" could be of help to us.She sighed. "Okay. You can-"

That's when she realized Avory's collapse. She heard his wordsas if from a distance. Ametht knew she had to warn the rest o the family, but she also knew Avory was in no condition to run. Sighing, she glanced at Caroluna. "Come if you want. But swear, one move against us and..." She glared, leaving the unfinished threat to hang in the air.

Then Amethyst morphed. She shot upwards, growing taller. She shortened her hair to a rough crew cut, to keep it out of her eyes. She let her legs and arms grow more muscular, and scooped up her brother. "Don't argue," she said sharply, expecting protest from him at bein carried. She glanced over her houlder at Caroluna. "Try to keep up." And she shot through the woods.

((Sorry it sucks. I don't have a lot of time.))

Caroluna watched as the boy lost his footing momentarily and a stream of brilliant red blood gushed from his nose and down to his pale lips. She knew that symptom, any psychic serious about advancing their powers did. She'd experienced it two occasions once during vigorous psychic training against her brother where she was forced to quickly learn to put up impenetrable force fields to prevent from being hit with the bullets firing out of the same Colt Python she carried with her and not too long ago handed over to the complete strangers. Her training was radical and definitely qualified as child endangerment but it taught her and her Brother to fight until they had nothing more in them, and then fight some more. The final and second occasion was the day of her Brother's capture when she was violently making tides in the waves quite uncontrollably.
As the boy collapsed the girl instantaneously caught him and began to morph into someone brand new, it was an amazing sight and Caroluna stared dumbfounded as if she was a small child circa nineteen fifties seeing a color TV set for the first time. She had hear of shape-shifters before but chalked them up to be myth being that she'd never see one in person. Her Grandmother was rumored to have been one, but she'd never had the pleasure of meeting her.
"Run it's coming... they are coming... we need to warn the others, Thes." The boy called, he was in no shape to face whatever or whoever the it was, and was becoming less conscious as time passed. Thes authoritatively advised Luna to keep up with the two if she planned on not getting left behind. Luna nodded in response and started sprinting as fast as her legs could take her, and kept a steady pace with the two. Many times she had the opportunity to advance but she had no clue where she was going and how far away it was so she stayed a few steps behind the duo and ran from the mysterious it the assumed the boy had prophesied. As she ran the trees blurred into into a kaleidoscope of earthy hues, she watched how tenderly the girl carried the nameless boy, it reminded her of the bond she had with her brother, and how they used to be in their younger years. There was no doubt in her mind that they were family, she saw it and she felt it in the way their auras meshed, it was beautiful and saddening all at the same, but she quickly pushed it out of her brain, noticing that she'd fell behind a bit too much. Luna pushed her self even harder to concentrate and make it to their base, where she hoped she wouldn't find out that the it was The Department, she'd been successfully evading them and was dreading a run in with their ruthless, corrupted soldiers and was most terrified of seeing her brother.

((Haha! Thanks! c; The spelling sucks though. -.-))

Amethyst ran without slowing. She heard nothing but Luna behind them. Perhaps Avory had misinterpreted his vision...? But, no. She had no choice but to trust her brother. After all, it was he who saw these things firsthand. The rest of them had no idea. Not really.

Finally, she came to a clearing, the house on the other side. Good, we're back, she thought, relieved that she had found her way back. Amethyst saw a strange girl on the porch, one she had never seen before. Of course, she may be friendly, but there was no being too careful.

She pulled Avory over to one side, using her other hand to load her bow. Sticking the end on the arrow in her mouth, she shot it towards the girl. Amethyst laughed when it met its mark, the excess cloth from the girl's shirt. Amethyst didn't want to kill. Not yet, anyway. But her arrow would keep the girl out of the way, pinned to the outer wall, to which it was embedded.

Amethyst sprang through the door, almost running into Rose. She changed back to her normal appearance, setting Avory down. to the side. She wasted no time shutting the door behind Luna. Amethyst grabbed her oldest sister's arm. "Rose," she said quickly, eyes fearful. "They're coming. Avory saw it. And he says..." She forced out the last word. "Damion."

ImageAs soon as Caroluna got to the clearing everything was moving in a fast paced frenzy. The girl by the name of Thes quickly propped her brother up in a coroner and ran inside the cabin, a cacophony of hushed and hurried whispered could be heard from the outside where she stood quite awkwardly until she decided she should make herself useful. She looked over to Avory who looked out of it, but he was breathing normally and looked like he would come around with a little rest. On the other hand they was a girl on the porch that looked around Lunas aged who looked dehydrated, marred, and worn out. She walked over to the girl with very little caution, she felt like she knew her somehow, and then she realized she felt a familiarity in her soft looks and battle scarred appearance, in her she saw herself.
"Excuse me," Luna spoke gently as she shook the girls arm gently trying to rouse her from her overexertion induced stupor.

[OOC: I am going to make a revision to her knapsack contents, I am adding two canteens of water, an mp3, incense and matches]
Quickly Luna removed a canteen of water from her bag and a chocolate bar she'd used her five finger discount to get and handed it to the girl. It wasn't much but it was something, and all she was willing to offer to the stranger for the time being.
"Drink and eat this." She said as she handed the girl the items. The blonde looked fatigued and shaky, she used her own past experiences as diagnose and concluded that her sickness could simply be low blood glucose level, or in other words low blood sugar, the candy would bring her glucose levels back up and she would be back on her feet in no time.
Image
"Apparently we have some visitors on the way, hostile ones. So do your best to get back on your feet and be prepared to fight." Luna advised as she took too her own advice and took the other canteen out of her bag for a swig. She sat patiently there for the remainder of Thes's conversation, she would need her gun and knife before the hostiles arrived if she was to be on her A game, but she felt it untimely and rude to barge in. If anything she'd use her hand to hand training, she wasn't too bad at it, actually she'd beaten her father at sparing plenty of times but she preferred to keep distance between her and her enemies, it was all hocus pocus but she felt like their negative energy interfered with her effectiveness in battle.

Demetri Joane

Demetri felt an arrow go through her shirt and didn't do as much as blink. She was worn down to the point that even that was difficult to do. However, she did wonder why somebody would bother to shoot at her. It's not like she was going anywhere. She wasn't tired any more, but that was simply because she was used to going day to day without sleep. Now that she had finally stopped moving she could regain a bit of her energy. Although that was rather hard to do when she was excrutiatingly hungry and dehydrated.

Just as she was thinking this, a girl spotted her and walked up to her. Demetri merely stared at her as she walked forward. Then the girl shook her and Demetri opened her eyes to a bit more than slits. She felt something cold put into her hands and she looked at it. Water! Oh glorious water! Suddenly her exhaustion was gone and with more speed than she thought she could manage the canteen was up to her mouth and she was gulping away. After each gulp she could feel a her throat become more and more...well, normal. But then she tried to swallow too much and ended up spitting out the water in her mouth.

She coughed a few times before looking up at the girl, more alert now. "Thanks, and sorry," she said, a bit of a rasp in her voice.
Then the girl handed her a chocolate bar, and she swore that she wanted to hug her right then and there. She ate a big chunk out of it but was careful to chew it fully before swallowing it, so she wouldn't have to repeat the events that occured with the water. She almost spit it out though when the girl said her next words. "Apparently we have some visitors on the way, hostile ones. So do your best to get back on your feet and be prepared to fight." People were coming here to fight? Oh god...

Slowly, she got to her feet and looked at the girl. "How long until they are here?" She never fought, she only ran. It's what she was good at, not fighting! She could maybe fend off a few. She had once knocked out a hunter by the name of Dylan but that wasn't going to do much good if there was more than one of them! Oh god...she was going to get captured. Maybe if she ran though. It just depended on the amount of time left.

Dylan Simmons

Dylan got on the gunship minutes after everyone had disperesed the room. All she had to do was grab her duffel and her belt. She always brought extra clothes if in case she stayed a bit longer than planned, and her belt had all of her equipment. She swiped them up and walked straight to the gunship. As it took off she felt a sense of dread coming upon her. She had to work with others, surely they would find some way to screw everything up, and annoy the hell out of her in the process. Why couldn't she do this on her own? She had captured families by herself, surely she could do this too.

Elysa started talking about the 'game plan' and mentioned how everyone had to work together to capture the family. Please, she didn't need any of these people. She was more qualified than the lot of them. Eight years in the department, six of them in non-stop training, and she got stuck working with other people? She could catch anybody by herself. She would prove it to them, and she would never have to go through this hell again. Elysa mentioned her use of tracking skills to find them and Dylan almost interupted but kept her train of thought to herself. Really, to hunt down people that we can't find, I need to use my tracking skill that I have been using on all of my missions for the past six years? I'll try and keep that in mind. She knew her sarcasm would get her nowhere, but she couldn't help but think it.

Then it came up that Vance would be teleporting them. She had to admit that was a good idea, but she knew all of this was in vain. Elysa mentioned the element of suprise, that was a joke. "You think we will suprise them?" She said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Suprise is not an option, that Avory boy has foresight, there's no way he won't see this coming. We may be more prepared than them, but don't fool yourself into thinking we can just pop in and pop out." She let that sink in before continuing. "We need to use weakness's. Damion is part of their family, which means they still love him. What if we used him against them?"

Everything was happening so fast, it made her head hurt even worse. Her senses picked up on three psychics advancing towards them from the woods, which sent her mind into a tizzy. Isabelle quickly whispered to the boy in front of her "I'm fine. Go help your brother." How she knew that the boy in front of her and the boy being carried by another into the house puzzled her, but it was the sense that she got. Just like how she sensed that the girl on the porch and the girl trailing after the one holding the other boy were completely different. They weren't related. Just then the girl that was carrying the boy, whose name was Avory, based on what the girl was saying, came running up. "Rose," she said. "They're coming. Avory saw it. And he says... Damion."

Damion

The word bounced around inside her head. The familiarity of it struck her as odd and a look of confusion passed her face, and then realization. And then everything came rushing back to her in a wave of memories. Stealing a glance towards the house where most people had gone, she gathered that they weren't paying attention to her. Using that to her advantage, she sprung up and darted off into the woods, grimacing as her headache tripled. As soon as she reached the cover of the brush, she concentrated past her headache. sensing no one had followed her, she continued farther in and then nimbly climbed a tree. Her lightweight small build made it easy to climb to the tallest branches, far off the ground, hidden in the leaves.

Everything was coming back to her in such waves of memory she had wondered why she had surprised it for so long. Her childish lonely personality full of fear and longing had shifted into a cold, determined, mind-set. Setting to work, she draped her backpack over a large branch, securing it so it wouldn't fall to the ground. Then she reached below the collar of her very worn, very tattered dress and felt the cool metal chain of her necklace biting into her skin. Pulling it out, she studied the necklace. An ancient looking locket hung on a silvery metal chain.

Isabelle froze. Was she doing the right thing? Maybe there was a reason she was running from the HVPR's. Maybe there was a reason she had left. Had escaped. Nobody has ever escaped. But nobody would suspect a seven year old would. To do something like this....

No. She had to follow through.

Picking up the locket she had ignored for several months, it being useless to her, she looked at it again. Scrawled onto the cool surface of the locket in cursive lettering were the letters "DPA". It had never made sense to her until now. SHe had ignored it completely. Carefully using her small fingertips to pry the locket open, on the inside was a small metal chip, the mechanical inter workings of the electronic device spiraled away from the center in a network of colorful dots. In the center of the metal chip was a tiny red button she had always been too afraid to press until now.

Taking one of her small fingers, she gently laid her finger on the button.

Should I press it? What is the worst that could happen? A lot of things. A lot of terrible things. Don't press it. But I have to....

She pushed down on the button. It gave out a faint beep and then a small red light started to flash on the side of it. she carefully closed the locket again and tucked it back into her dress so it wouldn't be seen. Letting out a sigh, she closed her eyes, hoping the headache would go away.

At that same moment, on the gunship the agents happened to be on, a small screen opened up on Elysia's computer screen. On the small screen it said "Subject 03071 'Isabelle; Psychic' GPS microchip activated. Exact coordinates listed are as follows:" With a string of coordinates attached. At the bottom in small fine print it says "Has made contact with Conners family"

((I know, crazy idea. Just go with it, it will be awesome. Mr Baneling Squishy, if you don't like this post or idea please tell me. I have a few ideas I would like to PM you))

Avory seemed to be getting his color back, but he did not look physically 100%. But that was fine, because even if he looked bad physically, his powers could be spot on. However, what he was really worried about was what he saw. Both from his visions, and in the mirror. His eyes were still glowing. He tried getting up, but found he needed to rest on the wall. He could feel cold wind. He looked around, and did not see anything.

"Where did everyone go?"

The house seemed empty, abandoned. He looked for people, first checking upstairs. He checked his father's room first, then the three bedrooms divided between the six of them. He remembered someone, but he couldn't remember who, complaining about how they could never find a house with a bedroom for each of them. Though, 7 bedrooms would be quite expensive. "8 even more so..."

He turned around to find Damion. "So, this is how you decide to talk to me now? Through my foresight?"

"We were close enough that I did not deserve that, Avory".

"And let me guess, you are here to convince me that turning myself in is the right thing to do?"

"No, I am telling you its the only thing to do. But that is not the only thing. I care about you, you know that".

"So why are you bringing so much violence?"

"You don't understand, and I cant just tell you. You need to see for yourself..."

"Really...and where is mom in all this? Where does she fit in?"

"Avory, it wasn't The Department that got mom. That was a lie. If you come in, I can explain everything".

"Just like how you are telepathically scanning my mind for information? Nice try. You wont learn anything from me, just like you wont learn anything from this house. And I don't care what lies you use, you leave her out of this..."

"You know your foresight would not act up like this if it wasn't important..."

"And you know you only got lucky that my foresight brought me into the same timezone as you. I might not always know how to control my foresight, but at least I know how to end this vision..."

Avory became fully aware again, but he had a headache the size of Massachusetts. However, it was less pain and more debilitating. But his eyes were still glowing, just not as bright. He actually got up this time, and muttered "We should leave now". He took out his compact bow and released the mechanism that let it deploy fully, loading an arrow into it and firing it straight towards a window. At the exact second he fired, an HVPR broke threw it, but the arrow pierced one of the ocular devices allowing it to see and knocked it back, causing severe damage and taking it down. "Someone needs to get the truck...and we need to run..."

Avory was still somewhat weak, but his foresight appeared to be working for him this time, as he was using it to literally know what would happen a second before they did. It gave him an edge, especially since he knew every point they would enter. He put a few more arrows into HVPRs, and used his telekinesis to recollected as much arrows as possible.

As he backed out threw the front door, an HVPR was launched over his head and really far in a tree. He could not see what did that, but neither did he want to. And with the HVPRs all over the place, he was worried about losing track of people. Luckily, their father always kept the most important things in the car. Their two youngest siblings, Rachel and Jeremy, were nowhere to be seen. They were probably with their dad. But for some reason, the dust was rising from the dirt road, making it a lot harder to see. It was almost as if someone was doing it on purpose.

"Where are the cars?! Where is the truck!".

However, he soon found one of his answers. He found one of the cars, but the trunk was open and the car battery was missing. "Who removed the battery, what possible purpose could that serve other then to disable a vehicle..."

At the same time, he could hear something in the background. A gunship, maybe two. At least this dust will make it impossible to see us from the air...

And that's when he turned and saw a figure, wearing black clothing, and holding a scythe. But it wasn't the grim reaper. It was real. It was a person.

His vision was not of death, but of a man with a scythe. A man, however, that seemed very powerful and very fixated on Avory.

(I swear, I start typing these things, and then they go placed I don't expect them too...anyways, great posting people! I bet you all have something to do with it, and I love what I am reading! Keep up the great work!)

Image"I know just as much as you do." She started with a sigh but then went for her locket and opened it up, on one side was a picture of her family and on the other was a brass clock with all the gears exposed in it's beautiful intricacy.
"If it's The Department," She said quite casually between gulps.
"I give them thirty minutes or less." She said as she noticed a bit of uneasiness on the girls face.
"Looks grim doesn't it?" She said, as she looked around at their mock militia. Avory was recuperating from some strenuous psychic feat, the girl next to her had only just regained her strength, Caroluna herself was without her trusty firearm and the only other defense she knew of was bickering in doors with some mystery person.
"It may look bad, but strength is in numbers... or so they say." Luna spoke, trying to be insightful and positive but she wasn't all too sure herself.
"All I know is that running won't work for ever. We can't live our lives scared of them." Just as Luna said this she heard the sound of breaking glass coming form inside and the site went up in plumes of dirt and soot, they were here. Luna hurriedly ran inside in search of her weapons, they were both laying on a wooden breakfast table in the corner, she picked them up and ran outside too see if she could make anything out in the plumes of dirt. She could only see a few steps ahead, and the soot in the air was making hard to breath without choking on particles. Luna put up a force field enclosure around herself that pushed the dirt out and left a clear space, Luna enclosed any one in her vicinity inside safely and kept a wary eye out.

Demetri Joane

Demetri suddenly felt very uneasy. Who says she can't run forever? Obviously this girl was not as good at it as Demetri, otherwise she wouldn't say such a thing. Just as she was thinking that though, a HVPR flew right past her and into the window. It shattered and pieces flew everywhere. Out of instinct she lifted her hand up and the glass stopped midflight. She heard gunships in the distance and she knew that her chances of escaping this were slim. She couldn't run from a fleet of them.

Why were there so many though? Was there something here that was so special? she didn't have any answers, but she knew one thing, she was running away from these people if they got out of this. Her first few minutes here and they had the department's army out for them. She ran into the house and looked around. Everyone was in a frenzy, grabbing weapons and shooting at HVPRs. It was madness. One of the machines burst through the window again and she made a sweeping motion with her hands, causing it to fly right back out and onto the grass. She heard a scream and crying up the stairs and she groaned as she ran up to see what happened.

There was an HVPR hovering over a little boy and girl. Weapons drawn and pointing at both of their faces. She made a split decision and ran toward the machine, taking out one of her knives and landing on it's back at the same time. She cut all the wires she could find, but was thrown back after a few moments. It turned around and aimed it's guns at her but they didn't shoot. She must have disconnected its weapon system. She kicked out and let a force out that sent the HVPR flying through the wall and landing with a crash on the ground.

She looked at the two and held out her hand. "Come with me!" She yelled. They got up and the girl grabbed her hand while the boy took hers. "Keep close!" She yelled. She looked out the hole the HVPR left and she almost lost her breath. Dust was everywhere, making it almost impossible to see. But where you could see, the HVPR's were in sight. They were everywhere, she couldn't get these kids out of here without at least three of them on their trail. She had to hide them.

"This way!" She yelled, since it was getting hard to hear over the roar of the gunships outside. She ran to the closet and threw the door open. This was the department, how could she hide the kids? Then she got an idea. She made a pushing motion and a hole formed at the top of the closet, leading up into a small gap in the fram of the house for the kids to hide in. "Here, get in!" she yelled, and hoisted the kids up into the hole. It was a tight fit, but they had a better chance of being unnoticed than if they were huddled in a corner. She grabbed the part of the wall the had fallen and handed it to them to set back over the hole and shifted the clothes to make that part of the wall unnoticeable.

"Now stay quiet and don't come out until I come and get you!" Then she ran back down the stairs and out the door to where the other people were. Why wasn't she hiding herself? She didn't even know those kids, why would she bother helping them? A cloud of dust hit her in the face and she lifted up her hand to shield her eyes. Right in front of the house she could make put a ship landing, and she knew that they had no chance. That's when she saw two of the girls out in the field. She ran up to them and yelled out, "The little kids are safe!" She didn't know if they would trust her or not, but she was going to try and help. If she didn't there was no way they would get away, and she was not going to be an agent.

Dylan Simmons

As the ship landed and the door began to open, she hopped through the crack, leaving all the others in the ship. She couldn't see very well, but they had trained her well enough that she shouldn't have to. In front of her was a house, so that was the way to go. "Avory is mine..." She muttered to herself as she walked towards the house with a purpose. As she approached it though, she ran into an invisible wall. Through it was a girl, and there were two others on the other side of it. One face made her eyes widen. It was Demetri.

This was too good to be true, the two that had escaped her were both here. This might be the happiest moment of her life. She smirked at the girl and looked back at the one in the forcefield. She wouldn't be able to hold that forever. Although she was known by almost all psychics, she hoped that most of them hadn't heard of her. Demetri had, so she would know what to expect. But it was always fun to suprise them. She didn't look how she acted in the slightest. She placed her hand on the small invisible dome, crossing around it to face the two girls. She gave a small wave to them and smiled. Then she yelled in the sweetest voice she could muster. "I'm going to have to ask you to surrender, otherwise we will have to use force." Well, more force. She was pretty sure setting an army of HVPR's on their quaint little home would count as force. She silently hoped they would fight back though. She loved a good fight.

Whatever was causing the dust storm stopped, and the dust itself seemed to be blowing away from the telekinetic storm being made nearby. Avory was desperately fighting off this one person, who was wearing all black and holding a scythe, to behead Avory and steal his powers with. Avory only knew that because he saw it happen because of his foresight, and was able to dodge that first attempt.

The attacker telekinetically threw a car at him, so he used his telekinesis to launch it higher in the air to miss him. However, the gunship flew closer to the fight to assist, but ended up getting hit by the car.

-----

Damion looked out the window of the gunship, and then saw a car with its alarm going off heading right towards them. "BRACE YOURSELVES!"

-----

Avory launched a few rocks at the guy, but he hit them with fireballs and blasted them away. Then seemed two pick up two big rocks at the same time, and threw them at Avory. Avory, to counter, used his telekinesis and created a telekinetic whirlwind around him, picking up all the objects nearby into it, before sending the entire mass as the attacker.

"Who the hell are you?"

Avory knew that voice. Damion. As the attacker looked towards Damion, a huge psionic pulse hit him, but he created a barrier around himself to take most of the damage. Avory could see more HVPRs coming, and they were outnumbered, not to mention the abnormally powerful psychic also trying to kill him. That is when Avory finally spotted the truck. Using his telekinesis, he started the truck and made it start rolling down the hill, with him jumping into the back, and firing some arrows at the HVPRs.

On the way, he spotted his younger siblings Jeremy and Rachel, and used his telekinesis to get them on. He then shouted to Thes and Luna "We need to go now!" while at the same time firing an explosive arrow right at Dylan, who he had recognized from 7 months ago. The last Agent to have come after them. The one he managed to escape from.

"Quickly, we need to go now!" he shouted, noticing another little girl there as well. Was he seriously that oblivious that he missed someone who was standing near them the whole time? He would have to address his observation skills later though.

Amethyst turned at Avory's voice, lowering her bow, which she had been readying for another shot. She smirked at Dylan. "Sorry. That's for me. Catch you later! Or better. I won't!" She laughed, extending her arm to an unnatural length, grabbing a hold of the edge of the truck bed. She placed an arm around Jeremy and Rachel, as to keep them stable.

"Luna!" She yelled, knowing now that this girl was on their side. "Let the shield down and come on!" She extended her other arm towards the girl, but it was being pulled away every minute.

She glanced at Avory. "That little girl isn't on our side. She was holding a friendly conversation with Dylan, so, yeah. A wolf in lamb's skin." She added the last part subconciously.
