Myranda was still in her room getting ready for the party. She knew it was no coincidence that her dad decided to throw her 'coming of age' party the same night as the End of Seasons Festival, it was his way of trying to keep her under his thumb that much longer. She looked at her reflection in the mirror once more, her hair was up in fancy up do with just few strands left down to frame her face and she was dressed in a beautiful backless red dress that hugged her curves before flowing down to the ground. Her father disapproved of the gown, but Myranda loved it and got it without her father knowing.

"Miss, it's time, your father is growing impatient." One of her father's protégé's called from outside her door. Myranda sighed quietly, "Yeah, yeah, I'm coming." She said as she walked out of her room. The guy standing in front of her was rather handsome, someone most girls would fawn over, but he was far too devoted to her father for her to have any interest in the guy. For tonight, he was supposed to be her escort, at her father's request of course, though to Myranda, it felt like he was more of a babysitter than anything. 'I don't need a babysitter,' She thought a little sourly as they made their way downstairs to the party.

Myranda was led around by her father and her 'escort' being introduced and talking to a lot of different people, at the first opportunity, she slipped away from them and was about to make her escape when she noticed a ruckus by the buffet. She decided to take a moment and find out what was going on. When she got closer, she saw the guy who was grossing out her father's guests. It was clear this guy didn't fit in with her father's friends, which made her want to befriend him all the more. "It's a buffet, there is more than enough food, there's no need to stuff your pockets like that. You're drawing far too much attention. Soon you may be thrown out for crashing the party if you don't at least try to blend in." She said, walking up next to the guy and carefully filling her own plate with food.

Sun Wu stopped eating for a moment, dumbfounded that someone had dared to say such a thing to him. Then he remembered he was in the form of one of those ugly hairless humans. With his mouth still full of food he began laughing out his own idiocy, only to quickly let out a loud COFFGH noise as bits of half chewed banana exploded out of his mouth.

It was a hell of a first impression.

Quickly recovering as if nothing had happened Sun Wu bowed with a large infectious smile on his face. "Eh, And my pockets are full." He said defeated, his eye's mischievously staring at Myranda's pockets.

Myranda's eyes widened slightly as the pieces of banana flew across the room, landing on a guy's jacket. She covered her mouth to stifle a giggle as the guy's changed from red to purple as he grew angry, his eyes landing on Myranda and the guy next to her. "We should probably get out of here." She said, slowly setting her plate down on a nearby table. Just then the guy shouted, and started toward them. "Come on!" She said, quickly grabbing her new 'friend's' arm and running out of her father's house, laughing the whole way. She continued to run until they were far from the house, mixed in with the crowds from the festival, not that she mixed in very well, with her extravagant dress.

Sun followed after Myranda, letting the excited girl practically drag him out of her fathers house in a rather comical fashion. Soon they found themselves in a particularly busy section of town, a makeshift stage having been set up. Currently a trio of flame dancers occupied the stage, their basic understandings of the heavenly magics allowing them to conjure shapes and tricks Sun found utterly pathetic. Still the humans were trying, and for that he had to give them credit-and a smile.

Quickly finishing up their act to much applause the fire dancers cleared the stage only for an upbeat cymbal rhythm to immediatley begin sounding from backstage. Hurriedly three men rushed out onto the raised platform, all contained in the body of a dragon like costume. In perfect rhythym they danced and rolled around stage, comically chasing after a jester type character. It was an all to common, and humorous, representation of demi gods.

Feigning all the fear he could muster Sun Wu jokingly clutched at Myranda. "Oh save me from the demons." He cooed with an oddly icy edge.
